El bungalow estaba nuevo y tenía todo lo necesario, limpiaban la habitación cada mañana y te reponían el agua, gel y champú.

Por la noche se escuchaba algo de música de al rededor, pero se puede dormir perfectamente.

The most beautiful property, the attention to detail and care the owner has is unmatched. We had the most relaxing stay, nice big comfy bed and good aircon. The property is close to the beach and also steps from lots of restaurants and shops, the perfect location on the island. The room and bathroom are so spacious and has everything for a comfortable stay. The grounds of the property are so well looked after, there are two nice pools which is great as we always had a pool for ourselves. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough, if you are coming to Gili Air you will not regret booking this place. The owner and young man who manages the property are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. Only problem was we had to leave!

Sampai Jumpa has a wonderfull location close to the beach in the less touristy area of Gili Air. Closely located to restaurants and dive shops. The room has everything you need, including a set of natural soaps. To trump this all the host provides you with all the advice you need, especially on good restaurants on island. She even helped us organising our trip across Lombok.

En plus d’être spacieuse, la chambre était très propre et dotée d’équipements très appréciable (eau à disposition, café, climatisation, frigo…). La salle de bain est très propre et moderne. Les deux piscines ainsi que l’aménagement extérieur sont très plaisants. L’hôte a été de bons conseils dès mon arrivée en me recommandant des restaurants, des activités etc. Le matériel de snorkelling est gratuit et il y a également la possibilité de louer des vélos. Je suis tombée malade durant mon séjour et l’hôte a été au petit soin avec moi en me traitant comme sa fille. Merci infiniment pour ce séjour !

Lella est une hôte formidable ! Nous avons adoré séjourner chez elle. Elle s'est occupé de nous organiser des excursions, transports... Elle n'hésite pas à prendre de son temps pour conseiller au mieux ! Le lieu est génial, à deux pas de la plage, des restaurants et autres.. Pas trop proche de la mosquée (pour ceux qui aiment dormir le matin 🤗). Lella met à disposition du matériel de snorkeling, ce qui est aussi très appréciable, bref foncez si vous aimez les endroits calmes, chaleureux et reposants 🥰

DO NOT EVER STAY HERE! Our stay at Sampai Jumpa is and was a nightmare. The owner harassed and threatened us over the span of multiple days. We had a good first night when we received a message from the owner the next day saying that we broke a pool float. We instantly walked back to the hotel, where we apologized for any mishap from our site. The Owner however told us to pay her 40 Euros cash, now, for the float. We asked for a receipt since she claimed that she bought it on Amazon but she did not want to give us one. When we looked up the exact brand & model of the float, we saw that it actually only cost 10 Euros, which we then offered to pay her on the spot. Suddenly she wanted 25 Euros instead of the initial 40 Euros since the float was hard to buy in Gili Air and 15 Euros extra were for picking it up from the main island and her time. We found her behaviour unprofessional and declined to pay random amounts of money with no receipt. She then threatened us that if we did not go to Lombok right now to buy a similar float or pay 25 Euros to her, she would kick us out of the hotel one day early, since one night at her hotel cost 25 Euros so if we left earlier, our debt would be paid. We told her that we would check out the next morning, one day early, which made her cancel our entire booking, saying that we never even checked in at the hotel. She tried to gaslight us by stating that it was us who cancelled the booking (we have screenshots that prove she canceled the booking). When we checked out one day early the next day, we received a voice memo over a new number calling us criminals, stating that she knows where we will stay next and that she knows the owners and that we should look out in Gili Air. Her exact words were even worse namely "hati hati in Gili Air".. (be careful in Gili Air) because she doxxed us to other people..

Really gorgeous place and such a lovely location. Went for a break with my mum, and we both loved how quiet the place was and how close to the beach it was. Lella is also wonderful and so helpful for anything that you need.

L’établissement est agréable situé à côté de la mer, piscine petite mais suffisant pour se rafraîchir.

Nous avons moins apprécié le comportement de la responsable de la villa qui se permet de rentrer dans notre chambre sans notre présence, nous sommes partis manger durant 1h un soir en laissant la clim allumée pour garder la chambre fraîche avant de dormir et elle s’est permise de rentrer pour l’éteindre. Elle est même rentrée dans la chambre pendant que mon conjoint faisait sa douche, pensant que nous avions oublié de fermer la porte principale de la chambre. Il était donc difficile de se détendre totalement avec une personne omniprésente et contrôlante pendant le séjour.

Het is schoon en de mensen zijn erg aardig. Ze hebben ons geholpen om vervoer te regelen voor een goede prijs op Lombok. Konden aan het eind van de dag na het uitchecken nog even douchen.

