Bilal Bhai is a great personality. His whole family behaviour was very kind and helpful with us.I don't think I could have met a person like that anywhere in Srinagar.Thank you so much to your whole family for great hospitality 🥰🥰

I stayed in Kashmir for six days, yet not for a single moment did it feel like I was in a hotel; it felt just like my own home. There is no one quite like Billal Bhai; he is truly an extraordinary person. He assisted me by constantly providing information, treating me like family. You can stay at Billal Bhai’s guest house without any hesitation; I am confident you won't be disappointed.

I really appreciated the warm hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms, and the peaceful atmosphere. The host was exceptionally kind, humble, and always available to help whenever needed, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it felt like a home away from home.

Bilal bhai is a great person. He made us feel like home. Room was very nice and clean too. The kawaah chai he served us with coconut biscuits was delicious, a must try.

It’s a lovely house with all the facilities needed. Very clean and comfortable and the family that lives here is very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is delicious and we loved the Kashmiri tea and bread.

The location is very comfortable, making it easy to visit all the places at any time.

Honestly, I have never met a person like Bilal Bhai. I visited Kashmir on 2nd April, and from the very first night in Srinagar, his kindness stood out. The weather suddenly turned very cold, and he immediately provided us with a hot water bottle and an extra bag to keep us warm and comfortable. The next day, when it started raining, he didn’t hesitate to give us his own jacket. He also guided us on how to avoid scams at popular tourist spots, which was extremely helpful. Every morning, he would offer us tea (Kahwa) and biscuits without charging anything. On 3rd April, when he realized that the continuous rain could make us sick, he personally called us around 3 PM and insisted that we return early to stay safe. we even extend our stay because of him only. His hospitality goes far beyond expectations. Even though we were not guests at his hotel, he treated us like family members in his own home. He would check on us every hour to see if we needed anything. I truly believe you won’t find a better host than him in Srinagar. Yes, the location is a bit away from the main area, but renting a bike makes it easy to explore and enjoy the city. One thing I can say with full confidence: at this price, you won’t find a place like this. In fact, forget the price—you won’t find a host like him anywhere. Thank you, Bilal Bhai, for everything ❤️

Bilal Sahab and his family are great hosts and wonderful people, they really made sure that I feel comfortable and welcome in their home. And I was happy in their cozy house, where I could find both peace and privacy, but also ask for help and advice on all things touristic of Kashmir. Location is great and very central, about 10 mins walk from the famous Zero Bridge, and I walked to Lal Chowk from there as well. A 24/7 Supermarket nearby. Room is very nice, with very clean and convenient bathroom, a common hall with a dining table provided additional space. I am very grateful for Bilal and his family's hospitality and tact, and hope to be back soon!

Nice location, friendly host, and good home cooked dinners. Mr. Billal arranged tours by private cab to various destinations at reasonable rates and a friendly driver, Mr Altaf.

The propery owner Shri Bilal treated us like his family member. During the shoot out at pehalgam he was constantly in touch with us to ensure our safety. During our stay (4 days) we actually felt what the Kashmiryat really mean. He is one of the gems among the kashmir people. We will never forget the days we spend in his homestay. We really wish kashmir soon revert to nomalcy and enjoy the hospitality of kashmiri's like Bilal once again.

There was nothing that we did not like. The area where see green huest house is situated is a very decent area. and absolutely safe.

We had a short stay here but it was everything we needed for that. The owner was lovely and very hospitable! We had an early start and he was lovely and had some coffee ready for us before we left! The rooms are clean and spacious enough :).

It was a great stay in Sea Green Guest House. It was like as if you were staying at your own home. The ambience and the decor were absolutely flawless. Bilal Bhai and his family are so gentle and warm hearted. The Kashmiri Kahwa served was amazing. The breakfast with Kashmiri Bakery Roti was a super treat. Each and every aspect of the service was immaculate. A big gratitude to Bilal Bhai and his family.

I liked the property owner's cooperation and behaviour. Cleanliness was very good. Construction is also new.

First of all I would like to thank Bilal Sahab and family for being such a wonderful host. Bilal sahab is a gem of a person . Starting from the booking process he has been spot on about the communication and hospitality. This place should not be categorized as a hotel or guest house , if you want to feel like your home this is the place. Bilal sahab and family treated my family as their own family . I booked this place for my parents and relatives , they were very happy with all the services provided. The guest house is very well maintained and all the facilities were superb. If I could rate this place out of 10 it would be 20. Thanks again Bilal Sahab and family for such a wonderful host.

Very friendly and hospitable owner with good communication. Great, clean ensuite bathroom with plenty of hot water. Located in a quiet neighborhood but close to main street with supermarket, ATM, restaurants, etc.

The bed was perhaps a little hard for my liking, although others might prefer that. The host did what they could to help make things more comfortable for me though, which was appreciated.

Bilal Ahmad, his wife, and his mother were amazing hosts. They helped me with my sim card and offered me tea & biscuits several times. They were all caring and always concerned about how I felt and how my day was. The room was clean, wifi worked great, hot water, had breakfast and dinner there, it was really delicious.

Everything right from the extra effort Bilal bhayya takes since we touch down in srinagar to take off, he is genuine to help the guests in every possible way. Be it the special Kehwa and Cake with cookies he offered on our day of checkin and making sure we feel alright the moment we enter the room by switching on AC on a tiresome hot days of srinagar, these few things stood out for us. He helped us in all ways possible be it cab, auto, bike rental etc.

