Echt een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Stefania! De B&B ligt op zo'n 10 minuten lopen van Ortigia en is een heerlijke uitvalsbasis. De kamer is ruim, schoon en ziet er bovendien prachtig uit! In de ochtend zorgt Stefania zelf voor het ontbijt en zorgt dat het je aan niks ontbreekt. Ze maakt met iedereen een praatje en geeft tips die passen in je dagplanning. Zou dit zeker aanraden!

L'accueil, la chambre, la décoration, la terrasse pour le petit déjeuner. Chaque matin, des spécialités siciliennes à goûter. Le logement est bien situé pour se rendre à pied au centre historique de Syracuse. Le parking devant l'établissement est gratuit et si aucune place n'est disponible, il y a également un petit parking payant.

Très jolies chambres décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Stephanie est une passionnée du pays et donne de très bonnes recommandations. Elle est d’une bienveillance extraordinaire pour que ses hôtes soient le mieux possible. Le petit déjeuner était somptueux. Bref endroit à recommander 😊

Lovely, enthousiastic host who really puts her heart into it. We were not sure if we were going to be on time for the arrival (before 20.00) but this was no problem. Everything was sent to us for self check-in. The room was very modern, the breakfast was perfect, parking was easy to find in the neighbourhood.

Be aware there is a 15 min walk to the center of Ortigia, but there are a lot of dining places in the neighbourhood. We recommend Astrattu (2 min walk). Detail: As in a lot of Italian places, the toilet does not always flush properly.

Ma la vera chicca è stata, confermando quanto avevamo letto in merito nelle recensioni precedenti al nostro soggiorno, la proprietaria Stefy: una persona d’oro, accogliente, disponibile, simpatica, introspettiva, empatica e moderna, che anima l’esperienza nel suo b&b, lasciando il suo lato umano al soggiorno. Mette il cuore nel lavoro che fa e si vede: già a partire dall’ottima colazione dolce e salata.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, etwas außerhalb von Ortigia. Wenn man dort mit einem Mietwagen oder dem eigenen Auto übernachtet, kann das Parken in Ortigia ziemlich problematisch sein, da man außerhalb parken muss. Obwohl wir ein wenig herumfahren mussten, haben wir schließlich sogar einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Eingangstür gefunden. Stefania ist ein sehr offener und freundlicher Mensch und sorgt mit ihrer herzlichen Art sofort für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gepflegt, nach deutschen Standards und zudem geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, diese Unterkunft gewählt zu haben, und würden sie jederzeit wieder empfehlen.

Quel bonheur d'avoir pu séjourner dans cette belle chambre d'hôtes. Our stay at Ortigia’s Gate was truly perfect. The property is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, and one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Everything was immaculate, and it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. What made our stay even more special was the owner and host, Stefania. She is such a warm, vibrant, and genuinely beautiful person & it was an absolute pleasure meeting her. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every morning she prepared delicious breakfasts, made coffee for both myself and my partner, shared fantastic local recommendations, and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Everything about Ortigia’s Gate is exceptional, from the incredible hospitality and beautiful facilities to the perfect location. Thank you so much, Stefania. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity. When we return to Sicily, we won’t hesitate to stay with you again. We can’t recommend Ortigia’s Gate highly enough! 😊

Sinceramente, uno de los mejores alojamientos en los que he estado. La ubicación es perfecta para descubrir Ortigia a pie. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y muy bien cuidado. La habitación era cómoda, práctica y con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la estancia. Mención especial para Steffi, que fue absolutamente excepcional. Nos ayudó en todo momento, nos facilitó información muy útil sobre la zona y nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer día. También destacamos la comunicación, la atención al detalle, las facilidades para la llegada y salida, y la sensación de estar alojadas en un lugar gestionado con cariño y profesionalidad. Si volvemos a Siracusa, volveríamos sin ninguna duda.

Pokoje super, tv jest, internet jest. Śniadanie słodkie, niewielkie w porównaniu do innych noclegów, ale wystarczające na rozpoczęcie dnia. W pokoju jest klimatyzacja i wiatrak pod sufitem. Właścicielka super. Poza tym wszystko super, cisza, spokój. W pobliżu można parkować wzdłuż ulicy lub jest parking kryty 25 EUR za dobę (lepiej tam, aby auto się nie należało).

Nie wiem czy to normalne, ale w naszym pokoju tylko z prysznica leciała zimna woda, w zlewie była ciepła. Druga sprawa to toaleta - do sedesu nie można wyrzucać papieru toaletowego, tylko do małego kosza obok.

The room and breakfast area have been recently renovated with very nice modern decor. It was very roomy and nice and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely.

The B & B was a little difficult to find with Google Maps. So maybe some instructions would help and also a sign with the name out the front of the building. We actually walked past the building twice looking for it because there was no sign. Also there is no lift and the room is up a long flight of stairs making it difficult with a heavy case.

Perfect Location. The Host, Stefania is amazing. The breakfast with lil presents individual to the wishes of the guest. Also gave us amazing Restaurant and Location tipps. The rooms are stylish, comfy and clean. Only 10min walk to Ortigia. Overall 10/10. If we ever are in Siracusa again we will be here again

Stefania è una padrona di casa estremamente gentile, calorosa e super accogliente: ci ha fatto sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. Un punto di forza è senza dubbio la colazione: ogni mattina Stefania porta specialità tipiche siciliane fresche, permettendo agli ospiti di assaporare i veri sapori della Sicilia. Perfect location, just a short walk from the historical centre. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. You can really tell they genuinely care about their guests and want everyone to have the best possible experience. Highly recommended!

