window lock in the room was broken so it made a quiet room a little noisier than planned as the wind whistling in could be heard through the night, sofa's could be comfier

The guest house was fantastic. Great communication from the owner on how to access the keys. Single room had everything I needed. Shared bathroom worked out really well (always a concern) - it was kept very clean. Access to the lounge and kitchen area if required and could come and go as you pleased. A++++ rating throughout.

Très bien placé, proche de la gare routière et ferroviaire et juste à côté du front de mer. Nombreux restaurants et boutiques proches. Grande cuisine bien équipée et propore, assez peu utilisée par les autres voyageurs donc assez pratique. Salle de bain commune propre, l'eau avait un peu de mal à s'évacuer dans la douche mais rien de catastrophique. Le rapport qualité prix est correct.

Nous n'avons croisé personne à part d'autres voyageurs donc pas d'avis à donner sur le personnel ou les hôtes. Il y avait une mauvaise odeur dans la chambre qui ne partait pas malgré l'aération. La chambre était petite, difficile de ranger ses affaires à 2. La literie était assez molle mais c'est une question de goût. Les serviettes de toilette étaient posées sur le rack à bagages quand nous sommes arrivés.

A stunning property in a fantastic location offering a modern, clean and mostly comfortable stay. Our twin room was well equipped, spotlessly clean with lots of wonderful touches. Couldn’t fault the location, nor the facilities, or the communication from the owner.

This is purely personal preference - the mattresses were too soft for us. Perfect for lounging and watching the tv in bed but not for sleeping.

Very close to railway station, bus station and sea front. It was perfect for me to access the Festival I had come for, using public transport.

Sharing a bathroom, but I knew about that before booking.

Room was very big and comfortable, bathroom was lovely. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel very homey. Having access to the kitchen, garden etc was very welcome. Parking in front of house was convenient.

It was tricky finding somewhere to eat locally - some recommendations would be welcomed.

Firstly I rarely give top marks but this place took me by surprise. The home felt so welcoming, comfy, and exceptionally clean. Most of all the attention to detail on the decor, ornaments, kitchenware. Also being a few minutes walk from the town centre and the beach. Parking was off road was a bonus too. Loved this place and hoping to return soon.

This is a lovely house in a great location. Everything necessary was provided and all was very clean and we'll looked after.

It's very anonymous. No staff are on sight and I wouldn't recmend it to women travelling alone.

Excellent check in and location. Great room and full kitchen available to use. Host also left milk, plus tea/coffee making facilities in the kitchfen

Parking not guaranteed but we were lucky and found a space on the street, then one of the 2 spaces became available. Would be good to know you've got a guaranteed space even if you have to pay extra

The hotel was quaint and quirky, well presented and furnished to high spec. Very clean and tidy.

No curtains only a wooden shutter that didn't exclude all light from early morning sun!

Lovely room in a house near the seafront. There was access to a lounge a large kitchen. I didn’t need to use either but they look great. Everything has been thought of in the room, including things I didn’t know I needed. Highly recommended. Not dog friendly ( usually have the dog in tow) , otherwise I would stay here more often.

Everything was perfect! The rooms were clean and comfortable and very modern. It was very easy to check in and out and staff were lovely. My payment didnt go through on time but they were so lovely and proffesional when they reached out to me. Location was perfect- right in the middle lf town and parking on site was a great bonus. The shared areas are also a lovely idea for people staying in different rooms. Will 100% recommend staying here and would stay again.

La chambre est spacieuse et au calme. La salle de bain est propre et bien entretenue. La location est près de la côte et très bien située pour aller en ville. Près de bons restaurants et magasins.Il y a un salon pour se relaxer et un jardin.La communication avec notre hôte a été vraiment sans soucis.

La chambre que nous avons louée est au dernier étage, donc pour se faire un thé ou un café, il faut aller en cuisine, une cafetière ou une bouilloire serait la bienvenue dans la chambre. Peu de choix en thés et café dans la cuisine. Par contre la cuisine est très bien équipée pour se faire à manger.

Its a shared house. It was a little annoying that one of the other guests in the house couldn't work the front door and so decided to bang on it at 1am. Thats not the issue of the owners but more a point that guests' experience may be determined by the consideration of others in the house.

The house is super clean, we loved having access to a kitchen. The room is really cosy and well furnished.

We wish there could be a kettle directly in the room as we have to go down two floors to access to the kitchen. We were hearing the person speaking and her music throughout our room

If you sleep lightly, this is not the place for you. I was in the top room and it was really really noisy. Every time someone downstairs left their room the door slammed. When the light to their loo was turned on, multiple times per night, it was like it was next to my bed. I could hear the people in rooms below talking, coughing, blowing their nose like geese and watching TV. This noise stopped at about 1AM on and started up again at about 6:30 AM. I paid almost 200£ to get no sleep.

Everything was spotless and very clean

We booked 2 rooms, upon arrival 1 room was perfect, the other had not been cleaned since previous visitors had been there. Owner was very apologetic and found a replacement room at a different guest house, which we really appreciated.

Great guest house. Would be perfect for a large group travelling together as you could make use of the lounge and kitchen. Was perfect for us , even though we didn't use these facilities. Central location , very quiet.

This was a surprise visit to see my daughter. We booked on very short notice with absolutely no issues whatsoever. The place was very well kept and clean with outstanding facilities. The beach was literally a 30 second walk from the front door, and access to town was exceptional. We will definitely book here again without a second thought.

No sea view, but honestly this didn't affect our stay in any way. Parking is limited to two cars at the front of the house but there is obviously street parking.

Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, had everything you needed in the kitchen. Truly felt like a home from home if only my home was this beautiful, I wouldn’t leave. Beach was a 2 minute walk, (not that we had the weather for it), shops, restaurants, bars all walking distance.

I only stayed for 1 night, but the bed was comfortable and the shower worked. It’s just around the corner from the beach and just 5 mins to the train station or pubs. The carpet in the halls upstairs and on the stairs is very high. Very comfortable to walk on and not noisy.

Everything - literally couldn’t fault a thing and couldn’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t provided.

The room and bathroom were very clean. It was nice to park in the free parking in front of the property and so close to the seafront and shops/restaurants.

The mattress looked quite high, which I like, but when you get into bed, you just sink into it. Too soft. And the pillows were uncomfortable. I didn't sleep great. However, this is my personal opinion, and others might find the mattress and pillows the comfiest they've ever slept in. You will never be able to please everyone
