The location was excellent, and Rohan was very helpful throughout our stay. He was always available whenever we needed assistance and made our trip smoother.

* The room lacked basic amenities such as hot water, tea, and coffee facilities, which are generally expected in most hotels. * Storage facilities were limited, with a very small wardrobe, no clothes hangers, and no mirror in the room, making it inconvenient to get ready. * The air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. * The booking site mentioned an in-house restaurant with a variety of cuisines, but there was no restaurant on the property. The listing should be updated to reflect accurate information. * Payment for the balance was requested repeatedly upon arrival and during lunch, which felt a little uncomfortable and impacted the welcome experience. * The management could have been more guest-focused, especially during Eid, with a simple courtesy message or check-in on guests’ comfort. * Cleanliness could be improved, as we noticed dust inside the cupboards. * The toilet door had some issues, and the shower pressure and functionality were not ideal.

Para nada de ajusta a la realidad. La fotos deben de ser de cuando se hizo. La habitación muy cutre con muebles viejos. Un colchón sucio sin usar metido en la habitación. El baño con moho y suciedades. A parte no te dejan pagar en la moneda local, ni tienen datáfono. Quieren que pagues en dólares cuando soy española.

Un sitio perfecto para quedarse a dormir, Rohan es muy amable, servicial y atento.

The guy running the hotel (I forgot his name) is really kind and attentive. We had a welcome refresher and he took us around the island in the evening. It's a small place but really cozy. The breakfast was also on point.

Rohan was great human being,he always there when I need him . He takes us to see the sharks at night.good breakfast and the island is nice for relaxing... the beach ⛱️ just few minutes from the hotel.. small island and you can walk all around the island just couple of minutes. The beach ⛱️ nice warm and great for swimming just few steps to bikini beach . There is few restaurants around and was very helpful and good prices. Since I arrived in the island, Rohan was waiting for me and took me and my baggage to hotel and even the day to leave the island to airport he take care of my baggage from hotel to the port and already booked the seat for me a day before.

Das Bad und die teulette nicht sauber! Dusche. Habe sowas noch nie erlebt! Kein Dusch Vorhang! Alles wurde nass! WC sehr laut wenn man nach dem Geschäft. Mit Wasser wegspühlte! Sehr laut und sehr langsam. Und nicht dicht!

La ubicación teniendo en cuenta que es una isla pequeña 🤣 y el personal Rohan es de 10!!!

El lavabo tenia un olor muy fuerte a tuberias, no estaba sucio pero el olor era muy desagradable y se podia impregnar en la habitación. Las sábanas están limpias pero hay varias manchas amarillas.

Loved this guesthouse! So welcoming, comfy, and relaxed. Rohan, the host, really makes you feel at home. Hot water, good AC, good WiFi connection, near bikini beach and main road. Rohan's breakfasts was super yummy!

It has no fridge inside the room, but Rohan has one that you can use in case you need it. Everything else was ok for me.

A magnificent place and the person who runs the guesthouse, Rohan, is a wonderful person,very kind and always available for anything. He welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and even showed us around the island. Breakfast is included in the price, and the place is just a 2-minute walk from the most beautiful beach in the Maldives. For a small amount of money, I had a large, comfortable room with air conditioning and a fan. It’s very clean, and the bathroom is spacious and clean as well. Highly recommended. An unforgettable experience. Rating 10/10.

Great location, lovely staff

As everybody else said, manager Rohan makes your stay at La Isla a great experience compared to other properties. It was my privilege to have met him, he is such a good person.

Большое спасибо Рохану за его помощь во всех вопросах, которые у нас были ,он быстро организовал встречу нас на пирсе, готовил потрясающие сэндвичи с тунцом на завтрак,провёл экскурсию по острову , а также организовал наш отъезд. вся сантехника была в рабочем состоянии. И всё это благодаря такому управляющему!

