Couldn't even get check in.
This is a total SCAM, Booked this 4 days before arriving. We got there and they told us we had to "discuss the price" and explained that the owner changed. We had to wait for the guy in charge to arrive who just explained that the previous owner left without paying him for the rent of the place so now he has to get more money for the rooms. We told him we were sorry about that situation but that's not really our issue, we already booked something and it should be respected, so they told us just to leave if we were not going to pay the new price which was more than double of what we booked. After that we read the comments in Google maps and some of them were about the exact situation weeks before "they changed the owner". This is your business so you should be able to handle it without making the clients pay for your problems. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST BOOK SOMETHING ELSE.

Everything, guy on reception was drunk, tried to charge me $70 for a room and scooter hire when I hadn't, I was just checking in.. No toiletries,no towels, tv not work, no hot water, wifi not work properly, when I asked about towels just got told ..No have... Leaking toilet water pipe, mosquitoes in room and flies, ... Even though only $9.00 for room, still not worth it... Stay away ..
DO NOT STAY HERE! TRUST THE REVIEWS! I booked king room with balcony for 5 nights. When I checked in, the manager said the room is not available because AC is broken. So he told me to stay in a room without balcony for one night & he’ll move me to my room the next day at 12pm. The next day, I came down at 11:30am. The cleaning lady said my king room is not ready. So I went out. I came back at 6pm. The manager told me that the king room is given to someone else because I didn’t check out at 12pm! Pure lie!!!! I came down at 11:30am. No one told me to check out! The manager has anger issue. When I argue with him, he yelled at me & kicked me out. I booked the room a month ago for 5 nights. I had to pack my stuff to find another hotel again… As of the room, there’s no water when I tried to shower at 1am(I arrived late). I didn’t tell him because it was late & I thought I’ll change my room the next day anyway. Now I found a clean & spacious homestay in a more central location for $10. Avoid this place!
Really bad service
Worst . I was asking them through booking.com and is it okay to do a late check in they said it’s okay . Until I was arrive in the hotel . There no staff and I was arrive around 11PM . The staff was sleeping and I called him and he didn’t wake up. I don’t know but I feel disappointed. Because I asks them about it . Plus it’s mid night and we have to sit just to booked another hotel :))
The room was nice, the bed was confortable.
The room has no window, so it was a little dark. At 6am the personal was putting music, cleaning, talking loudly and moving things around... That was not nice.
Nice place out the way from the all the goings on coffee shop next door about 10 minutes walk from old market cheap place I will book that again across the road is a ABA baank staff was helpful cheerful we drove our bike there plenty of room to park
All good
Panha and the atmosphere. Also, the bed was very comfortable!
The internet was slow and dropped all the time. Never for long.
Wonderful stay. staff is friendly and room are comfy

The Hotel was Fine :) Looked nice, rooms nice. We had no warm Water in the shower and no shower curtains so everything got wet in the bathroom But it dried. Towels a Bit stainy. The Service at the reception was nice, but often asleep. Which I understand haha. Only one could speak English. Overall we can only recomend for the Price. Its quiet and near to Angkor Wat. A Lot of cute Frogs in the Garden and we were Lucky that the Mama cat of the Hotel had Sweet Little kitten playing around :)
Some Communication problems but okay No warm Water in the shower
The rooms are clean and cozy, the tropical garden is beautiful, and the service is top-notch. Great value and very welcoming atmosphere.
Peaceful and beautiful place surrounded by nature. The garden and pool are perfect for relaxing, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!
Staff
Botanic Garden Villa is a true escape in Siem Reap. The tropical garden setting and kind staff made my stay unforgettable.

Lovely stay! Clean rooms, quiet atmosphere, and great service. A hidden gem just minutes away from the city center.

Their knowledge of the local area, helpful suggestions, and willingness to assist with every little detail made my trip truly unforgettable. Whether it was helping organize transport, suggesting the best hidden spots in Siem Reap, or simply offering a friendly conversation, their dedication and professionalism truly stood out.

I had an amazing stay at Botanic Garden Villa! The property feels like a peaceful oasis, surrounded by lush gardens that create a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with local touches. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, from arranging tuk-tuk rides to giving great recommendations for exploring Siem Reap. The pool area was perfect for cooling off after a day at the temples, and the on-site restaurant served delicious, fresh meals. It’s the ideal place to unwind while still being just a short ride away from Angkor Wat and the city center. I highly recommend Botanic Garden Villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Siem Reap!
Gud ambiance
Very very not recommended, bad services, bad facilities and very dirty The AC was broken and can't slept on the first day and the electricity click noise every minutes, made it worst !! Then moved to other room with a bit better AC The room never been clean during our stay and no amenities at all, no water and not even a soap Location also far and not even listed on Grab Can't stand it anymore, checkout on the 3rd day, and not even a word from the hotel Even the price is quite low, not worth the stay at all. Don't trust the photo!
The hotel itself is really nice. A bit outside of the main city area, around 30 mins walking. But there a few cafes and restaurants around. The rooms are good and clean. The staff itself is friendly but still everything a bit chaotic. They gave me the wrong room and no one was able to fix it because the one responsible was not available. So a bumpy start but in the end the thing that matters is the comfort of the room. I would say good potential, maybe with a bit more experience it will be better.
We got there after a long trip only to be told the bathroom was broke and we couldn’t stay in the room - they also didn’t have a spare room so we had to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. Would have been nice to have been told before we got there regarding the room!!
Very helpfull and nice staff. They can help you in transfer from and to airport and organise any trip you want in good price, for example most popular Angkor Wat and floating village. Just right next to the hotel three is local restaurant with good food in good prices.
In rooms you can feel a little moisture, but it's seems to be normal in this climate. If you don't like high humidity better make sure, that you reserve a room with window.

Nice room and affordable price
Great location. As per usual, the pictures are not asthe reality..if they want to stay a 2 star, then it's OK.
no breakfast, but great coffee right next door
the water in the shower was not contained properly
They were doing lots of fixing up, mostly gardening, painting pots, making it green. As a gardener n home renovator I was interested in their project. They covered a walkway, which was noisy but it will be a great improvement in the monsoon season.
The bathroom/shower floor needs better slope because the water pools. I brought it to their attention n I’m sure it will be on the fix list.
I am not sure about the negative feedback from other travelers but to me, it's a great stay as they have big space of seating area for eating and tropical garden. well., the price is reasonable comparing to others.
the facilities is just ok to use with that price rang. so it's not a complain.
Close to temples, streetfood and free botanic garden
The staff is friendly the hotel is small but they have big garden and space to relax
Management approach that tries to deceive regular customers. Dirty and bug-infested rooms
The environment
The entrance looked nice and full of expectations we checked in. We had booked a room with a terrace, but we got a room with a small window with a view of a wall... The bathroom was dirty (green residue on the bath, hair...) When we asked for the other room it was possible to change (there were no other guests in the hotel), but the stench was unbearable. When we took a shower the water remained on the floor. To make matters worse the electricity was constantly clicking so it was impossible to sleep. We were going to stay here for 2 nights. We decided to leave here and book another hotel. We asked for our money back, luckily this was no problem!!
Location is a big plus as it is closed to Angkor Wat, shopping mall, restaurant and ATM.
