Amazing resort with charming view. Staff was so nice and helpful.

The arrival road is little confusing and would be suitsble for some improvement (like better signs)

The hotel is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful spa and gorgeous pool. The restaurant serves some of the best Indonesian food I’ve ever had. This hotel is simply full of charm. But what truly makes it my favorite hotel in Ubud is the kindness of the staff. A huge thank you to the entire team for taking such wonderful care of us and making sure we felt happy and looked after throughout our stay. ❤️

Très bel établissement au calme, loin des gros resorts. Le personnel est absolument charmant et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont belles et fonctionnelles. Le restaurant est disponible toute la journée avec des plats cuisinés minute, plutôt bons. Les petits jacuzzi et le sauna est un vrai plus sur Ubud ! Et la piscine bien exposée l’après midi est magnifique et a bonne température. Les masseuses mises à disposition des clients sont très compétentes et adorables.

Il manquerait un placard dans les chambres et attention à la villa 2 qui se trouve accolée au restaurant, donc intimité limitée.

Wir waren für drei Nächte dort und wir haben gerade die ruhige Lage abseits von Ubud sehr genossen. Zu Fuß sind es etwa 45 Minuten in die Stadt. Die Möglichkeit einen Roller zu mieten besteht aber auch. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier sind viele junge Indonesier als Auszubildende beschäftigt. Das macht das ganze nur noch charmanter und liebenswerter. Jeder versucht förmlich alle Wünsche zu erfüllen und von den Augen abzulesen. Die ganze Anlage ist super gepflegt und sauber. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr sauber mit kostenlose Poolliegen und Sonnenschirmen ausgestattet. Die Frühstucksauswahl ist grandios. Den Spa haben wir nicht getestet. Es werden sämtlichen Pflegeprodukte zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und gerne auf dem großen Balkon gesessen und der Natur gelauscht.

Kayuan Lumbur was honestly the most peaceful and serene resort my partner and I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, warm and polite, making our entire stay feel completely stress-free and relaxing. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful — it genuinely feels like you’re staying in a jungle safari paradise, surrounded by nature and tranquillity. 🌿🦋 The restaurant was another highlight. The food was so good that we genuinely didn’t want to eat anywhere outside the resort! Everything we tried was delicious. Communication was also incredibly easy through WhatsApp, which made arranging anything we needed simple and convenient. A special thank you to Sani and Eka, our massage therapists, for the amazing massages — they were fantastic! 🙏🏼 Also, a huge thank you to the front desk team, Dewi and Ngurah, for always helping us with anything we needed and making us feel so welcome. And finally, a special mention to Adi, the young trainee waiter at the restaurant. He was always incredibly polite, friendly and attentive, and did such a great job looking after us.

Wij hadden niet leuke buren die tot laat door veel lawaai maken. Twee keer gevraagd of het zachter kan, maar gaven ze helaas geen gehoor aan. Want om 03:00 zoveel geluid maken is niet netjes

Kayuan is a stunning resort. Its tranquil and the constant sound of water running from the river below and stream at the side of my villa was divine! The room, decor, and layout were beautiful. I could not fault the restaurant, the breakfast & dinner I had were delicious, the pool in full sun was magic, also with an incredible view. And the staff were very kind. The hotel images are EXACTLY like the real thing - lush!!

Unfortunately the lack of eating options and mini marts in walking distance. I hoped to wake up and enjoy a morning walk however that wasn’t possible, Then endured a 30min Grab ride to the main area of Ubud on my first day just to do some shopping was a little inconvenient. This was purely my own experience, and if you choose to hire a scooter this may not be an issue, but be aware there are no convenient options/shops etc in walking distance. For this reason I actually cut my stay short and moved closer to the centre

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely, the bed huge and super comfortable, the bathroom well-supplied. The balcony is gorgeous - the views are incredible. The pool is great, breakfast was substantial and delicious. I had a beautiful massage in the spa and did yoga in the beautiful yoga shala. The staff are awesome - super accomodating. Will stay again.

I’m not sure why this place rates so high. It’s overpriced, isolated and misrepresented. Misrepresentation as a health and relaxation retreat. Our room was hot, adjacent to the commercial kitchen and we had electric blenders starting at 6.50am going until 10pm at night with pots and pans crashing. Listening to the staff music, deliveries and diners. We were directly under the pool and had people divebombing which echoed into the non insulated cabin. The hot water didn’t work, the bed was as hard as a rock. Our neighbouring cabin had no privacy screen dividing our balcony and we heard them walking around and talking all night. Our request for a refund of the remainder of the booking was refused and we were offered a complimentary massage ( which they made us do out in the open topless right next to other guests swimming in the pool) The clincher was getting shit on by geckos up in the ceiling as we slept. We had to shower and sleep with our heads covered to avoid the geckos shitting on us.

The hotel is truly a paradise on Earth, completely immersed in the Ubud jungle. The hotel is away from the chaos of Ubud centre, yet still very close and easy to reach. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a breathtaking view over the jungle and the swimming pool. We enjoyed wonderful massages and experienced two full-day tours, and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were amazing: everyone was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. We had an unforgettable stay and would love to come back!

