Cosy Double Private Room Near Dublin Airport

The facilities in the room were good on the whole.

The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, there was a patch of mold in the bedroom, it had a funny smell in the room and some communication about nearby shops, restaurants, etc would've been helpful.

It was a good price and close to the airport . Very nice owners and family

Ein Zimmer mitten im Haus der Familie, das Bad schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht klar, ob Gemeinschaftsbad oder nicht. Für eine Nacht zur Durchreise okay.

La proximité avec l'aéroport est un plus . L'hôte est très sympathique .La salle de bain est partagée ( cela n'a pas été un gros problème malgré trop d'affaires appartenant à la famille qui trainaient ) mais mériterait une petite rénovation et davantage de rangement .... mais le prix est très raisonnable (à peine plus de 80 euros) donc pour une ou deux nuits c'est acceptable ! Le petit frigo dans la chambre est très appréciable ainsi que la possibilité de se garer devant la maison .

La salle de bain pourrait être mieux rangée et la robinetterie de la baignoire changée

There was absolutely nothing "cosy" about this! Mouldy and dirty bathroom which apparently has not been cleaned in years. Used tissues scattered around the bed (Hosts:I mean why bother picking them up?! I hope you at least changed the bed linen, right?!) Until late into the night we heared loud discussions from the couple... Disgusting smell in the whole house that could not be avoided by a closed room door and by opening the window. Message to the host: Please stop hosting if you are incapable!

Muita poeira nos itens do quarto, banheiro compartilhado não estava muito limpo, muito longe do centro de Dublin, tive dificuldades com o transporte pois não aceitavam dinheiro, apenas o cartão específico da Irlanda (achei que seria bom estar perto do show e castelo mas no fim tive muita dificuldade com táxis e distância de tudo)

Devant la porte d’entré c’est un bazar, les tongues qui traînent, les trottinettes des enfants, pas du tout accueillante, tu n’as pas l’envie de rentrer dans la maison, Au première etage la chambre qui est assez grande , mais la aussi un pull qui traîne dans un coin, la salle de bain : j’ai toute de suite décide que je ne prenais pas ma douche là , c’était sale et ça sentait la moisissure. Pas du tout un endroit pour accueillir les gens/les touristes. Le prix est quand même 85€!!! De la part de Booking je ne comprends pas trop leurs critères et contrôles sur certaines locations. J'utilise souvent booking et je suis rarement déçu. Je pense que la propriétaire est sûrement très gentil, je ne l’ai pas vu mais assez bon contact via sms. Mais il faut expliquer quels critères pour pouvoir accueillir les gens.

Le propriétaire est à l'écoute de ses hôtes, de bon conseil, la chambre est propre et bien équipée, l'endroit est très calme. Le bus 41 est en ligne directe entre l'aéroport et la location.

D'après l'intitulé de la location, on peut croire qu'elle se trouve à côté de l'aéroport. C'est vrai si on est en voiture (à peu près à 10 minutes), mais en bus c'est à une demi-heure et le bus 41 vient toutes les 40 minutes.

The family that lives in this house was very nice.

I didn’t realize that this was in a very residential area about 3 miles from downtown swords. there is a bus within about a five minute walk. I also didn’t realize that this was primarily the families home and I wasn’t comfortable being any place except in the room, I slept in.

La saleté : La salle de bain était dans un état, jamais vu: La paume de douche était pleine de moisissure gélatineuse . Le frigo contenait de vieux aliments abîmés. L'emplacement est un peu éloigné du centre de Swords, mais desservi par les bus.

- pas propre : frigo débranché avec de la nourriture dedans qui pourrissait (odeurs…) - salle de bain partagée avec les propriétaires de la maison qui est sale - désordonnée : tous les effets personnels des propriétaires et leur enfant sont disposés dans la maison - odeurs très désagréables dans la maison Les propriétaires et leur enfant sont rentrés tard le soir sans faire attention au bruit : cris, discussions à voix très élevées, passages bruyants et nombreux devant la chambre (qui fait face à la SDB). Nous avons très mal dormis et ne nous sentions pas à l’aise Le prix abusif n’est absolument pas à la hauteur de la qualité du service !!

