Reviewed Mar 20, 2024Homestay”- this term generally means a place which we can call our own, our home. This place exceeded our expectations of a homely atmosphere- not just for amenities; that’s anyways a 10/10, but the warmth and hospitality of Shaheen aunty and her family touched our soul. Also, the prime location, beautiful interiors are worthy to mention. Last but not the least- the delicious home-cooked food is unforgettable.

It was very cold in our bedroom. Lovely electric blanket so fine once we were in bed but cold when you weren't.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2023The owner is really very helpful and polite. And his mother is superb. We were very hungry at the time time of arrival and she serves us very tasty kehwa. As They dnt provide dinner but as per our request she made special gravy wali gajar along with homemade chappatis (maa k hath ka khana) was awsum . I really appreciated the efforts of anty to make our stay very comfortable 😊
In short words washroom is very small . Towel is not upto the mark . The approach road is little difficult during morning time. But they have ample parking space inside their house.

The location is not ideal, but nothing to complain about if you have a car. It was a great experience. Just felt that the rooms are a little smaller than they look

Food served at hotel is delicious and served with love.Overall experience of staying there was fabulous. Highly recommended to book and stay there.

Reviewed May 25, 2023This was our first trip to Srinagar and we were glad to meet someone like Ummar who welcomed us to his beautiful home and gave us a great place to stay before heading to Leh. Ummar was incredibly service minded - upon our arrival, he brought us some amazing saffron tea - a great start to our stay. He also was a big help when we needed extra bedding, help finding a taxi into town, and tips about getting around the city in general. We met his wife and mother and they were all incredibly kind and generous. Great location too - we enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed May 22, 2023I have stayed at many homestays and Hotels be it travelling solo or with family, Taha Inn has been the best stay ever. The Host Mr Umer is extremely hospitable and ensures that you do not have any discomfort during the stay. Travelling from Delhi , I stayed at Taha Inn with my family, there was not even a moment when we felt that we're away from our home. Umer Bhai's family made sure that my family is comfortable. Every member of Umer Bhai's family was very hospitable be it his mother , wife & and his beautiful little angel Zoha. I really want to share the group photo we clicked at our checkout but without their permission & respecting their privacy I will not. Property is exactly as it looks in the images, unlike others where they show something and you end up at someplace else. TAHA INN will always be my fixed place to stay when in Srinagar. Thank you very much Umer Bhai, Aunty , Mrs Umer , Zoha and Taha 🙏 Looking forward to meet you again on our next trip.
