Der Gastgeber Helio ist sehr nett und achtet auf jedes Detail, damit sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Er ist einer der besten Gastgeber, die wir in all den Jahrzehnten erlebt haben. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit, direkt vom Gastgeber ein Auto zu mieten, was unglaublich praktisch ist. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Perfektně vybavené ubytování, jako bonus nám příjemný pán hostitel naplnil ledničku domácím máslem, sýrem, džemy, byly i nápoje (mléko, pivo, nealko, džusy aj.) Poradil nám, které místa na ostrově máme navštívit. Popis tras po ostrově byly vyhotoveny v češtině. Vše doporučují.

Todo perfecto. El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario, muy limpio, ubicación perfecta, aparcamiento en la puerta.. no se puede pedir más. Hélio un anfitrión de 10, sin él, el viaje no habría sido lo mismo. Te hace sentir como en casa. Rutas al detalle, nos enviaba por WhatsApp ubicaciones para aparcar y llegar a los sitios, recomendaciones para comer, atento en todo momento. Muy bien planificado para que disfrutes de la isla por zonas. Nuestra próxima visita a la isla será con Helio seguro!! Gracias por todo de parte de Vicente y Nieves desde Valencia!

Un peu long du centre à pied pour sortir le soir, mais faisable en une vingtaine de minutes

Hélio ha sido un anfitrión maravilloso. Es amable, y tiene una atención al detalle increíble. La nevera estaba llena de productos locales y de buena calidad, la casa estaba limpia. Ademasnos dio muchísimos consejos de qué visitar en la isla y estuvo pendiente de que estuviéramos lo más cómodo posible. Sin duda, uno de los mejores sitios en los que hemos estado jamás, insuperable, ni siquiera un hotel puede llegar a este nivel. Además, la localización es óptima: está cerca del centro para ir andando, tiene mucho espacio para aparcar, y está al lado de las salidas a la carretera.

Helio, el dueño, es un encanto. Es sin lugar a dudas la mejor experiencia que podéis encontrar en Ponta Delgada. El apartamento está totalmente equipado, con cosas que incluso ni nos habíamos acordado de llevar de casa. Hay buen aparcamiento, terraza para las cosas mojadas. Además, alquila su propio coche y viene a recogerte del aeropuerto, parece tan bueno que al principio dudábamos de la veracidad de que existiera. Pero no, resultó ser real y además ha hecho que nuestro viaje sea completamente redondo. ¡Totalmente recomendado! Si volvemos será con él y Lyra 🐈‍⬛ ¡Muy agradecidas!

We were upgraded to a different room, so my review is related to another apartment not shown in the pictures. It was a wonderful stay - big spacious apartment with two separate beds (my mattress was amazing and I'd recommend it to any people with back problems as it was nice and firm). The apartment was sparkling clean (we could eat off of those floors), it was packed with anything we could possibly need and had so much food it covered all of our breakfasts. The location is super convenient, there are mosquito nets and blackout blinds on all the windows. Helio is an amazing host, and made so much effort to make us feel welcomed (we even had a welcome sign with our names and a welcome note in Ukrainian - how amazing is that?)

Our host Helio was amazing !! Such a kind and accommodating man that looked after us during our week long stay. His place is spotless and the location and attention to detail is hard to explain. The well stocked fridge full of fruit , yoghurt , cheese, bacon and eggs, fresh bread and even beer !!

We wished Lira the cat could have visited more often. Lol

Estancia perfecta!! Helio, al que ya considero un amigo, nos recibió amablemente con una sonrisa característica y nos hizo sentir desde el primer momento como de su familia. Al alojamiento no le faltó detalle, tenía de todo lo imaginable y lo inimaginable. La vivienda destaca por una limpieza absoluta, en la cama dormimos como en una nube. Respecto a la ubicación hay una distancia de 15 minutos del centro pero se hace un paseo agradable porque es llano practicamente. En definitiva un alojamiento del 10 con un servicio inmejorable. La cercanía de Helio y su atención a cada detalle han hecho que estos días hayan sido realmente especiales para nosotros. Gracias Helio por tu generosidad incluso por prepararnos una ruta de la cual disfrutamos de lo lindo!!. Nos llevamos recuerdos maravillosos de este viaje y, sobre todo, el cariño de haberte conocido. Un abrazo!!

