Just to note we had a room facing the street so some traffic noise bring ear plugs or request room to the rear

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Staff was friendly and check-in efficient. The room was large and the bathroom was nicely renovated. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent with good and friendly service. it was nice not to have to leave the premises for dinner in rainy weather.
Our room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. To be fair, I did not complain, and I imagine the hotel would have changed our room if we had asked. The woman at the front desk apologized profusely when I told her. The room was cleaned as much as possible. However, the carpeting was old and it's time to replace it (preferably with hard flooring for cleanliness).

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Loved the location. Fabulous. Check in with Donal very quick and pleasant. Room was lovely. It’s an older hotel but feel the website doesn’t do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised. Dinner on both nights was lovely though the seat we got (unnecessarily on 2nd night was not ideal ). Barman told girl to move us which was a bit embarrassing and then 15 minutes later allowed someone else sit there.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Great location with many bars and restaurants along the main street of this village. Hotek staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were very good. We had one evening meal at the restaurant and it was very enjoyable.
Our room was roadside so quite a bit of traffic noise. Thankfully the road wasn’t that busy during our stay.

Cet hôtel est impeccablement tenu et on ressent l'esprit familial et chaleureux. La cuisine du restaurant est savoureuse. Je recommande ce lieu pour y passer plusieurs jours, voire 1 semaine.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026We had a meal in the bar - what a disappointment. As a good home-cook, I would not have presented what we ate. The Duck had a good flavour, but no crispy skin as the menu described as the fat had not been rendered. One part had about 1cm of fat between the skin and the meal. The Tempura prawns should have had a sweet chilli dipping sauce but was served with some kind of mayonnaise, and the vegetable pasta eith pesto was just bizarre. At €100 including drinks it was shocking and a really poor example of Irish cuisine.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Had a fantastic stay at Casey’s Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the beautiful village of Glengarriff, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very well presented, and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend the salmon with poached eggs, it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting West Cork.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Ontbijt was prima. Locatie ligt erg gunstig. Zeker om het eiland Garnisch te bezoeken. Verder ligt het erg centraal om van hieruit met de auto naar andere locaties te gaan en een natuurpark is erg dichtbij.
De kamers waren erg warm. Temperatuur was ook bovengemiddeld voor Ierland toen wij er waren. Rond 25 graden.