Что касается самого гест-хауса, конечно он старенький, требует ремонта и реновации, но это и так отображено уже в других отзывах.

Lo que más nos gustó fue el chico del alojamiento. Se llama Rohan, sin duda nos ayudó muchísimo con todo. Incluso nos enseñó toda la isla a pesar de que había tormenta. Salió con nosotros a pasear y nos explicó todo con detalle. Nos ayudó también con todos los traslados además de hacernos unos desayunos increíbles. Muchas gracias por todo Rohan!!

Rohan is a great host! He is so friendly and kind, LIke a friend! He picked us up by tuk tuks (and also when we left) and gave us nice breakfasts (veg option available). Interesting talks. Good location and good price. Big room.

El que més m'ha agradat ha sigut l'amabilitat de Rohan, qui ens ha ajudat en tot el que hem necessitat. Vam fer una excursió d'un matí que ens va organitzar i ens va encantar! Les hanitacions són grans, estan ben il•luminades i estan molt netes. Allotjament a 4 minuts caminant de la bikini beach i molt agradable en general. L'esmorzar també està molt bé. Si torno a Guraidhoo, repetiré sense dubtar.

Rouhan Rouhan, served me well at all times and in all my needs. He made me discover the island and made me love Guraidhou, if I come back another day to Guraidhou, I will come back mainly to visit him and tell me lots of his stories. He speaks good English and can communicate in German

Очень вежливый персонал, нас встретили в порту Гурайдо и довезли до отеля. Гид живёт в отеле и постоянно на связи, все покажет и расскажет. В номере кондиционер, горячая вода есть, чайник дали, холодильник небольшой есть общий. До бикини пляжа идти минут 5. Жесть сушка для вещей. Можно воспользоваться стиральной машиной. Завтрак разнообразный. Катер также нам заказывал персонал отеля. Можно было выбрать экскурсии.

La habitación es cómoda en general, buena relación calidad precio en comparación con la zona. Pero lo que en realidad marca la diferencia y hace que todo sea mejor es Rohan, el hombre que trabaja en el hotel. No quiero que suene a tópico, háganme caso. Rohan es de las mejores personas que van a conocer en las vacaciones, sin ninguna duda. Todo lo bueno que se diga de él es poco. Su amabilidad, su simpatía, su ayuda desinteresada, su información sobre todo lo que necesites. Incluso nos llevó a los nuevos huéspedes a hacer un tour por la isla enseñándonos todos los rincones y dándonos recomendaciones y para enseñarnos el punto y la hora exacta en la que podíamos ver rayas y tiburones. Conocimos a varios turistas en la isla que se alojaban en otro hotel, y a todos los había ayudado en algún momento de una u otra manera. Cuando te encuentras con personas así, el hotel parece mejor, y la isla es aún es más bonita.

Breakfast is standard, and the house keeper is friendly, they try their best to fulfill your request. The place is strategic, few minutes walk to Bikini beach. The place is quiet, working air conditioner, but the fan is not working thats the only unfortunate, and the shower is acceptable, would be perfect if the pressure of the water can be stronger.

The downsides are the pressure of the shower water, as its a little weak but acceptable, the wifi is a bit slow but it works and acceptable, the fan is not working but I still sleep well because the air conditioner is cold enough, and if the curtain can cover the lights would be perfect, as the sun rise pretty early and if ure sensitive to lights it might wake u up.

The hotel was homely and cozy, room and lobby was clean and the beddings were very comfortable. Daily drinking water and laundry service was provided during the stay and the breakfast tasted good. Rohan, who manages the place, was just excellent, took care of everything and helped so much with anything i needed. Really excellent service and hospitality all throughout. Guraidhoo itself is a great location if you're looking for a relaxing and chill trip with good beaches.

Rohan was extremely friendly and helpful. He met us at the jetty when we arrived and helped us take the bags to the room. We got a great welcome and the room was ready very quickly. It was clean and comfortable.

