Good location, good price. Easy access for concert at 02.
The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable like sooo comfortable LOL.
Could do with a thorough clean, but I won’t knock the property for this it was as till good for value, just few things that I noticed.
Friendly staff and great location for the O2 . Good communication.
Very spacious room, super clean. The beds/bedding were super comfy and nice to sleep in. Beautiful decor also!
There was some noise here and there from cars passing etc, but I think that's unavoidable when you're near roads. Other than that it was great!
NIENTE. Siamo dovuti andare via per la scarsa pulizia e siamo in attesa di rimborso.
NIENTE. Non è una struttura idonea a far soggiornare una persona. È il retro di un pub.
Easy access
The utensils don’t look clean
Great location for the o2 … a 5 minute uber drive away or 30 minute walk. The staff were really friendly and super helpful. The room was clean and quirky, with plenty of tea/coffee facilities.
Nothing. It was lovely.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here mainly for the location as we were attending a concert in the O2 and its an ideal location. This was the only thing we liked this time around unfortunately
We were really disappointed with this stay, our third time and this stay however really let us down. Upon checking in the staff behind the bar wasn't very welcoming, showed us to our room and left. On the previous visits we were made to feel welcomed and was asked about our stay and what plans we had. Once in the room we looked over the menu and we decided to try out the pub food as we got discount and was tired from travelling all day. I wish we hadn't, again staff behind the bar (different staff member this time) didnt seem to know what to do, we asked if we could get food and he seemed confused then said yes we could, the menu at the bar looked different to the one in the room, I queried this and he said the one in the room is really out of date (Maybe this should be updated when the menu in the pub updates? just a suggestion). We ordered our food & drinks we sat down, our wine glasses had water stains all over, we then got told they had no sweet potato chips and would swap them out for normal chips and chicken tenders (we had no issues with that). The food arrived and looked good, however the pizza had no hot honey on, and after finishing I noticed part of a plastic bag/glove in the chip bowls... at this point I was so tired. After we finished we asked the same staff member if we could the iron/ironing board, sugar and wifi, we only obtained the wifi and even then he wasnt sure if that was correct. Now for the room, we have stayed in the same room every time we have stayed (superior room), it usually has been pretty decent, but this time it was so dusty, the TV didnt work would only let you use Youtube. Skip to the morning, I went to make tea & coffee, turns out the oat milk and milk were out of date....
La vicina al the 02
La finestra bloccata con la cruccia e il bagno che si allaga
It was very cozy, clean and the staff was very friendly and understanding! We will definitely come again!
Everything was perfect.
Great location and decent room
Close to the 02
Needed a bit of a clean, food at the pub wasn’t the best
Mostly clean overall, decent facilities, comfortable bed, there was a fan and curtains had been kept closed to keep the room cool, convenient location
Some dust, shower needed deep cleaning, some small holes in the wall, luggage rack was partly broken, room was very warm despite the fan
Check in wasn’t until 3pm which is fine, however the actually accommodation didn’t open till 3pm meaning we couldn’t drop our bags off anywhere and we were not made aware of this. We couldn’t get in contact with the property either.
Really close to the O2 arena
The gate did not properly open with the code. I could not get in one morning and I called the hotel and they did not enter. I was not going to wait around until they called me back so I literally had to climb on the plant next to the door and climb the fence to get in… They called me back 1,5 hours later. I have not seen a single employee ever.
sporco
Ah, it has OK location although quite a walk from the Greenwich station. But generally OK. The room is somewhat spacious, with a nice table, kettle and teas/ cookies. The rest is just terrible.
It’s located in the pub so it’s super noisy. There is no reception. The bartenders also the cleaners as it seems, but I doubt the room was cleaned at all. There was an old used tissue on the floor. The toilet paper had brown stains and the towel had a clear „dirty hand“ mark. There was dust and hairs laying on the floor. This room was however very expensive, so I made it clear that such service is not acceptable for that price and was promised by the hotel and the booking team a reimbursement. At the end, they have not reached an agreement, which I interpret as cheating/ fraud. Hence, I do not recommend staying at this place and I do not recommend using booking.
Friendly staff. Large room, nice shower.
The beer!, trendy fruity stuff. I suppose that I think every London pub, has London Pride on draught or Another traditional bitter. I am adaptable l drank Guinness! Rant over.
Great location for visiting the Old Naval College in Greenwich for an event. Really easy to get to from Kings Cross. Good value for money.
