The receptionist area is tricky to find and the building is not well maintained. Many surrounding shops were closed due to not enough customers. It is hard for someone to pick me up because there is no temporary parking in front of the building

The room looks exactly like the pictures. It is quite new with nice lightings. Big screen TV with many Chinese channels options. The reception is very friendly, helpful and fast response. They will ask to add wechat, and we can communicate or make any request with chatting (usually I use google translation) This area is quite new with surrounding few of them still under construction. Next building of the hotel have many food stalls, coffee shop, McD, KFC, Dian Dou De dimsum resto. Across the street there is a big supermarket. It is convenient to stay here. The area considers quiet. It's just there are some construction nearby so during daytime there will be some noise from afar (but not loud). When making booking I left message for the hotel, requested for non-smoking room and to be disinfected since I am in the treatment stage which cleanliness & hygiene are very important. The hotel replied and agreed to fulfill the request. The check in process was smooth and the room as requested was clean and a non-smoking. Stay at 1120 I got twin bed, the size is large for single, it is the size of 1,2mtr and it is comfortable (not too soft and not too hard), bedsheet is soft and clean. Overall I am satisfied staying here. I hope the hotel has a good maintenance and keep up the good service

There are kitchen stove and washing machine. But the hotel doesn't provide any utensils for cooking (no plate, spoon, saucepan). For me I got my own so it isn't a problem. I really hope the hotel can provide at least 1 saucerpan and 1 set of dining utensils (standard provided by other hotels with kitchen facility) so that travellers can use the kitchen for basic needs.

Spacious, appliances like fridge and washing machine functions well, good air conditioning. Customer service is excellent as they reply super fast over WeChat. Daily cleaning by staff is good.

Great location and modern apartment! The apartment is clean, spacious, and has a nice view of the city. The staff was friendly, and the free shuttle during the Canton Fair was a huge help. I would definitely stay here again.

This stay experience was really impeccable! The room is decorated very comfortably, with good lighting and quietness.

The floor is so dusty till the point where your feet turns black when you walk inside the room. Moreover, they don’t take foreign cards when we were paying at the counter. The worst is that we even get to complete the transaction with our foreign cards (I was using WISE btw), they literally go through the hassle to PAY US BACK and demanded us to pay using physical cards so they are able to take a photo of the front and back of our cards. Uhmmmm that’s a huge red flag. The whole reason that they didn’t allow us to use our WISE card is because “you’ll be able to retrieve your money back”. HELLO! The transaction is completed. How am I going to retrieve it?! Last but not least, I truly thinks this “Raffles” is a “fake?” It is not the kind of Raffles that we think it is. So book with caution.

Dirty and not clean . Room was not same as the pictures enlisted . We were forced to stay for a night because of cancellation policy . Poor assessment of booking management of the property and bad rules of booking cancellations in such cases when the property services are not same as shown. It was real nightmare for us because we were with a baby and we had to look for another property during the night to move and this we did not book with booking.com

The check in process was challenging. Struggled to communicate with the staff. Payment couldn't be made by credit card. Although there is a coffee station in the room, there was only tea available, no coffee.

Plenty food

The room description is TOTALLY WRONG. Photograph and actual is 100% different. It was a photoshopped photo. Unit is old, dusty, musty, full of stains, lobby hidden behind, room noisy 24 hours with construction happening.

THIS PROPERTY IS TERRIBLE. THE PHOTOS ARE MISLEADING AND I WOULD GO AS FAR TO SAY THAT THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD.

THE ROOM WAS NOTHING LIKE THE IMAGES AND VERY DIRTY.

Close to the Canton Exhibition fair complex, the hotel includes free transfer. The staff is helpful. Room is clean and equiped with kitchen and washing machine

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE NAME, this is not Raffles 来福士 (Lai fu shi) The hotel in a clever move called the hotel 来福仕 (Lai fu shi) similar pingyin pronunciation but not the same as the international hotel chain. It's hard to find the hotel.

Problems to pay with credit card

It was just a very "average" apartment, with inconsistent hot-water flow during baths, a toilet seat that doesn't fit well to the toilet, and a kitchen with kitchenette but without any supply of pots and pans and utensils!

The construction next door was just non-stop, through the weekends and throughout the night. Yes, it was noisy even on weekends and in the middle of the night! I fail to understand now this significant problem was not mentioned in any reviews? From the looks of things the construction will take months if not years to complete, so buyers beware!

Clean, near to keylun metro

The apartment itself is very nice. The bed is comfortable and there are several areas with seating so we would get ready in one area and hang out in another. We loved the projector and used it almost every night. The shower was nice and the heat was perfect. The surrounding area had the best places to eat, drink coffee, grab snacks. We had amazing food every time we went out in the downstairs mall. Overall a good deal

The room could be cleaned better. We had to wipe off a lot of dust that had settled around the projector and cabinets. The staff which check you in and help you are not very enthusiastic which makes the process more difficult. The location is not in the central area of Guangzhou so expect to take the train everywhere, good news is it's right by the station.

There were no instructions how to find this place. The name "Raffles Executive Apartments" is not displayed anywhere. The very receptionist of the building had no clue what we were looking for and the guys at the "office" don't speak a word in English. Also, black mold is not a very attractive thing. Trying to hide it by scratching it off and painting it with a single layer solves basically nothing. There was a kitchenette but there was literally nothing to use it with. Not a spoon, not a plate, nothing.

The whole payment thing was very confusing. I had paid through booking.com but when i checked-in they asked for payment again for the 2nd day saying that the first payment will be returned. I paid it. Then at check-out they asked for full payment again saying that booking.com will return the other day’s payment as well. I wasted alot of our time figuring out what was going on. Why would booking.com take the payment in the first place if they have to return it later? It was all so confusing and took alot of time to figure out.

Rooms need a little bit of attention and cleaning

Was here for business for couple days. The location is just across the pearl river from the Poly world trade expo. The apartment itself suits my needs( I mainly want a washing machine and my room has a washer/dryer so it's good). The staff are quite friendly and help my store my promo materials pre arrival. All in all, a good experience. Worth the money spent. Would visit next time if come to Guangzhou for the expo again.

The location is convenient, close to the subway, the nearby commercial facilities are complete, and the room is very warm.

Location was off the main areas, lobby was really dirty (with trash, cigarettes on the floor). The hosts didn't seem to mind or care how dirty the surrounding is.
