Die Lage ist sensationell! Das Frühstück aussergewöhnlich gut! Die Gastgeberin, eine sympathische und angenehme Person!
Wunderschöne Lage. Atemberaubender Ausblick auf das Meer. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite und gastfreundliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Beautiful location. Corneilia was a very nice host and provided us with beautiful breakfast.
Wonderful location for Schull. Great hostess.
Lage ein Traum, Cornelia ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, sehr herzliche persönliche Betreuung. Frühstück außergewöhnlich.
Daß wir nach zwei Tagen schon wieder abreisen mussten.
Stunning views, great location, tasty breakfast options, exceptional hospitality! Couldn’t ask for any more.
Great location and fabulous views. There’s lots of extra space for the guests. Super breakfasts.
Excellent location and breakfast. The views of the bay and surrounding islands is stunning.
Location was great on Colla road about 20 mins walk into Schull. Loads of space in the room that opened onto a patio and back sunroom space. Was great to have a mini fridge and private spaces to sit if the weather is nice. Cornelia is an amazing host and cooked us unbelievable breakfasts. She is interested in her guests and gave us recommendations and lots of local info about Schull. We would happily stay here again!
Bed mattress was a little squeaky but we slept fine and this didn't affect our sleep.
What a fantastic memorable experience! The location is stellar with a view over the water. The decor was unique and every eye full was a treat. But the best part is saved here for last. Our host Cornelia was so welcoming and we talked late into the night. She gave us our space to relax but our conversations with her were wonderful. Our visit here is one of our trip highlights. It was like a visit with a long lost friend. The breakfast was spectacular as if we were royalty. We could tell Cornelia spent not only care on quality of the food but also the presentation.
The sign on the driveway was easily missed. Not sure if local rules would allow it to be more easily seen from the road. Such a minor issue but worth sharing for others to be mindful as they approach...
Fabulous breakfast. Lovely welcoming host and a beautiful house.
My host was so very special to me. We share many chats that an impact on my out look on life. I was very sad to leave. I want to the thank Connie (I’m sorry I can’t spell your entire name) for the special gift you gave me. It means the world to me ❤️ Leeann
We liked Everything. Super nice and friendly host. Best ever. Amazing gardens and sea view.
We liked everything.
La vue !
Location for us was perfect, on arrival there were a few nice touches such as a small bottle of red and white wine ready and waiting with some nuts and potato chips. Also a small table laid out with tea cups, tea/coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was amazing and our host, Cornelia could not do enough for us. The views from the property and the surrounding areas were exceptional. It is a beautiful part of the world and everyone was very friendly.
The views from this home were excellent, and lots of outside places to sit and enjoy it. There was lots of space for us to use within the property. Delicious breakfast options. The host very friendly and helpful.
It was a very nice stay, great service.
This was just the perfect gem for peace, quiet and tranquillity. Cornelia was so lovely, great conversation, and always had great suggestions for places to eat or places to visit. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, a lovely big pot of tea, and wonderful local produce. We really enjoyed being able to just sit, relax, and take in the spectacular views, and it was a nice 25 min stroll to the village. Bed was very comfortable, and we slept really well. We loved our 6 nights here and would go back in a heartbeat.
.
The house was full of treasures and our host was the best treasure of all. It’s quite quirky but charming. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The view is unbelievable
At first I didn’t know what to think, but then didn’t want to leave
Amazing breakfast! Great company.
Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely location, fantastic breakfast. Amazing host.
Cornelia provides a very healthy and filling breakfast, and is a pleasant host to chat to. Her house is in a very secluded place with magnificent views of the coast and islands nearby. it's about a 15-20 minute walk to Schull, and Goleen, Crookhaven and the Mizen Head are all less than 30 drive minutes away. The weather (which cannot be guaranteed) was perfect for the two days we spent there over the June bank holiday weekend.
The location was fantastic, as was the breakfast. Cornelia went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Our trip was very relaxing.
The house is beautifully sited, with spectacular views of the water almost everywhere you went on the property. Our our quarters were large and filled with light because of windows which also provided privacy, although drapes were not in the way.
It was a bit of a hike to town, minimum 20 to 25 minutes and there was no taxi service in town so it was either Walk or nothing.
Beautiful place lots of room
Nothing
Everything. It was the most welcoming and indulged three days we've experienced. Cornelia laid out the most delicious fresh food every morning that would be hard to beat in the best 5 Star hotels. The views were breathtaking, and we'll certainly return. Thank you, Cornelia, for a memorable visit.
Really excellent. Great room. Brilliant breakfasts. Very nice host.
There were no weak points. The best B&B I've stayed in.
Absolutely beautiful property, modern and comfortable, unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to fully benefit from it.
Nothing.
Everything!! Our room was big, bright and spacious with a gorgeous view of the bay and everything we could need at our disposal. Cornelia was the hostess with the mostest and the delicious breakfast we had each morning filled us up for the day!
