The view from balcony was amazing. The host is very helpful. He helped me find bus apps to book bus from Ella to other destinations. The breakfast is also good.

Its away from Ella town and you need to climb 100 steps to reach the property as its on top.

I didn’t know we had to pay the room in cash, booking.com don’t take the payment and none of the correspondence told me. So make sure you have enough rupees!!

The property can only be accessed via a very long and steep set of steps (about 100 of them). So is absolutely out of the question for anyone with walking difficulties.

An incredible view through huge class doors and and big comfy beds

You look at the pictures and think this is too good to be true, then you arrive and realise the photos don’t do it justice. Absolutely beautiful location, walking distance from the main strip. Generous breakfasts and lovely hosts. Great all round experience!

İt is super clean and stuff is really friendly. I felt really safe and happy through out my stay. Also the view is amazing especialy when sun is rising!

It had a beautiful view where we could see sunrise, breakfast was served to the room , value for money, service was fantastic. In house transport could be arranged on request. Clean rooms and private balcony.

Distance from town was considerably long if walking.

Amazing view , simple breakfast , we stayed two nights and pleasant peak was a perfect place to reach all attractions.

There were steps to reach this hotel and no parking space. If you really love the view don't care about the steps. Washrooms need some maintenance.

Very bad location..no parking and no safety among the area...not recommended for any local tourists

The views were priceless, and the family’s hospitality was wonderful. I even had my laundry done here for LKR 700/kg, which was very convenient. The downside was the climb to the top, it felt like a workout and could get daunting at night. A price to pay for the view I suppose..

Wall fan’s swing function wasn’t working, had to manually turn it to the direction I wanted..

I honestly don’t even know how to describe this place — it was simply incredible. There were quite a lot of stairs, but they were absolutely worth it. The view and the feeling were breathtaking, like being at the top of nature itself. The people who run this place are truly wonderful. A beautiful family who made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. They had such a calm and peaceful energy — they were genuinely shining from within. It was a unique and unforgettable experience, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special

Номери нові, чисті. Гарний вид з вікна. Сніданок звичайний омлет, фрукти, хліб, маргарин.

Немає місця для паркування машини. Машину потрібно ставити на дорозі. Також не має облаштованої загальної зони для відпочинку. Круті сходи на верх, брудні, в землі, чисто тільки в номері, навкруги нічого не зроблено, гидко і брудно.Це чотири номери на території старого будинку. Тому тут не має фото цілого будинку.

Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und konnten flexibel auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingehen. (Frühstückszeit und Verlängerung des aufenthalts) Das Frühstück war einfach aber sehr lecker. Als wir ankamen gab es Nachmittagstee mit Keksen und und Bananen. Bei Bedarf kann man seine Wäsche waschen lassen und sie organisieren auch tuktuks. Etwas die straße hoch gibt ein paar nette Restaurants wenn man mal keine lust hat den weg runter zur Hauptstraße zu laufen.

Great hospitality by the owners, super clean room and amazing view! All supplies available, even hair dryer.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Besonders hat uns gefallen, dass das Frühstück direkt morgens zu einer abgesprochenen Zeit auf den Balkon gebracht wurde und wir bei einer wunderschönen Aussicht ein sehr leckeres Frühstück genießen konnten.

Das WLAN funktioniert leider nicht ganz so gut. Eventuell wäre es schön, wenn bei längerem Aufenthalt ab und zu die Mülleimer geleert werden könnten und Klopapier aufgefüllt wird.

uzasne jednoduche ubytovanie kde by som sa hned kedykolvek vratila. ano, je to dalej od centra a musite si vyslapat vela schodov (cca 15 min) ale tie vyhlady stoja za to. dobra wifi. mily personal, stedre a chutne ranajky. a v okoli boli fajn restiky kde nebolo mega vela turistov co bolo po celom dni velmi prijemne. urcite odporucam!

We loved this honesty, the whole family were so welcoming and met us with tea on arrival. The views are incredible over Ella rock and Little Adam’s peak. Our hosts provided us with transport in a tuctuk which was perfect. The room had everything you would need and The breakfast was amazing here looking over the views. We woke up early to watch the sunrise and were surprised with tea on the balcony it was just lovely. You can walk into town from this home stay which is ideal and on the way back up there was a set of staircases. This home stay was great.

Прекрасный вид, но немного мешает крыша переднего дома, рассвет/завтрак/температура в комнате/горячий душ/кровати прекрасны! Немного напрягла лестница, но без них в Элле никуда. На ужин ходили в соседний «ресторанчик» очень душевно/вкусно!

This is such a lovely homestay overlooking Ella. As others noted there are quite a few steps up to the property, but these are worth it for the views from the balcony. Shortly after we arrived they brought us a tray with tea and biscuits. The breakfast each morning was delicious. A super accommodating homestay. Would highly recommend!

