Summer Suites Apartment 7min walk to KLCC by GRIHOZ

The smart TV was good and working

Parking not complementary

Excellent location, great view and helpful staff The lion dance for the lunar New Year was a real highlight for our trip

At first it was difficult to find the property and how and where to check. Once we were there, it made more sense The property could use a little maintenance but it was adequate and well equipped for our extended stay

Sehr gute Lage, super Aussicht vom Balkon mit zwei Sitzgelegenheiten, das Bett war bequem.

Es hätte sauberer sein können. Die Küchenausstattung war sehr dürftig.

Excellent prime location, friendly and professional host and close by to the shops, shopping mall, cafe and restaurants. I highly recommend this amazing place to everyone. Thank you sooo much once again for welcoming me warmly into the apartment suite.

The apartment is spacious and well laid out. The washer/dryer is an especially nice convenience. Mohammed, the man who brought whatever we requested and cleaned our room, was excellent. We'd rate him a 9 out of 10. Super nice guy who is eager to please. The apartment gym and pool are great for a temporary place to stay and there are markets and restaurants on the first floor which are pretty nice. The location of the apartments is central to everything. The price was less expensive than most.

We have been staying at Mercu Summer Suites for 3 years while visiting Kuala Lumpur. The first year we visited, our apartment was excellent, the following year, it showed more wear and things were breaking down. This year will be our last year at Mercu Summer Suites...at least with this particular host. When we arrived at Mercu, we were given instructions for self-checkin which involved going to the security desk and getting them to let us into a room with locked boxes. We had to enter the passcode to gain access to the elevator pass inside. When we arrived to our room, the door has a lock on the outside, whith a lick that does not appear to be a lock until you tap on it. Then the keyboard lights up for you to enter the passcode. Then it goes through locking and unlocking several times after you've gained entry. It does the same thing when trying to lock it. The whole door lock function was really annoying. When we entered the room, the smell of moth balls hit us like a wall. The floor was sticky and we immediately noticed the dirt/mold/cracks in the walls. The bedding looked questionable, so we asked for new sheets and pillows, which the employee was quick to put on the bed. One of the bedspreads smelled really strong of cologne or perfume. Even after I washed it, it continued to have the overwhelming odor. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken. The coffee mugs had old coffee dried on them. There was one very small dish cloth and nothing to dry dishes with. I asked for a dish cloth multiple times but never received one. The tea kettle did not work, so the employee brought us another one. There were no bath towels, and only 2 rolls of toilet paper and no squeegee for the bathroom floor (even though the toilet is in the same space as the shower). Honestly, it appeared that the apartment had not been rented in a long time and nothing had been done to prepare for us to occupy the room other than provide 2 bottles of drinking water.

Good location near city center. Walking distance klcc 10 minutes only & 5 minutes to walking distance to monorail Bukit Nanas. I feel like my home and i have been staying their more then 50 times. Whenever i come to KL for my business purpose i always prefer Grihoz homestay for their hospitality. The staff has became my friend and i am highly recommend to others.

The host is very helpful. He and his team were on standby to fulfil any of our requests. I appreciate it.

Supply of amenities. Some bug issues.

Yes

All good

The location, fully equipped apartment

the bathroom needs renovation

Good place to stay, Clean and helpfull staff!

nice and convenient

Apartment block is nice, location good. Bed is comfortable.

The bathroom was dirty, rotten door and no view. Be aware that you have to WhatsApp or message to check k in.

Nice place.

The location is central to anything you want to see or do. There is a grocery on the ground level that stays open late and is pretty reasonably priced. The room is on the 32nd floor and is better than what the pictures and description presented. Mohammad was super responsive at all hours of the day or night. We never needed anything that Mohammad wasn't INSTANTLY there to provide. He is also just a really good soul. The guy who cleans the rooms is really impressive to watch! Super thorough and fast! The bed is comfortable (and the sofa). The kitchen is just what you need. It has a nice big refrigerator and a stove that heats your food exceptionally fast. The bathroom is also equipped with anything you need. Lots of storage room for clothes and groceries. The washing machine was a nice convenience. The fitness facility was an especially good bonus, equipped with machines and free weights. It is close to public transportation and catching a Grab taxi is easy from this location. I would absolutely stay here again on a return visit to KL.

The key badge scan entry through the security gates is a poorly executed system. Mohammad (and the guards) will show you how to manage it, but you'll see groups of people bottlenecked at the gates trying to figure out how to get in and out.

Very clean and very well located. Host Roni and his staff is always active throughout the stay. Very friendly and fulfill my expectations. I feel like it's my second home. Staying at this property for multiple times and will continue to do.

The location is amazing! Just like two blocks away from petronas. The apartment is good as well, has a convenience store downstairs which is nice to have it open 24/7

The mattress is quite uncomfortable, after the week that we stayed there I had horrible back pain.

Location, modern & clean

Very few kitchen utensils to use.

Nice Place!!

Nice place!

The location is great right down town very close to Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC shopping mall.

No coffee maker and could have a better selection of cooking pots and pans.

Amazing location, amenities, unit was on a great floor, sound proof, good views and within 500+ metres of the Petronas towers. So good I stayed 6weeks in the unit. Fantastic Host.

