It was a spacious room with great kitchen & bathroom & was quite modern which is lovely

I know this is a bit silly but it’s not a smart tv tehe as a traveller i often forget my chromecast or laptop so that option for people i think would be great.

Bathroom window in suite 6 was held on by a single rivet. Just a safety concern for belongings when unattended.

The bed in the bedroom was excellent .

The beds in the living room were not firm . There was only limited channels and no sky tv and because it was not a smart TV, to connect to Netflix, prime etc

Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, with very friendly, welcoming staff who were only too happy to accommodate our needs. As we were a traveling team, they even allowed us to check in early, so to make sure we could get to our game on time. A+++ accommodation

1. The bed was super-comfortable 2. Plenty of hot water 3. Well-equipped kitchenette (although with NO instructions at all for the stove or microwave). 4. Despite being on a busy arterial road, the unit was fairly quiet, which was nice.

1. On arrival, the office was open but on ringing the bell, someone came out. However, it turned out the Proprietor was "working remotely" and the staff member had to phone them to get a lockbox code to find our room keys. 2. The power point by the bed was so obstructed by the wardrobe that it was impossible to plug in my phone or hearing aid chargers there. Fortunately I had a short extension lead with me and managed to plug in my charger using that. The power point needs to be moved about 100mm closer to the bed so it's actually useable. 3. The room curtains were inadequately sized to fully cover the windows if you wanted privacy or needed to get a blackout to be able to sleep. I travel with a sleep mask, so fortunately that wasn't a problem. 4. Bathroom cleanliness wasn't great and some kitchen cutlery in the drawer hadn't been washed properly. 5. Later in the day of check-in, I went down to the office get the Wifi code and found a couple of elderly tourists there who had previously checked into their room but were having appliance issues. There was a number to call displayed but they didn't have a mobile phone available to ring the remote number for assistance. As they were getting no help at all I offered to assist. The stove problem wasn't immediately obvious until I experimented and found that being an Induction hob you had to turn it on at the wall, turn the hob's own power button on, select the element and select a power setting, THEN still required a pan on the element before it heated up. For those who are technically literate that isn't a problem, but for overseas visitors you really do need a short instruction card on the wall. 6.

Location, very clean & modern spacious room. Staff were very friendly, We simply loved our stay, travelled with young kids & twas windy rainy day when we arrived there, but Ellerslie Palms Motel kept us warm and comfortable ❤️ Will certainly recommend Ellerslie Palms Motel!

Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Good pressured modern shower. Our 3rd time here in 2 months to watch the warriors play. Only a 10 min Uber ride to stadium. Motel close to Sylvia park too.

Kitchen lights weren’t working. Shower floor is too slippery, needs a bigger mat or something. These are minor issues though.

Location was perfect for me as it was a Church Conference & in walking distance to the Venue & Shops

I couldn't cook my meals properly as tbe smoke alarm went off while using the frying pan, no fan for the cooking smells to go out. But they were happy to charge if cooking smells were left in the room.

We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room and we liked the way our towels were replaced everyday and the room was cleaned.

Would have liked two pillows however not a problem.

I was very disappointed with the level of cleanliness and maintenance of the room. There were marks and dirt all over the walls, black mould in the shower, and a significant amount of hair and grime around the shower and soap bottles. The shower hinges and other fixtures were also visibly dirty. The cups in the cupboard were not clean, and there was dust and grime around the light switches, bedside rails and other surfaces. There were also cobwebs above the bed in the bedroom, and we found old hair underneath the pillow covers, which was particularly concerning as it made us question whether the bedding had been properly cleaned and changed. There were also maintenance issues, including lights in the bedroom not working properly, with one light completely out. I have taken photos of these issues and can provide them if needed. I understand that a motel room may not be absolutely perfect, but the amount of dirt, mould, hair and general lack of cleanliness was well below what I would expect for paid accommodation.

The only thing I could fault was the steps up to the second floor and the slippery floor outside second floor but other then that no other faults

The Tiles on the bathroom floor need fixing/replacing

The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was a lovely room and easy to access from the car. It was quiet overall considering it was on a busy street, we didn't hear much of the traffic. Overall I think it was well worth it.

There was no one to check us in which was fine but we were just a little surprised about that. I think if I could have one thing to positively feedback to you, it would be to add another chair for dining. There were 3 of us and only 2 dining chairs. It wasn't the end of the world but it would be nice to accommodate for the number of people that have paid in my view.

2 bedroom was spacious, clean. Great shower with 2 windows for ventilation. Comfy. Great location to the warriors game at Mt Smart stadium. 10min Uber.

Enjoyed this room. We found the 1 bedroom last time we stayed the shower didn't have adequate ventilation. But the rooms are modern, clean and comfy.

