The host was very nice and responsive. She helped us throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The location of the building is fantastic, you are in the heart of district 1 and close to all the shopping areas and major attractions.

Only reason i gave a 9 is because the building in itself from entering and the stairs were really shady. Other than that I had no complaints.

Great location! The apartment offered a cool vibe inside and was surprisingly spacious. Loved the little balcony too. The projector was cool.

Excellent cottages with water and rocks view, pond had lots of fish. Very scenic beautiful property with comfortable rooms. We planned to stay for a day and then extended our trip here. The hotel’s ambience and nature Ninh Binh perfectly. Duc and Flower were very helpful, smiling and efficient. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay :)

Tub in the bedroom was an awesome feature and was thoroughly enjoyed! Spacious, vibey living room with a nice window and balcony. Lighting was also cute. Having a washing machine in the unit was a plus. Though there were some issues, the host was very friendly and responsive. Location and value were excellent.

Main thing was that the kitchen ceiling drywall collapsed while we were staying there, due to age and dampness. Parts of it collapsed two nights in a row and we were unable to go to the restroom/shower without tracking some of the drywall. Kitchen and bathroom smelled very damp. Second thing was that the washing machine leaked slightly during use. Third thing was that we were unable to get the projector screen/projector to work. We did not address it with the host, so could be user error.

The 3 flight of stairs I had to climb up with no lift or assistance, the bed wasn't comfortable, the outside was disgusting, you have to walk through a mechanic's yard to get to your room.

the manager was not there at property we had to walk with luggages 500 mts to meet him on another property to get the key then he payed us a taxi back to property. We contacted him to check avalaivility for iur stay when back in ho xhi min but he did not answer to us. Overall we were satisfied by the apartment vut the disaster was the management .

accommodation was fine. Only maybe walking the stairs with suitcases was less pleasant. But even that I didn’t mind. And is good work out.

Very convenient. Communication was great. Very close to all interesting places.

It was six floors walking up in a stairwell that was filthy. The hot water didn’t last long. There was nothing available to clean kitchen like towels. There were zero amenities except a bottle of water in refrigerator.

While the host reached out to say that its the Vietnam experience, no one wants to hear drilling on a weekend. So bear in mind that neighbours working on house fixtures is a part of the 'local experience'. The AC in the room was really loud There were small insects climbing along the walls not sure what they were The bathroom didnt have any place to hang towels or clothes

What a gem of a find in the heart of Old Hoi An! Our stay at this hotel homestay was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderfully family-friendly. We felt welcomed and well cared for throughout our visit. Highly recommend!

We loved it here, location was very central and the facilities were excellent. The entrance was a bit strange but once inside it was very beautiful, clean and tidy and very cosy. Staff were very helpful over WhatsApp. Highlight recommend!

Apartment was super spacious and in a great location.

The stairway going up was back alley styles which we thought was cool, some may not like it.

The property looks nice with the fancy room design with the led lights, projector and I-home control options. The city view is also pretty decent and the property is well located in the city centre.

The room was in a more “rough” condition than in photos. Also the tutorials of how to operate the Ihome weren’t opening online which made it a bit frustrating to figure out all the controls.

I like the vibe of the room, chilling and relaxing. The size is huge compared to others. It had one small bedroom and a huge living room. The living room had 2 boardgames and an extra bed

The facilities aren't good. The air conditioner made noises in the bedroom that I couldn't sleep in. I had to move out to the living room to sleep. The wall had peeling paint and some small spots were scattered. The room had no window, so it felt quite airless and humid. There's a speaker but you couldn't use it. The light sometimes flashed for no reason even though I didn't turn it on. The staff was responsive at first but then they didn't reply to my problem anymore.

It’s just an old apartment building from the outside, but the room inside was much nicer than I expected. There’s a spacious bathtub, a clean and tidy kitchen, and a beautiful balcony that catches the morning sunlight. A bit of stair climbing for exercise, then you can cozy up with a pillow and watch movies on the projector—super chill. The place feels private and quiet, with no front desk, so the self check-in was really convenient. Loved it

A great location and the room was exactly as shown in pictures.the instructions are very clear. The Netflix,lights,bathtub exactly the same. It's a old apartment in.the outside but the inside is good. They even store the lugguages which is an added bonus.