The bathroom was filthy. I’m glad I showered at the place I stayed previously. They didn’t even have a hand towel. It was shared with the family that lives there.

Good value at sixty euro for high priced dublin area, easy busride (#41 swords manor, zone15, need 2 euro in coins (no notes, no change)). This is a room with shared hallway bathroom in Bengali family home. Has fridge, microwave, tea kettle, instant coffee, one silverware set and ketchup for your fish&chips. Very nice owner with lovely kids. Spar supermarket 10min walk. Address is found on google maps.

Bathroom is cluttered and needs mildew removed. It works well for a layover but i would not use it as a base to explore dublin for multiple days. No temperature control in room.

Strategická poloha blízko letiska, cca 20 minút linkou 41 mestskej hromadnej dopravy dublin city bus, ktorej zastávka je priamo pred bránou komplexu domov, kde sa ubytovanie nachádza. Výborné ubytovanie pre tých, ktorí potrebujú krátkodobo prespať po prílete alebo pred odletom. Čistá izba s pohodlnou posteľou, vybavená rýchlovarnou konvicou, mikrovlnou rúrou, chladničkou, priborom a taniermi. V cene boli dve fľaše balenej vody.

Izba sa nachádza v dome, kde žije s rodinou domáci. To nie je problém, pretože domáci je milý a aj deti sa vedia pekne pozdraviť. Menším problémom však bola dosť špinavá vaňa v spoločne využívanej kúpeľni s množstvom vecí a neporiadku uložených na jej okrajoch, kde som sa necítil ok. Keď domáci zapracuje na čistote vane a celkovo kúpeľne, bude to ok a v hodnotení sa to prejaví o jednou hviezdičkou viac.

Just like last time it was an excellent stay at a location close to the airport. It's what i needed. The host is friendly and the room is clean.

He changed the small room into a big room which is more expensive. I was fine with the cheaper small one but ok i get it from an entrepreneurial standpoint and respect that. No milk for coffee.

The place was very clean, the owner arranged easy check-in and check-out. It was easy to find an relatively close to Dublin airport.

Pillows were very hard and big, impossible to use. The rooms have very thin walls and as there are more rooms, I could hear neighbours leaving and arriving during the night and I had hard time sleeping.

Got let in at 3am in the morning after leaving car keys inside. On bus route to both Dublin and Airport.

This room was exactly what I needed - a quiet, comfortable spot, not far from the airport, where I could rest before continuing my journey. Asif was a great and kind host and communicated well during the process.

Close to the airport, the room is very clean, small but comfortable. There’s a microwave, a fridge and a kettle, which makes it perfect for a short stay for an early flight. It’s a family home, which is not necessarily what everyone is looking for, but the family is lovely. I stayed when I landed late, and returned the night before my early flight.

It wasn't entirely clear on the website, but the room is in the owner's actual home (the room has a key so I had no concerns about privacy) so I met the entire family, including his lovely daughter. The room is small and a bit basic, but clean and with everything you might need: microwave, kettle, mini fridge, plates and cutlery; tap water is drinkable, but there were also two bottles of water available. Asif and his family are very welcoming, and the neighbourhood is nice: very residential, close to a couple of nice park and only a short walk away from a pub. I stayed there one night when I arrived straight from the airport, and came back for my last night before an early flight.

It wasn't clear to me that this was a room in a family's house. Small room and small bathroom.

Asif was brilliant....easy to communicate with and super accommodating. Room was well stocked with fridge, kettle, water etc. Felt really well looked after.

The owner was there to greet me at the stipulated time of 6.00 pm which I thought was very late to be the earliest check in time. Also, there was a fridge in the room with a couple of drinks supplied.

The address was mis-described as “Lioscian” which made it appear as if it was the name of a street or a road, but it is actually 2 words and is the name of a housing estate, not a street or road as it appeared. Therefore, no one knew where it was and no one could help me find it. Giving a correct address and good instructions as to the location is vital, especially, where it is a private residence with no signage to assist. This was just someone’s disorganised house, and it was not organised enough to invite tourists into, let alone offer comfort and a clean environment to spend the night. This house should not be operating as a tourist facility. I would be ashamed to even offer a bed for free here, given the very poor set up, disorganised home and general clutter everywhere. Not suitable at all!