I really enjoyed my stay and thought it was excellent value for money. The location was great, and I loved the room decor and the size of the room. The bed was really comfortable and the crisp sheets were a lovely touch. I also appreciated the good selection of tea and coffee, the fan in the room, and the shower and bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the waitress who kindly brought the food I ordered from the restaurant up to my room - that was amazing and really appreciated!
The only downside for me was the noise from the main road. I’m not used to staying somewhere with quite so much road noise, so I was woken up a few times during the night. Unfortunately, it was too warm to keep the window closed. This is obviously very individual and may not bother other guests. One small thing that could be improved is the bottom of the shower, particularly the corners, which looked like they could do with a good scrub as there was some pink build-up. Overall, though, I had a lovely stay and felt it was very good value for money. Thank you to all the friendly staff!
Good location
Can’t think of anything
Comfy bed, great toiletries and towels, clean.
Dark room, tv didn’t work except apps, bedside light didn’t seem to work, shower temp control not easy.
Great location for the O2 arena. About 5 mins by bus, with bus stops very close by and frequent buses. All the doors were fire doors and we felt safe and secure in our room. There was a very good fan to keep the room cool enough. The bed was comfortable and, when we got to sleep, we both slept well. The linen and room was clean. The staff were polite and helpful. We both had excellent pizzas in the pub. The hotel met our needs and we would probably go there again if the occasion arose.
We paid £91 for one night and, although this was much cheaper than well known hotel chains nearer to the O2, the hotel facilities did not warrant the price and it was taking advantage of its proximity to the O2. The room had a small lobby where there was only one large hook and two hangers. The luggage rack was broken. The bedroom needed a decoration upgrade. The window looked out onto a glass roof where previous guests’ discarded rubbish could be seen. Small areas of black mould could be seen on the grouting in the shower and the shower door leaked. There was loud music, which we assume came from the pub that prevented us from sleeping until just after midnight when it stopped.
Lovely room nicely decorated private very cute. Easy access when pub not open. Appreciate the room having a fan snd curtains drawn before we arrived to keep it cool and bottles of water.
The room could have been a bit cleaner and also Theres was no tea bags and hardly any milk. When we woke the pub wasn’t open so couldn’t ask anyone.
They provided an excellent fan which was much needed. It was very quiet so we slept well
Staff were not very welcoming. No information was provided about what to do with the key when we left etc. bottles of shower gel, soap etc were almost empty. The room was painted a dark green which made it look small and dingey. Window frames were rotting. Could not shut bathroom window which led to privacy issues. Frosted window but no blind and window would not close
This property did not look the best as we arrived to go up to the room around the back of the pub and up the stairs but once inside the room was clean and tidy
Scruffy to the point of entering the room coming through the back gate and up the stairs. Window sills totally rotten could do with a little tlc
No breakfast but that was ok, we were not hungry. Staff very hospitable, helpful and polite. Good location for the 02 where were visiting.. Not a perfect room, a little tired, a little dark and a little too hot in our current weather but the location, staff and the experience of a London Pub made up for the shortfalls. Thanks to you all.
Lovely big room ..close to the O2
No breakfast..but it was fine as there's a wetherspoons nearby 😃
Fajna okolica, czysta pościel i ręczniki
Kurz, brak lodówki, zakurzony wentylator, który w ogóle nie pomagał
Simple accommodation, clean bedding and bathroom. Decent value for money.
The top floor rooms were unbearable in the heatwave,l and not equipped. We booked two nights but had to leave a day early.
The room was a decent size and had a comfortable bed. The pub is also really nice and the staff were friendly. There was access to a shared fridge outside of the room.
There was noise from the garden outside the pub until 2am but that could have been because of the World Cup and the later licensing.
Location was handy for busses to the O2
The property in general needed Cleaning, everything about it was just grubby and felt like it needed a scrub particularly the carpets in the bedrooms and the bathroom. The only bit that was spotlessly clean was the bed linen. No hand towels in the bathroom only one bath sheet each. No working television. No fridge in the bedroom Lighting was very strange, half of them barely worked. On a main road, so very noisy as we were in the front bedroom, obviously above a pub you expect some noise and that was fine. The room was in direct light for most of the day. We had one 10 inch fan to try and move air around so it was like an oven. It was up a flight of metal fire exit stairs that were quite difficult to negotiate at night. Staff were a bit noncommittal and no one was available for us to discuss any of these issues with when we checked out because the pub wasn’t open. We waited till 11.15am and then just decided to leave the keys in the room. Definitely wouldn’t visit again
The location was great. Tesco express and coop nearby. A very nice Italian Deli 2 doors up with fresh meats/cheeses, suppli, cannoli, made to order sandwiches and fresh coffee. Bus stop 30 second walk. Excellent for the o2 and general Greenwich area. Walking distance to the Queens house, Naval museum Cutty sark etc. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. You get 10% discount in the bar when staying over.
