We stayed in this apartment for five nights, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The host was extremely kind, welcoming, and always available. A major advantage is that he lives upstairs, so he was readily available whenever we had questions or needed assistance. The steep stairs in Amsterdam can be challenging, so we especially appreciated his help carrying our luggage, which was very thoughtful and far from taken for granted. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. In addition, the location is simply perfect for exploring Amsterdam. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

The apartment was nice, clean and pretty much as described. Its also in a good location.

My only complaint is the stairs that lead to the apartment. It's insanely tight and honestly unsafe (especially if you are 6ft or have luggage). I don't think the host does enough to emphasise how bad these stairs are when you are carrying luggage, or walking downstairs (I had to crouch when going down the stairs). There needs to be a picture included in the listing at the least.

Great location. Washing machine was very useful. Had good kitchen supplies. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Walking distance to everything.

The stairs are extremely steep and narrow. While it was noted in the description, the reality made getting luggage up and down 2 floors difficult for 2 fairly fit 60s people.

Easy to find and get the keys with the lockbox. Great location. On foot, just 3 minutes walk to the metro, 15 mins to the Museum district and 30 mins to the city centre/main train station. Loads of pubs and restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed with fan in the room and really good shower Good sized kitchen and living area Timely communication from the owner

Not a huge problem, but would have liked a mirror on the chest of drawers in the bedroom for doing make up (just one in the bathroom which steamed up with showering) We travelled with rucksacks, so the narrow, steep stairs were not an issue for us, but I wouldn't recommend if you have large heavy cases or mobility issues.

La disponibilité + la gentillesse des propriétaires et leur sens de la propreté. La literie était aussi qualitative !

Tout était très bien, toutefois il est dommage de ne pas avoir de radiateur dans la salle de bain, un chauffage d’appoint pourrait être proposé en hiver.

La ubicación excelente. El piso cómodo, limpio y muy práctico. Hay que tener en cuenta que debido a la ubicación del piso y tratarse del centro histórico de la ciudad, las escaleras son estrellas y empinadas. También hay que tener en cuenta que las paredes son finas y se escuchan los ruidos de los vecinos así como los propios. Recomendaremos este sitio sin duda!

מיקום הדירה מצוין. במרחק הליכה קצרה ממטרו קו 52 ומחשמלית 4. סופרמרקט כמה דקות משם. הדירה ממוקמת בקומה שניה, והמדרגות אליה תלולות מאוד. מעבר לכך הליך קבלת המפתח והשארתו היו פשוטים. בדירה חלונות שנפתחים במלואם ומאפשרים אורור מצוין, מטבח נוח מאוד לעבודה, מכונת כביסה ומתקן לייבוש כביסה. המיטה נוחה מאוד. במהלך השהיה המים במקלחת לא נוקזו כמו שצריך וקלייר טיפלה בנושא באופן מידי ופתרה את הבעיה. נהנינו מאוד ובהחלט נחזור שוב!

בקלות ניתן היה לסדר שולחן אכילה. לא נוח לשבת לאכול ליד דלפק צר.

Bruyant, l’insonorisation est mauvaise entre les appartements, on entend énormément les voisins.

A localização é boa.o apartamento tem um conforto aceitável.

Não gostámos do acesso ao apartamento, deveriam ter feito menção às escadas .Nunca o teríamos alugado,dado que somos um casal de 66 anos. Devido a esse facto nunca nos sentimos seguros , numa emergência não se consegue sair de lá. Também nós foi dito que iriam dar o contacto do proprietário (,e nós pedimos) para o caso de haver algum problema.o que não fizeram, apenas no último dia mandaram um e-mail a dizer o que fazer às chaves.

The apartment is exactly as described, the location is perfect next to the metro station and makes it ideal. It modern, clean, is well equipped, … a nice place to stay in Amsterdam!

The bed was less comfortable than desired, the stairs are tight as mentioned so keep that in mind.

A cozy apartment in one of the typical narrow houses of Amsterdam. The location is in a walking distance of all major sights with great connectivity through metro and trams. The apartment is suitable for two and the washing machine in the apartment is a bonus. Anyone coming with a few large suitcases should prepare themselves for a bit of a climbing :)

The neighborhood was excellent, sited right near quiet canals. It was a great place for an evening walk. Tram and metro connections were very close, and there were lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. In summary, it was a quiet, residential refuge right beside a vibrant urban concentration providing all the services.

