Villa Sea View

地理位置在城堡以外，没有汽车的喧嚣，只有海浪拍打岩石的声音，楼下的房间在装修，希望很快可以投入使用，海景很治愈，房东人非常好很乐于帮助，有任何问题都会第一时间解决！房间就在海边但是并没有想象中潮湿，很喜欢，下次来加勒一定还住在这里！

相信装修之后一切都会更好，没有什么需要改进的！

旅館接待室在嘈雜的馬路邊2樓 一個必須走上又窄又陡樓梯的密閉昏暗小空間 然後又要下樓穿過一條僅容一人的狹長窄巷到後面海邊 再爬樓梯上二樓房間（有兩間） 旅館招牌很小 掛在小巷口 很容易錯過 沒有平常旅館門面的樣貌 白天還好 天黑後有點可怕 那條窄巷點著紅色綠色的照明小燈 感覺怪怪的 還要經過四五間好像沒人住堆著雜物的小房間 旅館房間四周茫茫漆黑一片 左右望去似乎都是廢棄的空屋 海浪聲及海風日夜呼嘯 一張大床佔了房間四分之三的空間 無窗 動線侷促不舒服 木門有點鬆垮鎖孔鏽匙有點鏽蝕 覺得似乎沒什麼門戶保護 超沒安全感 （當晚只我一個人住在那海邊）

Lit de petite taille et pas très confortable. Les draps sentaient le renfermés. Bruit de machine à laver pendant une grosse partie de la nuit, pas très agréable.

気になるほどではないが、あえて言うなら ・シャンプー、ドライヤーが部屋にないので、気になる人は持参した方がよい ・シャワーとトイレが同じ空間のため、気をつけて浴びないと便器や洗面スペースがビショビショになる。でも、水はけがよいためすぐに乾いた。

設備、清潔感や眺めが最高でした。立地もとても良いところにあります。 宿の方々もとても親切で素敵な方々でした。 夕飯も朝食も最高に美味しかったです。 Galleに来たら必ずまた来ます！

Darshi is a pocket rocket and has created a lovely place to base yourself while you explore Galle. Great ocean views, close to a variety of restaurants and shops, and walking distance to fort and cricket ground. We chose to eat at Darshi's restaurant and the food was great. A whole family affair, it was a joyful and positive place to rest.

Un excellent séjour chez Darshi ! ❤️ Elle est solaire et extrêmement positive, elle a une famille accueillante et sympathique, des enfants charmants, intelligents et talentueux qui l'aident à gérer ce petit coin en bord de mer. Nous avons passé d'excellents moments en leur compagnie, ils sont de bons conseils et la nourriture était exquise 🤤 L'hébergement se situe très bien car proche du Fort (le lieu le plus intéressant de la ville).  Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir chez Darshi si nous repassons dans le coin 😄

The villa owner is lovely. She was so friendly and helpful. She taught us how to make hoppers and sorted out a tour the last morning so we didn't miss it when ours didn't turn up. Her breakfasts are awesome

The room with sea view was amazing! The location is very good just a 5 minute walk from Galle Fort. The host was the most lovely person and went above and beyond for us. Would recommend to everyone!

The view of the ocean is amazing. Close to a big supermarket and the Fort is a 20 min walk away. The host is very friendly and helpful with our early check in request.

We saw a cockroach in the bathroom. The window in the bathroom also cannot be closed.

The host was really nice and accommodating. The food was excellent. She even let us access one empty room after we checked out so we could change and shower before going to the airport.

Honestly I can't find anything bad. It's not luxurious maybe but for the price it's more than what you pay for .

Breakfast were great and the dinner we had onsite were very good we wish them all the best in the future. Great family

Le camere di Villa Sea View sono la soluzione perfetta per un soggiorno a Galle. La posizione é ottimale: a 5 minuti a piedi dal Forte. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e curate in ogni dettaglio. Inoltre, la ragazza che gestisce la struttura è gentilissima, simpatica e attenta. Anche se avevo prenotato la stanza piano terra ci ha fornito una più costosa al primo piano con vista mare senza costi aggiuntivi. La colazione inoltre é buonissima. Davvero lo consiglio a chiunque.

Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Die Gastgeberin, Darshi und ihre Familie haben sich so herzlich um uns gekümmert. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und Klimaanlage. Darshi hat uns ein sehr gutes Abendessen gekocht und auch das Frühstück war traditionell und echt super. Man sitzt beim Essen direkt über dem Meer. Es war fantastisch und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Location was perfect! Everything in Galle was accessible by foot. The closest to a seaside property you ever get and with a delicious meal served by the lovely host family!!!

Location was nice right on the small beach and very close to the fort area. View was excellent from the balcony, This is a family run business and everyone in tbe family are nice, friendly and helpful. It was raining hard when we got there and the husband and elder son helped us with tbe luggage. The owners were kind enough to provide us with power adapters.

I think the advertising is a little misleading. The access to this property is through a narrow alleyway with no vehicle access. Secondly the room on the first floor that we were initially assigned really has no usable private balcony. It is basically a passage. Luckily there was a room available on the second floor which did have a private balcony. The room is small and could do with a little more shelf space. However overall a good place for couple of nights. Avoid if climbing stairs is an issue. Not sure if there are any rooms on ground floor.

Finally arriving after an endless journey, arriving at Villa Sea View was like coming home away from home. The family running the place make you feel incredibly welcome and looked after. Within the first minutes of arriving we felt we could let go of the journeys tention in the presence of our newfound Sri Lankan mother. The food is delicious, the sound of the waves is hypnotising, but most of all the people are friendly and comforting. Mom even packed us a snack for the continuation of our journey. Thank you again!

