Staff were amazing and helpful and would do anything for you. We liked the verandah. We felt comfortable like we were at home. We loved this hotel the best out of all places on our stay around Sri Lanka.

Tv didn’t work when we arrived but staff fixed when told. To let others know about the button in the bathroom to get warm water but warm water when we were informed.

It was very clean and all facilities were ere there . Staff very friendly and efficient and the breakfast was outstanding

The shower although very clean didn’t contain the water and bathroom was flooded after shower but water cleaned very quickly after it . Access road to property full of potholes but not fault of the property . Highly recommend this place

A very unique place. Beautifully designed and the whole place feels like home. The wood smell of the room was very calming. Very clean and the floor was even waxed so well. Arrangement to go to the Nine Arches was easy. And it’s not too far to even walk to the main town area. Breakfast was good as well

Das Zimmer war riesig und alles war noch neu. Das Personal war super aufmerksam und freundlich.

Es fehlte im Zimmer ein Safe und ein Haartrockner. Ein Haartrockner wurde mir später zum Zimmer gebracht. Beim Abendessen und Frühstück gab es lange Wartezeiten. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen aber etwas weit vom Zentrum.

Velmi pěkný moderní hotel mimo rušnou část Ella, která je dostupná tuk-tukem.

Díky dřevěné stavbě jsou slyšet zvuky zvenku, ale vyjma jednoho večera, kdy někdo v okolí slavil, byl klid. Večeře je k dispozici i na hotelu, ale zajímavější nabídka je v Ella.

Chambre de bonne taille style chalet, lit confortable, canapé sur la terrasse. Excellent restaurant, la cuisine est délicieuse, très bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel souriant et sympathique.

Un peu déçu par la vue, trop de constructions aux alentours. Besoin d'un tuktuk ou d'une voiture pour se rendre à Ella.

Nice stuff treatment, they upgraded to bigger room for free of charge. The staff in the restaurant were amazing. The breakfast was rich and testy.

The location was a bit far and the Tuk tuk charge more fir that specially at night.

One of the rooms, the water leaked out of the shower and into the washroom and there was alot of construction.

The rooms were very noisy you could hear people speaking in the next room. They said there was a hot tub but I think they meant a bath tub. Breakfast was underwhelming

The service was impeccable . The staff was very welcoming , always smiling and so accommodating. Loved the stay here and especially the hospitality from Mr. Shreef . Thank you .

Fresh, new rooms. The location is a bit out of town but they rent scooters for a very reasonable price so the location isn’t an issue at all. Friendly and extremely helpful staff.

El hotel tiene mucho encanto, con su estructura de madera. El desayuno es excelente y muy abundante. La cama muy cómoda. Aunque la ubicación está algo alejada del centro, merece la pena por la tranquilidad y el ambiente acogedor.

Por la noche saltaron los plomos varias veces y hacían mucho ruido, lo que no nos dejó descansar bien. Incluso llegamos a pensar que alguien tocaba a la puerta.

Personnel extraordinaire . Petit dejeuner excellent .. on choisit la veille tout ce qu on souhaite manger . Les chambres sont superbes .. on peut difficilement faire mieux . Je recommande +++

Mein Frühstück enthielt total verwurmte Tomaten. Das war dann dem Kellner recht peinlich und er hat sich entschuldigt. Aber das hätte vorher auffallen müssen. Mir hat das den Aufenthalt in diesem schicken Hotel versaut.

El ruido q venía de otras habitaciones al ser de madera es lo que tiene y q está a las afueras pero con un tuc tuc q te llaman por 1,5€ llegas al centro en un momento , pero todo genial

Ein super Hotel, sauber, sehr freundliches Personal. Nah an Ella (7 min mit dem TucTuc) dennoch sehr ruhig. Perfekt wenn man abends entspannen möchte und dem Trubel entkommen möchte. Die Ausstattung ist mordern und neu und das Zimmer wird täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und wird einem an den Tisch gebracht. Wir haben oft abends im Hotel gegessen und waren auch hier sehr zufrieden. Mit Abstand das beste Hotel, was wir bis jetzt in SriLanka hatten.

Die Zimmer und Bäder waren neu und sauber. Der Laundry Service war gut., das Restaurant- Personal sehr freundlich.

Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, die Wände sehr dünn. Man hört aus allen Zimmern (nicht nur aus dem Nachbarzimmer) jedes Wort! Auch fanden wir die Zimmer sehr dunkel. Am ersten Tag war um uns herum sehr viel Baustellenlärm verschiedener Baustellen. Beim Frühstück kam das am Tag zuvor ausgewählte Essen und die Getränke etwas planlos an den Tisch - täglich in verschiedener Reihenfolge und auch nicht das bestellte Getränk.

Отличный отель в центре Эллы. Новый, современный, свежий яркий дизайн отеля очень впечатлил. Очень свежее дыхание в номере и великолепное пение птиц по утрам. Понравился 3 там с видом на горы и поезд. У отеля нет обезьян и змей -то обрадовало нас. Мы ели отличный завтрак из гамбургера и омлета с грибами-очень вкусно, рекомендую. Ели ужин рыбу с морепродуктами и салат цезарь, тоже приятно. Рядом с отелем есть ландри и магазины.

В отеле не понравился огромный сервисный сбор 20$. Обратите внимание!!! В отеле нет бассейна!!!

Les chambres sont jolies et le personnel très gentil. Très propre.