Ras. Juste un peu loin du centre

Noch nie war ich in so einer tollen Unterkunft mit einem super Vermieter. Ich habe mich vom ersten Moment direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Hélio war vor, während und auch jetzt nach der Reise einfach super und familiär. Aber dennoch wurde mir meine Privatsphäre gewährt.

Hélio is such a wonderful person, a true professional, who cares deeply for his guests. We travel a lot, but this is the first accomodation where we encounter such care, warmth and kindness from a host. Our stay was very comfortable, Hélio provided us with very useful information and route suggestions that made our travels around the island super easy, the apartment had everything we needed and so much more, even welcome snacks and breakfast. We will recommend Hélio’s place to everyone coming to São Miguel. Thank you! :)

Our host Hélio was fantastic. Before arriving he sent a booklet of tour suggestions. These included notes on points of interest, suggested order to see places and GPS map location details. Hélio does tours himself but as we had hired a car he was happy for us to use the information he’d provided for ourselves. We had 4 nights and 3 full days on the island so followed 3 of his tour suggestions. We saw sights we would not have seen without his guidance. The studio had everything you needed and was very comfortable. There wasn’t a washing machine but he even offered to wash our clothes… which was really helpful. We found the location of the studio was ideal. It was about a 20 min walk to the centre of town but easy to drive onto the main motorway, and only 7 mins from airport. As a welcome he had left us food such as bread, cheese, yogurts etc.. We didn’t need to go to the supermarket which was really helpful. Advice for others staying - we hired a car from airport and had to wait in a long queue for nearly an hour to pick up keys. You can hire a car from Hélio or use his services as a driver for the tours. We had already arranged car hire before we knew this but it would have saved us time.

Gospodarz, który uczynił nasz urlop wspaniałym wydarzeniem jest najmocniejszym punktem tego obiektu. Hélio zadbał o każdy szczegół naszego pobytu, począwszy od planowania wyjazdu (wynajem auta, rekomendacje dotyczące atrakcji do zobaczenia, restauracji, sklepu) po ciepłe powitanie na lotnisku i objaśnienie szczegółów na miejscu. Gospodarz jest bardzo kontaktowy, chętnie służy pomocą zarówno przed przyjazdem jak i w jego trakcie. Każda z rekomendacji, którą dał nam Hélio, okazała się strzałem w 10! Niesamowita osoba, która dba o wszystko podczas Twojego pobytu. Obiekt jest w cichej okolicy, blisko lotniska, centrum miasta i wyjazdu na autostrady co czyni go niezwykle atrakcyjnym jeśli planujesz zwiedzać wyspę autem. Pod apartamentem jest zawsze wolne miejsce parkingowe. Kwatera jest czysta i wyposażona dosłownie we wszystko, włącznie z przyborami kuchennymi. Gospodarz przygotował dla nas pełną lodówkę na początek naszego pobytu, jak również inspirował nas lokalnymi przysmakami co było niezwykle miłe. Jest dostępny taras, jeśli chcesz skorzystać z suszarki na ubrania. Obiekt przewyższył nasze oczekiwania. Ocena 10/10.

Tutto, dall'accoglienza di Helio, che è stato veramente eccezionale, all'ordine e pulizia dell'appartamento, al fatto che abbiamo trovato un cesto di benvenuto quando siamo arrivati alla sera tardi che ci ha veramente salvati perché non c'era più nulla di aperto per mangiare qualcosa. Helio ha reso veramente la nostra permanenza in questo posto meraviglioso ancora più perfetta!