Everything is perfect

Absolutly the sweetest host ever! Darshi and her family are warm and welcoming people. She makes you feel home away from home! Darshi is very caring, her breakfast is amazing and the room (we were staying in the room without seaview) is very comfortable and clean. Having breakfast with a beautiful garden and sea view, the perfect way to start the day. My mom was feeling sick and Darshi helpt her so well. We are still grateful for that. She is one of those people who gives that little extra care, with a big smile and positive energy!

Amazing property with a great views of the sea. Easy walk to Galle Fort. Darshi was very attentive and an excellent host. The room was very comfortable with AC and hot water. Fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Very soothing and peaceful place to stay. As two women travelling we felt very safe here. We had the best fish at their restaurant. Highly recommend trying the restaurant and their breakfast with a sea view! They also helped us find the AC bus to Colombo and gave recommendations to assist with our trip. We would stay here again. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay here, Darshi and her family are fabulous hosts, we had an evening meal and breakfast here, both were very tasty and delicious.. We had a room with sea view, the room itself was small, but ok for a short stay.. the bed was comfortable.

The host of the villa is wonderful, always so happy and interested in how your day has been. The food was fantastic, the fish I had for dinner was the best I'd had in 3 weeks of being in Sri Lanka and the hoppers for breakfast were equally delicious. Definitely worth getting a sea view room. Walking distance to the fort area, I definitely recommend this place.

Sehr saubere, bequeme Unterkunft in Gehweite von Galle Fort und Bahnhof. Trotz der zentralen Lage hört man keinen Straßenlärm. Ich empfehle die Zimmer mit Balkon, Meerblick und Klimaanlage. Leckeres Frühstück. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und mit Leidenschaft bei der Sache - wir haben sogar einen Snack für die Weiterreise bekommen.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb des Galle Forts, was wir aber bewusst so ausgewählt haben um auch weniger touristische Stadtteile kennenzulernen.

Thanks Dashai and family for hosting me. I was warmly welcomed into the house and was able to check in early due to early arrival. View was fantastic. Room was spotless clean. Like the design with an outside door for some privacy. Had a lovely chat with Dashai but had to cut short due to other guests coming. Would come back again in the future and highly recommend to everyone 😊

Wundervolle Unterkunft direkt am Meer. Galle-Fort sowie der Bahnhof sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gut ausgestattet und auf Wunsch mit Meerblick. Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber!

Its great view

This was the perfect start to our holiday. We were picked up at the airport by Oshi and warmly welcomed by Dashai. The room had everything we needed with good shower, very comfortable bed and a view to die for! It was very quiet and we went to sleep to the sound of the sea. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Dashai even gave us a cookery lesson which was great fun and we learnt some good tips for cooking Sri Lankan food. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. They organised a great day out visiting a tea factory (fascinating) a lagoon, turtle sanctuary and jungle beach. They even drove us to our next destination in Mirissa. If you want to experience real Sri Lankan hospitality then stay with this lovely family. Dashi was an amazing host. She looked after us like family. I had the King Room with sea view and air con. It was very comfortable. We did a cooking class with Dashi, cooking some amazing Sri Lankan food for dinner for us and our friends. Location is walking distance to the fort which is a must to visit and short drive to some Lovley beaches. I would definitely recommend staying here in Galle and would do so again just to play another game of carom with Dashi and her family and eat more of her lovely food.

Love the personal experience that I had and the attentiveness to the needs of our stay. We were given some great recommendations for places to visit in Galle and also around Sri Lanka. The rooms were also really nice with the great addition of mosquito nets, multiple powerpoints and hot showers. Undoubtedly one of the best things about my stay was the view and also having a one on one lesson on how to play the game 'carom' (a mich loved game in Sri Lanka). After learning it, my friends and I had a game, which was a great way to spend the night. Another great thing was the vicinity of an ATM and a supermarket nearby. Finally, the breakfast was fantastic and very filling. My personal favourite was the egg hoppers and the platter of fruit. I'll be recommending this place to my friends in future, especially how close it is to the Galle Fort and the cricket ground.

All photos listed on Booking matched where we stayed. The owners were extremely friendly and upgraded our room to a room with complementary A/C which was very pleasant and generous. Breakfast was amazing with the view and we enjoyed the convenience for travelling to Turtle Beach and other nearby amenities. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We will be back 👍🏻

I don’t understand why anyone would give this accommodation a low score. It’s the responsibility of the tourist to do their research before booking/staying anywhere and we were very happy to stay there because all of the information given matched our research prior to our stay.

The host truly made this experience everything! She greeted me with a huge smile and instantly felt like family. My room was quiet and clean; exactly what I needed. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk to Galle fort, a basic budget hotel and is a bit old... which is made clear in the hotel description. There is a huge grocery shop and ATM just across the road which is super convenient and they have a restaurant in the hotel as well. It says beachfront and while it is in front of the beach, that part of the beach isn't swimmable... it's more of walking area and is so beautiful! The host, Darshi (spelling?) and I enjoyed deep conversations over sunset... talking about happiness, life and balance. They helped me to book train tickets, navigate Galle fort and gave advice on how to get to the airport. Honestly spending time with Darshi was the highlight- true Sri Lankan hospitality!

Excellent location, close to the train and bus stations, within walking distance to the city center and it's markets and near all touristic attractions in Galle. The property faces the sea and offers beautiful sunsets daily, the rooms are big and comfortable, fans and AC available, big clean toilet.

Très bon établissement, le personnel était très gentil et aux petits soins. Une chambre avec une magnifique vue sur la mer, la chambre était très propre, rien à dire. Et le petit déjeuner était très bon.