L’hôtel est vraiment sur noté c’est une guest house améliorée. Très très très bruyant. Vous entendez toutes les autres chambres au dessus et à côté. Les travaux à côté de 7h du matin à 22h. La musique idem. Les gens qui arrivent à 3h du matin. On a passé 3 nuits chaotiques on avait hâte de changer d’hôtel pour pouvoir dormir. Dommage car il est mignon sinon.

Sehr warm und liebevoll eingerichtet. Vor jedem Zimmer gibt es Sofas zum relaxen. USB-Anschluss an den Betten vorhanden. Super Frühstück!

Zimmer sind sehr dunkel durch die kleinen Fenster. Sehr hellhörig, man hört jedes Geräusch vom Nachbarzimmer und auch vom Hotel nebenan! Etwas außerhalb von Ella.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was lovely to have the outside area by the rooms to be able to relax after a day exploring. We had meals here and found the selection of food and drinks great and food was always fantastic. We had our own tuktuk so found the location no worries. They were also fantastic at catering to our wee girl for meals / making adjustments for things she would eat. What really impressed us was the service from 1 particular person (I forgot to grab his name) he was outstanding - based in the restaurant down stairs but regularly checked on us while we sat outside and went above and beyond.

As others have mentioned there is noise from other rooms - it didn’t bother us personally while we were there but if they could find a way to reduce the noise honestly we couldn’t fault the place! Another nice to add but not massive would be a safe in the room :)

Lovely stay!! One of the highlights was how accommodating they were with our early schedule — we were heading out on a tour and needed breakfast at 5:30 AM, and they made sure it was freshly prepared and ready for us. The room was beautifully maintained and cleaned daily, which added to the comfort of our stay. We also appreciated the helpful local insights we received from the staff, including recommendations on what to see and do around Ella. The hotel itself is peaceful, stylish, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ella — especially for couples looking for a romantic and memorable stay.

Very clean hotel which is located a bit outside of Ella city. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the neighbours. However, it did not bother us much.

Nice, new and comfortable. We received a nice pot of tea every day when we returned in the afternoon.

It’s about 5/10 minutes by Tuk Tuk to Ella town. This wasn’t a problem for us as the hotel was able to ring a Tuk Tuk for us whenever we needed it.

We had an epic time here at this Luxury hotel. The location is perfect, away from the noise, pollution, crowd and tourists. The hotel staffs are extremely helpful and will assist all the way. Janitha was exceptionally genuinely helpful. The pillows are the best we ever had. I wish we could buy similar one. If you want to unwind and relax in a luxurious environment, then this is the hotel to stay. I would stay again if I ever come back to Sri Lanka/Ella.

As we arrived our room that we booked was not free and we need to use one night a hotel of a lower category. The manager gave us a dinner for free in their restaurant as compensation. If you book a hotel for a higher price then you exped this and not another one. The second night we were on our room then everything was fine. The menu of the restaurant has a lot of menu's but unfortunately the most one are not available.

Our guests enjoyed the stay. Only the hot water runs out quickly. Amazing food

Beautiful location and rooms, staff is very helpful and friendly- they helped us arrange a driver for a day cos us to sightsee more remote tourist spots in the area and were very accommodating of our needs. Daily room cleaning was very thorough

The walls in this hotel are very thin due to the nature of the building (made of wood) so in the morning we would hear kids crying or running around in the adjacent rooms which was a bit annoying but a minor inconvenience after all

Very nice new renovated hotel. The rooms are big, cozy and friendly with plenty of light. The restaurant serves very nice foods, and a very delicious breakfast. The staff is kind and serviceminded. One of the better places we have visited in Sri Lanka, we rec. to stay here.

The rooms is not sound prof., you can here the neighbors easily. The hotel is placed a bit from town in a not so easy accessible road, a pool area would have been very nice.

Nice setting with a good balcony with good views. No soundproofing so noisy. Food good but very slow service ( 50 mins wait ) whilst it was cooked. An easy tuk tuk ride into town - walkable if fit!

The only negative is there is no soundproofing and the hotel rooms are made of wood so you hear everything! To be fair it was not late at night but it would benefit from some rugs on floor to reduce noise. Also whilst we did change arrival date, the room we had booked was not available and were not informed until we arrived when it was to late etc our room was comfortable enough but not the ‘luxury’ room we hoped for

It's a bit far from the city center and you'll need a tuk-tuk to get in and out of town. It's totally fine, we just didn't realize we were staying a bit further out.

Loved the whole experience- amazing hotel design with great attention to interior detail . Views from the balcony where we were able to relax in comfort, gave us a true flavour of the environment. Customer service, particularly from Hemantha was first class and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Feel.

A uniquely wonderful and comfortable boutique hotel, The Feel is one of the best stays in Ella. Suneth the Resident manager, gave the warmest and most cordial welcoming upon arrival. This eco friendly hotel is impeccably clean and new, as they just opened up in August. The decor and overall feel of the hotel makes for a most comfortable and refreshing stay. I highly recommend The Feel to all travelers looking for a nice, comfortable stay that will definitely make a lasting impression! I cannot thank Suneth and barman Hemantha enough for their friendly and exceptional service!

Lovely staff who are happy to help with a anything! Rooms were clean and the breakfast was huge and outstanding.

They are new, so some parts are still being fixed. I suggest they have larger fans or a fly catcher near the restaurant. My pillow smelt funny. The road can be noisy in the morning.

That was a very good experience. The hotel’s manager and the team were so welcoming, with a “can do” approach to everything we were asking for. The facility is totally new and it was a great pleasure for us. The location is good and quite, with a great view, food was delicious, the hotel is very clean and we felt as if we would like to stay there for weeks😁
