A fantastic experience with Catherine Cruises. The staff and service were extremely friendly. Special mentions to Ella for being such a great help during the cruise. Also Henry, he served our family very well.

We received a WhatsApp message the previous day informing us of an issue with Catherine cruise and that they booked another cruise for us “sea stars”. They arranged everything for us with the other cruise including our special requests and they upgraded our room as the rooms of the other cruise are slightly smaller than Catherine. Sea stars turned out amazing and we enjoyed it but I can not review Catherine as we did not try it.

We had an amazing experience on Catherine Cruises! The staff were so warm and welcoming and we were very well looked after from start to finish. Felix, our guide was so friendly, helpful and we particularly enjoyed the tours. Betty also looked after us so well during our meals and gave us a big surprise for our honeymoon which was very special. The Kayaking through the caves was an amazing experience - our favourite part.

We had a wonderful experience on the cruise. Everything was excellent, from the beautiful views and comfortable facilities to the friendly service and overall atmosphere. The experience was relaxing, enjoyable, and very well organized. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience. Rooms were very spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were exceptional in assisting us throughout our stay. Our server Mary was also excellent in assisting us with our meals and alternative menus. The activities were very good and entertaining and there was adequate time for us to engage with these and time to relax.

There was not a great variety for non- seafood eaters. However, our server Mary was very helpful in providing us with alternatives and showing us which meals contained seafood and which didn’t. The gym was not great at all. Neither the treadmill or bike worked and there was very limited equipment to use.

Les activités ne sont pas à la heuteur. On nous presse 30 minutes dans un endroit blindé de touristes et vite on repart. Le cours de cuisine c’est juste de la préparation de nems (on met les légumes dans la feuille de riz) Boissons non incluses Débarquement super tôt

The overall experience at Cathrine Cruise was excellent. The ship is great, the itinerary is full and helps you experience Ha long bay the best way possible. The cruise manager Filis is very professional and made our 2 days 1 night cruise even better. Also Tila who helped us during breakfast, lunch and dinner is an excellent and very polite person. Thank you all. One thing that I would like to comment is that the total cost for the cruise, which I think could be less taking into account the ecomonic conditions in Vietnam.

It is a beautiful boat, the rooms were lovely, most of the staff were so kind and welcoming, the execution options were excellent and everything ran to schedule/was efficient and organised.

The greeting when arriving was not ideal - not particularly friendly and immediate requests for more money on top of what we had already paid - an upgrade for x dollars, oh you booked and paid for 3 people, you will need to pay even more now for the third bed. The ship was only half full (which was great!) but there is no need to charge for an upgrade in those circumstances, although it seems the approach for some companies these days (we had just been given a genuine, free upgrade at the gorgeous Capella in Hanoi so thankfully not all properties approach it this way). Was not a nice start but the rest of the time was lovely. Also, while they try with the food and we enjoyed some of it, it was not five star as others have pointed out. Again, most of the staff were lovely, particularly the waitress who looked after us for dinner.

Lady and check in and departure needs to be polite and small regardless of how she feels she shouldn’t disrespect the visitors not just our experience others were turned off by her abruptness the gentleman was total opposite warm and welcoming. Taichi was on the programme we turned up 6.15am nobody there from Catherine cruises but the passengers when I called told it was over when I said it hadn’t started told they would send someone no one ever came. Clearly after dinner staff didn’t want to care for passengers and there was no entertainment at all however boats surrounding us had entertainment until 10pm and even fire works! Honestly I was disappointed a trip if a lifetime and Catherine cruises really feel short. Food was very average

The best cruise in Halong Bay. Everything is perfect from check in to check out. Staff friendly and helpful. Variety of food options in all meals. The food and drinks are delicious. The view from my room is breathtaking. Well organized activities. I recommend it .

Il cibo e l'acqua forniti in dotazione non erano adeguati: l'acqua veniva servita in bottiglie di vetro con un tappo non sigillato, circostanza che non mi ha trasmesso alcuna sicurezza. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, mi sono sentita male dopo il primo pasto consumato sulla barca e, purtroppo, il malessere mi ha accompagnata per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Inoltre, la cassaforte della camera non funzionava e la porta, pur chiudendosi a chiave, lasciava una fessura piuttosto ampia attraverso la quale era possibile vedere all'interno della stanza. Ho segnalato entrambe le problematiche e mi è stato assicurato che sarebbero state risolte, ma durante tutto il soggiorno non è stato effettuato alcun intervento. Infine, il costo della camera era molto elevato, soprattutto considerando gli standard del Vietnam, e a mio avviso non era assolutamente giustificato dalla qualità del servizio offerto.

The boat is less than three years old. Everything is first rate. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and the excursions take you to places you would never see. We stayed for two nights and the second day they take you to another boat for lunch whites the main boat returns to pick up new passengers. The second boat is a brand new day boat, Catherine Horizon, and it was even more spectacular. This was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam.