The heat, obviously, they dont control the weather. A fan was supplied, but it was very dirty, which is a health concern, especially in such a small space. The main light looked aesthetic but gave very little light. I emailed the day before with a question as advised, and it went un answered. I was asking if I could drop bags off as I was arriving at 11 am and check in wasnt until 3. I ended up using 'Radical storage' and leaving my bag at a laundrette up the street, which worked out fine.
Location is good for O2 and other sights. Reasonable price for location.
The outside temperature was 30 degrees and the room was at least 35 degrees all night. We had to keep window open to attempt to get any air which meant neighbours could see in. Since the UK is seeing an increase in hotter weather they will need to look into managing this. There was a layer of dust everywhere, from lamp to skirting boards, coffee caddy and tea jar. There is also noone on site overnight.
Nimic
Foarte mizerabil, mirosea a mucegai, cazare nesigura, așternuturi patate, pete pe colacul de la baie si foarte multe probleme. Am cerut refund si nu mi s-a oferit.... Batjocoritor...
The room was just dirty they hadn't cleaned, dusted or even hoovered the carpet. The tea caddy was covered in dust, not just a little dust but thick! The bathroom and bed was the only clean thing in the room.
Overall this was a good location, easy to access via bus which was a close ride to the nearest tube station. We booked it specifically for its location to Silverworks Island but this would work very well for visiting the O2 as well which is even nearer. Greenwich is generally a nice location to be in and you're on a main road with shops etc. nearby for convenience. There is rear door access to the rooms open 24/7 so once you are checked in and have a key you don't need the pub to be open to get in. They offer a 10% discount in the pub if you're staying, and all the staff we encountered on the day were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the room wasn't very spacious (which in itself is not a problem) but it was swelteringly hot. There was a fan provided but it was still very difficult to sleep. We kept the window open to try and help but this meant we could hear noise from the pub downstairs when trying to sleep. The bathroom was fairly clean and the bedroom was fine but I wouldn't describe it as immaculate and could have been a lot better. I had also tried to contact the pub several times ahead of our stay, including the day before as instructed, to ask about early check in which we needed. Each time we got a canned response about requesting early check in the day before. I never got a response after asking the day before for a 3rd time so we had to just turn up at the pub when it opened at 12 and ask them. They were helpful at this stage, and were able to take our bags and let us check in later on after we returned from our event, but overall that wasn't the best experience as the lack of communication meant we were unsure what was going to happen until we got there on the day. Considering I was willing to pay the early check in fee they missed out on this. If you're looking for a very casual and convenient place to stay on more of a budget then this room will do the job but I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable, clean, or easy night's stay we've booked in London and won't be staying here again.
Old pub rooms that are without mod cons but worth It if you need somewhere nearby.
It was very hot when I stayed, which isn’t the pubs fault! But the fan was not really enough to do anything for the temperatures. The rooms window was closed when I arrived so it was stifling in there, and faced the road with a creaking broken pub sign right outside the window. The chain was swinging loose and banging, which wasn’t ideal for a good nights sleep. The sheets and bed were clean though and shower all good. I’d imagine if it’s not a hot period of weather it’s not so bad!
Spacious, clean, comfortable beds
Location, drunken idiots outside the front of the pub at gone midnight doing burnouts on motorbikes. The pub where you checked in was a bit rough and ready, and the entrance to the rooms and corridors were a bit tired.
Great value for money, friendly staff. Laid-back athmosphere.
Nothing it wad disgusting , so bad that we moved for our second night , like a sauna and not that hot outside , tinfoil on the window for what I don't know
Absolutely filthy, get a cleaner this was so disappointing
Location to 02
Attention to detail, cleaning and could do with a paint touch up (room) Tv did not work no channels, WiFi signal weak for IPlayer
Great people, nice room.
Good location, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, good shower, decent pub below.