The guesthouse was one of the best decisions during our stay at Srinagar, Kashmir. The location, hospitality, and other ambiences made us feel at home. Mr. Bilal, the owner and host is a gem by heart. He was incredibly good host, attentive, willing to help with any little or major requests. I was a solo traveller and felt welcome. The room was spacious and well ventilated with a clean bathroom and hot water. The stay is the most economical, I could find in Srinagar. The host Mr Bilal was always with a smile, eager to help and know about our local experiences, at the end of the day. He has all the right connections to support you with the taxis and deals. Infact he helped me buy kesar and also took me on a trip to pari mahal, when he found out that my taxi tour guy hadnt shown it to me. Over all, very courteous as an Indian host can get. Felt like part of family. Zomato delivers food to the house. Linen were clean and there was plenty of storage space. Very calm place especially at night. Reasonable Internet connectivity and Bilal is always around to help with his mobile number as pre paid sims don't work. No hidden charges, unlike other hosts.

1.Frequent power cuts, with the invertor supporting lights . 2. The rooster and hens clucking early morning , like a natural alarm.

I've booked this home stay for 3 nights on booking.com for Mid May 2024, it is a very good home stay and owner Mr.Bilal Bhaiya is a very genuine and nice person. He also provides home food(break fast, dinner) at a very reasonable price. He also helps in guiding you in places around. The room is very clean and well maintained. Don't miss tasting the home food that is provided in the stay at a very reasonable price. The location is also very good and is very much near to local market and zero bridge.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel from May 12th to May 15th, 2024 Despite the room’s modest size, it was the very clean and in order, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The bathroom also maintained good standards of hygiene. The hotel’s overall maintenance was commendable The hospitality extended by the owner was truly commendable. He was helpful throughout our stay. He also arranged transportation for us at a very affordable price. This gesture significantly eased our travel concerns and allowed us to explore the area without any hassle. The homely food served at the hotel was good and affordable, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the owner and his wife for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful budget stay filled with great food, excellent service, and warm hospitality.

Located in heart of Sringar , it is more of family home rather than guest house. Room and Washroom are very clean . Nature of host and his family is very welcoming. If available , look no further and proceed to book .

The owner & his family were very kind towards me & did their best to make me feel comfortable. They were helpful in arranging transport for sight-seeing and dropping me at the airport.

The nights were too cold for me (mid-march). In the future, I would arrange to visit towards the end of March. At that time, tulips will be in full bloom and nights less cold:)

Nice and compact facility, reasonably priced, is located near city center and Dal Lake. Hot water for drinking and bathing available round the clock. Mr Bilal is a very good host, looks after all the requirements of guests to make the stay comfortable. Facility will be more suitable for winter, if they install better room heating facility even at a slightly higher tariff.

All was perfect

Mr. Bilal and his family offer a warm, friendly and authentic option for travellers in the RajBagh district. While the area has various shops, grocery stores and restaurants, the guesthouse is tucked away from the main road in a quiet residential area. We were very happy to walk around the city at our leisure to the old city (one hour) or Dal Lake (thirty minutes) and return to this sanctuary later on. The accommodation is new and very well maintained. You can see that this family takes great pride in their home and they treated us like family. The room itself was impeccably clean, comfortable, hot water was always available and extra blankets and hot water bottles were on hand to keep us warm. The dinner meals are home cooked, tasty and exceptional value, so we ate almost all of our meals exclusively at Sea Green. We had a good sampling of various veg and non-veg meals. Tea was also available throughout the day for a modest fee. Sea Green really hits the mark and was such a great experience that we extended our stay to over a week. Many thanks to Mr Bilal and his family for such a lovely stay!

Stay experience was very pleasant. We were considered as family. As this is a homestay, we don't have to worry about anything. The place is very neat and clean. Very budget-friendly. Kashmiri kawa, tea, biscuits, cakes, hot water bags were provided as complimentary. They offered us two extra blankets to keep us warm. The taxi cab provided was very good. Arif bhaiya & Sohail bhaiya were very pleasant tour guides and took care of everything. In short, it felt like a "home sweet home for us in Kashmir❣️". If we are visiting Kashmir next time, this will surely be our place of stay.

The host is very very friendly and kind. He looks all the time that you feel like home and not in a hotel. It was very autentic and we could see the cashmiry life. The dishes were really tasty. He also knows a ecxellent guide and a perfect driver. You can trust of all them.

Bilal and his family have been very welcoming and caring. We felt like home at their guesthouse. The room we had was new and everything was super clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and close to main bus stand and city centre. Bilal organized a pickup from the airport as well as a drop-off to the bus station. All in all I can say that we had a great stay there. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Bilal was an amazing host. He was always asking if I need anything, and happy to help. I really felt included and a part of the family. He checked in when I was out late with friends to make sure I was safe. The room itself was incredibly clean, the bathroom was nice with reliable hot water heater for the shower. The location is within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops, close to city centre. The food they serve is amazing home cooked Kashmiri / Indian food. Coffee/tea/kava and biscuits are also available upon request. All this is optional of course, but I would say it is worth it, the food is for a very good price. Overall, it was an excellent stay. I only booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 5! Would highly recommend this place, and I will absolutely stay here again when I come back to Srinagar.

I asked to do my laundry and Bilal took it to a local friend of his. The cost was very high, and it was returned wet and not all folded. However, this was not Bilal's fault, it was the fault of the laundry guy. Bilal saw that I was upset about this, so he offered to hang the wet clothes on his personal line outside. He even helped me pull some of them inside when it started raining at 3am! Super grateful.
