The bathroom sink wouldn’t go warm. It views as if there are two beds- misleading. The shower had a weird musky smell. Pillows weren’t very comfortable.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026Janice was very responsive to our queries and very helpful. When we got delayed by ferry cancellations from the South Island Janice refunded our missed night and then helped us reschedule the 1 night we could stay. The accomodation was perfect for our needs and very clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the washing machine as many places it seems do not offer one. . Thankyou Janice.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025It was very quiet, cosy, and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Great bathroom, took a long while for hot water to come through shower but good pressure and eventually lovely and hot. The unit is small, but newish, very quiet. One thing tho; its advertised as 2 bedroom, however that is misleading. I looked for the second bedroom. There is no second bedroom. It is a one bedroom unit, with a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The sofa bed is very firm. I found it comfortable but others might find it too hard. Overall, excellent value for the money.
Advertised as 2 bedroom, when it is one bedroom plus a sofa bed in lounge.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025The place is very tidy and clean and it was only 11 mins away from the event place so we were very happy with the location. The amenities were all up to-date - enough towels for our 3 night stay and the walk-in wardrobe was quite spacious. They had all the kitchen amenities including front loader washing machine and clothes rail for outside drying and pegs. Shampoo and shower gel provided as well, which is a bonus.
Toilet was close to the kitchen.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2025Very responsive hosts. Easy access to the unit. Private and well presented unit with a super comfortable bed. Was warm and cosy once heated. Kitchen was well resourced and having an washing machine available was great. ( although due to no dryer I dried my clothes on the heated towel rail as I arrived late and left early in the morning ) Great to have off street parking and it was only a short walk to a number of suitable places for dinner. If I hadn't read the comment about the towels being in the bedroom cupboard I might have missed them, but plenty were available. Recommend a stay here.
Not a huge deal but although available, TV streaming wasnt logged in to an account.
