The room was spacious enough for a family of 3-4 people. The bathroom was large too. It was just like the description and photos shown.

The price might be just too expensive for one night in such a small city like Chur, considering that the building also doesn’t have an elevator.

It was fine! Comparable most to a hostel but as far as they go, excellent condition. Easy walking distance to where we wanted to go.

We had been traveling all day from Milan, I couldn’t find the email with the check in details, just by chance as we where having a glass of wine across the way the owners dad came and saved the day and Let us in, perfect!

Nothing, great location and a Comfy bed

A great location, just a short walk to the centre and convenient for trains, buses or trams. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was a small kitchenette which was extremely well equipped. Tea and coffee provided.

Die Nähe zur Altstadt war sehr gut, die Kneipenumgebung ziemlich heftig, da es zwar bei den Fenstern eine Doppelverglasung gab, die jedoch selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern nichts nützte, da der Lärm über die Fassade übertragen wurde. Also sehr hellhörig. Von Sonntag bis Donnerstag ist die Lärmbelastung o.k., Freitag und Samstag sollte man am besten mitfeiern....

We managed to park and the communication is rapid.

The location and the room. Its next to an erotic club and across is a restaurant specific for smoking inside while you eat. I bumped my heat all the time and our room was several floors up. The neighborhood was also scary for my girlfriend

Přímo u hlavního tahu městem, naproti je diskotéka, přes zeď nigt club a z druhé strany hospoda se zahrádkou. Spaní při otevřeném okně nemyslitelné a klima chybí.

Er was geen comfortabele stoel aanwezig. Er waren cups voor koffie, maar geen melkcups. De straat was er druk wat voor veel verkeersgeluid zorgde.

Very clean, good value, close to station, spacious, views from balcony beautiful, private kitchen and bathroom was perfect, will be staying here every year from now on when visiting family in Chur.

Easy to find. All functions very well

Wir waren auf unserer Radreise entlang des Rheinradwegs unterwegs und haben hier einen schönen und angenehmen Aufenthalt gehabt. Die Unterkunft war gemütlich, gut ausgestattet und für uns als Radreisende bestens geeignet. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt und konnten nach einem langen Tag auf dem Fahrrad wunderbar entspannen. Der Kontakt war freundlich und unkompliziert, alles hat gut funktioniert und wir waren rundum zufrieden. Eine Unterkunft, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen und bei unserer nächsten Tour am Rhein jederzeit wieder in Betracht ziehen würden.

It was perfect. Very close to the very fabulous Chur old town, where we were lucky to experience some of the Khur Music Festival and have fabulous coffee and pastries in Café Aurora Chur. Bus stop to the train station just around the corner from the accommodation. Bed was very comfy. Ear plugs supplied if you need them. Great little kitchenette with lovely coffee provided. Ensuite perfect. I sent a question to the host through whats app quite early in the morning, and had a very prompt reply. We went on an evening trip to Arosa, on the train just around the corner and had gorgeous food in Güterschuppen Arosa. We would have no hesitation in returning to Haus zum Rütli if ever we return to Chur.

Parkplatz vorhanden. Kontaktlose Übergabe. Tee+Kaffee im Zimmer vorhanden. Super zentrale Lage zur Altstadt. Unterkunft ist an einer befahrenen Strasse, aber die Fenster sind gut schallisoliert.

Achtung!!! Die Unterkunft ist gegenüber von einer Diskothek und am Wochenende bis 3-4 uhr nachts ist es SEHR SEHR laut, das schaffen auch die isolierten Fenster nicht mehr! Unter der Woche kann man problemlos dort schlafen.

Clean, simply furnished accommodation near small shops for shoes watches etc. Easy key access. The town has an enormous Migros next to the station, selling food lothing etc 1 km from the accommodation.

1 km from station, not near as advertised. We had to carry cases up 6 flights of stairs to a room under the roof even though the building seemed otherwise vacant. The ad says 1 floor up which is totally misleading. We are travelling with cases for 5 weeks, too strenuous to carry them up one at a time. Stairs are steep. Bed very firm. Room hot even though the weather was mild at 25 degrees maximum in September.

