The riad is beautiful and very welcoming. The food is delicious and well prepared, and the terrace is amazing with a great atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the staff are friendly, professional, and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved Dar Arinas and couldn't recommend it more highly! My husband and I stayed here in April and I came back this summer with my parents due to the ease with which Mereyem facilitated. Breakfast is available on the rooftop, with a beautiful view and there is a clothes hanger for anyone who needs to wash their clothes. Recently, in the last month, there is a new coffee hut that has opened, serving matchas, frappes and iced drinks- which was lovely to take on the roof. Breakfast was delicious (flatbread, fresh juice, jams, mint morrocan tea, homemade pastries) everything was accommodated for and the owner went above and beyond to assist. No doubt we will be back inshaAllah and I recommend Dar Arinas to all.

The bathrooms are slightly older, but water pressure is steady and my parents who are slightly older, felt very comfortable

The host was the best❤️ She was very nice and always was there to help if needed. Her food is a must try felt at home, my fav was the terrace view with early morning teas❤️. Very comfy and pleasant stay. 💯 Would come back next time. You have all the must visit places all in 20 mins walk distance perfect location for seeing central fes.

Finding the stay was quite difficult for first time tourists but Google maps shows the on point location.

como los baños en marruecos generan tanta humedad, nos encontramos una pequeña cucaracha, pero nada lejos de cualquier otro sitio. es cosa de las humedades que generan los baños abiertos de esta manera.

L’endroit est parfait. L’air climatisé était bien mais c’est surtout le toit qui est incroyable.

Le déjeuner est trop tard car j’étais déjà sortie avant 9h presque tous les matins.

Es un hotel muy pequeño, pero eso lo hace mas tranquilo. Desayunar en la terraza es un punto muy a su favor. Pero sobretodo, lo mejor fue Maryeme, llegué pasadas las 00:00 de la noche y aun así vino a buscarme para que no me perdiera en la medina. Se preocupó de que todo fuese bien y preparó un desayuno estupendo.

No encontré el mando del a/a en la habitacion, pero al ser en la planta baja y interior, no pase calor.

Lekker ontbijt met mooi uitzicht vanaf de rooftop. Meryeme was een vriendelijke host. Ze reageerde snel via whatsapp en heeft ons goed geholpen met het vinden van een parkeerplaats. Ruime kamer.

De badkamer had iets schoner gekund. De kamer was vrij donker, een extra lamp kan geen kwaad.

Немного затоптан пол, что вызывает не большую брезгливость. Но, если сопоставить цену и набор услуг, то в целом на что-то можно закрыть глаза.

Locatie was super, midden in de Medina! En Meryem stond altijd voor ons klaar voor vragen en 's ochtends met een heerlijk ontbijtje op het dakterras.

De badkamer kan wat liefde gebruiken, de douche liep zga niet door. Dus telkens even uit om het water de kans te geven weg te lopen. En de handdoeken mogen wel vervangen worden voor nieuwe. Deze waren schoon, maar wel wat versleten.

Carinissimo Riad in una posizione perfetta della medina,a 5 minuti a piedi dalla porta blu e facile da raggiungere con Maps.Meryem è stata un angelo che ci ha aspettato in piena notte viste le 5 ore di ritardo del nostro aereo,senza farci pagare nessun supplemento.Ottima anche la colazione servita nel terrazzo con una splendida vista sulla medina.Grazie ancora a Meryem per l'accoglienza.

l’emplacement est super et le rooftop est un vrai + le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié la chambre est spacieuse, j’étais au rez de chaussée et j’appréhendais un peu le bruit mais finalement tout était calme l’hôte est vraiment très gentille

Everything else, toilet stinks of sewage, floor dirty, hand soap is made out of charcoal.

Our stay was simply wonderful; the friendliness of the riad was absolutely unmatched and our visit to Fes was phenomenal, partly due to Mariam and her wonderful hospitality. The breakfast is particularly delicious and Mariam went out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of. She booked trips for us and also arranged for us to have a takeaway breakfast for the days we had to leave early. The beds are very comfortable and the riad was quiet and calm. Couldn't recommend this riad (and particularly Mariam) enough!

The bathroom didn't have any windows which meant it got quite stuffy in there, but nothing unmanageable!

The location is inside medina with a short walk to Blue Gate. There are good eatries and restaurants nearby. Room was clean and we got fresh breakfast everyday. The exceptional part of the stay was the hospitality and responsiveness of Meryem. She arranged a taxi for us from train station and received us at the gate to walk us to the property. We loved our stay.

The location was great, very close to the main areas. The host was available to help us when we needed it. They organised our airport transfer which was very helpful. The rooftop was very nice and our room was spacious.

The bathroom was very smelly and the shower did not drain. The floors were quite dirty. When we arrived, the host said that she had upgraded our room and then asked us to cancel our booking, which made us feel a bit uneasy. However, after having to explain why it made us nervous to cancel our booking, we accepted the upgrade without cancelling our booking and were able to still pay the original price. It was also quite noisy at night but that is to be expected given the location.

La terraza y el desayuno son aceptables.