Onze kamer was bijzonder ruim en de badkamer zaaaalig groot: lekker de ruimte voor al je spullen en een heerlijke douche! Eigenaresse Lella wil alles voor je regelen wat je maar nodig hebt, op een hele prettige manier. Prijzen gewoon realistisch, helemaal prima. Fietsen te huur voor weinig, bed was helemaal oke, kluisje, koelkastje, fijne kast voor je kleren, koffie- en theefaciliteiten, airco en je hebt een eigen terrasje waar een ventilator hangt: heerlijk. Het is klein (totaal 6 kamers?) maar heel fijn. 2 zwembaden, héél rustig straatje maar om de hoek gelijk een klein supermarktje en wat andere winkeltjes en restaurants. Strand op 3 minuten loopafstand. Je kunt op het strand liggen of gebruik maken van de strandbedden van 1 van de restaurants. Dan wel graag zo nu en dan wat bestellen.

Niets. De fiets had een drupje olie nodig maar verder was het heel erg fijn. Wij waren er 4 nachten.

Le matériel de snorkling mis à disposition est à rénover, et quelques cafards vue dans la salle de bain, mais je pense que il y a en sur l’île, ce n’est pas un soucis de propreté

La atención, el personal, la ubicación, nos gustó todo, justo al lado había un local para desayunar buenísimo.

Petit havre de paix au nord de Gili Air. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Logement proche de toutes les commodités disposant de deux piscines et d'un espace extérieur très agréable et propice à la détente. Lella nous a donné plein de de conseils et de contacts pour nos différentes activités sur l'île.

La douche de la salle de bain n'est pas délimitée, ce qui met de l'eau un peu partout.

El chico del alojamiento estuvo en todo momento para ayudarnos en todo. Nos ayudó a la hora de contratar moto eléctrica, a la hora de hacer la colada, y en todo lo que pudo.

Por mencionar algo. Faltan alguna hamacas más cómodas en la piscina.

Location was great, close to the beach and nice cafes and restaurants. The manager at the hotel was very friendly and took great care of us! Room was big and comfortable.

The description in Booking is not accurate - there is not food/bar service and the place is totally chill compared to the pictures posted (which might be old). Also, they list “free snorkeling gear” but the masks are almost all broken. Some maintenance work of the common areas would make it look great again!

Great location, quiet, a short walk to the beach and with some lovely shops and cafe's just around the corner. Lovely staff, very helpful, gentle and kind. Nice pools and lots of areas to relax and read. Good bikes to rent at normal prices.

There are mosquitos, so keep the door closed and apply repellent. We didn't get bitten by using these simple measures. The towels are microfibre which we're not a fan of.

Todo! El sitio es maravilloso, la decoración tiene muy buen gusto, super limpio y Lella es una gran anfitriona. Consta de 2 pequeñas piscinas, suficiente para refrescarte si hace mucho calor, asi como de todo lo necesario para que disfrutes tu estancia.

A localização no Norte da ilha, excelente para o sunset. A casa de banho era muito boa e o ar condicionado. Tem duas piscinas que são ótimas para refrescar , embora não tenhamos praticamente usado porque o mar é a dois passos. Poder alugar bicicletas 🚴‍♂️ que permitem dar a volta à ilha.

Apenas ter a possibilidade de pequeno-almoço quando a dona está presente no alojamento.

A really spacious and clean property with a lovely pool and exquisite decoration! Friendly welcome, snorkelling masks were free to use and easy to access, with Padel courts and some great food options + the beautiful beaches and sunset in the north of the island. Thanks for the leaving gift too - a really lovely touch!

Lella (the owner) and the manager dodi are such lovely people and it was a pleasure to stay there! Lella did everything to help us and to make us feel at home. Lovely friendly staff, easy check-in, rented bikes. The space was lovely, air conditioning worked well. Felt comfortable and safe. The area was the perfect location!

It was a bit of a walk from the port, as I’m not too keen on using horse and carriage. But I wouldn’t even consider this a negative because it’s on the better side of the island in my opinion.

The accomodation was very beautiful, the rooms and the two pools were very clean and the manager of the homestay and Lella was very welcoming. Great time in Gili air!

Beautiful rooms with attention to detail in decor. Staff very helpful and nice. Peaceful and quiet, good noise insulation from outside. Good A/C Free Refills of filtered water.

