We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It was cosy, comfortable and had a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere. The cottage had a great ambience and was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything was clean, well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. We really enjoyed our time here and appreciated the quiet surroundings and homely feel. It was a lovely experience from start to finish, and we would be very happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Massive space and beautiful house

Spacious place, super clean, loads of amenities, stocked kitchen, great location. Wish I had 1 extra night at least to really relax and enjoy the place more.

We were there at the peak of the heatwave so not having any cooling mechanism was quite uncomfortable. I wish we had like a tablefan or two for some air circulation. I imagine though during the colder months, this place will be super comfy and cozy. Also internet was very weak. And fridge wasn't that cold (sufficient for a couple of days).

Huge house, all clean, so much space for 5 people. Beds are comfy, two bedrooms have even en-suite. Kitchen was fully equipped. It is perfect spot if you’re planning to go to Galway and Cliffs of Moher. It’s about 1 hour drive to both of these places

All was perfect, just the lawn wasn’t mowed for few weeks? But it’s a such a tiny detail that didn’t matter at all

Sylvia was an excellent host. Wonderful stay in the property, cosy and well-furnished with a log burner too. Lovely experience to have stayed in an Irish estate house.

Property is very beautiful, spacious, easily accesfrom the village. Local grocery stores and amenities are very closeby. Lots of room for the kids, spacious bedrooms and lovely kitchen with a fireplace

The house is large and comfortable, perfect for a family of six. The scenery of the countryside was lovely. Well stocked kitchen and enjoyed the sunroom off the kitchen in the morning.

The home is a 30 minute drive to Galway and is actually in the town of Gort. We had no hot water on our second day as the electric heaters in the showers weren't working. Only use the washing machine if you have lots of time to let it dry on the rack.

I really liked how big the house was, plenty of space. There were also plenty of utensils, etc.

We had no hot water for the duration of our stay, this wasn’t fixed until the next morning. It didn’t work for the entire day. There were also many cobwebs.

Accomodation was perfectly located for the retreat me and my sisters had. It was private. It had all the facilities needed. We had a lovely walk by the country road and also discovered a river. We did not meet staff but was we had prompt responses to messages. We loved it so much we would have to visit again.

We did not have direct access to the heating system, so we had to keeping contacting staff via phone to regulate it.

Tv a bit small for the large sitting room and some milk in the fridge would have been the icing on the cake!

No gate at entrance for small children. But other wise it was fabulous 👌

Spacious and extremely comfortable. Lots of room for a family to relax. It has all the amenities you need and is in a great location. Check-in was seamless and communication was excellent.

The house was large with ample space for all of us. It was very close to Gort, making stocking up on groceries really easy. The old stables out the back were a personal favourite of mine - it all felt very special. Sylvia went above and beyond for us after one of our iPads were left at the house. She had a driver courier it down to Co. Kerry where we were staying so we didn’t have to drive the 2 hours back to the house.

The showers weren’t the best, but that’s to be expected in rural areas. We didn’t like bothering the host when we needed the heat turned up or down as we couldn’t do it on our end, but I assume this is done for sustainability/energy saving reasons.

The whole bungalow was amazing and there was so much space for our 4 children to play and enjoy.

It smelled of mildew. Bed in back bedroom was just springs, also toilet didnt work. Its wS also full of bugs and not very clean

Beautiful house, so much room inside and outside, we had 3 young children with us, and they had so much space to run around and play. There was even toys at the house. The beds were very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. Super quiet and super comfortable.

The place is nice and in a very good location to reach various places in the west. It's only an hour away from the Cliffs of Moher! The house is very clean and has lots of useful facilities, especially for families with kids such as a washing machine, oven, fridge and microwave. Everything is on one storey so there's no problems with young ones and stairs. We really enjoyed our stay.

The place is great. Would have loved to have access to a tumble dryer since the weather doesn't exactly help with drying the washing. If you cosleep with young ones, you might find that the beds are a bit on the smaller side.

A great central location. The house was spotless and the facilities in the house were excellent, meeting our needs perfectly. The Yeats Tower and trail close by were a bonus. We were meeting family in Galway and this house gave us easy access to that .... with a car of course.

There was nothing really to complain about, I love a firm mattress and the one I slept on was a tad too soft for me... but thats just nit picking, it might have suited someone else well.

Beautiful property so calm and peaceful , excellent location to pop into galway , immaculate condition , had some toys for the little ones which they loved . We will be back

It was a little bit cold.

I loved the location out in the country with delightful villages close-by. The house was very spacious, giving all members of our party plenty of places for escape. The sunroom was particularly comfortable and warm. We had beautiful sunsets and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Thoor Ballylee Yeats Tower. We also enjoyed the pubs in the nearby villages. Lovely place to walk.