No one at reception, after driving 5 1/2 hours we waited 10 mins then someone else told us u have to ring a number. Fridge didn’t work it was warm, milk was warm. We had food so had to go and buy bags of ice. Dishes were dirty. Holes in wall, broken tiles in bathroom, no fan in bathroom. Rang them back about the fridge, they send a girl, she said I’ll tell them. Hr later owner turned up said I’ll bring another one. No one came back??? So no fridge all weekend. I would like a refund it was terrible! Worst motel I’ve ever stayed in.

my whole experience! our room was infested with cockroaches it was very cold the draft from under the door was bad as there was a huge gap between the floor and the bottom of the door there was also no air vent in the bathroom so it was very wet! the heat pump didn’t work it was just bad

Room was not clean, found a bug, chair folded when a person tried to sit on it, tile in the bathroom was sticking out. Customer service was unhelpful and almost rude. Refused to do anything to help with the situation.

No Sky No Milk Only 1 toilet roll.. not even quarter full luckily I didn’t have the craps. Tv was not working until 830-9 via technician Heat Pump not working Fault code.

Bathroom really needs a fan with hot showers. Other than that everything was clean and comfortable.

service was bad. Admittedly we arrived late but when the manager finally answered he was grumpy. We went to the unit only to find that the door was badly damaged and unable to be closed. Once again the manager was hard to get hold of and he didn't believe me. After he tried to slam the door several times he decided to give us another unit. He obviously didn't want to be bothered with us Had a comfortable night in the end

THE MOST DISGUSTING ROOM I HAVE SEEN! WORST EXPERIENCE. DIDN'T EVEN REFUND ME.

1. The room was not ready or cleaned when we arrived at 3.15pm. We had to wait for the room to be cleaned and that made us very late for the function we were here for. 2. The heatpump wasn't working. 3. The TV didn't have any TV channels and was advertised that it had TV. 5. The was No Sky which was advertised as having sky. 6. No one was on-site to deal with and there was one poor cleaner lady doing everything. All these things were very poor and false advertising. I expect a refund as this is not good enough for the rate I paid as the room was not to the standard as advertised.

Receptionist was not available so had to call the given number. The person who answered sounded a bit frustrated as he found out I haven't checked my email regarding check-in instruction. I was busy that day and people don't usually check their email every hour. They sent the email probably 1-2 hours before I was checking in. You are allowed to become frustrated had you sent the email much earlier.

Only downside we had encounter was we didnt have a fan in the bathroom so when we showered it steams up real fast even with the windows open. Moisture everywhere, water droplets on the ceiling and the floor could be a little bit slippery

Very clean, good value for money! Bathroom was very nice.

Stated that a free portacot was an option however when we arrived there was none available. The kettle was past its time and poured out all over the place while in use which is a bit of a hazard. The only other thing would be the disruption from people walking up/down the stairs (we were down below), other than these minor inconveniences we enjoyed our stay.

Very disappointing experience. I lost my room key card, and the motel charged $102 directly from my bank account without asking for my permission or explaining the charge beforehand. When I called to discuss it, the staff member was extremely rude and unhelpful. The lack of communication and poor customer service made the situation even worse. I have never experienced anything like this before. I would not recommend staying here and will not be returning.

Was clean and tidy and was comfy bed

This place is 100% remote. No staff at all. Car was hit in car park and cameras are there but apparently don’t work! The office is always open and no one in it. Different stories from the people I speak to on the phone.

Just a few things, tile in bathroom was loose, a bit of a tripping hazard, the bathroom extract wasnt working but the room was well ventilated with small windows. Lastly the water pressure on the shower wasnt great. Think the shower head has a leak. Easy things to solve.

Only downside is that if you check in late the owner is not at the place but only available by phone. You have to phone the owner in order to check in.

Originally our wheelchari accessible apartment was on the second floor!! There is no lift for this to be plausible. Ellerslie Palms Hotel comes up as being wheelchair friendly. They should fix that error! Bathroom appeared clean, but had soap build up in corners, grime in-between tiles, hand basin didn't empty properly, a tile was lopsided just in front of the toilet, no handrails by the toilet or in the shower, shower was boxed off to where the wheelchair couldn't fit, hand basin was higher for a wheelchair-bound person, doorway for bedrooms couldn't fit a wheelchair. I had to wash, dry and pack my own dishes!! A motel has housekeepers who are paid to do this people !!!

Super quiet and very spacious

On first glance it looked clean, but it didn’t feel clean. The carpet felt icky, the couch was old and scummy. We messaged via booking.com regarding a late check-in. After no response I telephoned and was advised to call back the day of arrival, which I did, only to be told an email with instructions would be sent. We arrived at 10:30pm (after a 6.5 hour drive) to find no key for the stated room in the lockbox. I telephoned the after hours number and was told that they had to change the room number - this should have been communicated beforehand (you had my phone number & email - a simple text message would have been sufficient) - we were extremely tired after a long day of travel and didn’t need the added worry of potentially having no accommodation late at night.