Great accommodation, quite new and in great condition. They have everything I needed, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, mosquito repellent etc. Bed are very comfty and rooms cleaned daily. It was less than a 5 min walk to the beach which had the best sunset

My stay was fantastic, the accommodation where I was staying looked recently built, so everything looked new. The design is very nice, everything is made from wood and they take sustainability, ecology, and waste very seriously. What made my stay more pleasant was the receptionist Dodi, who was very friendly and helped me a lot with recommendations of things to do in Gilli Air. Dodi is very good in his job, and you can see that he is experienced in the hospitality industry. Thank you very much for making my stay more pleasant.

I really enjoyed both my own room with patio and the common spaces, all very inviting and relaxing. The attention to details makes this place special, from the high quality complimentary toiletries and sleeping aids to the wonderful shower head and double pool :) The location is perfect, the host and her team super attentive & welcoming, one doesn't want to leave!

We adored our stay Sampai Jumpa. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful (even the cat!) The place is very well thought out for guests, nice areas to hang out, the rooms has everything you need, the bikes were handy and the pools were lovely. There are great warungs and cafes near by. I would recommend staying here to anyone and hope to bring friends and family here with us next time.

Lella puts her heart into this place, and it shows. She really cares about creating a beautiful, comfortable environment. The design of everything has been carefully created by Lella, and the result is a place that is relaxing and welcoming. My room was very clean - the whole place was. The location is very peaceful - when you stay at Sampai Jumpa, you are unlikely to be woken up by the mosque’s 4:30am call to prayer - this is rare on Gili Air. You also won’t be kept up by bars playing music. Having said that, location is close to the north-west facing coast, so you are only moments away from being able to see the sunset, as well as various eateries in the area and along that beach. In the room, there’s ample shelves and hangers and storage, and excellent A/C. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve had in Bali, Lombok & Gili Air. This is a beautiful place, and Lella is a fantastic host. She organised all sorts of things for me, including laundry and a snorkelling tour.

Lella has an eye for detail and beauty. The property is laid out perfectly and the location is fantastic. Having two pools is a genius idea and the use of natural materials and colours are so calming. The room and bathroom were a great size and both furnished well. The mirror made me look skinny 😜

The woman who runs the place is so lovely and is really trying to make your stay the best possible. The location is nice and the facilities are taken well care of. There is even a mosquito net in the bathroom at the open window which we really liked.

Small things like the curtain which is quite bright (I know there are sleeping masks provided but I don’t like the feeling of them) also there are not so many possibilities to hang up wet things. Some clothes rack by the pool area but it was occupied very often. But still nothing major compared to other stays in Indonesia !

Clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, the owner was welcoming and friendly, the pools were lovely. We would definitely stay again. Also not far from the beach and restaurants.

Bed was comfy. Pools were nice to enjoy. The “Boyfriend”( huge ceiling fan) outside was so nice. Super close to the sunset side of the island. Shower was great and provided organic toiletries. WiFi was great.

Not only is this hotel beautiful, clean, and free of cockroaches (which is very rare on an island), but it also stands out for its incredibly kind and caring staff. The owner even went out of her way to bring me my charger, which I had forgotten in the room, all the way to the port as I was about to board the boat. Everything here is perfect: impeccable cleanliness, attentive and thoughtful staff. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it for an extra night. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Thank you for everything!

Lela is a great host! The location of her property is just spot on. You can rent the push bikes right there when you arrive. The best Warung in the island is 1 minute walk. Sunsets are a must. Just take the recommendations from the host and you will be a happy person that will suddenly get an urge to move to Gili Air. Go for the sunrise. The view is just amazing. The sun comes up behind the vulcano Rinkani from Lombok. Try the massage at Dila Hair and Spa (it's where the local expats go to). Try also Mowie's for sunset and some food. Try also Barefoot Blondie for breakfast.

Not staying longer

Sampai Jumpa was like a home away from home. Lella was an excellent host and we enjoyed our stay here very much.

2 pools for a few rooms. Cleaned daily. Air con worked well. There is a little outdoor seating area with a ceiling fan that was a lovely spot to read in each afternoon. Room was clean and there was an option for it to be re-cleaned daily. Complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Great peaceful location but close to local cafes and the beach in the north. Owner very friendly towards guests. Pool showers meant I could wash my inevitably-muddle feet before entering my room. Free water refills. It was possible to borrow snorkels. These were a bit grotty {eg the snorkel mouthpiece very chewed, which put me off} - but they are free to use. Beach towels provided in addition to room towels. Comfortable bed with nice white bed linen which was always clean. WiFi was fine. Shower pressure fine but no hot water.