Pleasant Peak to miejsce, do którego trzeba się trochę „wdrapać”, podejście pod górę i spora liczba schodów potrafią zmęczyć, ale widok na górze w pełni to rekompensuje. Panorama jest naprawdę spektakularna i zdecydowanie warta wysiłku. Gospodarze są niezwykle serdeczni i zaangażowani, każda nasza prośba była spełniana bez problemu, organizowali nam tuk-tuki, a także lekcję gotowania w niedalekiej odległości. Podczas naszego pobytu jedna z koleżanek obchodziła urodziny i mogliśmy liczyć na piękny gest, przygotowano tort oraz dekoracje.

Jedynym minusem była sporadycznie chłodna woda pod prysznicem, ale mimo tego to miejsce zdecydowanie warte polecenia, głównie za klimat, widok i autentyczną gościnność.

Widok mówi sam za siebie. Do obiektu trzeba wejść po 110 stopniach co nie było dla nas problemem, personel pomaga z bagażem, dostaliśmy dwa razy herbatę z herbatnikami, można siedzieć i podziwiać widok ;) zorganizowano nam wycieczkę na wodospad i transport do miasta

Никто не пишет, что отель находится на холме относительно центра Эллы и никто не пишет, что надо подниматься по достаточно крутой лестнице от дороги до отеля. В номере была сломана ручка двери туалета и были грязные одеяла; ночью было холодно, но мы укрывались своими пледами, а не пледами отеля. Номер вообще не соответствует фотографиям

Breakfast was excellent and the view was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely highly recommend - just be warned there are some steps up from the road to reach the property.

Nothing I didn’t like - but take note that there are quite a few steps up to the property from the road. The view with breakfast was worth it though! I used tuk tuks to get into town centre and back as quite a long steep walk.

The hotel is perched on the edge of a mountain, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks and a nearby waterfall. While the rooms are relatively simple, they come equipped with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable night. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink from the friendly staff, which was a thoughtful touch. The next morning, we enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast served by the same warm team, with the added bonus of being able to take in the stunning view from the balcony. Although just 2 km uphill from the crowded city center of Ella, the location is very quiet and relaxing.

The main drawback is the limited parking, which is only available on the public street below the property and can accommodate just two or three tuk-tuks. Additionally, there is a steep climb up to the hotel, which may pose a challenge for guests with disabilities or those with limited stamina. This aspect makes the property less accessible for some, despite its otherwise pleasant experience.

Walk is really tough and isolated from town. Takes 20+ min walking fast if you take stairs. 1-1.6km walk from town. 400lkr for tuktuk up hill

No one mentioned the fact that this property has 107 steps to climb to get to the property. People should be made known that there is no other way to get to the property without doing those stairs and if u are older or has a disability you will get stranded when u get there

le camere sono molto molto semplici, la cosa bella della struttura è sicuramente la vista perché è eccezionale. Inoltre la colazione la portano direttamente sul balcone.

Ci sono diversi gradini da salire per arrivare alla struttura che tra l’altro sono completamente al buio la notte, considerate questa cosa se avete valigie grandi

Делали ремонт в соседнем помещении и утром сверлили, что было неприятно. Других минусов не было, увидели то, что ожидали.

Las vistas son increíbles desde la terraza y el baño muy grande, además del personal muy agradables.

Hay que tener en cuenta que para llegar al alojamiento hay que subir muchísimos escalones, más de 100, y subir con las maletas es muy agotador, además pasas por una zona de obras que no da buena sensación. La habitación se veía sucia, las mantas estaban llenas de polvo y encontramos algún bicho. La habitación en general tenía bastantes bichos. Por otra parte, el desayuno el primer día estuvo muy bien, pero el segundo día la fruta la cortaron con el mismo cuchillo con el que habían cortado cebolla y sabía bastante mal. Por otra parte, para llegar al centro se tardan unos 20 min y es una cuesta muy pronunciada.

The trail to the homestay was a little bit difficult because the steep slope.

Location was great but missing information when booking, steep steps all the way up which we didn’t know about!! Will be good to communicate over the booking page just in case, we never know how fit people are to go up and down a feel times during the day!

Spektakularny widokiem że świetnym śniadaniem na tarasie. Przemiła obsługa Serdecznie polecam

Wspaniali gospodarze. Pomocni i uśmiechnięci. Widok z tarasu, jak i z lóżka przez wielkie oszklone okno warte jest każdych pieniędzy. Dzięki temu można pominąć wycieczkę na Little Adam's peak, bo tam widok jest słabszy (sprawdziliśmy). Śniadanie z tym widokiem to jest top. Do miasta można zejść pieszo w 10min, tuk tuk pod górę 500-600 rupi.
