Medina social club

Sehr schöne Terasse mit Rundumblick über die Medina, besser als jeder Aussichtspunkt. Das Essen war super. Das Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sehr freundliches Personal. Abholung vom Flughafen mitten in der Nacht hat reibungslos funktioniert.

Nous avons été envoyés dans une annexe qui n’a rien à voir avec le bâtiment principal présenté sur les photos. Chambre sans aucune aération ni lumière extérieure, très peu confortable, avec une forte odeur persistante. Odeur de canalisation particulièrement désagréable dans les toilettes. Ce problème d’odeurs semble d’ailleurs revenir dans plusieurs avis mais nous n’avons pas relevé. Nous sommes arrivés tard, depuis Marrakech et plus de batterie sur nos téléphones. Sinon, nous serions clairement partis chercher un autre hôtel.

La estetica del lugar me encantó, el personal era muy amable y el desayuno completo. Recomendable

Location, cleanliness and service

De locatie midden in de medina geeft je een geweldige uitvalsbasis naar de rest van de medina. Het personeel staat dag en nacht voor je klaar om je te helpen. Ontbijt is uitgebreid. Kamer was echt uitstekend.

The staff were so lovely, greeting us with some Morrocan tea and biscuits upon arrival, and gave us a map with a very helpful introduction to all the main things to do in Fes. The Riad itself was very cute, with a lovely courtyard, comfortable rooms, and a very relaxing rooftop which is nice to go up to in the evenings to end your night. The breakfast was delicious, best we had in Morocco! I greatly enjoyed this place and would definitely stay again.

The place is centrally located, but like most Riads in Morocco, through a short alleyway. Just be mindful of people trying to guide you through to get there, as they will ask for money! That being said, the alleyway to get here was super safe, there were some young kids always playing outside, making 2 girls in their early 20s feel like it was a very family friendly location.

Le Riad est très beau. En plein cœur de la Médina et donne directement sur l’axe central de la Médina à proximité de la porte Bleue. Difficile de faire mieux. Il est magnifique avec son patio intérieur arboré. Les hôtes sont accueillants, souriants (toujours au Maroc et au Maghreb en général) et aux soins. La terrasse offre une magnifique vue sur les toits de Fès et c’est appréciable d’y déguster un thé à la menthe à la nuit tombée. Rien à dire. Séjour exceptionnel. Les linges de maison sont propres, donc on peut y aller les yeux fermés.

Klima ni delovala (je bila pokvarjena se je videlo) ni bilo daljinca in o tem naju niso opozorili in je bilo v sobi kot v savni. Kljub temu da sva sobo plačala s klimo. Hrana in postrežba na terasi katastrofa.

However, the toiletries were not enough at all. The drainage system of the pipes weren’t very good and I thing it’s because the infrastructure of the city is very old.

El personal era muy agradable y el sitio muy bonito con una terraza tranquila y con buena vista.

L'emplacement est à proximité des souks, le personnel sur place est accueillant et il y a plusieurs activités offertes(cours de cuisine, atelier de céramique etc.) Les petits salons et la terrasse sont très agréable à fréquenter. Le cours de cuisine et l'achat des ingrédients au marché a été une de nos activités préférées.

The location was amazing, especially as two women travelling alone it was very nice to have a short way home. I do have to say it is very tricky to find the entrances (there are 2) in the beginning, you really have to study the map, but once you know your ways, it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great:)

Yes it’s a little oasis in La Medina, nice terrace clean good atmosphere. The manager when out of his way to ensure I got my best trip to the desert and back.

