Awesome location and yummy breakfast

We had some loud guests in the hallway late at night but maybe expected for that part of town? No windows in rooms.

Breakfast was good; Pool is very small; don't go by picture.

Pokoje duże i czyste (nasz pokój miał nawet dwie łazienki!). Przepyszne śniadania w formie bufetu oraz świetna lokalizacja.

Jedynym minusem były godziny otwarcia basenu, mogłoby być dłużej.

We enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast rooms

We were upgraded on our first night to what should have been a better room to what we booked. This turned out to be wrong as our second night in the correct booked room was so much nicer and bigger

Prima hotel op een centrale locatie in Ho Chi Minh City. Vanuit het hotel kun je de stad goed verkennen. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en goed verzorgd. Wij vonden vooral het lagere gedeelte van de ontbijtruimte erg leuk en sfeervol. Het personeel was vriendelijk en de kamers waren, hoewel niet erg ruim, verder prima.

Het zwembad op het dak was aardig, maar het water was behoorlijk koud en het zwembad sloot naar onze mening erg vroeg. Ook zaten er in de kleine pool her en der wat tegeltjes los. Daarnaast werd het pand direct naast het hotel verbouwd. Vanaf ongeveer 07.00 uur 's ochtends was er zeer veel geluidsoverlast. Het klonk soms alsof er direct door de slaapkamermuur heen werd geboord of gehakt. Dat was behoorlijk vervelend en had duidelijk invloed op ons verblijf.

El servicio de masajes es muy bueno, eL servicio y el personal es excepcional, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Habitacion de tamaño estandar aunque ambiente y decoración muy elegante.

la piscina es pequeña y al lado de un bar/restaurante bastante ruidoso. El desayuno y el restaurante es bueno pero un poco caro. Las tuberias del servicio son muy antiguas y no dejan tirar papel higienico, a diferencia de otros hoteles.

We loved the central location of this hotel as well as the comfortable bed and pillows. This hotel is very well priced for its location. It’s walking distance to the Ben Than market and all the good eateries.

The only thing I didn’t like was that not every elevator got you to the rooftop pool, but this was ok once you knew which elevator to get.

Great hotel super clean and even Had security so felt so safe. Room was small but bathroom was huge. Location second to none close to everything restaurant massage markets and walking st. Staff were fabulous.

Bed was very a bit hard and a little street noise (arrived on a Saturday so lots going on)

Sadly we had a shirt and an expensive drink bottle go missing. Partly our fault due to leaving the bottle behind at the pool area but we did go back quite quickly to retrieve the item and it was gone. A staff member helped us look around the area and we reported it to reception in case the bottle was handed in. On the night before our departure we discovered a shirt was missing. The staff viewed the CCTV footage and came to the conclusion that we left both items at the pool and it was our fault. Miraculously the bottle reappeared in the middle of the night…. Aside from this issue the location was great for us. We walked nearly everywhere we wanted to go, eg, the war museum, the market, the HCM museum and Tonkin coffee. The pool and deck area is nice and was quite breezy which was great. We were given several vouchers on arrival - free meal x2, free cocktails x2 and free foot massages x2. The foot massage was the best I’ve ever had so I booked a back and shoulder massage for an hour which was also fabulous. We booked a no window room and this was fine. Bed was quite hard and shower put a lot of water into the bathroom. Breakfast was a fantastic array of Vietnamese and western dishes with omelettes being made fresh. Overall would’ve been a great stay if we hadn’t had to deal with strange disappearances.

The walls are paper thin so noise at night is an issue here. Bed was too hard

Great breakfast

The room was really nice and comfortable. Limited space for 2 suitcases but workable. Had everything we needed and a quiet area. Good hanging space and a good shower. The spa and promo vouchers were a great extra. Guest service was awesome and Lucy made every effort to look after us.

Little dated in some areas but still very nice. Odd layout with basically 3 hotels conjoined but essentially the same staff and services just depends which door you come in.

Alagon Hotel conveniently located in district 1 , restaurants, shops, massages, and using GRAB app is great for car or motor bikes. The Alagon Hotel staff are fantastic, from the Front Door Valets - Tuyen, Front Desk - Tien, Housekeeping, and restaurant staff.....5 stars. Above and Beyond Expectations. No problems with referring friends and family to The Alagon Hotel.

