Nice location next to the beach, great view, friendly but at times inattentive staff, would need multiple questions asked to have things done. We’re very helpful when asked though.

No where to store clothes inside the room, menu was a bit strange and priced a tiny bit high for what it offered

The place is beautiful with stunning views. The staff are amazing; nothing is too much trouble. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the breakfasts are delicious.

Fantastic view, great staf, excellent restaurant. Excellent location nearby Pacifico beach in a vezutiful part of Siargao, to be honest: this is the most authentic part of the island.

The music: too loud and constantly cheap pop music, if you play more jazz style/soft rock in the evening it would be hit! Non residents are constantly taking pictures and selfies, very annoying for the hotel guests. They are building several new rooms, hope this does not affect the boutique atmosphere

Didn’t like people from outside hotel walking in the garden in front of my room and taking pictures. It should be not allowed to walk there in my opinion. No privacy. Staff in the restaurant need improvement, forgetting orders, very slow. Didn’t make up my room one day of my stay, when I asked about it later, they were not really concern about it.

There was no sufficient place to store and hand clothes in the room. Sometimes busy during lunch making it difficult to relax at the pool. We didn’t like that in the restaurant you had to add service charge + taxes to all prices, felt a bit sneaky

The location itself is extremely pretty. The fact they have a gym was good for me. The room was fantastic, great size and a view to die for.

We were located in the end room of the complex and you could hear all the air-conditioning units whirling which wasn't brilliant. The restaurant is actually the reception and not a separate entity. We felt the price of the food in the restaurant was steep. Overall, we felt that it was the perfect place to stay if you were an influencer but if you were a normal person it just lacked substance.

Fantastisch kleinschalig resort met prachtig uitzicht over de golven en het Pacifico strand. Vijf minuten lopen naar het strand. De staf was super vriendelijk en de loungebanken (for in-house guests only) met waanzinnig uitzicht over pool en oceaan een groot genot. Heerlijk ontbijt en een creatieve keukenbrigade. Acht dagen genoten. Ook de kamer (in totaal maar acht kamers) gezegend met hetzelfde uitzicht. Prima bedden en alles perfect verzorgd. Kortom, een echt parel in de Filipijnen.

The staff take care of every possible detail efficiently and with a friendly smile! The restaurant is a beautiful setting to enjoy the chef's perfect creations or comfortably chill with a view. The rooms are designed to highlight the ocean and waves that feel like they're right outside your slider. Top notch with an intimate feel. We extended our stay we loved it so much.

Staff were very helpful & super friendly. The best on the Island. Service, restaurant, spectacular view, daily room cleaning were all incredible!

The location is world class - on a low cliff top overlooking the ocean with surfers riding the waves right there. The rooms were modern and spacious and the restaurant and infinity pool were divine. The food is varied and everything we had was excellent. The staff are also very attentive and lovely.

They were out of some meals unfortunately - a supply issue. It is a little out of town and down a bumpy driveway. You need transport to get out of the resort. As we were there one night only we didn’t need to leave until we checked out.

The View, the restaurant and the exceptional staff. The view was exceptional, beautiful ocean view. The restaurant, even though the menu was limited, especially at breakfast, the food was excellent. As for the staff, their kindness and their dedication to make our stay enjoyable, is probably the best hotel employees I've encountered and that is saying much in my case.

EVERYTHING could be better: 1- Do not consider this as a hotel or even a boutique hotel, it is tiny and extremely limited! 8 rooms only! 2- The rooms are small, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. There are no fridges, no desk, nowhere to put your suitcase (ours were on the floor for 7 days), in these rooms. 3- The place is extremely isolated. You need a taxi or a tuk-tuk to go anywhere. In brief you are stuck in there for the duration. 4- Extremely difficult hotel to reach: as the name indicates it's on a mountain perch. 5- No access to the beach or ocean: again you will need a tuk-tuk. 6- The hotel does not provide any forms of transportation. 7- It is mainly known for its restaurant and the mountain view!

No direct access to the beach

Absolutely stunning hotel, beautiful views down the coast, kind and attentive staff, great food, amazing views from each room. We stayed for four nights and could have spent so much longer there. Epic surfing up the north part of Siargao and it's so much quieter and more peaceful than General Luna. We will come back!

Wow! Being on a remote island, we had everything we needed and the incredibly friendly staff made us feel right at home. They were also very helpful with our transportation.

Le personnel est souriant et au petit soin avec nous. Ils sont hyper réactifs et disponibles. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel et nous y retournerons volontiers !

The hotel is quite unique and you have a direct view of the ocean from the room and can hear the waves which is very relaxing. Staff is friendly and helpful.

It’s a quiet part of the island and unless you are a surfer there is not much there. I stayed 2 nights and that was enough.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr schöner Ausblick vom Zimmer und auch vom Pool. Alles unkompliziert. Moped direkt zum Hotel geliefert und abgeholt. Service sehr gut. Hervorheben möchte ich die sehr gute Küche im Restaurant. Zwar nicht alles hat uns gefallen aber manche Gerichte sind einfach der Hammer. Unbedingt nach Fang des Tages fragen. Super frisch, wir hatten Mahi Mahi gehabt, sehr zu empfehlen.