All older buildings in The Netherlands have steep and narrow staircases, but be prepared. This apartment, up two flights, is not suitable for older quests or people with physical limitations or several pieces of heavy luggage, Heed the warning. I have provided a few minor observations to the property that could make a stay more enjoyable.

Unfortunately we did not stay at this property because it was impossible to access it because the two sets of stairs which were very steep . This meant we could not take our two suitcases to the apartment we had booked and paid for .

We were very disappointed that we could not stay in this apartment as we had travelled 24 hours from Australia . To find that there was no possible way to carry our cases up two flights of steep and winding stairs . We are a couple in our seventies and consider we are very flexible but this was impossible .

Lovely apartment, close to art museums, and many restaurants. The hostt was very responsive to our queries. It's definitely worth a stay.

Clean, spacious and well appointed - bonus having a washing machine. Vitor one of our hosts was very user friendly and helpful answering questions - which alone is a reason to stay at Riverbridge Suite. The apartment is within easy walking distance of attractions, supermarket, restaurants and transport - like a one stop shop.

It’s not a ‘dislike’ about the property, but as some other reviews have noted the two lots of stairs are very steep which I suspect is the both the reality and experience of houses in the Canal District. The stairs are fine with an overnight or weekend bag/pack but difficult with a 20kg suitcase - that said one of our hosts Vitor and his neighbour Ron helped us. A big shout out and thank you to you both for you kindness

Top floor and the three flights of stairs were more of a ladder than actual steps. Difficult to get up with big suitcases

The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. The location was also really convenient as it is walking distance from everywhere

It might be a bit noise if the neighbours upstairs start talking at night or early in the morning. Walls were everything and you can hear everything, that being said, we did not have any problem with the noise but if you are picky with this, it is better to know

The bed was à bit small (140cm) for me and my wife (we are used to very large bed) but that s was fine for 3 nights The stairs, like main of the building in Amsterdam

The apartment is located in a very good area with many restaurants, bars & cafes, and it is clean and well equipped. We had a very comfortable stay.

The stairs up to the 2nd floor with extremely narrow and spiral stairs. But considering that almost all buildings in Amsterdam have this type of stair, I can easily recommend this apartment further.

The apartment was nice! Pictures accurately reflect the layout and space. Very clean and space to put our stuff. We liked having the separate bedroom and living area. We did not cook, but the kitchen was well stocked for our use (snacks, drinks, coffee). The host was very responsive and provided excellent instructions for finding and entering the apartment. Quiet hours are specified and honored, which makes for a great night sleep! GREAT location near main museums, Metro, trams, and restaurants. We felt very safe in this area at all times.

The stairs to access the apartment were very steep and narrow. We were able to manage with two carry on size suitcases, but could see where this could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues or lots of luggage.

The stairs were very narrow, there were no cleaning services, no garbage bags, no trash near by, there were stains and dirt in the carpet and the sofa, the owner came before 12:00 pm and entered the apartment with no pemmican, he didn’t allow us to wait for our uber driver more than 5 minutes, so we waited outside side with our luggage in the rain!, there were notice that wake me up many times at night.

The property was nice, it was clean, and there was utilities and things for us to use which came in handy. The communication with the property owners was speedy which is always fantastic.

Lovely apartment on third floor of a heritage building. Very nicely renovated, very well maintained. Very comfortable bed and great showe. Well equipped kitchen.

The street was dug up to renew? Water pies to the area, made access for taxi tricky. The apartment is accesse by two flights of steep narrow spiralling stairs. We could not have accessed the apartment with our luggage without the assistance of the owner, who kindly left work to carry our two heavy suitcases up to the apartment and took them down again on our day of departure. We were travelling on a long trip hence large cases. We would not recommend this apartment for people with mobility issues as access would be difficult. We are two fit 70 yr olds. We loved our stay at the Riverbridge Suite. This appartment is in a great location. Down a quiet residential block in the heart of the historical canal district with a tram stop, cafés and bars right at the end of the block. Close walking/biking distance to any main attraction. The appartment is bright, clean and comes fully stocked with washer, dish washer, full kitchen and any accessories you need. Claire the appartment host is wonderful and so accommodating with quick and helpful communication!! We needed a refill with some soap and detergent and she dropped off those items no problem. We had a great time here and would definitely return!!
