Privacy of the sunset beach villa. The daily (twice) snorkeling trips included in the price. The complimentary spa massages included in the Kanifushi Plan for every 4 nights you stay. The staff is mostly great, friendly and try to accommodate the requests or needs. If lucky, one can find turtles nesting on the beach and the first time hatched turtles reach the sea.

The Kanifushi plan was not being implemented on our extension booking, requiring some negotiation not without friction. Few restaurants included in the fee - Spice (buffet), a vegetarian à la carte and a ceylon/Sri Lanka also à la carte. The amount of spice/chillies in food even when something is said to have none. The absence of room service for meals during the day, late meals at night or even a decent breakfast that doesn't cost USD 110 per person. The massages, other treatments and most of the water activities are also pricey for what is delivered. The island is quite long and the sunset villas are the most distant from the main restaurant and activities areas, but the frequency of transportation is inconsistent and sometimes 2 or more buggy shuttles travel in the same direction, leaving one without transportation even if there programmed departures.

We were blown away by our stay. From the moment we arrived in Male, the sea plane transfer was arranged for us seemlessly and once we arrived on the island we were looked after by every person in every category of staff. Hansi our super organiser and Ihu our amazing dive master and guide get special mention but we were so well looked after by everyone in each of the restaurants especially the chefs who took the time to cater to one of our number needing gluten free - Ceylon doing so especially! The diving and snorkelling were exceptional and we were lucky enough to see some truly amazing things which will stay with us for ever - the boat was always punctual, clean and the captain and all the dive team were fantastic. The spa was stunning both visually and with how the treatments were provided. Our rooms were kept immaculate by our Nepalese housekeeper who also provided a beautiful floral welcome. The buggies transporting us around were frequent and the app worked brilliantly and we even made the security team work when we left a phone in a bar after hours and they could not have been more helpful. This was a 10/10 stay and we would like to thank everyone who made sure it was.

Our stay in Kanifushi has been a truly wonderful experience. We have enjoyed it immensely, both thanks to the beautiful facilities and, above all, the exceptional service provided by the entire staff. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which made our experience even more special. The villa was beautiful and incredibly comfortable, with every amenity you could possibly imagine to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We would especially like to highlight the kindness and attentiveness of the whole team. We have also been very lucky to have Shasha as our manager. He has been extremely attentive and proactive throughout our stay, always available and quick to help with any questions or requests we had. A special mention also goes to the buggy drivers, who were always incredibly friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The professionalism and genuine hospitality of the staff made our experience truly memorable. We leave Kanifushi very happy and grateful, and we sincerely hope to come back in the future.

Stay: 17th to 22nd July Villa: 225 (Kanifushi Beach villa with private pool) As a little girl watching an old sitcom from 1965 "I dream of Jeannie", gave me hopes and dreams of finding a Jeannie myself marooned on an island. Little did I know at the time that years later on my honeymoon in Maldives that dream would be realised with not 1 but 2 Jeannie's of our own named Hansi and Shehani! Atmosphere Kanifushi is a dream come true! Right from picking us up from the airport to transfer to seaplane to the resort on this island and back, we experienced hospitality and luxury like never before. With 7-8 restaurants/bar to choose from and each serving the finest delicacies and high end drinks to 2 infinity pools to soak the Maldivian sun in, everything was top notch. Multiple snorkelling trips to different reefs, motorised or non motorised water activities offered by their very own dive centre and eco friendly bicycles to explore the island at your own pace and if too warm to pedal then regular buggies to pick you right outside your villa to anywhere on the island. The highlight was our villa with semi private beach and a huge private pool.. Room service happened twice a day which meant the only time the room was disheveled was when we were inside the room :D mini bar stocked daily with finest (soft and hard) drinks and snacks to savour. If the high end resort amenities weren't enough, our 2 Jeannie's Hansi and Shehani spoilt us silly! They were at our beck and call during our entire stay and ensured our stay/Honeymoon on this little island becomes a memory to be cherished for the rest of our lives. 1 of our bags got swapped with another passenger on the carousel belt itself which we realised 4 hours later and informed if they can help somehow. Anywhere else in the world, we know the answer to that question but Hansi/Shehani/Atmosphere Kanifushi had a different stance to our problem.

L’attenzione al cliente da parte dei membri dello staff è sicuramente il fiore all’occhiello della struttura: un encomio particolare va rivolto ai camerieri, agli autisti delle navette e agli housekeeper. La spiaggia della reception, il cibo non è il solito degli all inclusive ma anzi ogni giorno diverso e delizioso.

Le foto delle camere sono un po’ ritoccate sugli spazi esterni, essendoci molti alberi la sabbia davanti alla camera è piena di aghi e robe varie portate dal vento che non rendono comodo il passaggio. Inoltre la spiaggia delle camere è molto ventosa non è adatta per fare il bagno è un peccato.