I think the value is high for the quality they offer. The bathroom should be more renovated, it is quite old and the water falls very weakly from the shower.

100% will stay again. Big thanks to Rohan, who was always on point, who helped me with the luggage, offered me to change the room when the ac went broken (he offered, not i was asking, which is a good sign. BTW they fixed ac on the next day, which is also quite rapid), breakfast was always on time, good service, good level of hospitality. The rooms are also ok for the amount you pay. Location on this island doesn’t matter at all, everything is close. The only thing i would appoint, is the fact that when the guest is asking not to clean the room, usually there is a reason. I am russian, and i don’t have a bank account, which means that i have cash. So i would not expect my room to be cleaned after i asked not to do so. Obviously it’s a rare case, but just so you know. It’s still 10 of 10 as everything was good.

Rohan, the best host you can find! Attentive, and helps you with everything you need. Very quiet place and close to everything! Value for money: Excellent!

The staff was incredibly kind. The guy took us on a walk around the island and shared many fascinating facts about the Maldives. He made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The beds were also very comfortable, which was a big plus. Overall, a great experience

Our stay was an absolute delight! The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff was attentive, hard-working and did their job well. From check-in to check-out everything was smooth and well organized.

A disaster on the part of the person in charge of reception. We had problems every single day. We booked a stay with breakfast included, but we never received it on time. This was a real issue, as our excursions had strict schedules. On some days, they simply didn’t give us breakfast at all, without any explanation. They claim that toilet paper, soap, and laundry products are included, but that is a LIE. Every day, we had to ask for toilet paper, only to be told there wasn’t any. The "housekeeping every three days" promise is also a lie. After three days, we had to ask for our room to be cleaned, and the receptionist just responded, "Yeah, yeah, everyone asks for the same," but never did it. The bathrooms had a strong dirty smell, and the sheets and towels were full on of brown stains. On top of all that, this man tried to enter our room after we complained to the owner, saying, “Open the door,” while trying to force his way in. Thankfully, we had locked it. Another night, at 10 PM, he locked us out of the guesthouse. We knocked for 15 minutes, but he never opened the door. Another guest had to let us in, and even she was shocked because reception was supposed to be "24 hours." To make things worse, this man followed us three times, asking for money, saying that everyone else gave him money and that we had to do the same. Why? I still don’t understand. We reported all of these issues to the owner, but it was useless. Our stay was extremely uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place. If you're looking for a peaceful stay with the services you paid for, do not go here.

Up-to-date: there is no Rohan. Another kind guy with Little English knowledge did his best. . I Cleaned my room half way, changed my own towels, no brainier needs to be done when you stay for 10 days, although no room cleaning. Room and comfort fair , as sink hanging of wall, shower ok but weak good air con. I asked for kettle in my room which I got. Breakfast was 1 sausage, 1 egg, 3 slices of bread. But that's what you get for budget stay. No outside key given if you want tk come back late !

No one to meet me, although he knew when j was coming mssed the boat ,my bad but got the last boat after paying a local taxi driver 20 US dollars (twice the amount), to take me to Male he volunteered to keep my backpack and see me get off ok on boat..he called owner to jet him know I was arriving on the late boat. NO ONE on island to meet me I didn't know where la isha Tropica was ! I also found out the local told the owner I haven't paid anything ! No communication to guide me or to ask if I arrived ok ? Good job I got my wits around me travelling all around the world SOLO! It served a purpose I I enjoyed my holiday island hopping , as I am used to it , getting around beach was lovely. although the guy didn't know times of boats ! I booked my place on the boat on the way back to Male !

The only thing positive about the place is Rohan. He is a great person and you can feel it. If he wasn't there I'd be super upset about the place but thanks to him I kinda managed with all the negativity. He trying to help always and he even showed me around in the island.

