Dadurch natürlich auch laute Umgebung. Bei mit gebuchtem Frühstück kein Kaffee dabei. Man soll vorab ein Online Check-in machen, muss dann vor Ort aber doch ein Formular ausfüllen.

Tolles Personal, die Unterkunft liegt zentral und das Fruehstueck war sehr gut

The staff were lovely and shared great recommendations on things to do in the area. I was welcomed with a refreshing cold drink and towel upon check-in, which was a nice touch. The hostel is conveniently located near the bus and train stations, as well as several restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was lucky to have the entire female dorm to myself for the night.

The room door cannot be locked, so I was surprised when another guest opened the female dorm door without knocking. However, the hostel has 24/7 security and is gated, which adds a level of safety.

The hostel was very new (only 5 months old) so it felt fresh and clean. The communal area was cute. I loved the history behind the hotel and that its family run. Location is ideal.

Location. Cleanliness. Elegant style without cramping, spacious rooms. The owner is an excellent storyteller and adds a lot to the experience. Very good a/c running all day in the room. Great water pressure and temperature. Great wifi and quiet lobby to work from. The free coffee and tea is a nice touch.

The rooms have no key. This is quite alarming, as not many people would feel safe leaving all their belongings unlocked. The kitchen has no fridge and no cutlery, so the plates are really just for the aesthetic.

Snooze by Sydney is in a fantastic location, easy access to bus and train station and 10 minute walk to Galle Fort. Despite being so close to the transport hubs, it was still quiet at night and I slept really well! The staff are very attentive and welcoming and they made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast available for small price and the room was very clean. The cool towel and drink on arrival was a lovely touch!

One of the best hostels I stayed in! The owner is very passionate and lovely, the place is new with all the facilities needed, everything is super clean and neat, the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The location is great, close to the central bus station, the train station, and the fort area is walking distance.

Great location for a stay in Galle. Very close to the Bus station and the Fort. Surprisingly for the central location, it was very quiet. I did not hear any noise from the streets. The rooms are super comfortable, the hostel is brand new. AC/ Fans available. Hot shower. Very clean. Convenient to have a bar and restaurant just below. There are plenty of shops just next to the hostel as well. It is worth to talk to the owner and understand the history of the building. Very impressive. Also try the Signature cocktails, that reflect local culture. And of course the cold towel and the welcome drink were amazing after having spent some hours in a hot, sweaty bus. Very nice staff.

It is a bit pricy for a hostel, however, considering the location and quality of rooms, I was okay to pay the price, as I also saved on the tuktuk to move around.

Close to Train and Bus Station, close to Galle Fort.

Can’t really fault the place. Very secure with 24/7 security. Ideal location right next to Galle fort. Rooms were clean and decent size with everything you needed. Bathroom seemed brand new. They even gave me a cold towel and a drink on arrival.

I had a wonderful stay at Snooze Station. The location next to bus station is great. Its just a short walk to fort Galle. The rooms are clean and specious. The staff was most welcoming friendly and helpful. The owner even explained me everything about the story and long history about this hostel/building. Highly recomment.

I chose this place for the location although it was extremely costly for a dorm bed. There's seperate bathroom and toilet which is a great thing when you are sharing room with 3 more people. Free coffee and another toilet in the common area.

The facilities didnt exactly live upto the mark. They were ok ok. You need to go inside a hotel and out the back to climb up to this hostel. They close it up at night so you need to use the back door at night.

My second time staying at Snooze Station at it was amazing, clean and comfortable. It was a weekend and the host Yoshan organized a beerpong game my friends and I had a great time. I would say it’s the best place in galle to be cause it’s just right behind the galle bus stop and just walking distance to the fort and the Galle cricket stadium !! One special thing that I would like to mention is that the welcome drink and the cold towel which they offer when you check in to the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Snooze Station. On arrival the staff were extremely hospitable, welcoming us with cool towels and a drink, and we enjoyed learning about the history of the hotel. It’s a fantastic location a few mins walk away from the train station and about 10 mins to the Fort (perfect if you have an early train journey). The room was very clean and comfortable and we really liked that we also had use of the communal bathrooms (all spotless with hot showers!). Would definitely stay here again!

