Gloria Cottage Non AC

Great value for money and a wonderful stay! The owner was extremely kind, friendly, and supportive. He even dropped me at the airport himself and refused to take any money for it, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, neat, and comfortable. The property is very family- and kids-friendly, with a lovely garden and backyard and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is also very convenient, with shops and other facilities nearby. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this place to others. Great hospitality and excellent value for money!

This bungalow is just a few minutes from the airport. It's located in the quiet suburbs of Negombo, a very peaceful and safe area . Also its a short walk from shops, restaurants and bus stops . Great place to stay for the airport but further more a great place to stay to see negumbo for a few days. I will use Gloria cottage again

There is nothing to dislike about Gloria cottage It's all good 👍

De eigenaars waren zeer vriendelijk. Ze regelden een tuktuk voor me die stipt om 5u 's ochtends klaarstond en me naar de luchthaven bracht. Het huis was ruim en proper.

Eventueel een klamboe ophangen tegen de muggen.

Everything was great! The place is really close to the airport. The room is pretty large with an AC, attached washroom, living room, and kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with beverages and a kettle. Property has good wifi The best part is the hosts. They waited for me despite my flight being delayed and it being very late at night. They made sure I was comfortable. It being a public holiday, most restaurants were shut, so they gave me breakfast as well. It's great value for money, kind hosts, many attractions nearby. Would definitely come back!

Incredibly friendly hosts who stayed up late to greet us after a flight Comfy bed Great air con Little kitchenette with fridge

If using Google maps, navigate to Gloria Inn, as the address on booking.com took us to the wrong bit of the street

Good place, 10/10.

Great location with comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good.

Very clean and comfortable room in a quiet area. Also very convenient to go to the airport as located close by. It was very hot in the room, even though we had the fan on. Since we had to leave at 4:30AM, we cannot comment on the breakfast.

1) The wooden front door of the house is not safe, you push it a little bit and it opens without key. The lock is very small. 2) Breakfast is a disappointment or a bad joke. Cheapskate people! I told them that giving a breakfast like this, is detrimental to their place, rather not offering anything. Breakfast is the bait. 3) location is not accurate. 4) I left the house in search of an ATM. The owner sent me this on WhatsApp: "Still waiting for you to clean the room. Pls come soon. We don't have enough time to clean if late" Like it is my job to clean the room!

Exactly as described and as the pictures show. Family is very helpful and kind.

Ideal location walking distance from the train station and about 10 minutes tuktuk ride to the airport. The room was a great size with a very nice en suite bathroom and the bed was really comfy. The hosts were so lovely and helpful, very quick to reply to messages, and even printed out a visa for me! Have recommended it to friends and would definitely stay here again ☺️

Very nice place and owner! He was very kind and helped with everything The breakfast was also great. Very good value for money :)

Great location, clean room and value for money. Nice owner and breakfast

The friendly owners placed me in a beautiful AC room on their property as it was open and I was on my own, so they wanted me to feel safe. So so kind, and an absolutely comfortable stay!

Host was extremely helpful and kind. He responded to all our requests, questions and needs. He has helped us with the adapters and even arranged tuk tuk for us to the airport, which is very close by and place itself is very quiet. Close to the train station as well. Recommend to anyone ;)

Had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