Le personnel est tout simplement adorable, toujours souriant, attentionné et aux petits soins à chaque instant. On se sent immédiatement comme des invités d’honneur. Les chambres sont impeccables : d’une propreté irréprochable, décorées avec goût et offrant un confort remarquable. Le cadre est majestueux, authentique et raffiné, un véritable havre de paix au milieu de l’effervescence de la médina. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner marocain, absolument délicieux : un festival de saveurs locales, généreux et préparé avec soin. Un vrai bonheur dès le réveil ! Et que dire du rooftop… tout simplement magique ! Une vue exceptionnelle sur la médina de Fès, idéale pour admirer le coucher du soleil dans une ambiance unique et relaxante. Une expérience inoubliable que nous recommandons les yeux fermés. Un immense bravo à toute l’équipe du Riad Medina Social Club pour ce séjour parfait !

Il n'est nullement indiqué que le paiement se fait sur place et que les CB ne sont pas acceptées. Le Wifi dans notre chambre était un peu limité au niveau de la réception.

The hotel is quiet (depending on others guest’s politeness), even in the center of Medina. Very traditional looking, and the staff is promp and very helpful. They helped ws with a taxi to the airport and gave some breakfast food “to go” because the early checkout. The breakfast was planitful and tasty, prepared in house restaurant. The room eas clean, towels changed every day and the beds very comfortable.

On nous a bien dirigé pour le parking Parcontre il aurait été apprécié d’avoir quelqu’un de l’établissement pour nous guider.. Évidemment que quelqu’un s’est empressé de nous guider qui etait plus qu’insistant voir harcelant ce qui a rendu notre arrivée désagréable

The Riad is truly wonderful! A place cared for down to the smallest detail, welcoming and full of charm and atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay, making us feel truly pampered. The food was simply delicious: we had dinner here for two consecutive nights because we loved it so much! The dishes were excellent, carefully prepared, and full of flavor. A special thank you to Ibrahim, who made my birthday even more special. We had simply asked for a candle to use the next day, but he surprised us with a real celebration: cake, candles, and even birthday music! It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture, and it will remain one of the most beautiful memories of our trip. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart! The room was very spacious, elegant, and absolutely beautiful. And then there was an irresistible little highlight of the Riad: an incredibly sweet cat that truly added something special to the atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent: abundant, varied, and served with great kindness by the staff. A wonderful experience in every way. Highly recommended!

Unglaublich tolles Hostel, wir haben uns so wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Es war eine der besten Unterkünfte unserer Rundreise, obwohl es die günstigste war. Sehr viel Atmosphäre, sehr sauber, sehr gute Betten, freundliches Personal, perfekte Lage. Alles top, top, top.

La posizione e' perfetta, nel centro della Medina, non raggiugibile in macchina ma ci si puo far aiutare dai facchini a portare i bagagli dal comodissimo parcheggio. La struttura poi lascia senza fiato dalla bellezza. Personale gentilissimo

Le cadre est superbe. Les espaces communs sont nombreux, la décoration est soignée. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et varié au fil des jours, la cuisine du restaurant est une cuisine marocaine revisité très raffinée . La situation est idéale, en pleine médina, à proximité de Bab Boujloud.

De kamer is heel donker. Daarnaast doen ze alsof je niet met creditcard kan betalen, terwijl dit wel gewoon kan.

El sitio precioso, la gente muy amable, el desayuno tuvo, todo bien. Nos ayudaron con excursiones, guía, etc.

La cena en la terraza fue confusa, el camarero no se explicó muy bien, no había nada con carne, pero estuvo rico. Ya sabemos que no se vende alcohol, pero un poco de vino o cerveza hubiera sido genial....

Beauté et propreté des lieux. Déjeuner excellent et copieux. Personnel avenant et agréable. Excellente table le soir. Très belle terrasse.

Stationnement à l'extérieur de la Médina fait en sorte que des personnes nous abordent de manière insistante pour nous guider vers la Riad. Ils offrent des tours guidés, sont insistants, peu respectueux et nous font sentir très inconfortables. Il est vrai que l'on nous suggére de ne pas les écouter ou utiliser leur service mais malgré cela C,est très désagreable. Il serait sage et judicieux que les hôtes de la Riad nous offrent de nous accompagner vers la Riad une fois arrivé au stationnement.