No hay palabras suficientes para describir esta opción de alojamiento. Helio hace que sientas que estás como en tu casa. Jamás habíamos estado en un apartamento con un anfitrión como este. Opinię o obiekcie trzeba zacząć od gospodarza - Helio. Helio jest fantastycznie gościnny, cudownie pomocny, dbający o wszystkie detale i jednocześnie nienarzucający się. Apartament jest świetnie wyposażony we wszystko /totalnie wszystko/! Jest bardzo wygodnie: łóżka, łazienka, ręczniki, kosmetyki, dobrze działająca klimatyzacja, kuchnia. Jest bardzo cicho - boczna uliczka na końcu miejscowości. Niedaleko sklep, restauracje, ciastkarnia, pralnia. Helio przywiózł nas z lotniska i zawiózł na bardzo wczesny lot. Czekała na nas pełna lodówka smakołyków. Bardzo polecamy to miejsce!

Hélio is a fantastic host. His apartment is stocked with everything—from nail polish remover to baby shampoo. All those little things you might miss from home, you’ll find right here. There’s a fully stocked fridge, and the bedroom is air-conditioned. We travel a lot, and Hélio’s holiday apartment is by far the best-equipped place we’ve ever stayed in.

La exquisita atención de Helio hasta en los más mínimos detalles. Nos dejó el frigorífico lleno y no tuvimos casi que hacer compra durante nuestra estancia.

No poder disfrutarlo más tiempo

Absolutamente todo, Hélio tenía la casa limpia, ordenada, con todo lujo de detalles , desde alimentos en la nevera, zapatillas de estar por casa, gel, champú, esponja… no nos faltó de nada, estancia 5 estrellas.

We had just amazing experience with my friend and I would recommend this to everyone. Appartment was really cozy and absolutelly spotless with everything you might immagine you could need. On our arrival the fridge was full of eonderful local food so we did not need to nither with breakfast for couple of days. Helios arranged for as even a car for much better price than in local rent shops. Location was very close to the center, really like 10-15 minutes walk and all the necessities like bakery and supermarket were really close. Thank you Helios again for your kind help and non stop availsbility. Should I come again to Sao Miquel which I am sure I will, I am sure where I will stay!!!🙏🙏🙏

There is nithing negative about this place

The Host was amazing and went above and beyond. I was there to do some diving and he offered to shuttle me to the dive shop every day. He gave me a tour of the apartment and showed me a map of the islands and what activities can be done. There was some food and coffee already stocked so I didn't have to get food the first day. The place was clean and well maintained. It is a quite neighbourhood and the city centre is only about a 20min walk. There is a shopping mall about 12min from the apartment.

Location is excelent, very easy to find, immediately after the exit from the main road, parking in front of the apartment,15 minutes easy walk to the center. The apartment had everything you needed. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. He filled the fridge with local delicacies, he took us to and from the airport for free, he gave us navigation links for tourist circuits which was extremely useful. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Booking this accommodation provides you with much more than just a room and a bed. The host, Hélio, went above and beyond in order to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, allowing us to make the most of our trip. The accommodation was well presented, incredibly clean, with parking for our car rental, and just outside of the busy part of down town which was the perfect location. Hélio also provided us with a range of local produce which was a fantastic touch. He also was a great source of information to help us plan our days in Sao Miguel, as well as giving us advice for the other islands we visited. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Honestly nothing!

Hélio is an impeccable host, and his apartment is very comfortable, clean, and well-organized. The location was excellent for visiting Ponta Delgada as well as accessing/seeing many attractions on Sao Miguel. We felt thoroughly welcomed and cared for. Highly recommend staying chez Hélio.

An exceptional apartment, close to the center of Ponta Delgada, quiet and pleasant, equipped with everything a person needs and more to feel at home while traveling. But more importantly, the host, Helio, is a wonderful and charming person. He picked me up from the airport and also took me there on the day of my return flight. Before my arrival, he made sure to fill the kitchen with all sorts of goodies - fresh bread, fresh fruits, eggs, cheeses, yogurts, milk, juices, and more. In addition, he offered to assist with the car rental and drove me to the rental company. What particularly impressed me was Helio's attention to the small details that make all the difference - from preparing an organized kit with instructions on where to travel, clear and organized instructions for operating the kitchen, towels to take with me for bathing in the thermal pools, slippers waiting for me on the day of arrival, assistance with laundry. Helio was available at any hour for my questions. The hospitality at Caminhos nos Levam pela Ilha was unforgettable, and I have no doubt that if I visit the Azores again, I will book there again!