We arrived early and the host was kind enough to stow our bags. There is a nice cafe downstairs with good food and wifi to sit and get work done while you wait for your room to be ready. The room was nice and spacious with a kitchenette, a living area, and a bedroom. The wifi was great with good consistent speeds.

They provide only 1 access key to the building, which is inconvenient and doesn't work well either. We saw many people having issues so it is mostly on the builders to fix it than the host. The bed, pillows, and the linen could have been better.

This apartment is very near to Petronas twin towers. Room was very clean and spacious. Stuff was very kind and helpful. Perfect accommodation for spend vacation. Netflix and Youtube available.

Absolutely Nothing

The cleanliness, the towels, the bed sheets, the shower, the ants and other insects in the apartment crawling all over me and my belongings, the facilities, the smell in the apartment, the outdated furniture, the toilet door that kept jamming, there was no toiletriees. from the moment I walked in, I could see the apartment was not cleaned and sanitised properly. I reported to the person that checked me in and his excuse was that due to Chinese New year they are busy. I've read another review and that said the lady was offered three other places which she rejected and finally settled. During my stay all the apartments were fully booked so I felt very trapped.

Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Host was very helpful and active. Downstairs has mini market and cafe house. Place was near to Petronas Twin Towers. It's only 8-10 min walk away from the apartment.

I like almost everything

I don't like the key for the appartemen it s doesn't work for the gate in lobby

Overall a lovely and stress free stay. The property itself was very clean and functional. We were able to cook, do laundry and work from home in the property. The wifi speed was amazing. The apartment was in the centre of the Kuala Lumpur, had shops and cafes on the ground floor of the building. There was a lovely pool and gym. A great time. we ended up having to extend last-minute which was pain free in organizing.

We had to pay a cash deposit, which is not really ideal as we did not want to be left with a currency we were not going to use after our time in Kuala Lumpur. We were not made aware of this in advance. However we used American dollar instead so that was good the accommodation could be flexible.

Amazing apartment. One of my favourite places I’ve stayed in Asia. Good facilities, cooking, laundry. Gym and pool were lovely to access and right across from the room. Great location, close to monorail and subway. 10 minute walk to the towers. Spotless, clean. Lovely balcony. Netflix on tv. Helpful staff met us at lobby. Supermarket and coffee shop below property.

Keycard was temperamental at the entrance. Would of been great to have some cooking basics eg oil.

I loved everything. Feels like home.

Location

Nothing

All good. Helpful stuff and easy to communicate.

It was good. I liked everything.

I liked everything. Host was very active and easy to communicate. Room was very clean and i felt better to be there. Nice place.

Apartment was near to KLCC and at the apartment available minimarket. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Liked it.

I liked how host welcomed me so early. Host is very friendly and easy to communicate. Room was very clean and comfortable.

This apartment was very clean and comfortable. fulfilled my expectations.

all was cool.

Good values of money 🥰

There were only two things I liked about this property: location and communication with the host

The property was in terrible condition. The photos shown have nothing to do with reality. Everything, starting with the towels, was very shabby and of poor quality.

Roomy, nice facilities including a washing machine. Decent access to everything, walking distance to Petronas towers and lots of eateries. We loved it!

Bathroom wasn’t the best and the lift situation and key card access is a mess if you are staying more than one person.

The location of the property was excellent. Very close to all amenities. Building very safe, security staff 24/7. The host was very accommodating to our check out time.

The only provide one card to enter the building. You have to enter, pretend you leave and then the second person can enter.

Best bed ever - super comfy. Shops are conveniently located on the ground floor of the building - restaurant, marts, etc. TV has watcheable channels, Netflix (if you have an account). WiFi is good - video conferencing and online meetings possible, barely any lags or cut-offs. Washer/dryer was fantastic. The host was exceptional - friendly and kind, accommodated to requests where possible, and considers feedback for improvement. Shower pressure is strong, hot and cold water good. 2 air-conditioning units which worked very well. Clean, comfortable, well-designed, modern, fresh-smelling. Security was good - cameras, staff around 24/7. Has a pool, jacuzzi, and gym on a level to use. Couldn't ask for a better place to R&R.

Soap (shower gel, dishwashing detergent, laundry powder, fabric softener) was just enough for length of stay. No vacuum cleaner, just a mop. These were just minor issues, but for the absence of daily housekeeping services, the above-mentioned might irk some. Still very much enjoyed this amazing place.

great location, appartments equipment offers all you need. the staff is super friendly and professional. esrly check in and late check out ! great

a bottle of water or some welcome coffee would have bern great ;)

It was very nice staying _location _cleaness

its clean and spacious, also comfortable for staying even not only for 1 night. can see a view and everything hihi

It was a very nice studio apartment, was right next to the monorail, there was a washer/dryer good hairdryer and an iron which for me was the best bit the view on the balcony at night was fantastic

Don’t think the pool was very inviting as it wasn’t necessarily in the sun there is a decent looking gym however

Great service, location and facilities within the complex.

More towels and cooking utensils

The place was so neat and in a very good location. It had a complete room amenities and right beside the pool area. The room has a city view and a balcony as well. It's also walking distance to KL Tower and Petronas. I also like how accommodating the host was. The host was also kind enough to store my luggages past the check in time since the next guest is not arriving til late afternoon. I highly recommend this place and definitely staying again when I come back to Kuala Lumpur.

Staff were very friendly. Only stayed one night but it was quite good.