Breakfast could be a little more varied, however everything we tried was very good

Het personeel van dit hotel was geweldig! Bij aankomst kregen we een heerlijk welkomstdrankje en een Balinees welkom. De kamer werd meerdere keren per dag schoongemaakt. Reparatie aan de douchekop werd direct uitgevoerd na het melden hiervan. De massages van het hotel waren heerlijk en het ontbijt was top. Leuk klein infinity zwembad en goed onderhouden jacuzzi. Prachtige locatie aan de rivier. De kamer was (zeer) ruim.

Rioolvliegjes in de badkamer. De locatie ligt hemelsbreed niet ver van het centrum, maar door de rivier toch nog minimaal 15 minuten met de bike.

Плохой сервис. Невеусная еда. Мизерные завтраки. Грязные кондиционеры воздуха в комнатах. Плохой массаж (чай невкусный, фруктами не угостили). Этот отель не стоит своих денег. Не вернусь сюда больше.

Территория отеля зеленая и ухоженная. Теплое джакузи порадовало. Бассейн очень чистый, панорама потрясающая. Комнаты чистые, светлые с приятным интерьером.

В душевой нет ни одной лампы, что немного неудобно. Халатов в отеле нет, хотя есть сауна. Wi-fi слабый. Уборка номеров хромает: у нас террасе не протерли стеклянный стол; кондиционер грязный с налетом мокрой грязи (не проводится обслуживание), это очень важно ☝🏻 это воздух, которым гости дышат. Спуск к реке не оборудован, было бы хорошо построить лестницу. В кафе деревянные табуретки без подушек, сидь некомфортно. Столы маленькие, тарелки не помещаются, хотя есть большие круглые столы, которые не накрывают на завтрак. Персонал на завтраке невменяемый (каждый день завтрак был проблемой на протяжении всего отдыха): у меня 5 минут принимал заказ официант, который ни слова не понял и ничего не записал, в итоге пришел второй- и мне пришлось все повторять, подача долгая. Завтраки скудные, просто позорные: подают сок в маленьких стаканах, за большой нужно доплатить, за дополнительное яйцо - тоже доплатить. Кофе очень плохой. Йога за дополнительную плату: ребята, мы в Убуде - йога должна быть бесплатной в отеле, где ночь стоит более 1 млн idr. Итог: цена на отель завышена и не соответствует уровню услуг и сервиса. В следующий наш приезд мы выберем другой отель.

Everything! The staff were absolutely amazing, always greeted us when arriving and going, everything was clean, woke up to monkeys in the morning. We stayed in the jungle villa. Beautiful place. Our favourite place we visited in Bali. Thank you for making it so special.

Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, peaceful, overlooking a lush river valley. Great massages.

Le lieu est reposant avec piscine, sauna, restaurant et meme une salle de massage à des prix attractifs. Une grande chambre avec balcon, clim, minibar et un lit king size. Ne pas oublier la gentillesse du personnel qui était au petit soin avec nous, grand merci à Putu. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute.

Meme si un peu eloiigné du centre ville nous avons apprecié le calme et la vue depuis les chambres et la piscine. Superbe environnement au milieu des fleurs et plantes. Tres bon restaurant et personnel charmant.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was incredibly calm and quiet, making it the perfect peaceful getaway. From the moment we checked in, the staff were amazing—so welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We were greeted with a beautiful welcome ceremony that included a blessing with holy water, a bracelet, and a refreshing welcome drink, which made us feel so special. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and cleaned daily to a high standard. One of our favourite parts of the stay was waking up to see monkeys in the distance, as the hotel is located opposite the Monkey Forest. The pool overlooking the forest was absolutely stunning and such a relaxing place to unwind. The sauna and jacuzzi were fantastic additions, and we also treated ourselves to massages at the hotel spa, which were perfect and left us feeling completely relaxed. The food was another highlight—there was an excellent selection of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience. We loved every second of our stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Fantastische en rustige plek buiten Ubud. Je hebt echt het gevoel dat je in de jungle zit. Wij verbleven aan de rivier in de villa’s en die zijn top. Personeel is fantastisch op alle fronten. Eten ook top. Niet te lang twijfelen, gewoon boeken.

We waren hier te kort maar dat is onze eigen schuld.

Burayı tercih etme nedenimiz doğa manzarasıydı ne yazık ki bir sürü oda içerisinden bize çatı manzaralı oda verdiler söylememize rağmen de bu konuda bir şey yapmadılar. Burası yoga yeri ancak 2 günlük konaklamada yoga yapan görmedik çünkü fiyatları pahalı. Otel konumu nedeniyle akşam yemeği alternatifi yok restorantta yazan yemek içerikleriyle gelen yemekler uyuşmuyor. Çocuklar için uygun bi yer değil merdivenlerin korkuluğu yok. Dışarı da yürümek istedik köpekler kovaladı yürümek imkansız