Our stay in Ponta Delgada was excellent. The owner of the residence was very nice, picked up us from the airport. It is easily seen that the owner of the residence takes care of the Apartment, takes care of his customers, provides numerous facilities, helps in renting a car. We were very happy, we were very satisfied. We strongly recommend this residence.

We had such a great stay with Matos our lovely host. It was just great. We were so well looked after, the flat was super nice and equipped with everything you need. Hélio is an exceptional host and his hospitality made my stay in "Hawaii of Europe" even more pleasant than I could ever imagine. I really appreciate his "you are on a vacation, let me sort out all things" approach. The place is clean, nice, and a great base for all your endeavours on the island. You are greeted with a nice welcome pack after long journey to the island and for the whole stay if you need anything, it is just a text away. Our stay in Ponta Delgada exceeded all our expectations. Hélio is an exceptional host who not only thought of every detail to make the apartment comfortable and a home away from home but was also extremely kind and every day made sure that we had everything we needed to make the most of our vacation. The island is magnificent and we loved exploring all the beauty it has to offer. People like Hélio make places even more special. Helio was the best host we ever had. He helped us with everything and made our trip unforgettable. The house was very clean, comfortable and everything we needed was available. Thank you for the amazing experience:)

Helio is the nicest man and wants you to enjoy his island and home, airport pickup and he took me back to get a car, showed me the best two takeout places, and gave me a tour of his town… apt has everything you need including beach towels, umbrellas and enough food to last a few days. His laundry woman did a load of wash for 5 euros. Easy walk to the central area but be careful of drivers where there is no sidewalk, parking easy outside of apt and easy on and off to highway and other sites vs the one way streets in the central area. Loved seeing his cat in the window in the morning. I did have to take cash out for a few days to pay Helio but understand soon booking may be taking payment for him.

A few things I didn’t like- all the windows are frosted so there was no view. And not Helios fault but there is a neglected dog next door that whined and barked through a lot of rainy/cold days in January. Going out to a little back deck area I could see this pup head down lying in a cemented area in the rain. I called a lot of rescue places but the neighbor’s treatment of the dog is a bit common in rural Portugal. I cried and did not sleep for a few days… again not Helios fault as there are few rescue options in Ponta Delgada and I was told the pound is about just as bad. Was also told people don’t adopt… Hard to unsee what you see and as an animal lover especially dogs this broke my heart. Hopefully Helio can work with the owners to find this dog a new home with better conditions. Both Helio and this dog deserve better. Donated to an animal shelter as I couldn’t find a way to change this dog’s situation.

Helio is a host who thinks of absolutely everything to make his guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. He helps to utilize the time on Sao Miguel in a best possible way. For this couple of days I really felt like I had a home there in Ponta Delgada.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. Hospitality was over my expectations. Apartment has everything that you need and even more. It is like 10-15 minutes close to the center of the city by walking. The host was amazing. It was like home away from home. Thanks to Helio for taking care of me during my stay🙏🏻 Highly recommended

It was perfect

Our host Helio was one of the nicest person we have ever met and the apartment exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect - calm but still in the walking distance to the city central. And we felt very safe all the time. In front of the house it had space to park the rent-car for free and the apartment itself was equipped with everything what you might need and even more. ( We have stayed in a lot of small apartments while travelling and never seen one so good equipped like this one.) We felt like at home from the first night there and our holidays were perfectly rounded up with the delicious dinner we had on our last evening together with Helio.

The place is great and the host even more so. The accomodation had everything we needed for our stay, location is also very good and free parking is available if needed. Our host was very kind and helpfull. I would highly recomed this apartment for a holiday.