Tappanyaki, Pier 6, cycling the island, kids/teen area had been invested in, including sport courts, diving and water sports staff and amenities, spa.

This is our 2nd visit and whilst some staff provided good service, the service overall had declined significantly. Accommodation is tired and doesn’t feel luxurious compared to other resorts stayed in. Drinks service round pool was almost non existent and it felt like it was an effort for them to serve. 3 yrs ago this was a totally different experience, hence why we returned.

açıkçası beğenmediğimiz pek bir şey olmadı fakat rezervasyon yapmadan önce orada hangi mevsim diye dikkat ederseniz daha hoş geçen deneyimler yaşayabilirsiniz çünkü oradaki yaz kış bize göre daha farklı.

The food in all restaurants was exceptional. The staff work tirelessly to ensure you are well looked after and nothing is ever too much. There is also the right amount of activities on offer; not too much that you feel you missed out, and not too little where you are doing the same thing time and again.

This is only my personal preference. I do not, and cannot drink wine or beer. Though the in-room mini bar is very well stocked, I did enquire about another alcohol beverage but this was not supported.

The Island is beautifull and very well maintained The Beach Villas are amazing with great white sand beaches and sunset front. The staff are kind. Great SPA Ceylon Bliss (Sri Lankan kiosk) was good and a nice way to have some snacks before dinner

The food quality could definetly be improved, overall just avg/low quality - not a 5* standard, imo. The Sri Lankan, Indian and Maldivian dishes are ok, all the rest just below expectations. The buffet is at a avg 4* level in my opinion. Sunset restaurant for lunch its ok for dinner (we went for A La Carte on of the nights) it was bad... The food was not even close to ehatbit was suppoused to be. Just Veg was as well below expextations - its not easy to make a complete vegetarian menu shine, and Just Veg was the proof of that. The curries were nice tho. The beverages AI package is extensive but lacks the premium feeling, and the consistency standards when ordering the same drink in different places across the resort are inexistent.

We visited for our honeymoon and it truly was the most incredible holiday we could have hoped for. Our overwater villa was absolutely amazing – spacious, private, and beautifully maintained. Musam did a fantastic job with room service and made our stay even more enjoyable. What really made the experience exceptional, however, were the people. The staff went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Boran, who drove the resort buggy, was such a kind and genuine person. He quickly became a familiar and friendly face, and it was always a pleasure bumping into him. Sometimes we would even skip taking our bikes just so we could have a quick chat with him. His warmth and positivity made a real difference to our experience. We also have to mention Sawai, the chef responsible for the naan breads in the restaurant. Not only did he make the best naan breads we have ever had, but after I casually mentioned that I was missing a particular curry from London, he kindly prepared it specially for me in his own time, despite it not being on the menu. He was incredibly thoughtful and always made sure we were eating well and enjoying ourselves. We cannot wait to return – not just for another amazing holiday, but also to see all of the wonderful and helpful staff who made our honeymoon so memorable.

I stayed in the Presidential Villa, and it was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable for my family. The villa offered stunning views, excellent privacy, and a truly luxurious experience. I would also like to sincerely thank all the staff for their outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and warm service throughout our stay. A special thank you to the chef for preparing fresh meals for our baby every day, which was greatly appreciated and made our stay even more comfortable.

The food quality was good, and there was a wide variety of options. However, the dining experience seemed to cater more toward guests who enjoy Asian cuisine. While the food was enjoyable, I felt that the international selection could be more diverse, as some dishes tended to be repeated throughout the week.

this place is like heaven, all staff are so friendly. we stayed water villa with pool and it was perfect to watch sunset from there. going to restaurants by bike was so sweet. because we celebrate our honeymoon, they provided us some gifts such as bubble bath, honeymoon dinner. those are all made us feel special. pier six became our favorite for both breakfast and dinner. sunset was a good experience also for dinner. spa was so good, they gifted us 45 minutes massage. all seaplane transfers and everything was done perfectly. i hope to stay again there.

The food in the Spice Restaurant could and should have been better. The sushi in the Tepenyaki restaurant was poor. Steak and lobster ok.

Sadece ben beach villada banyo açık olduğu için ve kertenkeleler gördüğüm pek rahat edemedim ama kapalı muhafazakar bi banyo o konuda rahat edersiniz. Her kişiye bir personel atıyorlar ve tüm konularda sizle çok ilgileniyorlar ve temiz, Azuhan beye teşekkür ederiz

Atmosphere Kanifushi offers exactly what you'd wish from such a resort - a great all-inclusive package with great service and attention to detail. The staff was very kind and helpful. I'd like to say a special thanks to the chefs, particularly chef Deva from the Sunset and chef Dhan from Pier6, who took great care of us and made sure the food was prepared safely and adequately for my wife, who has a serious seafood allergy. This meant a lot to us and showcases how the staff take the needs and wellbeing of the guests very seriously.

