Ottima posizione per visitare il Connemara. Location scenografica

Host privato inesistente!!!! Abbiamo fatto delle richieste: asciugamani, riscaldamento (era tra i servizi offerti) e non ha mai risposto. Il lavandino di uno dei due bagni era intasato ed eravamo in sette, quindi, il bagno funzionante era indispensabile, ma lo abbiamo dovuto stasare noi. La pulizia discutibile (capelli nel letto). Menomale che il Connemara è bellissimo

Stunning home in a beautiful setting! Beds were so comfortable, facilities were brilliant. Felt like a home away from home!

It was there other that not much

It was obviously a poorly refurbished older building with several other smaller holiday lets built or being built around it. The building finish was very poor the rooms small and cramped. The heating was turned off but luckily we managed without it. The kitchen cupboard doors were also falling apart.

Various issues with entry key and heating. Hosts managed both problems, but it obviously affected our stay. Suggest that heating starts up prior to guest arrival. Crockery incomplete, we were 4 and managed, but 6 people would have struggled.

Wir sind mit meiner Frau, zwei Kindern und meiner Schwägerin angereist. Grundsätzlich sind wir wirklich nicht kleinlich oder übermäßig anspruchsvoll – aber in diesem Fall müssen wir leider eine klare Bewertung abgeben. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Apartment in einem absolut unzureichenden Zustand. Es war offensichtlich nicht gereinigt: Der Boden war schmutzig, der Herd nicht geputzt und in den Sanitärbereichen befanden sich Haare auf den Toiletten. Auch die Betten waren nicht sauber – es lagen noch Haare und Brösel darin. Insgesamt wirkte alles unordentlich und unhygienisch. Wir haben zunächst versucht, selbst etwas zu reinigen, mussten aber schnell feststellen, dass der Aufwand in keinem Verhältnis stand. Daraufhin haben wir Booking kontaktiert, unser Geld zurückerhalten und kurzfristig ein anderes – deutlich teureres – Apartment gebucht. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir, dass die Gastgeber gut erreichbar waren und sich bemüht haben, eine Lösung zu finden. Dennoch ändert das nichts an der Tatsache, dass ein Apartment in diesem Zustand nicht an Gäste übergeben werden darf. Gerade nach einer langen Anreise mit zwei kleinen Kindern – in unserem Fall aus Tirol – ist so eine Situation extrem enttäuschend. Wir führen selbst Ferienunterkünfte und legen größten Wert auf Sauberkeit und Ordnung. Genau das erwarten wir auch, wenn wir selbst Gäste sind. Diese Bewertung soll keine Übertreibung sein, sondern entspricht leider der Realität vor Ort

Tolle Lage!

We liked everything about the property. Nice calm location with ocean view. Had few basic items for the cooking which we didn’t expect. Full fledged kitchen with the utensils. Staff was very supportive, provided the baby chair which was very useful for us to feed the kid.

Only issue was WiFi was on and off for some time, may be it’s the area, all good otherwise.

The views were excellent and the house is located in a quiet area.

The sheets were damp, and we had to strip the beds and put the sheets outside to dry fully. Ensuite very small. Small apartment right beside and behind the house, so not much privacy.

We enjoyed the view and the location. It is a comfortable house for a group of six adults.

There was only one pillow each in the main bedroom. The hand soap dispensers in both bathrooms were broken. There was very little toilet paper for a house that can accommodate 8 people. The towels can be replaced with newer, bigger towels and maybe include extra towels. There was only one kitchen towel provided.

The location was perfect and the views are fantastic. The beach is just a short walk from the house. We really enjoyed our stay, hope to be back again soon.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We visited this place duirng Christmas times. The location is absolutely stunning and situating in a peaceful neighbourhood. We requested to facilitate extra glasses and utincils prior our visit there and Len was so generous to kept everything ready on the day we arrived. The place was super clean, cosy even without much need of heaters on winter times. The house is big enough to fit to 8-10 people with kids easily. The location would be much nicer during the summer and we have no second thoughts of revisiting in summer again. We had good relaxing time thanks to Dave and Len !

Everything were absolutely satisfying except there was a heating system issue had happend just before the day we left. But that was a minor thing and Dave tried his best to fix it.

Location was absolutely stunning. Gorgeous views and easy access to walk down to the sea, and walk to the local pub that did delicious pizzas! Very close to Spidal and a Tesco also 5mins away so easy to get what you need. The bedrooms were a good size and true to the photos. The sitting room was cozy and would be lovely if you were lighting the fire (it was roasting the weekend we stayed). The dining room was also a good size and fit the 5 of us comfortably.

