He estado varias veces y se está genial La casa es preciosa y todo muy bien Ubicación, limpieza, atención, todo perfecto!!

A casa é muito boa, quarto excelente com dois ambientes grandes, duas camas grandes (éramos dois adultos e duas crianças). Com piscina (não utilizada por não ser época e pelo pouco tempo disponível). Localização muito boa, a 15 minutos do aeroporto e do centro (Mandela Square), que fizemos com um carro alugado.

Não tive a oportunidade de tomar café em função do horário do vôo mas usei a cozinha para fazer uma janta para minha filha. Único quesito que pode ser melhorado, pois como a cozinha é coletiva, haviam muitas louças e talheres na pia para lavar e nenhum talher disponível lavado. Tive de lavar alguns para usar. Problema este causado também pelo próprios hóspedes que poderiam lavar as louças e talheres por eles utilizados. Haviam pratos, talheres e louças sujos na mesa de jantar utilizados por hóspedes que jantaram e simplesmente deixaram tudo ali na mesa. Lamentável. Att.

Gina and Stacy went out of their way to make sure we all had a fabulous stay! It was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect for the Springbok rugby game at Ellis park, and the decor was immaculate! Breakfast was all fresh and the house was so fun to explore!

I received a surprise upgrade to their sister property, The Great Gatsby, (with apologies for the inconvenience), as the original room I booked at The Whitehouse required maintenance. The owner of both properties, Gina, is an outstanding host who went the extra mile to make me feel welcome. It was my birthday and well worth spending it there! The extra touches such as the gown, a glass of wine, coffee, chocolate & homemade cake were five star. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

No complaints from my side.I already knew the property and was excited about the upgrade. I chose a unit right at the top; climbing up the stairs was well worth the view! Be prepared to be flexible.

Exceptional stay! Incredibly gorgeous property underpinned by the kindest staff! Shawn & Stacey really went above and beyond to make our stay nothing short of luxurious! The owner, Gina also got in touch to make sure we were comfortable. Plenty of cosy nooks and crannies to read a book over tea or coffee with blankets provided, along with lush gardens and very quiet grounds in a safe suburb. Attention to detail is top-notch! You'll have access to the kitchen equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. Loved the electric blanket!! Overall, unbeatable bang for your buck. Can't wait to be back! 🥰

The fact that they had to change the bedsheet after my arrival as they were clearly used. But it's to be expected, given that it was a last minute booking and the cost of the room. Some of the bathroom windows don't close properly/at all.

Cleanliness, clean facilities and a smooth check in I appreciated how clean and well kept everything was. The facilities were comfortable, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay

During the night, a moth entered the room and was difficult to remove, which disrupted my sleep. This may have been outside the property’s control, but it was the only minor inconvenience during an otherwise comfortable stay

The day of our arrival, I was told that the White House was having issues with power and was offered a transfer to their sister property, the Gatsby. My flight was delayed and was going to land incredibly late. I contacted Gina to find out if the rest of my party could check in, and she was super helpful, even staying up until I eventually got to the property, which was after 11 pm. Unfortunately, minutes before I arrived, someone had driven into the power box, and their generator was giving issues. Gina was so fantastic, such a superhero, she still made the stay wonderful and comfortable that we were genuinely sad to leave. She did not just make us feel like guests but rather old friends who were simply catching up. The place is filled with character, and it feels like you're walking through someone's life story. I would recommend this place over a hotel.

The only issue was the power outage. But we were able to charge our devices once the generator was up and running. We were still able to have hot water for showers.

The location was excellent for my business; it was easy to connect to my business engagements. The transport arrangement with one of the team members - Andrew, was excellent and the availability of Uber and Bolt was on point-less 5minuts wait. The staff were very warm and engaging and very resourceful for information

Beautiful and very clean. Staff friendly upon my arrival and accomodating as my flight was delayed and I only arrived to check in just before 11pm.

No front desk, had to keep calling or sending messages when I needed assistance.

Trop de bruits( tournage d‘une émission télé-réalité)! Pour un séjour de 4 jours, durant 3 jours et nuits, trop de bruits. La chambre était si froide. Pas de chauffage ! Il faillait commander une couverture avec chauffage. La régie s‘est excusée et a aussi promis de compenser les désagréments avec une bouteille de vin. Et c’était une promesse vide. Pas de bouteille ! Que c’est dommage !

The room was spacious and beautiful. The quietness of the area was a bonus. The location was perfect for the purpose of the trip. I had a medical procedure the following day, and I was able to rest and prepare myself. It felt like home away from home. I loved it.

I loved everything about the property. I have no complains at all.

Both The White House and The Great Gatsby were amazing value for money. * Both venues and the rooms were very comfortable and very well serviced. * Everything that one would need was provided. * The locations were close to key shopping centres. Overall, both guesthouses were wonderful places to stay. I will certainly visit again in the future, and I strongly recommend it to anyone seeking a stay in Johannesburg, or even for a wedding or photo shoot at the Great Gatsby.

Lovely property and very central for where we needed to go to work. The winter is fantastic and great staff working at The White House. Lovely beds and comfortable. We will be back soon again. 👍

The stay was perfect nice location and the views were exceptional.

What I did not like was the fact that there was no rubbish bins in the room for trash disposal and the fact we had to message someone to open the gate was a bit unpleasing

Property listed as Bedfordview when it is actually Observatory Previous tenant smoked in the room so the room and particularly the linen smelt of smoke. In stead of replacing the linen house keeping opened all windows hoping the smell would dissipate. All this did was equalize the interior room temperature with the outside very cold winters day temp. The little heater supplied would have gone a long way to removing the chill from the air except it required a 2 point adapter to run in the 3 point electrical point. None where available and house keeping could not be found to supply one. There were no complimentary teas and coffee available and no staff were available to assist with this. I ended up going into the kitchen and making my own coffee. With no staff on site breakfast could not be served. I let the premises at 09:00 and by that time no staff had arrived at work yet. I just left the room key in a bowl by the front door hoping I was doing the right thing.

The property has a vintage and modern interior that screams quiet luxury. Every detail in the furnishing and decor was stellar. Stacy was extremely patient and very accommodating with my last minute booking. I really enjoyed the hospitality.

I had a very pleasant stay at this guesthouse. The place was clean, neat, and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always accommodating to any needs or questions I had. It's located in a good area, which felt safe and convenient for getting around. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-kept place to stay.

The staff were excellent. Friendly and nothing was too much. Breakfast cooked fresh every time with good quality ingredients. Lovely coffee and a good selection of teas. We were offered an upgrade to a very spacious room. The internet was good and the television was also good offering netflix. We would definitely go again. Lovely big shower room. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The gardens were lovely with plenty of seating. The swimming pool was also excellent.

I cannot find fault with anything.

The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. I even had a bathroom with a bidet. The place is safe and the parking is ample. Excellent value for money.
