Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The staff was so helpful and they let me check in in the morning after my night bus. They also helped me a lot with tours and recommendations and were always there to help with anything. It is a very peaceful place with a nice swimming pool and a terrace to watch the sunsets from.
The breakfast could have been a bit more diverse and nutritious. It doesn’t fill you up.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026This was the best place we stayed on our trip. Easy location, close walk to La Punta. Lots of space to hang out, very nice clean pool and facilities. Staff were lovely, helped us with a taxi and let us use facilities after checkout. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yogurt and toast, served on the top deck with a view. Comfy beds

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026The location of the hostel is perfect, just on a small hill away from the main street but close to all shops, restaurants and beach of La Punta. There is a lot of space to hang out, including the pool and the shaded area around it. The dorms are spacious and pod-style beds are very comfortable, with your own plug, light and shelf. I enjoyed being in a girls-only room so much! Great roof terrace too. There is enough space to hang wet towels, and each dorm has its own locker near the showers, too.
The breakfast could be a little bit better - maybe some eggs or more yoghurt. Also, some of the ropes on the ladders are getting undone, which poses risks of slipping down - I was on the third floor, so I often feared I'm going to fall. This is not a social hostel, so there are no activities, but I didn't mind.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Increíble! Sinceramente un gran lugar, por mucho superó las expectativas. El desayuno aunque es ligero te hace un suuuper paro si vas de mochilazo. El personal es super lindo y atento, muy buenas recomendaciones y te apoyan demasiado antes, durante y después de tu estancia
A mis amigas y a mi nos tocó en la tercera litera de los dormitorios. Al principio se sintió mortal pero después divertido, con todo lo demás es a lo que menos le des interés

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026La ubicación del hostel es perfecta, la vista de la terraza es probablemente de las mejores vistas de Punta Zicatela, el hostel está en un muy buen mantenimiento y el personal además de amable está muy orientado al detalle me han dado todos buenas recomendaciones de cómo aprovechar mis días en Puerto Escondido.

Mir persönlich war es abends / nachts viel zu laut, da immer laute Musik lief. Das Zimmer fand ich etwas teuer für ein Hostel mit knapp 95€ die Nacht. Und die Dusche war etwas nervig, da man sie nicht auf die richtige Temperatur einstellen konnte (entweder sehr kaltes oder sehr heisses Wasser)

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026El Staff fue muy amable y dispuestos a dar informacion. Es obviamente un lugar para jovenes, pero apesar de eso nos atendieron muy bien. No utilizamos su cocina ni alberca, asi que no tengo nada que comentar al respecto.
Quiza que no habia un estacionamiento, y si mal no recuerdo decia que lo tenia. Pero yo creo que porque llegamos en temporada baja, pues habia mucho espacio en la calle.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Die Qualität vom Hostel ist sehr gut. Vor allem die Aussicht auf den Pazifik vom Rooftop ist phänomenal. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber. Optimales Hostel, wenn man runterkommen möchte. Personal war immer hilfsbereit.
Die dritte Etage bei den Hochbetten empfand ich etwas beängstigend (kein Seitenschutz am Bett). Es gibt an sich keine großen Aktivitäten, sodass es schwierig ist sich mit den Gästen zu connecten. Die meisten sind eher unter sich.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026Amazing reception by the staff working earlier on in the day, throughout the facility. I should have noted their names, so I could thank them personally. They were all warm, polite, hospitable and professional. Exactly what you hope for when arriving for your stay. The rooftop view is amazing. The lounge area around the pool is also great, if you can snag a spot. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast service was truly exceptional.
The evening reception could be improved. I requested a bottom bunk in advance due to a recent ankle injury and received confirmation in writing beforehand. I also arrived earlier in the day to settle my bill and re-confirm my reservation before the official check-in time. However, when I returned to check in, the late afternoon/evening receptionist was unfortunately unwilling to accommodate me.

In de dorm heb je 2 verdiepingen aan bedden. Die 2e verdieping is echt heel erg hoog. Ik heb een verzoek ingediend voor het onderste bed en deze ook gekregen 👍🏻

Small room (private double bed). Labeled as co-working hostel but no space for working. Continental breakfast included but only offers a bowl of fruit/granola/yogurt and two pieces of toast with butter and jam.

La piscine est propre tout comme les locaux. La vue du rooftop est super (possibilité de voir les baleines depuis) et le petit déjeuner est très bon possibilité de se resservir

Reviewed Nov 15, 2025I really liked the privacy the beds give as they are made in concrete and the ladder is fixed and doesn't move so no one makes noise while coming up and down. The hostel environment and terrace is a huge plus, the breakfast too.
The showers could have more hangers or little shelf to put stuffs and there could more facilities to organise our stuff in the dorms

Reviewed Oct 28, 2025The location is amazing, the staff are really nice, it’s super clean, the pool is well maintained and the breakfast is pretty good. The guests were also a really nice cross-section of people and were friendly but also quiet during the nights.
The dorm was rammed. If you’re in one of the higher beds there’s really nowhere to easily keep your stuff and the ladder to bed situation is pretty dangerous (especially if you need to use the bathroom in the night and some of the ropes on the ladders were coming off adding an extra falling risk) and the AC is only on from 9pm to 9am, which means any bed that isn’t on the ground level is almost unusable all day due to the heat .

Pobyt mi více než zpříjemnil vynikající a příjemný personál - od kterého jsem dostal i plno velmi dobrých tipů na jídlo nebo aktivity. Pokud bych jel do této oblasti znova, tak vůbec neváhám se do Punta Kai vrátit

Belles infrastructures, bien entretenue et rooftop avec vue sur la mer ! Un gros plus pour l’intimité des lits (lit dans l’angle avec paroi en béton qui créer un cocon)
Il aurait été chouette qu’il y ait un peu plus d’activités sociales organisées !
