Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Great spacious room with comfortable bed. Generous range of foods provided for breakfast. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Local paper and brochures helped us to plan out our days. Really enjoyed the tour of the orchard and learning heaps about growing avocados - the guacamole was delicious!

Reviewed Jul 1, 2025A very spacious, quiet and comfortable place with everything we needed for our 4 day stay. The breakfast provisions were generous and a good selection of options. The lovely hosts were available onsite if needed but happy for us to be independent.
A good range of kitchen utensils, microwave and hot plate are provided but no kitchen sink. Dishes were placed in a container and washed by the hosts daily, and this system was ok.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2025We loved everything! Lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful! Excellent, informative, complementary avocado tour. Easy to find the property and good spot to be in for exploring the area. Private parking.
Need a car (transportation) to get there. Not close to a beach although lovely Waihi beach is only 20 mins drive away and well worth a visit.