It is close it the bus station and sometimes you can hear the honking and could be annoying, but not such a big deal.

A very nice, new hostel, super clean. The location is very good, just next to the bus and railway station and also, very close to the fort entrance, only some minutes on foot. People work there are very kind and helpful. There is also a pud downstairs of the hostel where visitors can find very tasty local food in good prices and huge portions. I would highly recommend this place

Very comfortable and convenient location. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, especially as we had booked very last minute.The room had everything we needed. It's just a short walk from the old town.

Just to note, all the plug sockets in the room were uk type, ok for me although I couldn't find a way to plug the hairdryer in!

The facility is new and very clean, the rooms are well designed, and the mattress is very comfortable The bathrooms were clean, and the shower facility was good. The staff are well trained and friendly.

Amazing place !!! Best thing is that it’s connected to the Sydney Hotel which has a rich history. Clean, comfortable and the staff is really nice !! Just in front of the galle bus stop !! Really easy to walk to galle fort only few minutes away from the galle cricket stadium as well.

The most unique thing is that they give you a wet towel and a cold drink as soon as you walk in to the hostel and the beds are comfy and clean. They have bunk beds and double rooms with attached bath rooms

The staffs are just so fantastic. I was super confused with the airport highway bus and one of the staff came all the way with me to help and check if I'm taking the right bus😭 And they always come to ask you if you need anything. The room is hotel quality, felt really safe in the hostel too. Location is great, you can easily get to the Galle fort on foot or by tuktuks. Highly recommend it!

Very friendly staff and the hotel provides a local traditional drinking and dining experience. The hotel is in the heart of Galle so it is very central to all attractions.

everything is perfect was greeted with cool towel & welcome drink! beds are comfortable! rooms are spacious showers are on point! it’s like 5mins walk to galle fort! staff is also available for you if you need any help

The location was perfect, right near the main public transport terminals in Galle. Having been away from SL for quite a few years, it was exceptionally easy to find. The food was amazing, I had been craving Sri Lankan food the whole journey down and the food at the Sydney hotel (linked to the snooze station) really hit the spot. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Assisting me in finding my way around and recommendations. I think I have found my place to stay whenever I make it to Galle!

Value for money as the location, food and cleanliness of rooms were fantastic. Rooms and toilets were fresh and clean. Beds come with a charging spot where I could charge any kind of international adapter. Management were really Friendly and helpful. Safe parking was a massive plus. I had the Sri Lankan Breakfast which was super tasty and portion sizes were great. Theres a really unique sri lankan drinks/cocktails menu. They were super refreshing.

Convenient location, we were welcomed by the team with a cold drink and a hot towel. The food was amazing and the cocktails are to die for. They have really thought about the travellers point of view, my friends and I had the best time over at snooze station.

The location was sublime, very close to the fort and the central bus stand. All the amenities were provided, everything was very clean, and all the support from the staff was very efficient. It was a very pleasant stay. The food was an amazing addition as well to the vibe of the bar connected to Snooze station. I will only be coming back here for my future stays in Galle!!

Perfect location right across the main Galle bus station. convenient access to the old fort and sites around Galle. Also a great spot to do day trips to beaches in the South. Clean, well maintained and safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great local bar at the bottom of the hostel, with a range of local food.

I was travelling to Tissamaharama and thought to take a break in Galle for one night. I found this place very close to the expressway bus stand and quite central in Galle so selected the same. Since I was travelling alone and on a budget, I thought staying in a dorm room would be the perfect cost saving option and managed to secure a bed in their Arrack Mixed dorm room. I found it perfectly safe for a female travelling alone. The staff was friendly and the place was extremely clean!! They have a small area to sit and enjoy the breakfast or a snack. Definitely would recommend to those looking for a convenient and inexpensive place to stay!

The hostel was very clean especially the washrooms and it was definitely value for money since the location was central to all the attractions I wanted to visit. The hostel included an old age arrack bar which was a great addition as I was traveling by myself. Highly recommend this place as it is convenient and provides great accommodation and hospitality for affordable prices.
