Ocean Green Eco Lodge

Wow what a place! It must be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! That view with the infinity pool is just stunning! Especially at sunset. I loved being in nature. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful! Salamat!

De plek is een parel, het uitzicht zo mooi en de tuin idem, goed onderhouden en er zit een visie achter met de moestuin en de keuken van het resort. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en zijn goed geholpen bij het regelen van de tours. Huisjes zijn fijn. Degelijk gebouwd, op palen waardoor minder last van insecten, gebouwd van bamboe en daardoor qua temperatuur lekker (geen AC maar heb het nooit te warm gehad in de nachten). De veranda van de huisjes geeft een mooi uitzicht en de mogelijkheid om even rustig te zitten. De gastvrijheid en de keuken verdienen extra aandacht, de gerechten zijn goed bereid, naast traditionele Filipijnse gerechten en westers eten ook erg leuke combinaties binnen vegan vega en vlees / vis. Na bijna 4 weken Filipijnen kan ik zeggen dat deze plek de winnaar is qua koken. Al het personeel was vriendelijk en bevlogen om deze plek mooier te maken binnen een hele fijne sfeer.

Douche wil niet altijd warm worden (lauw douchen vaak ook lekkerder)

Es un lugar mágico, con mucha energía dentro de un paraíso natural con unas vistas impresionante.Comida exquisita y muy natural, ya que está rodeado de árboles frutales, verduras etc Te proporcionan todo lo que necesitas, excursiones, transportes… con una amabilidad insuperable. Lo recomiendo al 100% si quieres pasar unos días en el paraíso

My family and I had such a wonderful stay! We loved the bahay kubos (huts), they were clean and comfortable. Not too hot at night due to being in the mountains, and we loved the pool and restaurant area as well. The view is amazing and so peaceful. The food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Shout out to Charis, who was so helpful in helping me coordinate transportation from the PP airport and to El Nido, as well as setting up the Underground River tour for us. She was very easy to communicate with prior to our trip via email. Shout out to the kitchen staff as well! I recommend that anyone who wants to see the underground river stay here rather than Puerto Princesa, especially if you plan to continue on to El Nido afterwards. Thank you to everyone at Ocean Green!

Vriendelijk personeel Elk huisje heeft mooi uitzicht. Zwembad is heerlijk met uitzicht over het land Bedden zijn schoon en matras is prima. Prima menu waar je uit kunt kiezen.

Viel niet tegen voor ons, wij hadden een auto,maar ligt wat afgelegen.

The hotel is lovely, the pool is absolutely stunning and perfect for sunset. Such a relaxing location and a real family feel with the staff. The garden which you can walk around is also really interesting. We also had an issue with one of the excursions which the staff managed to then sort for us which was really appreciated.

The location is remote so just bare this in mind before coming, you wouldn’t be able to go to other restaurants or shops without a scooter or taxi. Would be good to have some extra Su beds around the pool as there isn’t that many compared to people staying.

Le cadre est magnifique avec une vue imprenable. Les lodges sont super confortables et parfaitement équipées.

Au petit déjeuner, on reçoit une mini assiette de fruits. Ça fait un peu radin. C’est le seul endroit aux Philippines où nous sommes tombés malades avec la nourriture. L’établissement étant géré par un français, on aurait pu espérer que l’hygiène en cuisine était en rendez-vous…

Magnifique hébergement ! La cabane, le cadre, la vue, le restaurant, tout est sublime. J'ai bien aimé l'emplacement loin du tourisme, près de la jungle et l'underground river qui est splendide. Personnel très agreable. L'excursion dans la jungle avec George était géniale.

Très bel hôtel, intimiste et bien situé. Le personnel était très à l’écoute et disponible. La nourriture est excellente !

La literie était un peu dure et la fixation de la moustiquaire est à ajuster pour éviter de tomber sur le lit.

The pool and sunsets were the main attraction. The restaurant was good but you must know the seafood is all frozen so rather tasteless

Comfort . All furniture made from bamboo . Tables so low you could not put your legs under when dinning . Also the rooms are bare minimal . One chair on our tiny balcony made of bamboo but with no cushions. It’s ok for one night but after 4 nights I had a back ache . Trying to find somewhere comfortable to relax was impossible. Due to my husband being unwell there was a bit of time in the resort . Also don’t book your tours through the resort . Too expensive! For the underground river just book transfer or hire a motor bike then book yourself at the jetty . Also it’s a non refund policy . Was very disappointed in the organisation of the tour we stood around waiting for hours . 😞

Tout ! Dès notre arrivé le cadre et la vue sont superbes. Tout est bien pensé. Le hall d'entrée fait à la fois restaurant, avec les cuisine semi ouverte et qui donne sur la piscine à débordement et sur la mer. En contrebas les cabanes en bambou sur pilotis typiques avec de belles finitions , avec un équipement minimaliste mais très bien pensés Les couchers de soleil sont incroyables, avec la piscine c est magique Le lodge est à 30 minutes de Sabang. Nous avions fait le choix de pas rester à Porto Princessa et de privilégier cet endroit pour nous dépayser et nous rapprocher de la rivière souterraine et ce fut un excellent choix dépaysement total. Un Havre de paix et de silence Le restaurant est simplement excellent et cuisine la plupart de ces fruits et légumes de son propre jardin situé en contrebas. Il propose une carte assez variée avec des plats occidentaux et très bien travaillé et bien sûr des plats typiques et réalisés avec finesse. Pour avoir fait 3 jours à 4 nous avons testé de nombreux plats et tout été excellent, probablement la meilleure carte de nos 2 semaines aux Philippines. Légèrement un plus cher qu ailleurs mais la cuisine est excellente en rapport avec le prix Le site est très calme et quand même particulièrement idéal pour les couples où les familles très calmes. nous avions deux enfants de 7 et 14 ans et il a fallu un petit peu les canaliser car le silence est de mise exemple interdit de sauter dans la piscine mais si l'on respecte les règles tous passe très bien Notre coup de cœur des vacances

Pas grand choses, simplement la contre-partie du lodge aussi paisible et reposant est un peu délicate pour les enfants qui souhaite s exprimer.

