Pure Retreat Lake View

You cannot beat the view was just incredible. The location is good it gives you options to walk into town if you wanted to it wouldn't say it's close but it's not super far and if you wanted to get a Taxi it's not super expensive. Communication was excellent and clear. The facilities were enough for the week-long stay we were there and the beds were comfortable, I loved that they had electric blankets to help keep warm during the night while sleeping.

The road in front is pretty busy so it can get noisy even throughout the evening and also makes driving out of the driveway a little difficult. Although there is a fireplace and AC it takes a little while to get the apartment warm.

There were alot of stairs which were quite steep. Not suitable for people with mobility issues.The reverse cycle air-conditioning in the lounge was not working well and was noisy.

The stairs. Three coffee sachets not quite enough for four adults for three nights. No dish drying towels. Expected to use paper towel to dry dishes is pretty cheap and nasty

We loved our 3 night stay, the views over the lake were gorgeous. The had everything that we needed for our stay, the bed and pillows were like clouds. The location was great, a 15 - 20 minute walk into the main area, which is very handy. We would definitely stay again.

Loved everything about this property. The view over the lake was breathtaking. Well maintained, good floorplan and perfect for 2 couples as each bedroom had an ensuite. We picked the property to end our trip on a high note and this beautiful, lakefront luxury property didn't disappoint.

Some guests may struggle with the steps from the garage/ground level to the front door. The steps were very steep & there were 2 sets. Could be very difficult with heavy suitcases.

Excellent location and panoramic view of the Frankton arm of the lake. Easy amble from the apartment into the main part of Queenstown. Lighting, heating, rooms and bathrooms were lovely and modern.

This lovely modern property had an amazing view . Had everything that we needed .

Just be mindful that there are a lot of stairs to negotiate.

The apartment was very clean with a terrific view of the lake. Cannot fault this stay, we would love to come back.

Absolutely beautiful views

This was the most stunning location we stayed at in NZ. The apartment was more than big enough for a family travelling with teenagers. The views were perfect and the kitchen and laundry made the stay so much easier. We walked in and out of Queenstown within 10 minutes on days we didn't want to find a park in town. The bathrooms were spacious and everything was spotlessly clean.

Excellent location about 30 mins walk or a quick drive into town. Great views of the lake.

We asked to be provided with a cot which is offered by the property at an extra cost. When we arrived late in the evening we found that the cot was broken and didn’t have a mattress. When I enquired the next morning I was informed that the blankets in the cot were the mattress. They didn’t charge us for it however we were glad we had something we could use instead with us.

Seeing it was so cold, it would have been nice to come into a warm house, as it was,it took us til the next day to work out how the heaters worked efficiently. Had issues with the washing machine. When you’re on the road for 5 weeks, a washing machine is a must!!

Location was great, easy walk into town

To get to the unit, it was up three flights of stairs and the luggage ramp was a death trap. Needs to be advertised as 20kg suitcase and someone with a bad back couldn't manage

Stunning mountain view, excellent for this price point. Enjoyed the fireplace on cool autumn evenings during our stay. Self-check in was appreciated as we were unsure of our exact arrival time. We utilised the hot tub (free) located a few apartment blocks across by booking through reception. Relatively flat 10-15min walk into Queenstown centre, and located directly outside a local bus stop.

Full kitchen available but missing the essentials for cooking (no salt, pepper, oil, tea towels) which made preparing meals during our short stay a bit tricky. Functional furniture in the living area, but not particularly comfortable or cosy.

The location was convenient and away from the crowds. The property had stunning views and was very well equiped and presented.

Exceptional in every way. Great views, roomy and modern apartment, very clean and close to town centre. When I looked at the rating I couldn’t believe that this apartment was only a 9.3 and not higher. I looked through the reviews to ascertain why. Comments were no blinds in living. There is black block out blinds providing privacy to all windows through out, great heating with reverse air conditioning plus gas fan heating and towel heating. The smart tv has the option to cast your phone apps Netflix etc and garaging for car. Lawrence was prompt with communication. He checked we arrived ok and sent details for access and details when leaving. He will ask for payment details outside of booking.com which isn’t the norm but was fine

It's a stunning property with a beautiful view! Host is lovely and responds quickly to any questions/issues.

Privacy is limited in the lounge area/kitchen, there are no blinds/curtains infront of the balcony and everything is easily visible from the outside into the apartment when the lights are on at night as the balcony has a clear glass also(would be nice to have the option of blinds to suit everyones privacy preferences). They also don't accept payment via booking.com(even though your card details are saved at the time of booking), you have to pay on the property which incorporates a extra card fee (around 6%) on top of what the booking amount is when you make the online booking.

Fantastic view and walking distance to town center full kitchen facilities like home, you have everything you need.