The complimentary drinks menu was comprehensive but the quality of the drinks, especially the mocktails, could have been better. The tennis court was booked out for 2 weeks during the morning and evening times, when temperatures are best for playing, but the people that reserved the court sometimes didn't show up. We still weren't allowed to play even in such instances, which was frustrating.

The location, service and F&D at the hotel are exceptional. Having a Customer Relations manager (Shasha) assigned for us was very helpful. The care at the village was superb (Akash), and island transport always friendly (Foran). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Initially our room was not as expected, it was resolved but it affected the arrival experience.

Absolutne všetko bolo úžasné, určite by sme sa chceli vrátiť. All inclusive program so šnorchlovacími výletmi, nemotorovými športami a masážou je úplne skvelý. Odporúčam.

Am stat 7 zile si niciodata nu s-a facut curat in jurul vilei, erau doar frumze uscate si vegetatie cazuta din pomi. Plaja era plina de alge si curatrea ei se facea foarte sumar. Mancarea este acceptabila, nu foarte diversificata. Fructele exotice au lipsit cu desavarsire.

Personalul a fost amabil și receptiv

Mâncarea( prea puține variante și în fiecare zi același lucru) apa și plaja cu multe alge și nisipul nu era curat…nu a fost plaja de Maldive

Jsme na tom samém místě podruhé, poprvé bylo vše dokonale. Bohužel nám tentokrát byla přidělená plážová vila na velmi exponovaném místě kde se stavěl novoroční stage a každý den byl velký hluk . Jinak je vše ostatní maximálně v pořádku, jen nám přidělili nevhodný pokoj. Prostě na Maledivy nejdete aby jste poslouchali brusky a kladiva každý den, speciálně ne s malým dítětem.

Great location , amazing snorkelling , good room facilities

We clearly felt racial prejudice from the staff. This was a major downside of this resort , and the first time (and first resort) we experienced out of our 5 visits to Maldives. And not just one or two staff member, but many times we observed especially reception staff and water sports. Room service staff was very good and so was restaurant. Being a 5 star we did not expect this. The staff also seemed over worked and tired and less motivated. Water sports company was also not good or considerate with tourists, purely transactional unlike our past experience in Maldives.

We would not go back even if the stay were free. For our group of 5 adults and 2 children (aged 8 and 3), we booked 3 rooms for 4 nights and paid a total of €18,100 — roughly €1,500 per night. For the room with one adult and one child, we paid the same as for a room with two adults. To start with, when we arrived at Malé airport, things seemed a bit disorganized. We were left waiting there for a while before being taken to a lounge where we stayed for barely two minutes. When we arrived at the hotel by seaplane, the welcome was nice — the drum greeting and the tour you gave us around the resort were pleasant touches. It seemed like the hotel and the team were going to live up to our expectations. For context, we’ve previously stayed at two resorts in the Maldives: Constance Moofushi and One&Only Reethi Rah. Our first disappointment came at the buffet lunch on the first day — almost all the food was spicy. What was supposed to be an international buffet felt more like a cheap Indian restaurant. The à la carte restaurants weren’t much better. Furthermore, there is a BIG problem in every restaurant on tagging allergens in food. This was a complete mess, with specially gluten and dairy products being wrongly tagged or not tagged at all. We would never advise an allergic to come here AT ALL. In fact, one of our children is allergic to gluten and in the main restaurant he was served wheat pasta (it had bad consequences for the kid). The waiters and cooks have no idea about food allergies. Next, the beaches didn’t meet our expectations either. They were full of seaweed and coral, making it almost impossible to walk comfortably on the sand. Another disappointment — not to call it a trap — happened when we went to the diving center to book a snorkeling excursion for the next day. We were told that the snorkeling trip was included in our package, and they tricked us into selecting a paid one without telling us beforehand.

Everything was perfect, the people here are very respectful, they are warm, they are wonderful. New Year's Eve was magical, we felt very good and we enjoyed it a lot. Congratulations for the organization, you are wonderful. We will come back again, for sure! Our house with the pool was perfect. Congratulations for the way you treat everyone! Bravo! Thank you for everything!

Insel generell, Privatsphäre trotz 160 Zimmern, Personal, Aktivitäten, XMas & Silvester waren AMAZING, vom der Organisation über die vielen Lichter, Parties, das Essen etc. Was alles „inkludiert/eingepreist“ war, das Essens Spa ist der absolute Oberhammer und die Massagen top

Nichts grosses, alles war top. Ändern würde ich den Stil (alles vereinheitlichen Bsp Dekoration/Möbel in den Restaurants), mehr Kinderfahrräder, die Musik war tw sehr laut & wir hörten sie von der Bar auch noch im Zimmer am Abend, es störte uns aber nicht gross, da wir immer müde waren und keine Einschlafprobleme hatten.
