Overall, this was far better than I expected. The room was clean and spacious enough, and the food was awesome. When we visited, the resort was quite crowded, so there wasn’t much peace and quiet around the dining area. Despite that, it was a 10/10 experience overall.
the path to the hotel is too narrow.
The hotel staff were amazing, friendly, and very respectful. I highly recommend this place because of their great service.
No sports activities
Location and facilities with fantastic hospitality.
Liked everything.
Clean, great value for money and amazing staff!!
The distance from Kathmandu city
very late check in. I reached there at 2pm, but i got my room available at 6 pm. my room electricity went off, and i had to wait 1 hour to get it fixed. and there was no any other rooms available to shift me into. when i asked for any complementary gesture for my disappointing stay, no response was given. sorry, i expected better
It is one of the best places to stay in Katmandu. It is away from the noise of the city next to a very nice national park. The staff are amazingly nice. Food is great. Especially the restaurant on the top floor is just amazing. The rooms were very comfortable as well. Highly recommended.
Loved it all.
The view is the only saving aspect of this property.
The night manager lied to me. Initially told me premium room was same as the king suite. I had booked one king suite and one-one bedroom suite. He tried to tell me a premium room is same as the king suite then told me the king suite will be in other building and me and my party can’t be near each other. Then he put me in one bed room suite that had stains and smelled so much like beer. It was the dirtiest run down suite I have seen. Stains everywhere and worn down. Hallways are rundown and freezing cold. There is no space you can hang out as a family. There was a college orientation going on and we got harassed by the kids during breakfast. There was no separation or care that other customers have to interact with 100 college students and for morning breakfast it is like a canteen.
Amazing rooms with the view ♥️✨ The staff are very careful , when i asked to provide the room with the bath 🛀, they upgraded my room to bigger one with same price and beautiful view The breakfast was also super nice 😊
The staffs were amaizing , specially BHAWANA , CHUDA and Manager Rakesh .
There were some but acceptable.
The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was beautifully light and spacious, and I slept very well. I did not have the breakfast although it looked and smelled delicious. The evening buffet I had once, it is was well priced and tasted good. I do think the staff were the highlight however as they really did attend to every need and I had some good conversation with many of them.
My spa experience was not so good. On the first day I received a massage and it was just very poor. What made it worse was that as soon as the "service was finished" as my masseuse put it, she instantly asked me to fill out a feedback form. Other than that the rest of the spa facilities were okay.
Amazing property and great value for price!!
Needs more lounge chairs and umbrellas by the pool.
There is some small problem with the rooms facilities. But you will find a very pleasant experience with staff there are so kind and very much caring. Specially a very kind lady who works at the restaurant. Dear pushba . Wishing all the best for her and other staff members.
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. When we had an issue with our room, they resolved it by upgrading us to a bigger and different room. When we had an issue with the dining, the Director of food and beverages, Mr. Sadana, took the matter in his own hands and resolved it right away. only two things to be noted is that the property is a bit far away from Kathmandu, and we had issues with the room air conditioner. but overall it's a very nice place for the price
Great area, great service, breakfast really good, front Manager really helpful.
The view from our room was amazing. The weather was perfect and cooler. The staff was friendly. Namita was so sweet and amazing when we checked in.
Took a long time for our bags to reach our rooms and also when we checked out. The breakfast could use with additional international items, not only indian.
Kind staff
Great view of Kathmandu valley , hence naturally quite away from the center but it's worth the hassle. The hotel is surrounded by great hills, you get fresh air outside. Great swimming experience as it was very well maintained ! Staffs were great, I don't remember names exactly, except for Shristi Bhattarai, and Salma and Ajay, who were great at reception and spent considerable time to address my queries and were also very professional. I learned that family members below 13 can enjoy free meal which kind of increases the expenses pressure on hotel's side I can imagine that, but it should also not deteriorate the quality of food options.
Breakfast and dinner options can improve a lot by upgrading the prices higher for buffet options. Most customers seem to go for buffet options.
It was a very good stay
Breakfast was good with different variety of foods. Location was also good. It was very scenic.
The cleanness and the view from the room
Approaching road is narrow. Also little bit far from the city
For a 5-star and IHG-branded hotel, this place really needs renovation. It doesn't look or feel like a 5-star hotel. The staff were generally polite, but our first experience at the restaurant was very disappointing. The food wasn’t good, and we were even served raw chicken dumplings, which we only noticed after eating. This kind of mistake is serious and shows the hotel needs to improve, especially since it's an IHG property. the restaurant staff member was so sweet that we couldn’t even be upset. Even with these issues, I would still give a better rating because of some amazing staff. There was one chef (I didn’t catch his name) who really impressed me. I asked for cheese, and even though they said there was no cheese station, he later brought me some anyway. That kind of thoughtful service really means a lot. The rest of the restaurant team were also kind and helpful. They also gave us a free room upgrade and a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs some upgrades and better-quality control to meet true 5-star and IHG standards.
Service was great 👍🏽
Very nice hotel with incredably friendly Staff and great view over the city. Quietly located place 15 minutes from town
Hotel has upgraded the room as described in booking.com. It was simply the booking.com mistake.
