Saanichton Waterfront 2BR suite with superb views

excellent communication with the owner and quick response to getting into the property. Was accommodating with arrival and departure time requests. Parking was available on the beautiful property and we felt like we were at a luxury resort.

We had no complaints at all for anything. The tea and coffee kitchen was excellently laid out. The only thing we would have liked was the possibility to have a small cup of milk for morning coffee, or a non-dairy creamer powder available.

La maison et la vue sont superbes Les chambres sont grandes, confortables et tranquilles Globalement propre, l’endroit permet de se relaxer et de ne passer du bon temps en famille Les gîtes sont très gentils

Même si c’est propre, ce n’est pas parfait, l’entretien pourrait être mieux tenu L’espace pour cuisiner n’est pas idéal mais cela était connu avant que l’on arrive

The views, beach front very relaxing. Linens and beds were very comfortable.

The only thing missing was a better kitchen area with more counter space and a sink.

Amazing house, garden and views. Rahni was a very friendly and helpful host. We saw a family of river otters come out of the water to their den for the night at the bottom of the property. Special 🦦❤️

Beautiful secluded property

Beautiful, clean accommodations which are great for two couples. The view of the water and amazing gardens is definitely superb! The suite is clean, bright, quiet- an oasis! The owners are very welcoming and friendly.

I don’t have any dislikes. The only things some travellers may miss is a full kitchen.

The location was perfect for our needs! The view was lovely. The space was clean. We really enjoyed the tea provided and sitting on the porch. It was a perfect homey welcome after a long day of travel.

No sink to rinse or wash dishes

Very homey and roomy. Beds were really comfortable. Shower was amazing. Views were spectacular.

There was a small fridge that worked perfect. But no freezer component for our ice packs. Not a huge deal but for travelers it’s kind of nice to have that option. Also, no sink in the breakfast area. Again not a big deal because the host had it set up to collect the dishes. Might be a good add if possible.

Great location, very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were very comfortable with views of the water.

The refrigerator had no freezer…so we had to eat our ice cream that we bought at the grocery store before dinner …oh the bad luck. lol

Amazing views, especially from bedrooms. Heated floors were a special touch. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. They went the extra mile to help out our special needs. We are very grateful.

It was very difficult to open the doors. Something is wrong with the doors and they need to be fixed. Would prefer a better kitchen setup.

The view of the water and outdoor seating was the best. The lay out with two bedrooms worked very nicely. Close to all the our destination and sights. Easy access. Beautiful outdoor gardens.

I was travelling with my elderly parents - the stairs to access the suite were a bit tricky for walking. They could use a better hand rail.

Gorgeous rooms with garden facing ocean. The host is very sweet. There are stairs down to the private beach and we could get to see magnificent sunrise like the one in Monet painting.

Host’s husband is friendly and wife seems friendly too. Explained what to do like leaving dirty dishes & glass in basin to wash. Outside grill was hard to turn on. Sink on side with a faucet that’s old & not tight Expected to clean dishes & area but no cleaning supplies were provided.

Had to walk down a steep & narrow flight of wooden steps and some of iron grille was loose. No sink in cafe/tea with tiny refrigerator area. Could not get Coffee maker to work? Cant prepare breakfast. Has small counter microwave. Ran out of toilet tissue with no rolls as spare. Started with less than half a roll. Early in morning did not want to bother host. Upon arrival said we didn’t pay for our overnight stay!

The host, Rani, was gracious, helpful, and a pleasure to chat with. The location was not only very convenient to amenities and attractions, but had a spectacular view.

There was some minor noise from a landscaping or building project happening at the house next door - but not so much that it drove us indoors, and it stopped at a reasonable time in the evening. No fault of our property host!

Luxurious furnishings, spacious, friendly hosts, stairs down to private beach and gorgeous views of Coast Salish waters and islands. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds and 2 beautiful large ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers. Lovely gardens and terraces with sea views. Fantastic, highly recommend, would come back!

This was a beautiful spot to spend a couple of nights away with a friend. The hosts are lovely. Comfortable beds and a great living room space. There is no kitchen sink, but the host took our dirty dishes and brought them back clean. Plenty of outdoor eating space, where we enjoyed the fruit and pastries we brought with us for breakfast.

He location is fantastic and the views are great. The owner w very friendly and really made u feel welcome. Facilities were great

Rani was a wonderful host and the ground floor suite is stunning. She met us on arrival and spent a lot of time providing tips and directions for sites and restaurants worth a visit. The rooms are large with upscale furnishings and well provisioned with basics (coffee, shampoo, etc.) Appreciated the full size coffee maker, kettle and mini fridge. The view truly is spectacular. The grounds are beautifully organized/decorated and maintained. Located quite close to the international airport and Sydney.

A larger food prep counter and sink in kitchen area would be helpful along with a table and chairs inside for chilly day meals. No coffee shops close enough to walk to.

We loved the spacious and extremely comfortable accommodation. The view is stunning. We had full use of a wonderful garden and slept in an exceptionally comfortable bed with beautiful bed linen.

There was nothing to dislike.

I liked everything about it for the price. It had beautiful landscape and a wonderful view with big windows and a lovely backyard. There were lots of comfy places to sit. A unexpected plus was the bunny that came to visit while we were in the backyard.

May be difficult for accessibility because of stairs. Otherwise none.

The solitude and atmosphere was like being at a private resort. The view was amazing, looking out on the ocean. The host provided excellent recommendations and made us feel so relaxed. The location was extremely convenient to sightsee places like Butchart Gardens.

The property and the views were stunning. The living spaces were very comfortable and modern, and had everything we needed for our stay.

The whole experience was fantastic! Rani has created a welcoming, comfortable home away from home. She was so helpful and yet respectful of our privacy. Wished we had have booked for longer.

Rani and Aram have a beautiful waterfront home with a private downstairs with its own entrance and a vast view of the sea. There are stairs down to a nice rocky beach, a lawn that hosts bunnies in the morning, plenty of outdoor seating, and just a pure sense of elegant restfulness. The beds are fabulous, the two bedrooms are ensuite and at opposite sides of a very comfortable lounge with leather sofas. They offer a coffee bar and microwave, but we didn't use them—the area has so many healthy, creative restaurants that Rani will tell you about. The location is near Butcharts, provincial parks, hiking, boating, and northern ferries to smaller islands. I would move in in a heartbeat. They are lovely people and we were disappointed to be so busy playing we didn't take more time to visit. We had such a good time!

The apartment was lovely, very clean, and in a great location on the waterfront, with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay..

The location was perfect for exploring and easy access to the things we wanted to do.

It’s location was amazing as it was right on the waterfront were we saw groups of Otters. The amenities were outstanding as both bedrooms had matching ensuites.
