Wir wurden sehr nett willkommen geheißen. Zum Frühstück gab es eine gute Auswahl und alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Wegen des schlechten Wetters konnten wir unsere Sachen vor Ort deponieren und nach einer kleinen Shoppingrunde einpacken. Vielen Dank

Tolle Lage in Glengariff als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Beara Halbinsel. Einfache aber äußerst komfortable Unterkunft mit extrem herzlichen und gastfreundlichen Besitzer. Das Frühstück im Wintergarten mit Blick in die Natur war einfach super! Vielen Dank nochmal für eure tolle Gastfreundschaft.

So grateful for such wonderful hosts. I felt thoroughly looked after and refreshed. Breakfast was especially amazing, but just super and homely people. Thank you dearly.

While the room was basic, it was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great out on the balcony - choices of fruit, muesli, porridge, toast, eggs, coffee and juice. Location was also great, close to town’s bars, restaurants and grocery shop. The host was amazing and very welcoming. Great value for money

Nothing I didn’t like

Great location - beside a beautiful wee lough. Short walking distance to the village Main Street. Breakfast is made for you enjoying it in the kitchen, options of muesli, porridge eggs etc. I had the single room and the bed was very comfy. Sharing the bathroom is no bother at all. WC and shower are separate. It’s not the most modern place, but that is its charm. it’s really good value and I would definitely come back. Host is just lovely. It’s really like a home.

This place is perfect. It's close to the main stretch of pubs and restaurants. There's a deck overlooking a river. Jovanka was really nice--right when I got there she offered me tea and we sat around the dining table and had a great chat about life and about Glengarriff. I will certainly be back to Glengarriff and I hope to stay at the Black Sheep again.

The house is in amazing place. We saw an incredible view while we got there. The host was very welcoming. Breakfast tasted good.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel ! Des hôtes et hôtesses aux petits soins, avec un vrai sens de l'accueil, qui fait chaud au cœur ! Le petit dejeuner était superbe et nous avons même pu faire un plouf dans la rivière. Merci encore, si nous repassons dans le coin nous reviendrons avec plaisir 😉

Scenic view from the house - it's located by the river Glengarriff and the forest. A really homely place, our hosts were friendly, helpful and thoughtful. The best B&B experience. The house is 1 minute walk from the centre of the little village. A place to return, for sure!

We cannot thank our lovely hosts enough for taking such good care of us. We arrived frozen to the bone and were served tea and biscuits. They also charged all our devices as we hadn't bought the right plug. Breakfast was plenty and made with love by Ivanka. ❤️

All was great. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Amazing value for money.

Everything. The room and the bathroom were clean, we could have a second pillow. The house was clean and tidy. The breakfast has large choices. It was really good! A really nice moment.

We went to the wrong ''The Black Sheep'' at Killarney. But the owner was very understanding.

Alec and Ivanka were wonderful hosts. They were very friendly and great to have a chat to. This was our favourite stay while on our road trip. Make sure to give the kyaks a go.

Jovanka, die Gastgeberin, hat mich herzlich empfangen und mir alles gezeigt. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und Zuhause. Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet und alles wirkt sehr gemütlich. Am Morgen hat Jovanka uns ein Frühstück nach Wahl frisch zubereitet (Porridge, Toast, Eier, frischer Honig - was und wieviel man will).

Ottima posizione, ottima accoglienza e buonissima colazione preparata espressa. La struttura non sembra recentissima, ma è curata e pulita. I proprietari gentili e simpatici. Assolutamente consigliato.

The setting is amazing, right by the river. The bed was sooooo comfortable, I slept well every night. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, I felt like I was staying with family. Oh and the breakfast was delicious!!!

Lovely location just next to the river on the outskirts of Glengariff. Jovanka is a great host, welcoming and helpful, and a great cook! The breakfast is amazing and we were really thankful for the elevator platform on the terrace that helped moving our luggage.

There’s so many things to stay about this lovely getaway in Glengarrif. Jovanka is absolutely fantastic. It felt like being home with your mom . The room was super comfortable, the breakfast in the morning was amazing and nourishing and our chats were so lovely.

Everything was perfect honestly. You are staying in the home with the owners and so you have be to be respectful of their space and all but to me that’s a given anywhere. They let you come and go at any time so there’s really nothing negative to say at all.

Jovanka was very welcoming and offered me a cup of tea on arrival. The location by the river is beautiful although I didn't get the weather to sit outdoors. It is also well placed for the local bars and restaurants, just a stroll from the main centre.

The rooms not being ensuite, but I was aware of that before booking. As I was the only person staying that wasn't an issue. I would have preferred to have a kettle etc in my room. The door to the room had frosted glass but allowed light to shine in from the hall/kitchen.

Everything about this BnB is worth a big like! Jovanka is welcoming, practical,helpful and warm! The rooms and facilities are superbly clean and you are made to feel at home! All requests are met and it was just a lovely stay. Especially safe for female solo travellers! Such a pretty and convenient location. Glengarriff is a lovely, friendly village!

Honestly, there was nothing not to like !

Das niedliche Besitzerpärchen ist absolut freundlich und aufgeschlossen, vor allem aber sehr vertrauensvoll gegenüber den Gästen. Man übernachtet dort mitten im Wohnbereich der Gastgeber, nicht vergleichbar mit der Anonymität in einem Hotel.

The welcome we recieved on our arrival was second to none, the host was waiting too welcome us personally. The view was so beautiful. The breakfast had everything healthy in it. The room we stayed at was so comfortable.

We personally found no negatives. Everything was perfect.

Le lieu extraordinaire, l'accueil tellement agréable des hôtes. On s'y sent immédiatement bien et apaisé. À 3 min à pied du centre pour se promener dans le village et la baignade aménagée dans la baie et passer une bonne soirée à écouter de la musique dans un pub. A recommander !