The Booking.com listing was inaccurate—the room and its amenities did not match the description.
The people that work there is very nice, kind and gentle, is a nature area and thats amazing.
You just have one reception for 3 buildings and they explaning me just the people that request premium room can stay in the building where is reception and restaurant, totally bad. If I dont ask about cleaning changing rooms they dont. I was far of everything and spa close at 8pm...very bad if you come of tours late night. Recommendation for breakfast continental breakfast not only indians visit. The place is nice and new but it doesnt mean because is new doesnt need maitenence, you have a fridge compltely empty in the rooms and I felt I was apart of services. Need to improve and hv reception in all the lobbys, no one show me or explain to me the timing of breakfast or for spa...better customer service. People at restauranbt do a great job.
The way to the property was not proper it was in construction because of that we had lot of trouble in reaching out to the property and breakfast was also not that much good I didn't like it at all.
Food and service in restaurant
Pool was not working Location is far from the city center To go to spa we have to walk outside the building
A heaven to live in, a little away from the crowded city. Fresh air, serenity, hills and spectacular view of entire Kathmandy valley. Leisure at its peak
The only downside is that it's little away ( 30 minutes drive) from the downtown. But that's a small price to pay for a quiet vacation with a some swimming and great food.
The kindnest personel ever met
Rooms are joined with internal doors. When kid was crying we heard it in the evening
Everything. Excellent rooms and food.
Nothing.
It’s really good
Nothing
Rooms were clean
Food was very dissapointing
Lovely hotel but unfortunately a wedding was taking place at the same time as our stay so it was very noisy. The staff were great and the restaurant was good too
Calm and quiet kind and professional staff
Quite and peaceful
Clean, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful stuff members
Massage was very unprofessional, in the massage room “the not so soothing music” (it wasn’t sooting at all, it was like music from a Halloween movie, raising your anxiety type with piano ) was on and off every second in the room. Sound system must be faulty! And I could hear loud male voices from outside, loud laughing and conversations ! So it wasn’t a relaxing atmosphere and the massage was not deep tissue it was rather amateur, oil and rubbing.
The staff of this hotel is professional and truly knows what hospitality means. If you book the hotel, expect staff that is well trained and providing service at a high level. We felt heard and well treated by the professionals in all segments. The hotel is located in a calm area. It is close to the National Park (there is an entrance and guide fee), the wonderful Budhanilkantha (which you should visit) and the stupa (a climb of around 45 minutes). The hotel is great in all its facets, however it does not represent the true Nepal experience. It is however a comfortable get-away in Nepal.
The hotel can’t prevent this, but: other guests. A loud tv banging after 22h can happen. Or kids running up and down the non-isolated, echoing hallway. Guests that long to talk loud on the hallway. It can happen. But we also experienced a day were we were practically the only ones in the hotel.
It's a standard Holiday Inn experience, but nestled in the northernmost corner of the valley. Rooms are clean and comfortable and all the usual facilities you expect from an international hotel brand are available. Perfect for a quick getaway from the everyday hustle of the city without needing to exit the valley or leave the city.
Big and nice hotel, just 10 minutes from the national park - great location if you would like to make Al some tracking or hiking. The staff is nice and professional.
I suggest to have non-lactose milk for such hotel level. They did not have any alternative milk for lactose intolerant guests.
Lovely hotel but barking dogs all night prevented a good night sleep.
Location, Hotel Staff from the Main entrance to the manager
2 suggestions 1. Redsign bathroom keep. After sower water all over the place 2. Add local food to the menu and increase the menu list. Because it's quiet outside of the city if the stay is longer, we need more variety of food every day.
Its a beautiful property away from the down town, so quite hard to get reasonable transportation, they must have a transportation in-house paid facility to have an smooth travel friendly resort. One think to mention during our stay mr. crystal(duty manager! I probably pronounced it wrong) , Ruji, salma, sudip, chef NEVIKA puspa they literally made a positive impact. Spa therapist are amazing too. In breakfast buffet paneer stuffed chilla and egg white and broccoli was loved by wife even though it wasn't included during our 2night stay however surprise for honeymoon couple on request was impactful! Must appreciated everyone! 🥰
Very nice location . Food was good . Staff were very helpful.

Beautiful location
We encountered so many issues during our stay. Staff were very pleasant and did their best to help but managers were nowhere to be found. The TV in our room wasn’t working properly, the sofa bed was broken, the bathtub was dirty, the room service food was delivered lukewarm, the crispy chicken burger was not crispy and was mushy with no flavour, there was only one robe in the room, calls to reception and room service were unanswered and we had to go to the front desk to find someone. The staff we met were courteous and very friendly and really wanted us to have a good stay - but they were powerless to do anything and when we checked out a day earlier than planned we were told to wait an hour and a half until a manager was on site to discuss a discount. Similarly when attempting to fix the TV, we were told that the IT manager would be in the next morning. This is a newly opened hotel charging very high prices in Nepal and surely management should be there to help troubleshoot any teething problems.