Super séjour dans l’établissement de Stefania. Très bon emplacement (15min à pied de la porte de Ortigia et 20min à pied du parc archéologique), parking gratuit juste devant le logement. Arrivée autonome possible. Très belle décoration, logement très confort. Petit déjeuner sicilien en terrasse avec une volonté de nous faire découvrir chaque matin des spécialités différentes. Enfin, une hôte d’une douceur et d’une gentillesse inégalables. De très bons conseils, aux petits soins pour que nos vacances se déroulent à merveille. We loved the location of the property being within easy walking distance from Ortigia. There is free parking on the street outside and the property is easy to get to by car. It’s also an easy walk from the train station. Stefanie the hostess was fantastic and provided great communication as well as really tasty traditional breakfasts on the terrace. She also gave great recommendations for places to eat, drink and visit during our stay.

Beautiful accommodation in a great location, right next to the train station, making it very convenient if you're traveling by train. Ortigia is just a few minutes' walk away. The host was incredibly kind, gave us many helpful recommendations, and served a delicious breakfast.

La gentillesse et les attentions de Stefania qui a été vraiment adorable avec nous et notre petite fille qu'elle a choyée. L'emplacement était parfait, nous avons pu nous garer en bas de l'immeuble et la chambre était confortable et au calme. Stefania nous a prêté serviettes et parasol pour la plage et nous a immédiatement envoyé des conseils par messages pour les restaurants par exemple. Elle nous a fait découvrir les spécialités locales au petit déjeuner, a été présente tout en étant discrète, bref ! Parfaite !

Ortigia's gate ist die Adresse in Syrakus, wenn man eine wunderschön, stylish eingerichtete Unterkunft in Gehdistanz zur Altstadt sucht. Zudem ist Stefania eine sehr herzliche, zuvorkommende Gatgeberin. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist sehr fein und jeden Morgen frisch von Stefania beim lokalen Bäcker eingekauft.

Semplicemente tutto. La struttura è un palazzo storico e le camere sono arredate con grande gusto e impreziosite da meravigliosi quadri realizzati dal marito della signora Stefania. La posizione è ottima a circa 10 minuti a piedi da ortigia. L’accoglienza è stata perfetta e ricca di consigli. Stefania ci ha accolto come a casa, con una colazione squisita con prodotti selezionati della zona. Consigliatissimo!

Fantastic spacious room and bathroom. Lovely balcony and shared terrace. Really good location between the Neapolis and Ortigia. We were able to park in the street for free. Stefania was extremely kind and accommodating and she provided a lovely breakfast.

This has to be one of the nicest places that I've ever stayed. And I have to say that the hospitality from the owner, Stephania was second to none. This is a very small and intimate B&B. Very quiet, very private. A lovely terrace for breakfast. Coffee on tap and pastries every morning. I will definitely be going back to Ortigia's Gate. Thank you Stefy!

Stafania was the most amazing host who made us feel like family! The accomodation was beautifully clean and quirky we loved it! Stefania ist eine total herzliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind groß, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist ein absolutes Highlight! Stefania hatte uns vorab gefragt, ob wir lieber süß oder herzhaft essen möchten und war für uns morgens extra bei einem lokalen Bäcker. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Syrakus zu erkunden. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Stefania ist eine ganz herzliche Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns super lieb empfangen und uns jeden morgen ein leckeres Frühstück zubereitet. Das B&B ist einzigartig, sehr schön gestaltete Räume. Alles am Design passt perfekt zusammen und gibt beim ankommen ein "Wow-Gefühl". Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Syrakus, Ortigia und die Orte drum herum sind wunderschön und voller Überraschungen.

Stefania è molto professionale, ma allo stesso tempo sa anche farti sentire a casa con piccole attenzioni, come le colazioni, diverse ogni mattina e prese in un laboratorio artigianale di pasticceria. Preziosissimi i suoi consigli sui locali in cui mangiare e sulle escursioni da fare. Stanza spaziosa, luminosa, pulita, arredata con gusto, il tutto ad un prezzo molto accessibile. Uno dei migliori soggiorni che abbia mai fatto. Saluti da Maria Teresa e David.

Tijdens onze rondreis door Sicilië hebben wij een overnachting gehad in deze prachtige B&B. We werden ontzettend vriendelijk ontvangen door Stefania en ze leidde ons rond in haar mooie B&B. Wat een prachtige schone ruime kamer met heerlijk bedden. De badkamer is ook prachtig, ruim en schoon. Het ontbijt is buiten op het terras en erg luxe. De locatie is perfect net buiten het drukke centrum, fijn om daar naartoe te wandelen. Stefania is echt een lieve gastvrouw, ontzettend vriendelijk. Bedankt voor alles en lieve groetjes van ons! Extra tip (aanrader van Stefania) was het restaurant om de hoek Ristorante Fuori Ortigia, daar hebben wij hemels gegeten! Durante il nostro tour della Sicilia, abbiamo pernottato in questo splendido B&B. Siamo stati accolti con immensa gentilezza da Stefania, che ci ha mostrato la sua bellissima struttura. Che camera meravigliosa: pulita, spaziosa e con letti comodissimi. Anche il bagno è splendido, ampio e pulito. La colazione viene servita all'aperto sulla terrazza ed è davvero di lusso.
