Reviewed Aug 9, 2026La ubicación es muy buena porque estaba céntrica y muy accesible a todo y al metro. La habitación muy buena para los 3, espaciosa y con baño privado. Nos dejaron dejar las maletas en recepción después de dejar la habitación, fue un gran favor ya que nuestro tren salía a la tarde. Los anfitriones simpáticos y serviciales.
Las almohadas eran un poco incómodas y he echado de menos que hubiera una mini neverita para poder guardar las botellas de agua en época de verano. El ruido de noche un poco incómodo pero contábamos con él.

Habitación interior ,a patio con aparatos de aire acondicionado ruidoso. Segundo piso sin ascensor (que no se menciona en ningún momento). Salvo a una empleada que vi limpiando una habitación, no he visto más empleados por ninguna parte: el último día quise despedirme y fui a recepción (a las 10:45h ) y no había nadie y tampoco se le debía esperar en breve porque la ventanilla estaba cerrada y sin ningún aviso.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Great accommodation in a perfect location, super easy to get to anywhere from here, the metro was only a five minute walk away and there are so many nice restaurants and bars around. Instructions on how to get into the building and check in were sent to me the before arriving and it was super straight forward to follow. The gentleman who greeted me on arrival was very friendly and helpful, I saw him at another point during my stay and he made sure to check I was ok and had everything I needed still. The room was small but it had everything I needed, even air conditioning which was perfect as the weather was very warm during my stay.
The bed was very creaky, every time I moved even slightly it made a lot noise - that would be my one and only complaint.

Lieu proble et conviviable. Proche des transports , de la vile et du metro et bus. Quel bel albiance lz Calle de la cruz. On peut meme voir du flamenco , manger et danser à proximitè. C'etzit courw mais agréable.

Hay algo que no me gustó. Pero NO ES CULPA del Hostal. Justo debajo una Sala de fiestas. Y la juventud, en vez de disfrutar dentro, salen a la calle y bullicio de todo tipo hasta las 6h. PERO, si no puedes con el enemigo, únete a él. Desde las 3 h , hasta las 6 h. Salí al balcón. Y disfruté junto con mi mujer , del ambiente de esa Gran calle , De la Cruz. Todo tipo de personas y circunstancias , que nos entretuvo al máximo. Y al despertar , Genial. Tranquilidad, movimiento , paseos... A PESAR DE ESE TEMA , MUY GUAY.

1. sunt niste HOTI si BULLIES ! M-au inselat cu 502,9 Euro, bani pe care nu mi i-au restituit nici pana in prezent. Eu m-am prezentat in persoana la cazarea CH CRUZ, am respectat toate conditiile impuse de ei (adica : am facut check-in online in prealabil; i-am anunat de la aeroport ca sunt pe drum si ca ajung inainte de ora 23, am ajuns la ei, inainte de ora 23) dar in momentul in care am vazut camera de single mult mai mica decat era afisat pe site-ul Booking si le-am atras atentia ca ei inseala Booking si clientii Booking, afisand cu totul alte poze (poze panoramice) decat cele care le au ei in realitate, mi-au refuzat cazarea spunandu-mi ca „Nu ar trebui sa ma cazez” si m-au lasat in drum, fara cazare, noaptea la ora 23, desi eu le platisem cazarea 502,9 Euro, integral. Este în regulă că ei nu au dorit să mă mai cazeze la ei pentru ca nici eu nu m-as fi simtit in siguranta cu astfel de gazde bully, de cosmar (vezi poza cu urarea lor de Craciun ce mi-au facut-o dupa ce m-au lasat in drum, fara cazare), insa CH CRUZ trebuie să îmi returneze banii înapoi integral, deoarece : eu nu am stat la ei, la CH Cruz, nu m-au cazat acolo, nu le-am consumat utilități, nu am consumat electricitate, căldură, apă caldă, apă rece sau wifi, ei ne-avînd nicio cheltuială cu cazarea mea pe care eu le-am plătit-o lor pentru ZERO servicii de cazare. Deci, eu NU AM BENEFICIAT DE SERVICIILE HOTELIERE ALE CH CRUZ pentru ca desi, am facut check-in online in prealabil si am platit integral suma pentru 6 nopti de cazare, gazdele de la CH CRUZ mi-au refuzat cazarea, lasandu-ma pe holul etajului 2, cu bagaje, in plina noapte la ora 23. 2. sunt niste bully si niste mincinosi pentru ca inseala atat Booking (afisand pe site-ul Booking, poze panoramice ale unor camere care in realitate sunt mici si intunecoase; am fost acolo si le-am vazut cu proprii mei ochi) cat si clientii prin aceasta practica mincinoasa, inducand clientii si site-ul Booking in eroare. I was able to walk to major tourist attractions, with Plaza Mayor just steps away, along with shops, restaurants, nightlife, and the metro. Before my arrival, the front desk reached out through Booking.com to confirm my check-in time, which I appreciated. The room was clean, quiet, and included an ensuite bathroom, TV, and AC. The blackout blinds and security screen also helped block out light from the window. While the room was compact with a single bed, it was a comfortable size for a solo traveller. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe throughout my stay. Although I purchased a metro card, I barely needed to use it because of the central location. I would definitely stay at CH Cruz again and will keep it in mind for future trips to Madrid.
My only feedback would be around simplifying the information provided before arrival, especially regarding the address, directions, and contact numbers. There was a lot of information to go through, so it was difficult to quickly identify the key details needed to access the property. One evening, my phone died and I was unable to get into the building because I only had the entry code saved on my phone and hadn’t memorized it. I think having a physical key, backup access option, or remote assistance to buzz guests in would be very helpful, especially since the front desk is not available 24/7.

La posizione è davvero perfetta, ideale per chi vuole visitare il centro della città e muoversi comodamente a piedi. Un ringraziamento speciale a Louis, il ragazzo che lavora nella struttura: è stato gentilissimo, molto disponibile e sempre pronto ad aiutare.
L’unico aspetto negativo riguarda l’insonorizzazione delle camere. Purtroppo si sentono molti rumori, sia dalle persone che entrano ed escono durante la notte, sia dalle camere vicine. Per questo motivo il riposo non è stato dei migliori.

The photos definitely made the place look nicer than it actually was. The water also wouldn’t get warm and even after it was supposedly fixed, it still wasn’t. The room was very cramped and a suitcase couldn’t be opened on the floor. There was also an insane amount of stairs which were hard to get up with a suitcase.
