Reviewed Sep 20, 2026Lovely hotel with lovely staff. The internet in our room was very weak and useless to us which was unfortunate. Also, there were no face cloths, but that seems to be the standard in Ireland.
The internet was lousy, and it was a bit noisy since it was on one of the main streets.

Expensive. Having to pay for breakfast on top of 219 euro a night is excessive, makes it nearer 300 euros with breakfast for one night.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Good location with parking around the corner. Incredible management. We had a slight issue, and management went above and beyond to make it right. All the staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
Between the street sounds and the live music, it was a bit noisy. However, the hotel communicated this quite well in advance. Earplugs help, so don't let that dissuade you from staying in a nice place. Just be aware.

There was not refrigerator in the room. As elevator is not in the hotel, perhaps it can be a problem for older guests.

There was no elevator or AC and the room we had was barely large enough to walk around the bed. The car park was a block away. But the primary problem was the incredible street noise which went on basically all night long on Saturday night. We were even given ear plugs when we checked in !

All of the above and when I say the walls are paper thin, I mean I could hear conversations, people fornicating. Horrendous.

The cleanliness could be improved. When I first entered the room, I found some hair on the bed. The room was also very cramped. I stayed on the third floor and there was no lift, which was inconvenient with luggage. The soundproofing was very poor as well, and I was woken up in the morning by the noise of a vacuum cleaner.

The room was gorgeous with a lovely walk in shower and its location was excellent and the fact you got free parking for the duration was an added bonus! The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Very Noisy! Woken up multiple times in the night by street noise and it wasn’t partiers or people leaving the bars. Lots of machinery noise, bird noise. Penetrated my earplugs and could not close the windows because it was too hot.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Beautiful hotel with an eye-catching façade adorned with flowers. It is located in the centre of the town, almost in front of St. Peter's Church and close to the bus station too. Quite convenient to visit local popular spots like Newgrange. The room was small but had everything necessary and the bed was very comfortable.
I was not bothered by any noise as other reviews point out, but in the early morning seagulls were quite loud because River Boyne is running nearby. The water pressure was rather low and the toilet was slow to flush, the tap and the shower were also unstable and the water suddenly gushed out or stopped. The body soap dispenser was almost empty.

Es ist völlig unverständlich, dass man nicht einmal gegen Aufpreis einen Espresso zum Frühstück bekommen kann. Das Hotel hat sicher sehr gute Zimmer, mein Zimmer um €128 war etwa doppelt so groß, wie das französische Bett, vor dem Fenster war die Feuertreppe, nichts für Menschen mit Klaustrophobie ;-].