The worst thing is the internet. Literally there's no internet. The speed is not even 1 Mps. When I even told to the owner she was kinda not responsive. She didn't care at all that I couldn't work over there. The room was terrible. Too many tiles in the room was damaged by the water I guess and it was broken. Shower was terrible as well. Well ok it's a cheap option but the facility shouldn't be bad that much.

We booked the deluxe room which turned out to be a very basic room but with AC, but what made the stay go from okay to AMAZING is the host: Rohan, his sense of service, availability and kindness turned the trip into a 5* journey. From guiding us through the village, to helping to make laundry, being always present and even making a small presentation for my girlfriend's birthday. I mean, couldn't ask for more. So yes, room is basic but I mean in the Maldives you're barely inside and again, Rohan is such a great addition that I can only be positively surprised.

Not much pressure nor hot water in the shower.

Staying at this Maldives paradise was incredible, but Rohan made it truly unforgettable. His genuine hospitality and dedication to making every guest feel special set this place apart. Rohan’s warmth was so genuine that by the end of my stay, I felt I had gained a friend! Keep up the great work!

Staying in La Isla Tropica was the best experience. Rohan was a really great person who booked all our excursions and gave us a detailed tour of the island. He also booked all the transport jettys for us. The room was clean and shower had an instant geyser. The breakfast was nice. The manager gave us a discount on our stay because of one of my friend who could not come.

Breakfast was good. The girl in the restaurant was really nice - the best one of all the staff I met in this hotel. The location is OK, since the island is so small nothing is far away from anything. The bed was really comfortable.

The absence of staff in the hotel. I couldn't find anyone as I arrived to check in and had to look and ask around for quite a while. Power failure for quite a while. A hazzle to pay with credit card. Cockroaches in the hotel.

Location and staff helpfulness.

Unnecesary poking by one of the staff, nobody there to receive at ferry terminal in Guraidhoo inapite of previous communication. The staff not informing the restaurant properly about vegetarian preference. No soap or shampoo the first day inspite of being listed.

The location was very good. And the staff Mr.Rohan was so helpful and friendly. He made our stay well spent and guided us well. I recommend this hotel to all.

The hotel is in the middle of a mostly Muslim neighborhood and overall people were not friendly and did not respond to our greetings. The tourist gift shops were ridiculously overpriced as compared to other islands. Food options were very limited. This island was described as budget friendly and able to provide a local experience. Sadly the local experience was not a good experience.

I had a great time, the room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. AC was working well. The staff was very helpful, making sure all your needs were covered! The island itself is also very nice, it's a local island with real people and it's very peaceful.

The property location and having air conditioning in the room made a big difference as it was very hot outside. However, the highlight of my stay was Rochan’s excellent and caring customer service. He was super helpful and welcoming. Rochan is a very knowledgeable host that went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything that I needed.

Rohan, he did beyond anyone would expect. He took care of all our needs and assisted us at every point possible. We once asked for dinner, he took us to a local place where we could buy fish. We just paid for the fish and the rest of the BBQ was arranged by him. He gave us a tour of the whole island. Ilham and his wife were really responsive to all our queries and also directed us to the right ferry to the island. The property is located in the centre of the island. Since the island is just 1km square, you would just need 5 mins walk each way to get to the beach. There are some small markets 10 steps away from the property. Summary: the staff is really nice and especially Rohan, you will have a great time in the property.

Rohan, was an amazing host. This is a small operation and he handled everything from greeting, reception, cleaning,showing the island. He definitely would be the reason why I would give an extra point to my review. Based on the price paid it was great value and one should not expect perfection in accommodation.

The Stay was good but expected little more...however the staff of the hotel Name Rohan was absolutely great, he was so helpful...and about the breakfast & dinner- food was good, tasty and good quantity.

I wish they had more option for food to choose by guest instead of whatever they prefer to serve.

