This was our second stay at Willow Hills, so we travelled to Ooty with confidence of a comfortable stay. We were not disappointed. We were met at check-in by Mr. Laxinarayan, with whom we had a chance to get re-acquainted. He resolved some minor issues at check-in with a matter of minutes. A true professional. (We had booked two rooms, and he arranged for them to be adjacent). The facility remains clean, fresh and reliable, as earlier. We had breakfast and dinner at the "Bird of Paradise', a well laid out on-site restaurant with friendly staff and delicious offerings. We will definitely be coming back.

Our room was spotlessly clean and smelt amazing. We had a stunning view and the hotel has a beautiful garden. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was incredible and so varied. Lots of thoughtful little touches made for a really excellent stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly too. We stayed in lots of places during our tour of south India and this was one of our favourites. We only wish we could have stayed there longer.

Nothing, it was perfect for us.

The stay was comfortable and good. Rooms were very cosy and clean. Staff was very prompt. Breakfast was exceptional. The main town and market was very close by. Had a satisfying experience.

Beautiful property, Great Location and still close to the city at the same time. The place, the room, the quality of the furnishings, fittings and toiletries, the staff, the food everything was perfect. We had a wonderful time at the willow hill. The breakfast was amazing. The complimentary snacks in room was a nice touch.

The home made chocolates which were complimentary could be of better quality.

Willow Hill exceeded all our expectations. This quaint little hotel tucked away from the main city offers really cozy rooms. We stayed in Jacaranda and loved our room. The amenities in the room were excellent, with complementary snacks and cookies placed. The environment is also serene and cozy. The lawns are lush and well maintained and the views are just breathtaking. There's a lovely tea plantation just a few meters away that is perfect for walks. Everyone at the hotel were kind, the manager Mr. Lakshminarayan went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience. He was prompt and supported us with whatever we required. He also helped us arrange for autos to get around the city and provided us with solid restaurant recommendations to visit around Ooty. The head chef at the restaurant, Mr. Murali ensured our breakfast was taken care of. We had some of the best vadas and dosas here. And the filter coffee was amazing. He also accommodated my request on making rasam, as it's my comfort dish and not a usual menu offering. The food offerings at the restaurant are reminiscent of home cooked food, which was an added comfort to the whole atmosphere of the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant and were happy with what we ordered. Overall, we wholeheartedly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this to people looking for a quiet, scenic stay in Ooty.

The breathtaking views, the rooms, the restaurant, the staff, everything!

Room was clean

Pretty much everything. Food was very expensive. The fruits they said complimentary were very old l, there were no refreshments in the fridge and there was no bottled mineral water. The weather was warm and surprisingly there was no fan and we were sweating the whole night without proper sleep.

There were no facilities for either indoor or outdoor games

Staff service was exceptional. Especially the manager Mr. Lakshmi Narayan takes great care of the guest well being. Food was good. Lawn is maintained well, open space facilities are good.

Peak season rates are high. The rooms in ground floor have wooden steps to reach them. So if you get a noisy guest in next room then night sleep will be disturbed.

The location was fabulous, one could walk down the hill to the town but it was away from the bustle

Housekeeping was not upto the mark. Spoons were not cleaned in the room and refills of toiletry not done

- View from the room - General ambience of the place - Very good food at reasonable price - The hospitality was top notch, all the staff from Manager to restaurant staff to the housekeeping staff made us feel welcome. - Restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate our special request for a dish, and my wife loves it and called it the highlight of the trip. Thanks to Chef Murali and his lovely team. - Good parking space - A 7kW AC EV charger by Rebolt/Zeon is fitted within the premises, as an EV owner this made the trip so much easier.

- Nothing much, few minor issues noted with TV/Lamp etc shared with the Hotel team.

Nice breakfast , excellent diner thanks to a great chief who understands very well your own taste ( Medium or No spicy ! ) You can go downtown thanks to a good walkable shortcut . Wonderfull view from the rooms and gardens are very pretty .

We had 4 wonderful nights at Willow Hill. The front of staff helped with all our extra needs such as drivers, advice on shopping and day tours. The food was excellent. We ate at the more expensive place next door but the food at Willow Hill was far superior. When we first entered our room, the view of the mountains through the huge window took our breath away, Loved it.

The location, views, wooden vintage room design, the amenities, the people, food and hospitality of the people, just amazing. I asked to pay later than check-in, they didn't have a problem with it, perfect hosts in my opinion. Will definitely stay again.

The views from our room (fir, adjacent to tea tree) were stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can walk into town and it is easy to get a tuktuk back. The restaurant is good and there is also an excellent restaurant and bar opposite. There is a hiking area just up the road near monarch

We already booked for 2 nights(fir) but then managed to book a night in spathodia as we decided to arrive a day earlier. The accommodation is fantastic. Spathodia is ground floor and you have a lovely garden. The location was perfect for us. Out of the city noise but you can walk into ooty (footpath just up hill to right, just a few tricky steps at the start, or walk on the road, photo taken from the footpath) it is easy to get a tuktuk back. Also the hotel will arrange transport. The views are stunning and there is a lovely garden. The staff are very helpful. The restaurant serves good food but there is also a lovely restaurant opposite with a beautiful old bar.. You can hike near monarch at the top of the hill

A bit of noise early morning from the bathroom plumbing but this wasn't an issue for us

The property was very clean with modern facilities. The areas surrounding the hotel, which included the gardens and flower beds were well maintained. The kitchen provided tasty meals and the Chef accommodated some of our additional requests as we had senior citizens in our group. Above all the staff and the Manager, Mr. Lakshminarayan, were very cordial and helpful. They proactively assisted us with our needs. Overall it was a very memorable stay and we will choose this place again if we visit Ooty.