IMPROVEMENTS? I know the owner is relatively new and intends to make lots of imminent improvements, so the following may already be in hand, but: There was a strong chemical smell coming from the bathroom during the entire stay. This also clung to any clothes I tried to dry in there {eg underwear}. When I queried whether it was safe for me to be breathing it in, the owner said it was something to do with preventing cockroaches. I don’t want a cockroach infested room, true, but I had not come across this anywhere else at this budget in Indonesia. Shower-curtain curtains did not block out enough light {see photos}. Glad I brought an eye mask with me. I would suggest replacing these for something thicker. These curtains had to remain closed throughout my stay as people were constantly walking past. My room was adjacent to the seating area where the owner and manager often sat chatting and greeting new guests, so their cigarette smoke often drifted towards my room as well as their chat. That was not relaxing. Floor washed during clean - great! But it remained wet for the rest of the day which also made the tiles slippery. Would be best to dry these off more at the end of the room clean. My main recommendation: provide drying racks for each room, which is what I’ve come to expect from accommodation at this price point in Indonesia {6 different properties}. We were all having to use just the one which meant we resorted to drying wet swimwear and clothes {it rained heavily} on other furniture, which wasn’t ideal and made the place look crowded and untidy. There are laundry options in the neighbourhood but it would be costly to be constantly using these for small washes. No fridge in room. No breakfast included. VALUE FOR MONEY? Because of the above, I felt like the price was a little expensive in comparison to the 8 other properties I’ve stayed in in Bali/Lombok.

The place is just so nice! Spacious, very clean, room and bathroom with all the facilities that you need. There are also two pools and lounge space for relaxation. You can also refill your water bottle for free. Also The location is perfect. Just two minut walk to the beach, where you can watch amazing sunsets. The area around is quiet, peacful. But what made this place ever more special is the owner. Thank you so much Lella for making the stay one to remember forever. Your kindness is one of a kind. Always there to help, give good recommendations, advice, and all of that with a smile. You can really see that she puts so much effort into her place to create a perfect stay in this lovely island.

The resort is small, only 6 rooms, with 2 lovely swimming pools. The rooms and communal areas are spotlessly clean. The rooms and bathrooms are large, well equipped, have vomfy beds (and great pillows) tastefully decorated and have tea/coffee/toiletries/hairdryer. Mineral water from a large bottle is freely available, meaning less plastic bottles. The resort is very well located, approx 3 minute walk to the beach where there are numerous bars/restaurants where, amongst other things, you can watch the amazing sunsets. The owner, Lella, is a dynamic, creative lady who clearly loves this resort and her guests, and will do whatever she can to make sure her guests are very happy.

Lovely new place right arround the corner from the sunset beach & tasty warungs. Cozy deco. Cleanliness of european standards, efficient AC + fan. Refill water + kettle in the room. 2 pools for 6 rooms so never overcrowded. Very comfy bed. Lovely attentive host + personnel. Not too far from the snorkling areas. Liked it so much we extended our stay 😃

Property has been seriously renovated since my last vist....and it is great! Lella the owner has done a great job with the property, she genuinely cares about your comfort, is super nice and always available. Peaceful location (can barely hear the mosque and sunset beach a short stroll away), 2 pools, clean and tidy, good wifi, hot shower, and a super fun cat to play with :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sampai Jumpa. The hotel is brand-new, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the genuine warmth and attentiveness of the owner, Lella, and her staff. The room seems to have been carefully planned - thoughtful design and comfort. It's spacious, tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the use of natural materials like bamboo and wood added a tropical feel. Small touches, such toiletries produced with natural ingredients made the experience even more special. I also loved the big shower. And everything was very clean. I had to work for a day during my stay, and the wi-fi in the room was good enough for that (emails, calls, etc.) The location is great, nestled in a tranquil part of the Island, conveniently close to the beach, yet far enough from the main tourist spots to provide a serene, private atmosphere. In addition, the hotel has two very nice swimming pools where you can spend a few hours relaxing. Everything about the hotel was impeccable, and it’s clear that a lot of care and thought has gone into making every guest’s experience extraordinary. I highly recommend Sampai Jumpa for anyone looking to experience the best of Gili Air.

Everything was perfect, from the owner who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs to the quiet location, just 2 minutes away from Sunset beach, far from the busy arbour and the noise of the mosque, perfect for those who are light sleepers like me. The property has recently been redecorated so everything is brand new, from the mattress to the furniture. Our room was spotlessly clean. Additional plus points were the natural toiletries, the free water refill, the 2 swimming pools and the relaxing vibes. I can definitely recommend this place and would definitely book it again!