As others have said the room was not clean. The rooms were accessed round the back of the pub up a metal fire escape. Not an issue for me but for some it might be. No bright light. I like mood lighting but like an option to put on a bright light if necessary. Bedside light flickered on and off. There was a communal fridge in the corridor but it wasn’t on and when we tried switching it on it made a noise! Again as others have said a full length mirror would be good. It was hot but then we are in a heatwave and they did have a fan in the room that helped a bit.
These are rooms above a pub on a busy street in Greenwich but just so fantastic location. 25 mins walk to the O2. Easy for transport links unti London. Room was nice. Bed really comfortable. Tea/coffee facilities. Hairdryer and electric fan for when it's warm. Tv. Lovely shower/hair products. Fluffy towels. I was in the top floor which maybe unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The young man who owns them was extremely helpful. Had a wonderful stay.
Only mirror was in the bathroom so difficult to see when styling hair.
Great location, comfortable and clean.
Nothing.
Quiet and well appointed room.
Staff mixed our rooms up and opened the doors to 3x occupied rooms with guests in before putting us in our correct room.
Good location to get to the O2 arena for the concert we watched. Room was clean enough. Only 1 chair available in the room. Main issue for me was the drain in the shower not draining quickly enough when showering and ending up pooling in the shower while i was still in.but it was the most reasonably priced accommodation i could find for the night we wanted. Oh and we got 10% off the food from the pub downstairs.
Generally quiet, very clean and a pretty room. The staff were really nice.
Nothing.
Everything I’ve stayed many times for gigs at the o2 short walk or bus straight to it
Location was good, rooms very spacious
The shower was very blocked and was overflowing. It was early in the morning so I text the number listed on booking.com. Received no reply and had to try and unblock it ourselves. Made us late for our event. The shower itself could do with a deep clean.
The property was in a great location for our stay in which we were going to the o2 arena.
The place was passable. It had some issues but you get what you pay for.
Lovely hotel, room was clean, modern and nice decor. Location was good to the O2, only a short bus ride on the 188, so perfect for going to a concert! Staff friendly and helpful! Bed comfortable, and had a fan in the room, which is a great bonus!
Nothing, stay was comfortable, would book again if I ever attend another show at the O2.
Great location
The property is very tired. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly and wasn’t really fit for purpose. The bedding and towels were clean but that’s about it! Stayed here 4 or 5 times before and it’s been great, but not any more.
Everything. Very comfortable bed, nice shower, good hospitality tray, use of an iron, bottled water in room. Had a good night's sleep, too. Good lock on inside of room, felt much safer here than in big hotel chains
Nothing, everything was just right.
Staff are lovely & it’s very close to the o2.
It is not very clean, there were little bits all over the floor & bathroom floor. it was very obvious the place isnt hoovered properly and the bathroom floor was sticky. As it was hot i was sat on the floor getting ready and I had hair & crumbs, etc. stuck to my leg from where it had been lying on the floor. Also during a heat wave with one little fan was not comfortable in the attic rooms. We left at 7am as we were really hot and restless.
Nic
- brud, jedynie łóżko było czyste. Wszędzie grzyb, kurz, włosy, widać że pokój był nie sprzątany od dobrego roku, szklanki brudne z włosami w środku - tragedia
Great location, very nice rooms and comfy bed. Lots of coffee and tea sachets and even oat milk!
Would have been great to have a mirror in the room,l (there was a high bathroom one) but otherwise nothing!
Location for O2 was good
The room was filthy
The room is quite small, but fine.
The heat. It was 30 plus degrees outside, and felt like even more inside, despite an open window and fan.
Lovely, welcoming staff. Homely room. Comfortable bed.
Nothing. It was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Good location for o2 arena, walkable in about 25 mins
Location, easy access to o2/excel
Communal fridge in the hallway (which didn't work ) a small fridge in the room would be great
Room 5 bed was very comfortable. It was near Greenwich park and lots of nice shops/cafes. Easy to check in and out.
Not very clean, rushed job and there were hairs. Lots of stairs. Room 5 is right on the main road and by a beepy crossing.
Size of the room
Dirty shower freezing cold glass in carpet
Perfect location clean and tidy
Nothing to note it was perfect for us to have one night after a concert at the O2
Came down for the London Marathon. Couldn't ask for a better location as rooms were close to Greenwich for all the amenities and easy walk to Blackhealth, plus the race ran straight past it. Rooms were exceptionally clean with plenty of teas and coffees and you could ask for more at the bar. The staff were lovely and there if you needed anything, but you were left alone throughout the stay which we liked.