C'était très beau, le personnel à l'écoute, les lits super confortables, les chambres au calme, un beau roof top et une très bonne cuisine. Un endroit ressourçant au milieu de la médina de Fes.

Midden in de medina, vlakbij een veilige en grote parkeerplaats (40 dirham /€4 per dag, vanaf daar 7 min lopen door soukh). Mooie kamer, fijne sfeer, leuk dakterras, prima ontbijt en heel aardig personeel ! Om de hoek heel lekker eten op mooi dakterras, Fondouk Bazaar. Via receptie een 4 uur durende rondleiding met gids Mohammed gedaan door de medina. Interessante weetjes afgewisseld met bezoek aan houtmuseum, veel commerciële bezoekjes aan leer , zijde, keramiek, pharmacie etc. Kopen kan je beter in de kleine winkeltjes in nauwe straatjes doen, zeker helft goedkoper . Gids is €50 voor 4 uur.

De douchekop is plastic en zodra je de kraan aanzet valt deze uit z’n standaard. Dus je moet m zelf vasthouden of je hele badkamer is nat.

Prachtige Riad, mooie rooftop.

We kregen een andere kamer in een Riad ernaast. Deze kamer was vochtig, geen afzuiging, badkamer zat vol zwarte schimmel en de afvoer stonk. Wastafel zat los, en was heel onlogisch ingedeeld. Je kon de deur niet opendoen als iemand voor de wastafel stond. Toen we aangaven dat de kamer stonk deden ze niets. Geen haakjes om iets op te hangen. Het brood bij het ontbijt was hard.

no shades for the rooms, difficult to talk or ask info to the staff, quite cold during the night. Not too easy to find (the taxi they provided left us outside of the medina and it was tricky to find alone in the narrow streets). Also none of the social activities listed where going on while we were there

Friendly staff, beautiful courtyard, and very clean functional room.

The room was a little tight for our family of four but very adequate for a two-night stay.

La location e la terrazza ,l arredamento e le vibes in genere. La gentilezza dello staff ,giovane e attento il personale. La colazione e la cena erano molti.buone.

Non mi è piaciuto la presenza di muffa in camera la presenza di un purificatore d’aria non ha risolto l’odore di chiuso e l’umidità la nostra camera era posta al piano sotterraneo solo una finestra sopra il letto ovviamente chiusa. Chiasso e schiamazzi tutta la notte

De Riad heeft een zeer leuke locatie, waarbij het algemeen gedeelte prachtig is.

We verbleven in een kamer in het gebouw langs het hoofdgebouw. Hierbij waren er enkele zaken die we minder leuk vonden: - Beneden was er een soort algemene ruimte, wat zorgde voor geluidshinder en dus een slechte nachtrust - We hadden geen warm water (enkel lauw) en er zaten kakkerlakken in de badkamer - Op voorhand was de communicatie moeilijk - Je kan enkel betalen met cash (ze zeggen dat hun apparaat toevallig niet werkt, maar in de reviews te lezen kan je altijd enkel met cash betalen).

Très joli palais, chambre spacieuse et lit confortable. Parfait pour visiter la medina. Acceuil et services impeccable ! Merci ❤️

Las zonas comunes son muy bonitas y te invitan a relajarte. Dispone de un patio interior con vegetación y un ambiente íntimo. La terraza de la azotea está muy bien ambientada y tiene buenas vistas, además tienen un bar arriba donde puedes comer o cenar tranquilo tras el bullicio de los zocos. El desayuno muy bueno. La habitación que nos tocó, la Andalous, es grande y con vistas al patio.

El día que tuvimos excursión solicitamos el desayuno para llevar y era un poco escaso, pero hicieron el favor de prepararlo. El último día cuando entregamos las llaves nos comentaron que teníamos que pagar la estancia en efectivo y nos hicieron ir al cajero a sacar dinero, aunque habíamos hecho la reserva para pago con la tarjeta.