I had an amazing experience with Catherine Cruise in Halong Bay. The hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The cruise was very clean and well maintained, and the food was absolutely amazing throughout the trip. A special mention to Mary, one of the staff members, who made our experience even more memorable. She speaks excellent English, was very attentive to all customers’ needs, and always ensured everyone was comfortable and happy. Her professionalism and warm personality truly stood out. She should definitely be a role model for the other staff members. Thank you Catherine Cruise for such a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Very neat and well maintained

We had a wonderful 3 day / 2 night stay on this Ha Long Bay cruise. What really made the experience special was the incredibly accommodating staff, especially Mary and the cruise manager Ken. Mary took such great care of us throughout the trip and even helped hold our baby during dinner while she was working, which we really appreciated. Ken also went out of his way to arrange bananas for our baby from the mainland when there were none available onboard. The rooms were lovely with beautiful sea views, and we especially enjoyed the large bathtub overlooking the bay. One of the main reasons we chose this cruise was because all of the food served was halal (certification available, but note that alcohol is served onboard). The food quality was very good with plenty of seafood, meat, and chicken options. Breakfast and lunch were buffet style, while dinner was a sit-down 6-course meal each evening. The pool onboard was not huge but still a good size considering it is on a ship. We also enjoyed the included activities such as squid fishing at night and the cooking class (making fresh spring rolls), which was simple but fun. We especially enjoyed the activities on the second day of the cruise. Do note that the second day excursions are shared with guests from other cruises and ships and are on a different boat. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing way to experience Ha Long Bay.

A few small things could have been improved. While the food quality was good overall, we personally would have preferred more Vietnamese-style dishes during dinner service, although there were Vietnamese options available during breakfast and lunch. The first day activities were well organised and we enjoyed the cave hike, however we were less impressed with the beach stop. The beach itself was quite small, very crowded due to multiple cruises visiting at the same time, and unfortunately not the cleanest. We also booked the transfer service from Hanoi to the cruise, which was very comfortable. However, we were not aware beforehand that there would be a stop at a pearl center where guests had to walk through a pearl implantation demonstration and gift shop to access the café/rest area. It felt a bit overly commercialized and unnecessary, and we would have appreciated this being communicated in advance.

I would like to highlight that Evelyn went over and beyond to assist me during a personal crisis on the boat. Ken as a host was wonderful and very informative and Ali from entertainment was a total rockstar.

Dinner set menu served warm, NOT HOT. Lobster overcooked and dry. Spa is not luxury, only 2 massage tables with a curtain. VERY small bathrooms with no water pressure. Wood planks on all the decks are loose and a safety hazard. No coffee included with meals, but need to pay extra for coffee.

Big, spacious n amazing cabin. Friendly staff especially the person in charge of the cruise. He was very welcoming and looked after us well during our kayak/ boating outing. The ship is big, clean and offers many activities.

We had great one night tour and Zozo from the staff was so kind and helpful! It was our honeymoon and she arranged for us very special night !

We enjoyed our stay in the cruise, specifically the waitress Mary at the restaurant she made our experience unforgettable. Her guidance and positive attitude in arranging our anniversary surprise was amazing. Thank you Mary for your support and hospitality. Our tour guide was full of energy “kin” he had made the tour exciting and fun with his smile and energetic timely schedule.

Cleanliness of rooms weren't the best. Pillows too soft. Food wasn't up to expectations. Itinerary was way to early for people on vacation. I also didn't get the room I booked 3 months in advance however I was charged the same price.

Superb accommodation and crew. Ken and Mary were great. Ken went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. Our cruise was interrupted by the weather, no fault on the crew and they worked hard to keep us informed and welcome us back on board. Ken again working his magic, he is a massive asset to the cruise line/company.

Beautiful yacht & decor. Our room had a balcony with beautiful views. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The food was good & plentiful. The excursions were well organised & safe. The staff & service were excellent! Ken, the manager & Mary at the restaurant were just amazing! We had a great time.

O cruzeiro oferece uma experiência de muito conforto e comodidade. No momento do checkin houve um pequeno mal entendido em relação ao preço, pois reservamos pelo booking, mas assim que mostramos a reserva nos foi cobrado apenas o preço do aplicativo. A comida do cruzeiro é excelente e muito variada, tanto o almoço quanto o café da manhã. O jantar foi uma experiência a parte, tudo estava delicioso, recomendo.

Halong Bay is beautiful and the second day takes you to locations with fewer tourists. The super yacht is really beautiful. Birthday greetings by staff during dinner was awesome.

Bathroom curtain had mould patches and the fine dining, although plentiful, is not 5 star level.

The stay on the cruise was breathtaking—the views were stunning and the whole atmosphere was relaxing and unforgettable. This overnight stay was amazing!! Words can’t express how grateful and wonderful the staff are on this boat. They made our anniversary a memorable occasion with a cake and announcement. We were lucky enough to be in the presidential suite but all rooms are amazing. The boat director Ken is so good at his job and he made us and others feel very welcome but they are so appreciative we chose Catherine Cruises ! Our server, Evelyn was amazing too with her intern Dui doing a great job too. We would choose Catherine Cruises again next time in Ha Long Bay.