A quiet room overlooking the back. Comfortable beds. Luggage storage room was useful.

Clean, good location, comfortable. Good value. And their staff are so wonderful and very helpful.

I honest couldn’t find fault. It was good.

We had a one night stay in Chur. Property was very clean and only 10 min walk from the station and near old town. Check in was easy. All via what’s app..

No elevators.. so had to carry suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs. Big an issue for us but would be difficult if elderly

Great location, close to the old city and a couple of walking trails. Very secure property. Good communication from them as well. We had a room with a kitchenette and private bathroom, but there are shared hostel spaces too. Would book again.

It's a bit tatty in places (flooring was very uneven in the family room) but they are renovating parts of the building so this may be addressed soon.

De locatie was prima en we konden onze bagage even stallen en ietsje eerder inchecken.

Helaas een erg teleurstellend verblijf, zeker voor CHF 189,90 per nacht. Het appartement is klein, krap en matig afgewerkt. Dat hadden we nog kunnen accepteren, maar er waren daarnaast meerdere zaken niet op orde: de prullenbak was niet geleegd, de keuken was nauwelijks voorzien van benodigdheden en de koelkast stond niet aan. De inductiekookplaat werkte niet, terwijl we juist vanwege de kitchenette hadden gekozen voor deze accommodatie om zelf te kunnen koken. Ondanks meerdere pogingen om contact te krijgen, kregen we niet tijdig hulp en moesten we uiteindelijk in de gemeenschappelijke keuken koken. Ook waren het douchegordijn en de wc-borstel ronduit vies. De host erkende uiteindelijk alle genoemde problemen en bood CHF 70 terugbetaling aan. Na het doorgeven van onze bankgegevens en inmiddels meerdere reminders hebben we echter nog steeds geen geld ontvangen én geen reactie meer gekregen. Voor CHF 189,90 per nacht vinden wij dit absoluut niet in verhouding staan tot wat je ervoor krijgt. Het eerdere inchecken en kunnen achterlaten van onze bagage was prettig, maar we zouden hier helaas niet opnieuw verblijven.

Clean, easy to access, 12 min flat walk from main train station. Just next to the old town so convenient for exploring. Excellent communication by the owner.

Very hot, fan ineffective - room was 30⁰ overnight. Also quite noisy due to bars and major roads nearby and need to keep windows open as much as possible all night.

Wir gehen davon aus, dass der Besitzer gewusst hat, dass in der Nacht Strassenbaulärm herrscht Das Fensterchen konnte nicht geschlossen bleiben, da im Zimmer 30 Grad herrschte. Unser Meinung nach hätte dieses Zimmer während der Bauzeit nicht vermietet werden dürfen. Pro Person nur 1 Kleiderbügel !!! Im Bad keine Haken oder Aufhängemöglichkeit für das Badetuch !!!

Locatie middenin uitgaansgebied. Wij verbleven in het weekend en tot diep in de nacht heel veel lawaai. Bij aankomst in de kamer lagen de oordoppen al klaar, zegt genoeg.

Die Betten waren gut, die Bettwäsche sauber. Das Zimmer war groß. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war praktisch.

Die Informationen, die ich vom Gastgeber bekomme wollte, wurden spät und nur teilweise beantwortet. Das Zimmer war sehr sehr laut: an einer auch nachts viel befahrenen Straße und die Bar Vulcano gegenüber wo bis Mitternacht laut draussen gebechert wurde. Wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen. Unter "Tee/Kaffeezubehör stellt man sich anderes vor: Es gab nur Früchtetee und Kaffeesahne.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. Unfortunately, the weather was just unusually warm during our stay. There was a fan provided, which was helpful, but the heat was simply a bit too much.

No ac. Not a big deal if you are outside of heatwave.

Ideally located, surrounded by bars and restaurants and close to the main train station. We even took the Bernina Express with family and friends. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy access via the key box, and there was free parking right in front of the hotel. The room was pleasant, and there was a kitchenette. A fan was provided for the summer heat.

The shower room was a bit tight for tall people.

Gegenüber ist ein Nachtclub, der bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut ist. Fenster kann man daher nicht öffnen, dadurch sehr stickig. Man hört den Lärm aber auch durch die Fenster.