That there was 2 building brother and sister we went to main building but was told to go sister which we did not far then while checking in was told we had no balcony that was fine then told we had no window which I wasn't happy about no mention in add or I wouldn't have booked BUT for double what I payed could get window well I was not paying another 6,000,000 vdong it was in a pretty good location with eats and drinks close by also a 7 11 very close

We were moved to Alagon D'Antique on check in which was very nice but it was a smaller room. The buffet breakfast had a great selection. We could easily walk to many places. The highlight was the coffee making class with Nicholas who was very knowledgeable and passionate.

Don't get your washing done through the hotel. It was expensive and a lot of items came back not fully dry.

Wow, l have a wondeful 4 nights stay out of my a week vacation in Saigon. The room very comfortable, clean and cosy . So gladful they prepared a beautiful roses for our anniversary❤️ The toilet super clean with my favorite bathub in such hot weather in town. Swimming Pool , jacuzzy, sauna & steamer room is a good places to relax after sight seeing & shopping. Breakfast many choices & delicious. Staffs very helpful & friendly. Thank you Miss Chloe for your helping & complimentary meal from hotel.

From my room to swimming pool at level 10 have to climb up 1 floor cause the lift will stop at level 9. But is ok for me, just eldery may a bit difficult.

Location was our only positive.

We booked a room and asked for windows room with view. It had a view of about 50 air con units and a brick wall. The noise in the room from the units was unbearable. On the first night we asked to change rooms, they said they would let us know. Nothing happened. After breakfast, which was very poor in selection, organization and quality we went back to the room to have a rest after the previous days traveling. We tries to rest but we're woken by housekeeping wanting to clean our room at 10am. We told then we would go out about 12 for several hours. After going out and then returning, the room was not cleaned. We went out for dinner and had to ask again. It was done. Breakfast 2nd morning still one I could not recommend to anyone. No spoons left, sugar not near coffee or tea making facilities.. Juices more water than juice. Food very average. Lived here for 10 years, stayed in hundreds of hotels. This was one of the.most disappointing, especially for westerners and even my Vietnamese wife.

Usually a great hotel that I stay at every tim e in HCMC, but the name on the booking site is confusing (Alagon antique vs Alagon hotel and spa at the same address.

I thought I was booking the Alagon antique, but on check in my reservation was in the old and small Alagon Hotel and spa. I am a member of their loyalty club but couldn't get any recognition due to booking through booking .com

My experience with the staff at the Hotel was pathetic They were way too aggressive and irritable. Their tone of dealing with the customers was very, very rude specifically at the reception.

Staff were most helpful and friendly. Plenty of healthy choices for breakfast. Fam, our driver from the hotel, who took us on both airport trips was very happy and bubbly, with a very good knowledge of Saigon. His stories kept us amused. Excellent location, close to market and fabulous restaurants. Complementary foot massage was great, especially after all the walking.. Would recommend hotel to family and friends.

We went upmarket for our last night of the holiday - it was worth it. Lovely big pool and spa. Foot massage and full body massage well worth it. Excellent buffet breakfast - it’s a big hotel. Room was spacious and pillows were excellent.

Bathroom with corner bath and curtained shower not idea to get in and out of. As only one night it took a bit of navigating around the hotel as different lifts took you to different places.

Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, bitte darauf achten, in welchem Hotel gebucht wird - es gibt Zwei. Das Hotel mit dem Spa scheint komfortabler zu sein, ggf. auch die Zimmer. Es gibt auch mehrere Eingänge, vor und hinter dem Haus, etwas verwirrend. Wir haben nur für eine Nacht gebucht, das war o.k.. Frühstück haben wir nicht eingenommen, können wir nichts dazu beitragen. Personal ist bemüht.

The hotel is slapbang in the middle of all the attractions everything is walking distance, from the independence palace and war museum. The post office and cathedral, the boulevard from ho chi Minh statue to the river and for the evening you are minutes from bui vien street good food and bars galore. The staff are all friendly and helpful especially at breakfast keeping tables cleared food in the buffet stocked and cups for the coffee

The only fault and it's not that big a deal but the water was tepid in the shower with the heat outside not having roasting hot water wasn't that much of a problem

Amazing staff, clean rooms, tasty breakfast, and the best location in central Ho Chi Minh, District 1, only 5-10 mins walk to Bui Vien streer for great entertainment, delicious beers and plenty of yummy restuarants. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing not to like. Just check if you’re getting the Tranquil Room as it has no window. This was in the description, however I hadn’t read it thoroughly as booked last minute. It worked in our favour as we had a great sleep in 😃
