Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Eine netter Essraum mit Küche und ausreichend Platz. Es war immer Brot, Honig, Marmelade uvm da, auch genug Geschirr. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett groß und bequem.
Wir waren 5 Tage dort und bekamen leider das Zimmer neben dem Parkplatz (Autolärm), ohne Aussicht. Oben wären noch zwei Zimmer mit Meerblick gewesen. Das Quartier ist etwas abgelegen, ist aber okay. Überteuert für 100€ pro Nacht.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026The room was comfortable with great views overlooking the sea. Whilst it is a bit out of the main tourist spots it was easy enough to get about by car and on the bus. There's a small Tesco nearby if you need any food and it was lovely that the hosts provided breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay here again when we're next in Ireland

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Die Lage war super, von der belebten Küstenstraße hat man nichts gehört. Alles war geschmack- und liebevoll gestaltet. Obwohl self-catering gab es Kaffe, Tee und kleines Frühstück gratis. Supermarkt um die Ecke. Colm stand uns bei unserem Mietwagenproblem hilfreich zur Seite. Kurze Entfernung bis Galway und ideal den Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara zu starten.
Wir hatten Raum 3, der einzige der das eigene Bad nicht im Zimmer integriert hatte.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026La struttura è pulitissima, molto accogliente e arredata davvero molto bene. Ci si sente subito a casa. La mattina veniva preparata una buona gamma di prodotti per poter fare colazione in autonomia. Venivano messi a disposizione prodotti per la doccia, asciugamani, asciugacapelli e persino ciabatte di ottima qualità. Veramente un posto perfetto dove trascorrere qualche giorno in tranquillità.

Location may be an issue since it’s located far from the city center and not many shop/restaurants within walking distance Bed in the triple room may seem past its life cycle, felt old and not very comfortable but good enough to get some rest.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026pleasant and clean. The host graciously provided continental style breakfast which was not expected. The refrigerator was very organized with a dedicated shelf for each room as well as common storage ( for condiments, etc). Tesco 5 minute walk around the corner. Coffee press as well as coffee provided in the common area. Sitting area very comfortable. Good water pressure.
Although an effort was made to secure the sides of the shower curtain, it still allowed water out and onto the floor. A minor inconvenience that did however consume one of the provided towels to mop up.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Très jolie demeure cosy, chambre confortable bien équipée. La cuisine est assez petite, plutôt réservée à un petit déjeuner ou un repas très simple à faire réchauffer. Mais nous nous sommes adaptés, d'autant qu'il y a une supérette tout près. Nous avions réservé 3 chambres, donc il n'y avait pas d'autres clients que nous (le côté cuisine partagée nous interpellait un peu !). Très agréable séjour.

Jacqueline was lovely, and when we had a health scare our first night (ended up being minor but we weren't sure in the moment) she went above and beyond and stayed up late with us to reassure us and make sure we had all we needed to get it resolved. Our stay was excellent, and Jacqueline's kindness and hospitality made our time there truly exceptional!

We are very grateful for her help. She even put out a small breakfast in the morning. The location is beautiful and we found it to be a perfect in between to visit Galway at night and take our trip to the Aran Islands.

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Jacqueline. Tout était très bien organisé. Un salon salle à manger cuisine est accessible aux occupants des chambres. L'on peut accéder au réfrigérateur et au placard pour y stocker ses victuailles. L'on peut cuisiner et manger sur place. Jacky met à disposition tous les matins de quoi déjeuner même si ce n'est pas prévu dans la location. Le cadre est magnifique, très proche de la mer. C'est un pied à terre entre le Connemara et le Comté de Clare qui permet de se rendre rapidement vers des hauts lieux touristiques. N'hésitez pas.

Obwohl self-catering angegeben ist, stellt die sehr nette Gastgeberin insbesondere für das Frühstück etliche Lebensmittel (auch frisches Obst) in der Gemeinschaftsküche zur Verfügung. Hervorzuheben ist außerdem die wunderschöne Lage nahe am Meer (Wild Atlantic Way), aber auch ein großer Supermarkt mit umfangreichem Angebot ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2025This was beyond expectations. - clean, clean, clean!! - amenities provided made me think of an old Hyatt hotels slogan, “we thought of everything”:soft huge towels, lots of pillows. Bath amenities, welcome note. Room was spacious - with lots of windows and natural light - even in bathroom. - overlooking a tranquil field with cows gently grazing on the hillside. - thoughtfulness continues with the kindness of coffee, tea and a few pastries and fruit in the morning. - sitting area is cozy with a fireplace, reading material, maps, and a beautiful dining nook overlooking the garden. I can go on and on!!! Amazing value for money. Jacqueline and Colm- you are small enough to keep it warm and personal. But big in comfort and value. 😊 Heather.

We also took the bus into Galway one day and it was very easy. The house itself is clean and has everything you need. Great value for the money and the host was so lovely and helpful. There’s a nice walk to the beach and plenty of cows around. Would definitely stay here again!
