The location of the camp is excellent, it's on top of the dunes so you get a beautiful view both day and night. Communication was very good, the camp arranged transport from and back to Bidiyah for 6r each which was very fair. The activities at the camp were good too- we went dune bashing with Salim (who is an excellent driver and a warm host) and went on the atv ride with Jimmy who was a very friendly and enthusiastic and helpful member of staff. Can definitely recommend this camp.

Рядом почти никого нет. Есть шатры и домики со всеми удобствами. У нас был забронирован шатёр, но хозяин абсолютно бесплатно переселил нас в домик. В домике очень уютно, чисто, кровати удобные. Отдельно привезли матрас и постельное бельё для ребёнка. Ужин — выше всех похвал. Это не первая страна, где мы заказывали ужин в пустыне, но здесь кормят по-настоящему до отвала: курица, овощи, фасоль, фрукты, финики, чай, самса, фалафель, и, конечно же, лепёшки и арабский кофе. Затем был костёр и рассказы о путешествиях. Утром — верблюды и квадроциклы, а также великолепный завтрак, включённый в стоимость номера. И небольшой презент при выезде. Супер место, супер приём, супер впечатления! Однозначно рекомендую.

El campamento es genial!!! Las jaimas muy cuidadas y limpias. Cenamos allí y tanto la cena como el desayuno nos parecieron exquisitos. Los trabajadores del campamento son encantadores, disfrutan de su trabajo y eso se nota en el trato. Nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos y compartieron su tiempo libre con nosotros. Lo recomiendo 100%

Chambre-tente sur pilotis spacieuse et confortable avec WC et douche sans toit (pour voir les étoiles !). Petite terrasse surélevée face au lever du soleil. Bonne literie propre. Personnel sympathique, pas trop insistant pour les excursions. Transfert possible depuis le fort de Bidiya (20 minutes) si vous n'avez pas de 4x4 (6 OMR par personne). Possibilité de prendre sur place le repas du soir (buffet copieux) et le petit déjeuner (correct). Au sommet d'une haute dune, assez loin des autres campement mais lumières de la ville visible la nuit.

Le tissu de la tente est un peu abîmé, surtout la partie qui sert de volet. Nous avons du vent à la tombée de la nuit, l'air s'engouffrait de partout et la tente tremblait... Pas beaucoup de sucré dans le petit déjeuner. Pas de prise dans les tentes.

Plenty of space in the tent.. The food was amazing, the tents were elevated off the ground and away from the blowing sand, the views were great, the opportunity to explore the dunes on foot was amazing, the campfire created a cozy atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sunset jeep tour was amazing. It even exceeded our expectations. We were able to ski down the dunes with snowbords. We didn't even want to leave camp. Thank you very much.

Food was amazing, the tents were up off the ground and away from the blowing sand, great views, being able to explore the dunes on foot was terrific, fire pit gave atmosphere, staff were very friendly and accomodating

Breakfast and dinner were fine. There were many possible activities and services, although overpriced.

There was a bad smell in the tent and in the toilette. The common area was not well kept. Inside the tent there was electocity (light and fan), but without Electric al sockets.

W samym środku pustyni. Musisz mieć samochód 4x4 żeby tu dojechać albo cie zabiorą za dodatkową opłatą. Skorzystaj z wycieczki na wydmy na zachód słońca i oczywiście z kolacji regionalnej. Pokoje na palach czyste i przyjemne z łazienką z prysznicem.

Petit déjeuner suffisant et compte-tenu de l'emplacement on ne s'attendait pas à mieux. Chambres-tentes très confortables avec un WC individuel et une petite douche (non testée pour une seule nuit). Emplacement très calme (pas d'autres campements visible depuis notre tente). Belle expérience de lever de soleil sur les dunes (les logements en semi-dur sont orientés vers le coucher de soleil, ceux en tente sur piloti vers le lever).

Nice comfortable stay, amazing sunrise from terrace. Even flush toilet in the desert. Nice extra activities, like camels and quad biking on the dunes.

Pick-up, return, dinner, all had a relatively high extra charge. Pickup is 6 OMR per person

The location is perfect. I missed regular tea and coffee for breakfast because the Omani tasted awful.

It would be nice if there were paths to the tents, like in Jordan or Saudi Arabia. Walking on the sand was very difficult.

We enjoyed everything and the staff was amazing. You should try the tour on the ATV tour with Yasser, he was amazing and we had a lot of fun thanks to him (he also saved us like 10 times)

Lokalizacja doskonała, w około nie widać innych campingów, łóżka bardzo wygodne, w namiotach bardzo czysto. Sam podjazd do campingu dostarczył ciekawych wrażeń, pobyt bardzo udany, smaczne posiłki za dodatkową opłatą także wiele atrakcji. Zobaczyć zachód słońca w takim miejscu - bezcenne. Polecam!