There is nothing to complain.

We loved our stay here, the staff were amazing, attentive and nothing was too much for them. We stayed in Walnut room and enjoyed the view watching the landscape change as the mists came in. ( January) and as the sun set. The little extras such as chocolates and savoury snacks in the room were appreciated and the beds and pillows very super comfortable.. Food was really good, we ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

This is more of a feedback, the dining room in the evening was cool so maybe a heater or two would help take the chill off . Also in the advertising pictures we can see a lit fire in the dining room but I feel this is misleading as one wasn't on when we were there and we were told by a staff member it wasn't a functioning chimney. The fire was something that attracted to us to Willow Hill as we knew it was going to be cold at night. However we book to stay again despite this.

The views! Huge picture window in our room with superb views of misty hills and sunset. Lovely characterful room with good facilities. Really comfortable big bed. Lakshmi (the manager) and all the staff were warm, friendly and very helpful.

Nothing but I wouldn’t recommend it if you like corporate style hotels. It’s quirky (service in the restaurant is friendly but erratic, but the food is very good) and slightly old fashioned. But we liked that!

Quelle vue magnifique depuis les grandes baies vitrées de la chambre. De mon point de vue, inutile de choisr une chambre avec jardin car elles sont situées au RDC, donc sans vue sur la ville. La décoration peut rapleler l'intérieur d'un chalet. Tout le mobilier est choisi avec gout. Les produits sanitaires sentent très bons et le eprsonnel en nombre est très attentionné. Les repas pris dans une très belle salle sont également délicieux et copieux. Idem pour le petit déjeuner.

Pas grand chose à redir si ce n'est peut être l'insonorisation entre le 2nd étage et le 1er (où nous étions). Mis à part cela tout était parfait

Great views great old world charm and ambience very helpful and courteous staff. Mr LaxmiNarayan the manager arranged for us to have a packed breakfast so we could leave early morning!

Beautifully appointed rooms in a smallish new building. Gorgeous views across to the mountains, especially if you choose a room on the top 2 floors. The manager was exceptionally helpful and professional, with very good English. All the staff that we encountered were kind and smiley.

Breakfast is excellent. Property - rooms, infrastructure, cleanliness is top notch. Staff is friendly and take good care of you. They are receptive to feedback and keen to make your stay pleasant.

Dinner timings are from 8pm. Earlier timings like 7 or at least 7:30 will be helpful. Vegetarian options can be more.

Great location overlooking the town. Room was spacious and comfortable. Gardens were lovely to sit out and take in the views. Best was the food and service.

Dinner could have been better.

The view from the well-appointed room was absolutely spectacular. But by far and away the best thing about the property was the staff who could not do enough for you. For example when my son was about to miss breakfast they came up with a tray for him

I visited Ooty with my partner for a relaxed stay, to experience nature and see the area. We did a lot of physical activities ( hiking), and the hotel was the perfect getaway to relax after a long, rainy day. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and they helped us when we had questions. We enjoyed the gardens and views from the hotel. The food was also delicious. I would love to return to Ooty, and if I do, I am guaranteed to stay here again.

Everything was nice. No alcoholic drinks served for those interested, but there are other places/ bars near.

TOUT Tout est bien pensé, bien choisi au niveau de la décoration . La chambre est joli, peut paraître un peu petite car bien meublée . Literie très confortable L’emplacement peut paraître loin du centre mais un petit chemin permet un raccourci conséquent . Nous sommes en position dominante avec une vue splendide . Le petit déjeuner est sous forme de buffet servi dans une porcelaine fine . Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant … rien à redire

An excellent and very well run hotel situated in the quiet leafy green heights of Ooty but within walking distance of the town. We were pleasantly surprised by all the facilities they offered. The whole hotel is absolutely spotless and very quiet. The food is delicious. Staff were very kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Small, neat and clean property, great personalised service, spacious well-equipped rooms with TV offering OTT platforms, good home-like hygeinic food.... everything was excellent. Right from Vinod the Manager, Gokul at the reception, Murlidharan as a chef, Ronita and Kiva attending to guests in the dining...everybody was superb. Highly recommended. In fact, have already recommended to a friend who is going to Ooty in December.

When most of the features are so good, a few short-comings here and there have to be ignored.

Beautiful gardens, clean and comfortable rooms. Its very close to the centre yet at a quiet location. The staff, particularly the manager, is super helpful and concerned about the guest's well being. I recommend booking a driver with the hotel itself to sightsee Ooty and surrounding areas, as our driver (booked from coimbatore) was not willing to bring us around much and was creating problems for us.