L'appartamento è all'ultimo piano senza ascensore e il parcheggio è proprio di fronte al portone. Il messaggio ricevuto al check-in spiegava dove trovare le chiavi e come ottenerle. Le istruzioni del parcheggio sono all'interno della camera/appartamento. L'appartamento all'ultimo piano non aveva aria condizionata, ma nonostante il caldo afoso aprendo tutte le finestre abbiamo ottenuto una bella brezza.

This is an attic apartment with about 8 sets of stairs to ascend! Can’t stand straight in a lot of it. No chocolates even though they are in the room description. We were there on a Saturday night and the music from local venues went well after midnight- very noisy.

Great location right in the heart of Chur's Altstadt. Good size room with a private bathroom and small kitchen. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Staff responded promptly on the day of arrival and sent someone over quickly when needed. Fan provided for the summer heat. Good value for money for the location.

No response to multiple messages sent via Booking.com and WhatsApp prior to arrival only replied on the day of check-in. The key was not in the keybox at the promised time. Fridge had black hair inside including in the freezer, missed during cleaning. Ongoing renovation work was not communicated beforehand and came as a surprise on arrival. No elevator, which could be challenging with heavy luggage. Bar opposite the hotel audible until around 22:30 with the window open — no AC so closing the window wasn't ideal in the heat.

No aircondition made the room on top floor being 32C which made it impossible to sleep. A very noisy pub area around made it even worse as you needed to have the windows open.

We loved the location and it was a nice clean apartment.

Nothing was too bad, only the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and getting up the stairs with the luggage and the low ceilings wee minor issues.

Malheureusement ayant séjourné la nuit du samedi au dimanche nous n’avons pas pu nous reposer. En effet, l’hôtel est bien situé mais entouré de bars et de discothèques. Bruits jusqu’à 4h du matin Beaucoup de monde dans la rue, forte musique et dès 5h nettoyage de la rue par le personnel communal. Pas idéal pour un bon 😴

Room we were allocated is many flights of stairs and very difficult to get our luggage in place. Also there is almost no headroom - I am not tall but found it difficult to move around the room.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, ogromny taras na dachu otoczony tujami oraz wygodne łóżka.

Mieszkanie na dachu, gdzie po przekroczeniu drzwi nadal trzeba wejść po schodach do pokoju. Podłogę pokoju oraz wejście do kuchni dzielą schody i trzeba zrobić większy krok, żeby je przejść, a kuchnia nadal znajduje się dwa schodki niżej. Dość ostre skosy utrudniają przemieszczanie się bez schylania. Kuchnia i łazienka dla 1 os. max do poruszania się. Aby otworzyć drzwi prowadzące na taras, trzeba uważać na drzwi od łazienki. W piątki i soboty głośne imprezy vis-a-vis. Niestety, obiekt nie odpowiada na zapytania tylko wysyła automatyczne wiadomości.

De locatie is midden in vrij heftig uitgaansgebied. Erg veel lawaai tot diep in de nacht (van vrijdag op zaterdag). Er hing in de kamer een onaangename geur.

We stayed at Haus zum Rütli for one night as a stopover before our onward journey, and it suited our needs well. The key collection and return process was straightforward and hassle-free. Our room was comfortable, although it was quite warm. The shared bathroom and shared kitchen were very clean and well maintained. We had a peaceful night's sleep, and the accommodation worked well for our family for a one-night stay. Overall, it was a good stay, and we appreciate the hospitality. Thank you!

The only downside was that the street outside was quite noisy during the night, which may be worth considering if you are a light sleeper.

Rummet var helt ok.

Rummet var högts upp utan hiss 4-5 trappor. Det fanns ingen AC men en fläkt. Toalett och dusch fanns i ett rum mitt emot. Den var helt ok. Det var ett himla liv utanför, var där på en fredag så svårt om det är annorlunda annars.

Just as mentioned in other reviews- no door or even a curtain between bedroom and bathroom, noisy bar outside till early morning. Also we didnot have smooth communication from host - had to ask about the self check-in instructions, was not provided even in the morning of the day, then asked about luggage storage - got no reply.

There is no elevator.