- El hotel es un autétnico oasis de paz y tranquilidad - Tiene muy pocas habitaciones, por lo que no hay nada de aglomeraciones y para todos los servicios (piscina, jacuzzi, sala de yoga, restaurantes...) estas practicamente solo y sin tener que esperar - La cama no podía ser más grande y cómoda - La habitación estaba decorada con todo lujo de detalles, con mucho cariño y espero, y por supuesto, limpísimo - El personal es muy amable, siempre disponible, y ayudándote en todo lo que pueden - El servicio de habitaciones es de muchísima calidad y el precio es fantástico - Después de todo, encima el precio es de lo más competitivo, es difícil de creer cuando lo conviertes a tu moneda. La experiencia en Europa sería de un super lujo que muchos no nos podríamos permitir

- Lo único que puedo ponerle en este apartado es que el hotel es de bastante dificil acceso en coche (si vas conduciendo tu, ten mucho cuidado). También está alejado de la ciudad propiamente dicha, pero eso es a la vez una de sus virtudes; el lugar no puede ser más tranquilo

The property was located in a very quite spot by the main stretch of ubud, allowing for uninterrupted views to the green valley while a short ride to the restaurants of ubud. Rooms were very spacious with large balconies and the property has amazingly lush gardens.

Todo. Nuestra primera parada en Indonesia fue increíble, todo estaba perfecto, limpio y cómodo. Sin duda repetiríamos. Gracias a cada uno de los trabajadores que hicieron de nuestra estancia simplemente perfecta!

We had the most amazing stay here. Firstly, the setting of the resort is out of this world - we could not start the day without our morning coffee on the balcony, overlooking lush greenery, occasionally spotting a monkey across the gorge. Secondly, the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and very professional. The rooms were comfortable with everything one may need. The breakfast was delicious, with some options to choose from. We even had a lunch and supper at the resort once, and we were very happy with our meals. We also booked an aromatherapy massage and enjoyed it thoroughly. If we ever came to Bali again, we would definitely return to The Kayuan Lumbur! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful, clean, and well-maintained property with extremely friendly staff. The pool was amazing, the food was very good, and it was a great spot for massages and relaxing. Everything we needed was provided, and the entire stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The food was really amazing. The rooms were kept tidy and any requests were promptly met by the staff.

It's a peaceful location by the river however it isn't walking distance to anything so a scooter is required which I hadn't anticipated.

Das Hotel liegt abseits von Ubud im Dschungel, die Natur ist der Wahnsinn, auf der anderen Flussseite kann man die Affen beobachten. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Restaurant ist das Essen sehr lecker. Auch vom Pool aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Dschungel.

Adoramos o quarto, a vista e a própria piscina. O staff foi super atencioso durante a nossa estadia. O pequeno-almoço também era muito completo e com diferentes opções

O caminho para chegar ao hotel não está nas melhores condições, o que para quem anda de scooter para se deslocar ao centro, não se sente tão segura. Só ficamos desiludidos com o facto de termos pedido para alugar uma scooter, informaram que tinham a pretendida e depois afinal tinha de ir para arranjar e só tinham a opção mais cara. Julgamos que tendo em conta esta situação teriam em consideração o preço mas cobraram exatamente igual. Com todo o cuidado do staff durante a estadia não esperávamos no final esta atitude visto que não tivemos culpa de não ter a outra mota que foi para arranjar

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kayuan Lumbur. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome; warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile. They also helped us arrange a scooter, super handy to go around town! The resort sits in a beautifully calm spot just off the road, surrounded by lush greenery, and yet it never felt remote or inconvenient. The pool was stunning and a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and a lovely retreat to come back to every day. The food was so good we ended up eating there every single day. If you’re heading to Ubud and want somewhere peaceful, personal, and with genuinely great food and staff, don’t look any further. We’ll absolutely be back.

Lep miran resort. Sobe komforne, mi smo bili smesteni u sobu sa pogledom na bazen i dzunglu. Osoblje divno, predivno, dorucak korektan. Najvise nam se dopao bazen koji je ima pogled na dzunglu, i djakuzi koji mozete koristiti besplatno, kao i saunu. Masaza se dodatno naplacuje, ali cena je povoljna oko 12e za sat vremena. Objekat poseduje sve sto je potrebno da ceo dan ne morate da izlazite i da se lepo odmorite nakon puta. Odnos cene i kvaliteta opravdan.

Personnel très très gentil, toujours présent, bon petit déjeuner, j’ai même pu prendre mon petit dej emporté parce que je partais tôt, chambre très spacieuse, en vrai tout était parfait…

Éviter les chambres avec des hauts plafond en bambou si vous aimez pas les insectes haha

Best Staff and easy to communicate just with one message in WhatsApp and it was easy to access every place from the resort.

The spa could focus on cleanliness as it felt a bit unhygienic and also they can make some changes to the setup inside the room interiors in terms of furniture placements

Het uitzicht was mooi in de jungle en het zwembad en warmwaterbad waren heerlijk

Onze kamer was niet heel schoon. Ze hebben deze de volgende dag (omdat wij al wilde slapen) wel netjes goed schoongemaakt. Alleen blijft de tegelvloer een beetje plakkerig.
