Im 6'1, 240, and though it is workable, the shower is snug to say the least. It is simple, clean and serviceable, but would never be accused of being luxurious.

We had a bedroom, lounge/kitchen and bathroom with washer dryer which was great as travelling for 4 weeks. We sat out on chairs eating dinner and sipping wine to watch sunset over the sea. Close to historic Powell River townsite and drive north to Lund (end of the road) and short drive into Powell River for shopping and ferry to Vancouver Island.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026The peace and quiet and the lovely art sure made us feel at home. Nestled in the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The wonderful ocean and lovely hikes were close at hand. We were greeted with amazing friendliness... we would definitely be back for sure. We simply had an amazing time staying at Inge's serene art studio.

The apartment is cool and quirky (Inge is an artist I think) with a surprisingly expansive view of the ocean from the large bay windows. 10 minute walk to all the nifty stuff in Townsite (brewery, market, theatre etc). We would definitely like to stay again.

Reviewed May 3, 2025Beautifully appointed cottage-like studio in the historic Townsite part of Powell River. Good for walking to restaurants nearby. Inge has managed to fit everyone you could think of in this space - including a corner for making your own artistic creations. We slept well in the comfy bed.
It wasn’t clear where to park but a phone call sorted that out!

Reviewed Jan 1, 2025Inge was a very thoughtful host. I was staying at her suite over the Christmas holidays while visiting my kids in town. Inge decorated the suite for Christmas, and made me feel right at home. She promptly replied to messages when I had questions. The suite was clean. I am very sensitive to the smell of cleaning product chemicals. I found that the suite was pleasantly unscented. The location is handy. My children live in the center of town. But it only took about 10 minutes to travel to the suite.
The only thing I would have liked was a small tv so I could watch a show before bed. But, I was just forced to read which is better for my brain anyways :)

The place was too furnished! There was furniture everywhere! Too many decorative elements. It was difficult to find a place to put my things. There were a lot of restrictions in the place with several rules posters. I had to open the curtains during the day! I admit that I didn't really understand why! The whole time I stayed in this place, it was impossible to feel at home! I really had the feeling that I was staying at someone's house and that they could come in at any time to see if the place was ok in my absence! It's a shame because there is a very beautiful view of the ocean!

Nothing. It seems to be a fairly new air bnb business so the only suggestion we made was having some oil available for cooking and would add having some salt & pepper. For the price, this place is outstanding. Inge offers a comfortable & beauitful stay whilst in Powell River

You need a car or need to take the bus to get to restaurants and stores of Powell River.