Our stay at Moonlight Camp was truly a wonderful experience. We are a large family with four almost adult children, and we all enjoyed it immensely. The food was excellent — authentic, freshly prepared, and very tasty. Sleeping in the elevated tents was comfortable and pleasant, the beds were cozy, and having a private open-air bathroom as part of the tent was a truly special experience, something you don’t come across every day. What made the stay truly exceptional was the incredible hospitality of the owners. The evening gathering by the fire, the range of activities offered, and the overall care for the guests — in everything we felt genuine attention and a real effort to make everyone feel welcome. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our stay in Oman, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Moonlight Camp to anyone looking for an authentic desert experience.

Be aware of additional charge in terms of transportation and dinner. Some of the staff were quite grumpy. We were accused by the man doing the check in that we said we were 2 people instead of 3 even though we specifically booked for 3 pax and mentioned it in WhatsApp beforehand as well. I felt this was not a very service-oriented behaviour.

This place is far enough away from everything else, making it incredibly private—there's no one else around. You're truly in the desert. Also, taking an open-air shower with the moon is so cool 😄. The stuff is incredibly hospitable and they will be with you every single time whenever you need them. Mr Salim and his brother Yasir specifically are gentlemen who will always smile ☺️. The people who operate & execute this experience are actually bedouins. Truly wonderful people!!! Special mention to the amazing food that was served. Homely cooked meals met with amazing level of hospitality. I had the best Mishkak here at Moon Light Luxury Camp.

The hosts stick to every agreement, are punctual, and overall just great. Everything went smoothly, and we had a very pleasant experience. The food was very tasty and excellent. I definitely recommend having them take you to the big sand dune.

The experience in the desert is a must and the tents in the camp allow for a good view over the surroundings. A couple of camels are available for a ride which is a nice thing to do. Dinner is good with many options. The tent amenities are sufficient and private.

We were disappointed by the absence of any authentic Omani experience. Given the price, we were expecting some entertainment in the evenings to help us better understand the traditional way of living in the desert but the camp owners didn’t offer anything of the sort. Also, some lights between the tents would be good to help us see the way once it gets dark. Breakfast is a bit light.

The tent on stilts was amazing!When it’s windy you can enjoy the breeze without being blasted by sand. The large deck means you can sleep under the stars if you want or you can sit in the shade above the communal food tent( which has A/C and plugs to charge phones!)

Nice and spacious, dinner buffet is good and plenty, breakfast is good too. Charging station is in the common areas and the bathroom is outdoor -private, in your room, but no ceiling-, so just make sure you shower during the day.

I liked the location the most. In the middle of nowhere with no other camp in sight. The perfect Arabian nights feeling at night . Amir and yasir are perfect hosts and did dune bashing nicely. They treated us to Arabian omani hospitality with dates and coffee during iftar. He took us to the highest Dune. Kitchen staff were courteous as well with Indian styled cooking with veg and non veg options.

They should have charging points in the tents. We had to charge them in the dining hall.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was fabolous. From the moment Hamood picked us at the parking, than first sip of Omani coffee and chill at the terrace, later sunset at the desert and dinner with great variaty of food. I really appreciate that Hamood made outside fire and offered tea. Great conversation with many people. In the morning again beautiful sunrise. Everything was very enjoyable!

This accommodation in the middle of the desert exceeded our expectations. The tents were very comfortable, tea, coffee and dates were available all the time, the breakfast was delicious. We also received precise instructions on how to find our way by car through the desert, which was very helpful. Payment is also possible here by card.

Among many camp, the moon light camp is higher and off the road gorgeous tents, bed, bathroom we stay 3 nights while people tend to just pass, it was great to walk around the dunes at sunrise and sunset great meal (a bit expensive in relation of other places) but variated and tasty

they are very many camps around Biddiya, so you have almost always humans presence under the eyes, or a jeep bringing tourist around disturbing the peace of the dunes it's close to Biddya, so you do not get the dark night to watch the sky properly

We had a lovely stay here! The camp was in a great location to watch the sunrise, the bed was super comfortable, dinner was delicious and we had a lovely evening around the fire pit with marshmallows and Omani tea! Make sure you arrive before sunset so you can watch it in the dessert - we did dune bashing at sunset which was a lot of fun! Would recommend!

Great location - close enough to find it with the tips of the host and far enough to not be disturbed by the city light at night. Very comfy bed and private bathroom - clever orientation so that the open bathroom (no roof) does not heat up even during the day.

The dinner was slightly overpriced for 5 OMR. It was good and it is in the desert, but if you can bring your own stuff you won't miss out much.

The hosts are really nice, rescuing visitors from being stuck in the sands. The dinner is optional, however, we still booked it as there is no restaurant nearby. I expected it just a meal set instead of a tasty buffet! Me and my partner had a good stay at Moon Light Camp.

There was campfire at the evening and unexpected fireworks. Camp is located far away from other camps and far enough from the city. Wahiba Sands itself is amazing place with orange sand.

There are tens of desert camps in the Bidiyah area, but this one is among those with the best location. It is a bit further away from the town compared to most of the others, it is quite a distance away from the other camps, and is located on the higher ground, offering spectacular views and easy access to the dunes. The tents are spacious and cozy. The beds were the most comfortable of all I slept in while in Oman. Considering that the camp is in the desert, everything was unbelievably clean. All staff members were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and the dinner were tasty, varied and plentiful. Drinking water was provided throughout the day.

