Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Having the pub next door was great, and the pizza truck on Friday was so good! The accommodation was simple but well equipped, and the peat fire made it cosy. The place could do with a little freshen up (blinds need a clean, an exposed light switch in the bedroom), but it everything we needed.
A few things were just a little run down. The blinds had some mildew/staining on, the light switch in one of the bedrooms looks like it needed the cover replacing. Just a bit of TLC would make it exceptional.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Yeats Lodge was a very comfortable place to stay. We really enjoyed being here. Everyone was so friendly and kind. It was a home from home.
The property is very pet friendly apart from taking the dogs out to the toilet. I walked along by the road, which felt dangerous with the speed of the cars, to the edge of a neighbour’s field. I think a little green area in the car park would be helpful with a bin.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία με εύκολη πρόσβαση σε όλα όσα είχα προγραμματίσει να επισκεφτώ στην περιοχή. Άνετοι χώροι και καθαρό περιβάλλον. Η μπυραρία ακριβώς δίπλα πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα και πρακτική λύση.
Δυστυχώς δεν είχα την ευκαιρία να δοκιμάσω την πίτσα ακριβώς δίπλα. Ηταν κλειστή τις ημέρες που ήμουν εκεί.

Busy main road. Could put higher gates where low gate is and remove shrubbery and have astro turf for small safe place for kids. I really like staying here though.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026La struttura è attaccata ad un Pub, per noi è stato elemento positivo perché le risate ed il vocio (leggerissimo) ci sembravano piacevoli. Molto gentili i proprietari (gestori del pub) sotto ogni aspetto. Rapporto qualità prezzo davvero super!
La struttura si trova a 20 metri da una strada secondaria, nella quale sfrecciano automobili agli 80km di giorno vedi notte. Pertanto piuttosto rumoroso. Pulizia migliorabile.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Tout!! L’emplacement acollé au bar car tenu par les mêmes propriétaires. Le pub est très convivial nous avons été accueilli avec les sourires et la bienveillance des patrons. Vous entendrez un peu de bruit dans la maison dû aux clients du pub mais une fois dans les chambres tout est calme. Le bar ferme à 23h30, le silence s’installe quelques temps après. Après tout on est en vacances on peut bien tolérer un peu de bruit jusqu’à minuit. La maison en elle même est superbe, très propre et bien équipée. Quand je lis certains commentaires qui disent que c’est loin de tout , oui effectivement Galway est à 30 min mais il y a une petite ville à côté où vous pourrez trouver ce que vous voulez. En même temps quand on réserve quelque part on se renseigne en amont de sa localisation. Le petit plus : un camion pizza vient dans les parking du vendredi au dimanche Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de cet endroit tant pour le lieu que pour l’extrême gentillesse des propriétaires!

Super far from bigger city like Galway. It is about a 50 minute drive to make it to the city center. Booking does wrong in suggesting such stay when searching for places to stay in Galway.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Netter Gastgeber top Ausstattung ( Wama, Trockner,Kamin,Tv und Küche). Es wurden alle Fenster verspiegelt und noch mehr Auststattung für die Gemütlichkeit als auf den Fotos integriert.
Es ist direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, durch den Pub ist für Familie mit klein Kindern eher ungeeignet.

Reviewed May 13, 2026Roomy home not an apartment. Comfortable and clean. Next door to a very popular pub on weekends with adjoining wall but wasn’t a problem at all. The parking lot gets full on those nights. Ugly D Pizza in a food truck in front of the pub. Really good food and they brought our order to our door. Washer and Dryer are nice to have. There is a peat burning stove in the living room area that was fun to try to get to catch fire. Just when we were about to give up it started up. Definitely recommend this accommodation. Sunny kitchen and a delightful stay.
Nothing. You do have to close the bedroom shades as they face a public outside area for the pub. But again that’s the fun of the place.

I didn’t plan accordingly. The location was off the beaten path and a bit further from Galway than I had expected. It was about 45 mins to get into town.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026We loved everything about this stay. It was perfect for my partner and I to spend time with my siblings after coming home for Christmas from Australia. It was also pet friendly which meant we were also able to bring our dogs. The Bar’s right next door and was just fantastic. We were able to play pool until our hearts were content, the host even made us beautiful scones with cheese as well as giving my younger siblings some chocolate bars. Overall we had everything we needed and more, we will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone we know. Just perfect, thank you so so much.

We were a little surprised at sharing a wall with the pub, and having their outdoor area right outside our bedroom windows. Fortunately all was quiet except for Saturday night, not surprising. It was nice to be able to pop over and grab a been or glass of wine, though. We would have liked to be closer to town.

La ubicación (no nos dimos cuenta de la alejado que estaba de Galway) y la orientación de los dormitorios al patio interior del bar. Y la sensación de aislamiento al no haber otros apartamentos. También se escuchaba el ruido del bar, aunque no cerró muy tarde.

Reviewed May 26, 2025We loved EVERYTHING from the initial communication from owners, the location was beautiful and very rural. They even have a pizza horse box. The house is fantastic and has everything we needed. We loved it and will definitely stay again. It does feel like the middle of nowhere but a true escape gem. Nice pub next door Lots of car parking Good food shop 2 minutes up road.
TV in the pub was very loud as we wanted to talk but I think the locals were following the sport on TV.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2025The apartment is a little house. Spotlessly clean and everything you need for a self catering stay including toiletries and towels. The sitting room has a fabulous turf burning stove which made it extremely cosy. The pub is attached to the house so you only have to go next door for a drink. There's also a Pizza Truck right outside the bar and that was delicious. Would highly recommend this little haven. Kieran the owner was really nice to deal with. Will definitely be back soon.
The cooker hood didn't work but this is only a minor issue which I sure will be resolved quickly. Everything else was perfect.

Location next to a pub. No view out as it looks onto a parking lot so needed to keep curtains closed the whole time. Very old electricity with messy wires hanging down the wall. All seemed a bit cheaply converted with old furniture and bedding.

Reviewed May 3, 2024Large 2 bedroom lodging. It was great to spread out after staying in small one bedroom B&Bs. Having a kitchen and sitting room to relax in was great. And don't forget a washer and dryer! Fantastic!
One day we returned to find someone from the attached bar had taken a smoke break near the laundry room. The one bedroom and bath also then smelled smokey and it took a bit to clear that.