The house felt like it might have a damp problem. We were there for a really sunny weekend and you could still feel it but it did look like it may have recently been decorated so maybe it's a problem they've recently tackled. The wardrobes and drawers were very wobbly in some of the rooms and the kitchen didn't have great crockery or utensils etc but we didn't spend that much time in the house so it was okay. They were doing building work on the grounds so there wasn't really anywhere to sit outside comfortably which was unfortunate because the location is so gorgeous. We took picnic blankets from the car and sat on some concrete blocks which was still nice.

Beautiful property and owners were very responsive to questions.

Bed linen and towels were of an excellent quality. Inside was lovely, clean and well maintained and is picture perfect for a booking website photos

I feel this property may have been listed too early as It’s a construction site outside the front and back doors. The TV wasn’t connected to an aerial and no information for Netflix etc. radiators are installed but no instructions on how to use them. The tiles in the bathroom are extremely slippery with such a high bath to climb in and out of and dangerous as bath mats etc don’t hold on their glossy surface. Kitchen cooking equipment -saucepans, frypans etc - not big enough/suitable for a large group in a 9bed house. Limited cooking utensils, no basics such as tongs, a spatula etc. 20 different sized water/drink glasses but only 1 oversized wine glass. A security ??? light outside one bedroom window that was on all night, lighting up the room like the middle of the day. A coffee machine but no instructions or pods. 2.5 toilet rolls provided for a booking of 5 for 2 nights.

It was a nice location. The inside of the house matched the photos.

It was disappointing we were not advised about the construction around the property. We had different construction people outside the house throughout the stay which was uncomfortable as we traveled with a toddler. It was a fine place however didn’t meet expectations regarding price. We had to buy our own toilet roll, kitchen foil, dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent. The house had a very strong damp smell. And the main bathroom had black mold. We brought frozen food prior to check in and the freezer was not working so some of the food went to waste.

Beautiful location

Lack of wine glasses, no sweeping brush for the floors, skeleton cooking utensils, check out at 10am sharp, onsite work going on at 8am ish with noises of building machinery.

Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, plenty of parking space, quiet with lovely sea views, great stay for a group.

No plugs by beds for lamps etc. Seems like work still in progress. Only 2 wine glasses. No mirrors in bedrooms

The location was really beautiful. The house is spacious and well-equipped (the kitchen is furnished with everything). Everything was clean. There is a nice pub, 10/15min walking distance.

It would have been nice to have two plugs per bedroom (one on each side of the bed) instead of one, and two bedside tables.

Location - short walk to the sea with sea views from the accommodation

The property is undergoing building work, the outdoor area is unsafe for children. Whilst we were able to check in early it wasn’t made clear a digger would be working right outside the door. Whilst the owner offered a refund if we didn’t want to stay this wasn’t an option at short notice Easter weekend for 8 people. Inside plugs located in the wrong place.

Very spacious house with ocean views out from window. 2 minutes walk to the ocean. Excellent location for sight seeing and close to Galway. Big bath and under floor heating and all necessary amenities. Local pub nearby and fantastic/welcoming people.

Some renovations outside the house which spoiled the view a little bit.

The property was very good, and Dave and Len were very helpful.

It was very clean, comfortable and everything worked perfectly. It was nice and warm too with fully stocked presses.

Would have been nice to have a compiled book explaining things about the house, owners were responsive and kind but I felt bad needing to reach out.

Clean, spacious, comfortable and good value for money. Showers were great. Extra table and chairs provided, wouldn’t change a thing!

The property is in a very quiet location and was perfect for us to travel about Connemarra. Inside it was spotlessly clean and comfortable which is always a plus.

Outside the property looks like it is a work in progress. Unfortunately the hosts didn't mention that there is building works going on around the house. Unfinished patio, no garden area. If it had been the summer months it would have been very unpleasant to sit outside. It states that it is Ocean View, this is only possible if you take a stroll down the lane. There was quite a few items that seemed to have been left over from previous guests, opened jam, sauce etc. which is not particularly nice. The inside of the house was comfortable but lacked some attention to detail.

Wall plugs in bad location, bedrooms had lamps that you couldn't plug in.

Building works on site, the artificial plants, artificial air fresheners, no bedside lockers or lamps, poor location of sockets in bedrooms. Not good value for money overall and very disappointing in general.

Modern house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms and a seaview. Good place to stay if you have a car. Short walk down to the sea.

Very comfortable, clean, good location, excellent facilities everything we needed for a home away from home. Convenient for Tesco shopping. Good parking. Quite location.

Shower cord in en-suite too short for little old me to reach.

Exceptional location, beautiful finish in the home.

Loads of space, very clean, comfortable beds & good shower. Location was also ideal with a short walk distance to ocean. Owner had everything set up for us. Self check in and out was very handy for us. We all as a group collectively enjoyed our stay.

Only two bar stools in the kitchen.

Short notice, managed to get everything ready for us, could not have done more. Thoroughly pleased with our stay..

Nothing to dislike, few tweeks needed, but time will do this .