Rohan who runs the accommodation made our holiday he was amazing from the moment he picked us up from the jetty to when we left. He went far and beyond and organized all of our excursions and we had a truly amazing time because of him. The accommodation is clean and basic but we didn't want anything fancy because we wanted to experience a local island and not a resort.

Absolute best part about this hotel is Rohan! If he was not here I would have given 3 stars. He had flowers on the bed when we arrived, brought some shells for my daughter as he noticed she was collecting them, picked us up and returned us a few days later on the ferry, and home cooks every breakfast! Rohan is the best. The room is simple but fine. We are a family of 4 and so there are three twin beds in the room. The shower has hot water and is clean. Rohan regularly cleaned the garbage and honestly would do anything we asked and made many great suggestions to help us enjoy the island. Update. Days after our stay Rohan checked in with us! He wished us a happy new year and made sure we were safe as we left in a storm.

Everything. Especially Rohan. His Hospitality, personality, knowledge, cooking skills, flower decoration and help with booking unforgettable trips ment everything for us. The bed was comfy, the guesthouse was quiet, which such lazy tourists like us, who needed a lot of napping through the day, really appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay Rohan.

We took Halfboard option but the portions of food was very little and it was cheaper to get the room as Bed and Breakfast and get the dinner somewhere out of the hotel, the room and the hotel itself is very basic, the hotel overall is expensive in terms of food and level of accommodation it is providing

As soon as we got off the boat, we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Our host Rohan was waiting for us with a big smile and ready to take us to our new home for the next few days. He kindly gave us a ride with our things. He then welcomed us with some refreshing cold towels and tasty juice. He really tried his best to make us feel at home. After we checked in, Rohan showed us around the island, which was great and gave us great tips about everything we needed to know. We felt so lucky to come across a lovely host especially after our other stays on other islands, this was definitely the best out of them all and we already know we will come back and stay for longer! The beach, shops and local restaurants are close, so the location is great. Rohan made breakfast every morning and was always very creative with what he served us (with such big portions!). We had beach towels in our room, also bottled water and of course air-conditioning. It's not a 5-star hotel, but the service is definitely right up there. The hotel is nice and clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. It's totally worth the money. If you haven't decided where to stay yet, then book this place, I highly recommend it!

The only positive thing out of all this is the hardworking man called Rohan who did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible but with limited resources around him.

The owner could do with refurbishment of the rooms and place. The least put a.Tv in the rooms..also the location pictures on booking com paint a different picture on ground..

Very quiet area, tasty breakfasts/dinners, comfortable room and friendliest staff. 💯 Rohan helped me throughout my stay on the island. He showed me around the island, showed me the food shops, helped arrange excursions and was a very pleasant conversationalist. At the end of my stay helped bring my bags in a special vehicle to the port with boats. Thank you Rohan and Denise, I felt great while staying at La Isla Tropica.

We arrived very late to Male. Due to Ramadan, our pre-booked speedboat was cancelled, so I asked Ilham to help us with arranging speedboat transfer. He did his best plus he was waiting for us at the airport and guided us to Guraidho island. From La Isla Tropica they arranged a mini van for our luggages. Rohan is a very kind person, I have never expected such hospitality and support. He help us in everything: getting medicine to the hurt shoulder, offering great suncream, preparing takeaway breakfast and organizing boat trip. Whatever we needed: he was always there to help. I cannot thank him enough for his great personality. We all like the breakfast and dinner, which were tasty and more than enough :) I would defienetly like to return, we had gorgeous 6days in La Isla Tropica and in Guraidhoo.

La Isla Tropica was definitely a great option in Guraidhoo. The host was very kind all the time, receiving us as we came out of the ferry to take us to the restaurant on the beach and welcoming us with a drink and refreshing towels. The room was very spacious and clean, and beds were comfy. Yummy breakfast as well (and he prepared packed breakfast for our departure day). All in all, a wonderful choice!

We'd have preferred a double bed, for better comfort, but not a big deal (bed was good) :)