Nothing major but the water in the shower is either cold or extremely hot and another small thing is that Charis is amazing and super nice and friendly but other staff members were less smiley. But it’s really not that big deal. Our experience there was great and we would definitely stay there again if we return.

The ocean green eco lodge is a beautiful property on the road to Sabang about 20 minutes from the underground river. All the villas have stunning views across the jungle and sea. The pool is lovely. They grow all their own produce and use it in the restaurant. The food is very good. 10/10

The setting with the view of the bay and the gardens are spectacular, food is really good, staff very good. The bungalows are basic but charming, all made of bamboo, fan only, hot shower, mosquito nets on every bed. A relaxing, quiet place.

Because of how the bungalows are built there are lots of gaps in the floor and the walls don’t meet the ceiling, therefore at night it was quite cold just with a sheet. We asked for a blanket but they don’t have any, we got an extra sheet to add on top but it wasn’t enough. Excursion to the underground river was expensive so we did it ourselves renting a scooter from them.

Beautiful hotel, the pool overlooking the forest and ocean is perfection. It is remote so doesnt have air conditioning but the rooms had fans which kept us cool enough. The food at the restaurant was lovely, would definitely recommend staying here. The best place we have stayed in the philippines so far!

Underbar upplevelse! Vackra och genuina hus, vacker trädgård och en oförglömlig utsikt och omgivningar. Poolen är fantastisk. Väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig personal, och fantastisk mat från de egna odlingarna. Vi deltog i två utflykter som de anordnade , Isla Rita med snorkling och en vandring till grottan Daylight Hole, båda väldigt fina och oförglömliga upplevelser. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Posto magnifico, immerso nella natura. Personale veramente disponibile e gentile, cottages pulitissimi, cibo ottimo! A soli 30 minuti dall’underground river, per me imperdibile se si viene a Palawan… insomma, tutto perfetto e assolutamente consigliato! Avessi saputo prima che il posto era così favoloso, sarei rimasta qualche notte in più.

Fantastic! We loved it, we had an amazing 3 nights. Incredible views, amazing food, and we loved the bamboo cottage balcony. Everyone is nice and helpful and everything works well, the tour organisation, transfers, the pick up from airport..etc. As vegetarians that love organic food, we loved the organic garden they have with their fruits and veggies! 100% recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful and healthy stay in the jungle. It’s also very convenient for the subterranean river. Obviously, you need to be okay with insects as it’s in the jungle.

A true oasis above the hills of Sabang. In the most stunning location, with a very welcoming and chilled vibe. We met the French owner of the lodge who was lovely and really committed to being “green” in all ways. The manager Cherise was delightful and could not be more helpful. The food was delicious and all freshly cooked. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Wir wurden am Flughafen von einem Shuttle abgeholt, den wir im Vorhinein beim Hotel über Booking angefragt hatten. Das hat problemlos funktioniert. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Nirgendwo, perfekt um mitten in der Natur zu entspannen! Die Bungalows sind sehr schön eingerichtet und jedes einzelne hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf ein Wald voller Palmen und auf das Meer weiter hinten. WLAN hat überall sehr gut funktioniert! Wir haben über das Hotel eine Tour zum Underground River gebucht. Sehr weiterzuempfehlen! Auch das Restaurant hat uns sehr überzeugt. Große Essensauswahl, vor allem auch an vegetarischen Speisen. Wir konnten für nach unserem Aufenthalt problemlos über die Rezeption ein Shuttle nach El Nido buchen.

Man schläft quasi mitten in der Natur - also sollte man sich auf das ein oder andere Tier einstellen. Wenn man damit ein Problem hat, ist die Unterkunft evtl. nicht für einen gemacht (Man schläft auch wie auf den Bildern gezeigt unter Moskitonetzen) :)

J’ai séjourné dans cet établissement pendant deux nuits. À mon arrivée, un orage battait son plein, mais cela ne m’a pas empêchée de profiter de mon séjour. L’hôtel est assez isolé, mais tout est disponible sur place. Le restaurant était excellent et le personnel très accueillant. Le calme était impressionnant, on avait vraiment l’impression d’être en pleine jungle. En revanche, il manquait quelques équipements dans la chambre : pas de bouilloire, ni de café ou tisane, il fallait sortir pour demander de l’eau chaude. Côté salle de bain, pas de brosse à dents ni de kits jetables habituellement proposés. De plus, l’eau chaude de la douche était quasi inexistante. À part ces détails, tout était vraiment parfait et j’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour.

Mai trovato del cibo migliore in tutta l’Asia! Dalla colazione alla cena abbiamo sempre mangiato benissimo, spaziando da colazioni occidentali (I pancakes ottimi) a tipicità asiatiche (pollo al curry e samosa roll degni di nota). Personale molto accogliente e piscina a sfioro con vista meravigliosa.

Niente di particolare se non che alle h.21:30 bisogna andare in camera.