The masala tea served at breakfast was good, but the coffee was probably the worst I had in my life, so better avoid it :) Drinking water is provided in small plastic bottles (0.25 litre). Considering how much water is drank in the camp every day (heat, sand, dry climate), this means a mountain of plastic waste. I would prefer if the water was available in jars or water dispensers.

Wonderful place in the beautiful wahiba sands. The tents have a toilet and shower and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long time! The staff are fantastic and they also offer dune bashing and camel riding if you like, as well as a pick up and drop off at Biddyah for OMR 10. Highly recommended.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Camp. The tents were spacious and very clean with big and comfortable mattrasses. We had the option to purchase the dinner, a buffet of delicious food, always followed by a bonfire and roasting marshmallows, making it a unique experience :). Special thanks to Amur, Yasser and the rest of the crew for their welcome and friendliness, we really loved it.

Amazing camp with great conditions. It is located further from the main road so it is very quiet and it has great views of sunrise and sunset. We chose the option of having dinner there, it had a big choice and it was very tasty. We were picked up from Bidiyah for very reasonable price (special thanks to our driver Yasir). We would love to come back one day :-)

A very nice camp at the top of a dune. The dinner was especially good. Easy transfer from Bidiya - I recommend to contact the camp even if you have a 4x4.

Breakfast leaves some room for improvement. The camp itself is close to Bidiya, so don't expect dark skies and great star visibility.

The campsite was away from all the other crowded campsites in a beautiful tranquil setting. The tents were exceptionally comfortable and clean. The food was excellent and plentiful. The entertainment/gathering around the after-dinner campfire was lovely and all the activities were thrilling!

Awesome time! The staff, tents, dune views, activities and comfortable beds were epic. We've been travelling for 3 months now and these were the most comfortable beds we've had, slept so well. There's also ensuite bathroom for all the tents, which are raised on platforms with great views. We enjoyed the dune bashing and sand boarding activities. Most of all we enjoyed the staff and their warmth, friendliness and good vibes. Awesome to hang out with. Also the food and campfire were excellent.

Communication was easy and clear. We opted for a transfer from Bidiyah. The transfer was relatively smooth and reasonable. The location was remote, quiet and adventurous. The tent was awesome! Comfortable beds, functional toilet and the elevated balcony view was amazing. We could walk to a high dune and watch Sunset. In the night there was campfire. Dinner was very good.

One more table and a place to hang clothes would be nice. Missed the local stories, during the night campfire. Breakfast could have more options.

The camp is on top of the dunes instead of being at the bottom of a valley, which makes it ideal for the views on sunset and sunrise. Food is excellent and the hosts are just amazing!

It was a great experience. It exceeded our expectations in every sense. Sleeping in de desert is a unique experience but the people of the moon light luxury camp (both staff and the other guests) made it an even more exceptional experience. Really, it was just great. The dinner and the breakfast we had there were incredible. Spending some time talking to each other around the fire under the light of the moon and the stars was so nice.

Amazing camp in the Bidiyah desert. Wonderfully situated - beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Nice, spatious tents with comfortable beds. Available activities: dune bashing, camel riding. Camel riding is quite short (~600 metres and back) but still it's nice experience. There is no possibility to charge phones in the tents, but staff are very friendly and allow you to charge your phone in the common area or the kitchen.

All was splendid It starts with the place location, slightly further than most other camps, you will stay on top of a dune with a breath taking view on the forever sand desert. Then the tent is luxurious, it is large, the beds are huge and the sheet are better than your home ones. The bed is so confortable, we might have the best night. Finally the dinner food was tasteful. The nights end with a fire under the stars ✨.

We had a great one night stay at Moon light luxury camp , where we watched stars and shooting stars. The tent itself was on the higher floor which gives feeling safe and secure. Everything was provided in the tent such as towels, dental kits, soups and bedding . They provided breakfast for us the next morning. Simple and tasty. We appreciate Mr. Amr and Mr.Salim for providing pick up and drop off to the main road. The owners were super friendly and helpful. If you stay at this camp DO NOT MISS sunset from the sand hills and sunrise from your tent. We would definitely come back here and I would highly recommend. Thank you for everything.

The Moon light camp is an absolutely amazing place to stay if you’d like to experience the desert. The people that work there are very caring and are available whenever you need them! Sunset tour highly recommended, one of our highlights 😍 all wheel drive cars (such as Kia Sportage or Peugeot 3008) are not ideal (we got stuck in the sand), so please consider the pick-up service that is offered!! :)

There is nothing that we didn’t like :) just as an advice: Arrive during day light or shortly before/ during sunset. There are no electricity plugs so charge your devices before your stay. However you can also give them your device so they’ll charge it :)

We spent two nights in the desert and this camp was the best choice we could have made. The people working there were so friendly, the surroundings are breathtaking, the tents are really luxurious, don't miss it when you go to Wahiba Sands.