Es gibt sogut wie keine Ablagemöglichkeiten. Schrank oder sowas wäre hilfreich.

Trogon’s Perch Resort in Siargao offers a strong location directly above the cliffs in Pacifico. The eight renovated rooms have quiet air conditioning and an open view of the sea. The mattresses provide good comfort. The restaurant is excellent and led by a Catalan chef who adds a subtle local touch to classic Spanish dishes. Service throughout the resort reflects the usual Philippine hospitality, attentive and helpful. We spent four nights here and were very satisfied. Trogon’s Perch Resort en Siargao tiene una ubicación destacada sobre los acantilados de Pacifico. Las ocho habitaciones renovadas cuentan con aire acondicionado silencioso y una vista abierta al mar. Los colchones ofrecen buen confort. El restaurante es excelente y está dirigido por un chef catalán que incorpora un toque local discreto a los platos españoles clásicos. El servicio en todo el complejo refleja la hospitalidad típica de Filipinas, atento y servicial. Pasamos cuatro noches aquí y quedamos muy satisfechos.

Beautiful rooms with modern amenities and a beautiful sunrise coming through the huge glass doors as you wake. Restaurant is superb with lovely staff and excellent food.

Turn on AC in gym or open up the doors and windows to keep it cool please. It's no good turning it into an oven by keeping it closed and AC off

Perfect. Accommodation was just great. Very Kind staff, very good service. They truly think of the little things. Even at the early checkout (6:00 AM), they prepared us T.A sandwiches. The Room was big and clean. Good shower with hot water and good water pressure.

Realmente todo. Lo mejor el emplazamiento del hotel y las vista que tiene. Las fotos están bastante acertadas. El restaurante está muy bien y el personal es muy agradable. Estuvimos muy a gusto.

Por decir algo, el mantenimiento de las instalaciones igual podría mejorar un poco para seguir manteniendo el hotel al nivel que está. En las habitaciones hay bastante humedad, que por otro lado es bastante propio de la isla.

I had an absolutely amazing stay here! The location was perfect for everything I was looking for, and the views were to die for. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable I slept so well every night. It was hard to get out of bed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was warm, kind, and genuinely hospitable. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for every single day. A very special shoutout to Janice, JC, Josh, Jana, and the rest of the wonderful team you all made my birthday so special especially as this was my first solo birthday Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to come back in the future!

Our stay at this beautiful accommodation was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness. Every single staff member we met was kind, helpful, and simply wonderful — it felt like being among friends. The cleanliness throughout the entire property was impeccable. Everything was spotless and well maintained, which made us feel instantly comfortable and relaxed. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking — a picture-perfect panorama that we’ll never forget. The pool area was equally stunning, offering a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. We were also blown away by the food: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was a true highlight of our stay! The gym was perfect as well. It made it easy to stick to our routine, even while on vacation. All in all, this place exceeded every expectation. We were genuinely sad when it was time to move on. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

The property is exceptionally well maintained and managed and is of a high standard, with beautiful rooms and pool. The views across the bay are spectacular. Eating breakfast whilst listening to the waves and watching the surfers in the bay was a memory that will stay with me forever. There is no road noise whatsoever. The staff were very friendly and helpful (San, in particular the was very proactive) and the food in the hotel was exceptional. The hotel’s Spanish chef clearly knows what he is doing. People travel from all over the island for the restaurant, and also for the selfie opportunities, which could be quite comical to watch! (Or a sad reflection on our modern self-obsessed society, depending on your point of view 😬) The hotel is located on a small headland overlooking the bay. It is easily possible to walk to the surf beach (rentals/tuition) within 5 minutes or so, by which time you’ve already passed a small kiosk and burger van and you’re virtually on top of a couple of restaurants and cafes. Bear in mind you are at one end of a bay, which takes 15 minutes to walk along if you want to see all the shops and cafes that are here. Pacifico beach (20peso entrance fee) is at the other end of the bay from the hotel. For me, the location was ideal; away from all road noise, but close enough to walk to find the beach/coffee/food/bars if I wanted them. The hotels gym was a nice bonus, with enough equipment to keep most people happy. I was able to rent a motorbike from the hotel at low cost, which allowed me to tour the island. The hustle and bustle of General Luna and Cloud9 are about 1hr away on quiet roads. Port Dapa was a 1hr 1,000peso ride by Tuk Tuk. Airport about 45 mins but more like 1,200peso.

The hotel room was beautiful, but a lot of storage was at low level. Consequently, I spent quite a bit of time on my hands and knees; becoming quite well acquainted with the floor mounted room safe (which could just about accommodate a 15” laptop) and low level shelving. A simple clothes rail and shelf would be a nice touch, but it would potentially ruin the aesthetics, to be fair! Overall, these are minor issues in what was a superb hotel.