Absolutely loved my stay at Saigon hide out, Linda was an amazing host - super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy, clean, and perfectly decorated. Very near at the bars if you like night life. Highly recommend to anyone looking for city adventure.

Poor facilities: ripped shower towels; a broken lamp that caused us a bloody accident; a smelly bathroom; old and wrinkled bed sheets, comforter; noise from neighbors. We stayed there for 4 nights and paid for the cleaning fee but we only got the cleaning before the last night. I chose this homestay bcoz of the high rating but my decision turned out very very disappointing.

Where should I begin ... Old (and I mean very old) appartment building. Unfortunatelly you need to climb up 4 floors (they are 3 but the first one counts as double as there are many stairs) as there is no elevator, so we did that with the luggage at 4 AM when we arrived from the airport .. you also get in through quite a dirty a motorbike parking area on the ground floor of the building (initially I thought it's a motorbike repair shop on the ground floor but later realised it's just where the residents of the building park their motorbikes) where you may or may not encounter rats through your journey to find the stairs. The pictures do not match the reality. The bathroom is small, smelly and has no windows (we had a harmless guest there too, a small lizard, so if you are afraid of that than maybe the place is not for you). The appartment is very dark (I guess that's why it's called a Hideout? But the pictures show it to have lots of light which is the main reason we booked it .. quite disappointing) The only window is the one from the room, and looks to the street, which is a VERY busy street, and the appartment is not soundproof at all, it's like sleeping in the street, you can hear everything from outside. We couldn't sleep without ear plugs. Oh, and if you were hoping to use the projector for a movie night, beware as its extremly poor image quality ... lighting is off, and the resolution as well, barely watchable. I would have prefferes a smaller TV instead even a cheap one would have had better image quality.

The apartment is indeed a hideout. Very modern, loft style with personal touches. Fully equipped. Very clean. Very big bed. Huge projector. Great air-conditioning. The location is really excellent with everything you need (bars, restaurants, shops) around it. I never met the host and only communicated through whatsapp, but she was always available and very helpful (giving also some tips for the area). Very good value for money.

While the flat is luxurious, the rest of the building is extremely ran-down (old, dirty, dark) which can make this choice uncomfortable for certain travelers. Inside the flat: The carpet next to the bathtub could be removed for hygienic reasons. Also while the bed is very modern (on the floor-japanese style), I would have preferred it to be a bit more elevated (was worried of what could crawl in from the neighboring apartments). The shower in the bathroom has no curtain or "basis", so the water goes directly to the floor drain. Due to its central location, there was noise from the street.

Value for money is great and good location

Staircase is a bit nasty and unsafe but take your time and you should be fiine.

Good location.

Doors to the balcony do not close, you can hear all the noise from the street. Shower with no separation to the toilet. Walls and floors were cracked multiple times. Some random stuff (matraces, etc) were just placed in the room blocking the passage. Looks terrible in the real life - pictures do not show the reality. Dead flowers in the balcony .

The staff were lovely and allowed me to check in early as my flight arrived on time and I was waiting outside for the room.

The property is run down. The bathroom was the main issue as the stickable tiles were peeling off the floor. The bathroom door had to be kept shut for the entirety of the stay as there was a strong sewage smell that was hard to shake. The shower tap was above the toilet and it was impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. I also don’t believe the room was truly cleaned following the previous guest. I could see that there was fresh sheets and a towel but the room itself felt dirty. As for the bathtub the tap doesn’t work. The sprayer did but it wasn’t enough to fill up the tub. Upon discovering it wouldn’t fill up the tub, I went to drain it. The drain isn’t connected to anything and the water sat in the tub all week…. I’ve attached photos as I think they speak for themselves. I must reiterate that the staff were perfect. The communication was fluid throughout the entire stay and they were super helpful. Daisee sent through recommendations of places to eat and visit.
