Sehr gepflegtes und recht neu renoviertes Ferienhaus, welches komplett ausgestattet ist. Die Lage ist sehr schön - ruhig und toller Blick über das Tal. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this very cute, beautifully refurbished cottage in such a peaceful location — with only a few sheep for neighbours! It’s perfectly situated for exploring Ardara, Narin Beach, Portnoo, Maghera Beach & Caves, Killybegs and so much more. The views from every window were amazing and at night the cottage looked like something straight out of a fairytale. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious and had everything we needed, including the very welcome iron and ironing board! The showers were great, there was plenty of hot water, the beds were comfy and the underfloor heating was easy to use. A brilliant place to stay and a fantastic base for exploring Donegal. Thank you for a wonderful holiday — we’d definitely recommend it!

The only downside for us was the sofa and armchairs which we found quite low and lacking in support, so they weren’t the most comfortable for relaxing after a day exploring, which was disappointing when everything else about the cottage was so good.

We loved the location and sitting on the deck in the evening. Lovely places to visit nearby. Gerard has done an amazing job renovating the cottage to a high standard.

We found the sofa and chairs uncomfortable. Perhaps a few more kitchen items.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great and very convenient. Everything inside is new, modern, and spotlessly clean. The lodge is very cozy and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend it to others. We would also like to give special thanks to the owner. We accidentally left our charger at the lodge, and he kindly sent it back to us. He is a very kind and helpful man, and we truly appreciate his generosity and support. Thank you so much for a lovely experience! We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

The place was spotless, beds were very comfortable, the hot water was plentiful which was great with 6 of us staying. The views were absolutely beautiful, everything was peaceful, cosy and well looked after. The couch was a little low for our liking but that was only a tiny detail in a otherwise brilliant stay! Location was great, with both killybegs and Ardara only over the road!

The place is beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated with great country views from every window and a welcoming host.

The Lodge has a lovely location with amazing views of the Irish nature. It is very cozy with a fire place, underfloor heating and radiators to keep everyone warm.

The accommodation was spotless and so comfortable. Everything you needed for the stay was there . The house was modern and had a lovely peaceful vibe.

You will need a car. That did not bother us as we did not want to be near a town anyway.

The Gamekeeper's Lodge had the rustic facade of an 18th century building but an interior that was completely modernized. The bedrooms were perfect with a master bedroom en suite and two very comfortable bedrooms upstairs. It is a very private location with a nice area to park in front of the lodge. My two companions and I were delighted with the accommodation and the friendliness of our host, Gerard.

We were a bit confused about using the combination washer/dryer and never did figure the dryer out so our clothes were still wet. My suggestion is to have very specific instructions on using the machine, but in no way did it dampen our enthusiasm or enjoyment of the property. It was a top notch property.

Beautiful location; we saw rabbits, a fox, a deer, and a hare while sitting out on the decking.

Just 7min from Killybegs. Surrounded by mountains. Nice and friendly owner Ger. Very cosy, newly built holiday home. Looks tiny in the pictures but so much space inside. Book and check this out! 3 bedrooms with very comfy double beds. And sitting room has unfoldable couch. Very good wifi. Perfect place to detox your mind & soul. So close to beautiful Maghera Beach, which wasn't overcrowded. And waterfall just minutes of driving. While brother was fishing in the ocean, there was time to explore Donegal. P.S. Don't follow google maps the last 10min, unless you want unforgetable rocky mountain drive with like in the movies😄 Drive to Killybegs first and then take a good straight road to this little gem house!

We regreted for not booking second night, but we had to go back home with the catch from the ocean 🐟

Looked like the photos, was very clean and comfortable. And only a 5 minute drive into the town of Ardara! A great little place for a group looking to explore the area!

A Really clean stylish house .The stove made it really cosy. Very peaceful location. A nice place to comeback to in the evenings- stove heated the place quickly. Hot showers.

I'd like it to be a little easier to regulate the heat. Sometimes, at night it felt a little too warm, but thus is a minor issue. All in all a lovely place to stay in

The property looked magical when we drove up to it during the night. We actually got lost and the host found us to help us out and was so kind. The place was beautiful inside and so new and clean.

Great location to explore Ardara, Slieve League, Silverstrand... The Lodge is newly renovated and well equipped. Nice bathrooms with great showers. Everything was very clean. Location is just off N56, 10min from Ardara and very quiet.

The grounds outside need some love, but understandable considering we were the first guests after completion of renovations of the old cottage.