The only issue, and it was a small one and couldn't be helped as we choose to stay in rooms that were above a pub, was the noise and music from the beer garden which was really very loud from our room. It was a warm weekend so people were in the garden enjoying themselves, but the music was loud, although stopped at midnight and then very peaceful after that. If I hadn't been running on Sunday we would have probably joined in. Sunday and Monday nights were fine though and check out was very easy.
Great host. 30 min walk to the O2. But felt like ten minutes. Great location for the Cutty sark and Greenwich park. Highly recommend
Only fault I found was the side lamps didn’t work. Nothing major. And the shower doesn’t drain very well and is very slow so didn’t have time to wash hair as water would have over flown. But I sure If we had seen the host they would have sorted. Was only staying one night.
Location and room size
Felt like it needed a good clean - sheets and bathroom etc were clean - but lots of dust on lights and skirting board
The bed was nice and the location was helpful when going to the O2.
The room was BOILING. Too hot to relax and sleep in. We went on a day when it was warm in London but the room didn’t have a fully opening window, the fan provided also didn’t work so the room was like a sauna. The room also wasn’t very clean, shower was quite dirty, stains on the walls and the carpet had stains.
Good location close to the O2.
I booked for two persons, but the hotel had also added another bed and also extra charge for no reason. The cost was charged to my bank account before I was able to react. The room ended up more expensive than listed.
Staff were lovely. Bed was clean and comfortable. Good location for the O2
Music and noise from the pub below was very loud untill 12ish when the pub closed. Bathroom and Bed were lovely and clean however the rest of the room was quite dusty.
Friendly manager. We Felt safe. Close to public transport
The water for the shower was very hot and hard to fine tune.
N/A
Close to where we needed to be. Nice atmosphere in the pub. Staff pleasant. Pizza menu looked good and reasonably priced. Close to small supermarkets and restaurants etc. Bathroom toiletries were good, included hand-cream to. All in l would use this place again.
Our small window was dodgy, but needed it opened and wondered if it might fall off so had to be very careful.
It was very convenient for the 02. 188 bus took 15 mins. The guy behind the bar was very nice.
Probably for me up an outside fire escape then a couple more flights of stairs
Not a bad location nice area
We only stayed one night but couldn’t close the window as it was so hot in the room we were sweating but it was on a busy road and the noisy street kept us awake all night
Very good value for money. Excellent location Very pleasant staff. Very clean Great Pub attached but no noise in the room Good public transport
Good location
View onto a wall and roof covered in rubbish. Loud pub downstairs.
Location to O2 stadium
Very limited hanging space for garments, there were only 2 coat hangers no wardrobe and one door hook.
No breakfast was offered
The room didn't look clean. Dust on walls and floor and stains on carpet. Rubbish on the sill outside the window.its down as a superior room but is extremely basic and needs cleaning on walls and furniture
Bon hôtel à Londres. Très bon accueil. Propre et confortable
The bed is ok
The steps were so narrow
Nice room and clean bathroom. Location is nice for me
The bedside light were not working. The window glass has a transluscent film, so you dont have any views.
Nice room for a 1 night stay, decorated nicely and bed was comfy and a well stocked refreshment station
Would have been nice for a full length mirror in the room and other than a hook on the wall there was nowhere for clothing but as it was 1 night that wasn't a biggie.
A fabulous experience, beautiful, clean, welcoming and affordable! Thanks for the thoughtful addition of oat milk.
It was clean, comfortable, and a good location.
There were no coffee packs. Only decaf were provided. There was mould on the coffee tray.
Good
Clean and cosy room with a good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits.
We couldn't turn the radiator off so we had to leave the window on a latch over night.
Location for o2 is excellent- short walk, avoid all the traffic queues - lots of cafes and shops nearby to get brekkie etc
The only down point is there are no full length mirrors in the rooms - we had two rooms booked and neither had a mirror that wasn’t in the bathroom Needs a second mirror in the bedroom space
I've already left a review for previous visit which was glowing. This is a great place to stay as the area has a village feel to it and transport links are good.
Surprising room from small expectations. Tiny hotel but the room was large and very comfortable. Large comfortable bed and a huge TV. Being at the back of the hotel there was no road noise and you wouldn't know that there was a hotel downstairs. Well worth the money.
The rear entry was a bit disconcerting (excuse the expression!)
