Cleanliness, location and room felt like home

家族３人で4泊しました。フォートコチの中心部でとても交通に便利な場所です。近くには沢山のレストランがあります。毎日冷たいペットボトルのミネラルウォーターを提供してくださり助かりました！お部屋はシンプルですが明るく清潔でベッドシーツは綺麗でした。この価格で宿泊出来たことは大変良かったです。

インド特有かもしれませんがバスルームがシャワーを浴びるとバスルーム全体が濡れるのでトイレに行くときなど足裏が濡れてしまう。

No elevator is available, faced some difficulty in shifting luggage to room, however we received help from the owner for the same.

Location is quite close to main attractions in fort kochi, almost all places are walking distance. The host was very friendly and helpful in guiding us.

Sangeetha's husband was very helpful with our luggage going up and down the stairs and giving us suggestions and directions around the area. The bathroom was very big.

We were expecting more based on online reviews. We booked a 4 person room and when we arrived, there was one king sized bed and one single bed in the unit - only room for 3 people. When we pointed this out to Sangeetha, she said it's what we booked and dismissed our concern stating that 5 people have stayed in the suite previously by squeezing 3 people on the king bed. She also said "if you don't want to stay here you don't have to", we were taken aback by this. Two adults had to squeeze on a single mattress which led to a restless night's sleep. There is only one steep and long external staircase - plan luggage well if choosing this homestay.

The place was the very clean and its location in Fort Cochin made it easy to walk to many attractions. Tuktuks were always close by and shops to cover most of your needs. The owners daughter used her uber account to order me a ride to take me to a hotel far from the Fort so I could join my group tour. I would stay there again without question.

Een vriendelijke en behulpzame familie. De prijs kwaliteit is God. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf klopt. Ook bieden ze drinkwater aan, een erg aangename service in het bloedhete kochi!

Het is geen plek waar je je even kan terugtrekken om tot rust te komen. Het is puur functioneel als overnachting. De bedden in Azië zijn over het algemeen wat steviger, maar bij Elzas zijn ze wel extreem hard. We hebben niet erg lekker geslapen. Ze zouden wel een topper matras kunnen toevoegen oid.

Great Location in Fort Nagar, only a short walk from shops and restaurants. Light airy clean rooms, super friendly and helpful owners, who stored our bags until our night time departure and arranged a tuk tuk to the Train Station.

J'ai passé un merveilleux séjour chez ELZAS FORT iNN. La chambre était grande et confortable, les propriétaires sont très gentils et le logement est parfaitement situé, dans une petite rue au calme en plein centre de Fort Kochi. Je recommande à 100 %!

Room in a beautiful building in very central location. Enjoyed having a balcony and natural light. Place organises good value tours. The host keeps a good supply of water in a fridge for guests to take which was a real bonus.

Excellent location, I could walk to Princess st and biennale venues in less than 10 minutes. The room was very clean and had air conditioning and a fan. A fridge to keep water was available. The area is quiet and peaceful.

The toilet seat came loose and needed a bit of maintenance in my room. If you don't like a firm mattress you might not like the bed (I personally like them). Other than that everything was perfect.

Friendly and gracious host, very helpful and welcoming. Comfortable room and an excellent location with easy transport access, just a short walk from the Water Metro jetty. We overlooked the fact that the room was in upper floor of the building while making thebreservation. Since one of us had some issues in climbing stairs, the host made some arrangements to make us comfortable.

The exhaust fan in the toilet was quite noisy and may need proper fixing. Addressing this would make the stay even more comfortable.

The space is clean and comfortable. It's centrally located, so we could walk to cafes and the Kochi Biennale venues. It's on a quiet road, so the rooms are calm. The family that runs it is warm and welcoming. There are also thoughtful and generous touches, like an entire pack of mineral water bottles kept in each common room so guests can help themselves to as many as they need.

Interiors and furnishing is very simple: with some upgrades this can be a much more luxurious space, and the family that runs it can charge more. There's also a staircase to the room, that will be challenging to people with mobility issues.

Value for money

The room was very clean and spacious one. The hosts were too good and very welcoming. Even till midnight, they waited for us to welcome as we were late due to traffic. The location is awesome. We got access to everything nearby only.

Rooms very clean,and good size, beds comfortable (firm mattress(. Nice communal sitting area outside rooms with fridge. Very accomodating host allowed us to upgrade rooms when my daughter had an allergic response to damp imould in one of the bathrooms. The largest room with two big beds and 3 balconies score full marks!

Poor ventilation in bathrooms meant smaller rooms felt damp.

Excellent location, Sangeetha maam was so friendly.

Everything - The location, the room, the kindness. Sangeetha was a good host. She made sure we had a comfortable stay and always helped us when asked for.

May be climbing up/down the exposed stairs. When it rains, we need to be extra careful as it can become slippery. We were able to manage though but could be a problem for others. This is a minor inconvenience though as everything else meets expectation.

A new guesthouse with spacious and comfortable rooms. It was nice and quiet for the duration of our stay. The chilled water available in the fridge and coffee/tea supplies was a much appreciated addition.

Chose this place due to the good reviews and it definitely lives up to them. We had a triple room which was spacious and had a small balcony, ensuite and effective aircon - which was definitely needed in the April heat. The family who run it are friendly and helpful, providing cold bottled water every day and happily booked us a taxi to the railway station. The location however is the best aspect, it is 11 out of 10, within walking distance of all the sights and places to eat in Fort Kochi. We would 100% choose to stay here again.

A large clean room in a Homestay. Great location, easy to walk to restaurants and around Forte Kochi.

A little more inclusion with the owners, it felt like a rented room rather than a Homestay.

The host is super kind, building really clean and airy and the room was spacious, high ceiling and super comfortable with a little balcony. We could have stayed here for longer. Location is perfect for fort kochi exploring! Would book again.