Durante nuestra estancia, éramos dos parejas y reservamos dos habitaciones. La de la planta baja era muy oscura, sin ventana al exterior, con un baño compartido pequeño y poco cómodo, sin gel ni champú (solo una pastilla de jabón muy dura). Además, la puerta de la habitación no se cerraba correctamente y la climatización (calefacción) no funcionaba, a pesar de haberlo comunicado por WhatsApp. La habitación de la planta superior también presentaba varios problemas: fuertes y desagradables olores en el baño, ausencia de productos de higiene, aire acondicionado igualmente inoperativo y un inodoro no fijado. El estado general del riad es bastante deficiente, con paredes y pintura muy deterioradas por la humedad, especialmente en la entrada y el salón. El servicio es muy limitado: la persona encargada solo está presente a la llegada y durante el desayuno; durante la estancia no se realiza la limpieza, no se hacen las camas ni se cambian las toallas. También hay que tener mucho cuidado con las escaleras, que son estrechas, empinadas y con poca iluminación, especialmente al bajar. Además, el día de salida tuvimos que pagar 10 € para poder dejar las maletas hasta las 18:00. No entendemos cómo este riad puede tener tantas opiniones positivas; las fotos no reflejan en absoluto la realidad.

We had a wonderful stay, under the care of our host Meryem, who showed rare kindness and hospitality throughout our stay. Breakfast was generous and served either in the patio or on the terrace depending on the weather. I assume there may have been a change in management given the contrast between our experience and that of other guests. Not only is it an excellent value for money, but we highly recommend staying there, especially for its location and the kindness of Meryem. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Location is dead center in the medina of Fes, this can be good and bad. Easily accessible to restaurants, and markets. Things were clean, and the host took great great care of us.

Wifi didn't work, can be loud because of the Medina, some strange smells from the bathroom. Good, solid spot.

Super accueil à Fez, bien placé près de Bab Boujloud. Meryem était très accommodate, et l'établissement était beau (jolie architecture traditionnelle et belle vue depuis la terrasse).

The riad was central in the Medina, ideal for exploring. Nicely decorated, clean, felt traditional and the roof terrace was a bonus :-) My room was comfortable and warm with the extra blankets available. The bathroom was good with hot water and towels, though there was a whiffy drain. These buildings are old and these things happen and they pass! It is part of the historic charm ;-) Breakfast was included, was tasty and well presented, eggs cooked in a tagine was my first and I really enjoyed that, merci beaucoup! What I really liked was being immersed in the community here, I could hear families, workers and school journeys and it was also Ramadam :-) The host Meryem was super helpful with everything. I had to come a day later, she amended my booking without charge, met me to guide me to the riad and organised taxis to and from train/coach stations. My departure day it was no problem for early breakfast. I also smashed my phone and she helped get that fixed so I was charged a fair price and the screen was replaced quickly. I am grateful to Meryem.

This is not a reflection on the property but as a solo female traveller I found Fes to be quite hard going with men not taking 'no thank yous' easily. In the sense of persistently wanting to be your 'guide' for an inflated charge, taking it upon themselves to walk with you when you decline, and trying to sell you this or that. When I needed to be firm they didn't like it and I didn't like that confrontation. However, this was mainly in the older part of the Medina and I kept away at night.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato bellissimo! Abbiamo dormito 3 notti per il compleanno della mia compagna. La posizione è proprio comoda in centro la Medina, e si può raggiungere tutto molto facilmente a piedi. L’aeroporto dista circa 40 min e il taxi chiede circa 15€. Meryeme, la prioritaria è stata gentilissima, ci ha preparato ogni mattina una colazione deliziosa, abbondante e tipica! E ci ha aiutati nell’ orientamento e nel organizzazione. Ha anche lasciato un piccolo pensierino per il compleanno della mia compagna 😍😍 la camera è piccola e ha il bagno privato. Sopra c’è una terrazza con una vista su Fez suggestiva!

Nella camera c’era un odore un po spiacevole, ma forse è normale.. peccato che non si poteva usare la cucina !

L'accueil était chaleureux de la part de Mme Meryem qui nous a rencontré au portail de "Bab boujloud" pour nous amener au Riad qui jouit d'un emplacement idéal au sein de l' ancien Médina proche des principaux monuments historiques tel que la mosquée Al qaraouiyine, Medrassa Bouanania, le sanctuaire de My Idriss.... la décoration et la mosaïque du Riad étaient fascinantes , les repas servis étaient délicieux et copieux, la responsable du Riad nous a organisé une visite à la ville millénaire de Meknès et au volubilis pour découvrir leurs monuments historiques. Notre séjour était juste agréable. Merci Mme Meryem

Mariam is a very kind, smiling, and helpful host. Mariam was always attentive and available to accompany us and help us organize our stay, such as our trip to the desert. This riad is located in the heart of the Medina. We're close to a taxi stand, so we can easily access the surrounding area. Activities and excursions are offered right at the riad. The breakfast is locally sourced and very generous, making it a great place to start the day. There's a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. Special thanks to Maryam, who was extremely helpful and friendly. She explained the culture and way of life to us and answered all our questions!

Beautiful nice little place in the middle of the fez Medina. The colors and details of the space are beautiful and the rooms were very clean and spacious. Good breakfast in the morning!

This riad has very affordable prices, however our room was in the ground floor, without any natural light, and directly next to the breakfast area. There is a beautiful roof terrace that you can enter, but meals are served in the darkness of the house whose yard is covered, hence no daylight inside. So even in the mornings, the whole interior is depressingly dark, and we were woken up by other quests having breakfast literally in front of the door of our room. In our room, a number of features (hooks, door of the wardrobe, and other) were damaged. All in all an okayish but not overly pleasant stay.