There was nothing we did not like!
Beautiful spot a short walk to town, Cornelia is an absolute legend and made us feel really welcome, not to mention a great chef! Thank you again, G & C
Very comfortable and quiet. Great views. Schull is a quiet village with good range of bars and restaurants
nothing really
Breakfast was outstanding, view was superb, location could not have been better for us as it was a 1 km walk into town BUT the absolute best part was our host. Cornelia (I probably butchered that spelling) was absolutely THE BEST, friendly, is living a full life and was willing to chat about all the fantastic photos and memorabilia adorning her walls from many exotic locations. We spent many hours chatting.
Nothing, absolutely nothing!
From the moment we arrived at Cornelia's B&B, Rock Hill House, we were warmly welcomed, setting the tone for our stay. Cornelia greeted us with an Aperol Spritz, making us feel instantly at home. Her stunning property offers a complete experience with breathtaking views, exquisite comfort, and a personal touch. Designed and built by Cornelia with great care, the B&B is perched on an elevated site with spectacular views over Schull Harbour, Long Island, and the distant Fastnet Rock. Our spacious suite featured an ensuite and a private conservatory with uninterrupted landscape views. Cornelia’s breakfasts are legendary. We enjoyed a full Irish breakfast with local products, including locally made sausages, two types of bacon, tomatoes, eggs, mushrooms, fresh fruit, and Cornelia’s six homemade preserves. The whiskey marmalade and fresh pastries were delightful. Cornelia is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, enhancing our stay with her advice. The beautifully landscaped gardens provide a peaceful retreat, and the comfortable lounge chairs on the patio offer a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. Rock Hill House, just outside the town, feels like a serene escape. The comfortable, individually decorated rooms reflect Cornelia’s personality and attention to detail. Thoughtful touches, including a basket of bathroom essentials, a flashlight, and umbrellas, ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rock Hill House to friends. The host is a lovely kind person, laid-back and welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet her. She had thought of everything and our stay was very comfortable. And her breakfast has to be sampled to be believed - she's a great cook and it was so beautifully presented! The setting is perfect. The house is tucked away by itself and has stunning views out over the water, but it's a pleasant short stroll into the village of an evening, along a quiet road full of greenery and birdsong - idyllic!
Amazing views and very comfortable property. Cornelia is a very professional, friendly and knowledgeable host. Her breakfasts were delicious and we loved relaxing and chatting with her as we ate.
We loved everything about Rock Hill House.
The hostess was warm welcoming and couldn't do enough for us.

Cornelia was an absolute fantastic host and her property was stunning .
Nothing !
Outstanding. Lovely Atmosphere and loads of room. Fantastic.
The private space was fabulous, lovely personal art pieces on display, and extremely spacious. The breakfast was quite unbelievable, I honestly don't think I have ever had such a wonderful breakfast outside of my own home, certainly not in any hotel I have ever stayed at. Our host was charming and could not of been more helpful with local knowledge etc.
It was lovely, and I can't think of anything that would have improved our experience.
Breakfast. Host very friendly
Could not reglate shower. Roasting or frozen
Warm welcome, friendly conversation, and a fabulous breakfast.
Everything was great.
Great stay, lovely host, great location.
Nothing
Warm welcome, fantastic cooking, spacious accommodation, great local recommendations, relaxing and characterful place.
Corneilia is a wonderful host and so attentive. We were absolutely spoiled during our stay. She tailored our breakfast each morning to exactly what we liked. We had lovely chats with her. Really artsy and literary vibe to the house, in keeping with the setting. Beautiful views of the bay and so peaceful. Lots of space and private little garden also for us to use. A short walk into Schull. Would definitely recommend for couples and solo travellers ☺️
Everything was perfect, thank you. Only thing that might affect some couples/travellers is if they are of an older age bracket is the walk into Schull. While the walk into Schull is quite short, there are no pavements, so would be best to drive if dark.
I loved this B&B. Cornelia, our host, is a very interesting and accomplished lady. Her beautiful house is quirky and reflects her personality. The breakfasts were enormous and comprised of local produce for the most part, as well as homemade items from Cornelia. The setting of the house is high on a hill, overlooking the bay. The surrounding area is beautifully landscaped. If we're coming that direction again, we will be sure to book in again.
It's a bit of a walk to the village. There doesn't seem to be any local taxis or hackneys willing to take on short trips. The road is not well lit, meaning the walk home after a few drinks was quite risky. The only downside to our room was that the bed was a bit noisy and maybe the mattress could be replaced. An electric fan in the room would have been welcomed. If you are visiting, bring a chromecast so you stream to the television. The Internet is good but the television choice is limited.
Corneilia is the best host, so friendly and warm who really went above and beyond while I was staying with her. The view as well from the B and B is exceptional, well worth the trip just to see it. Would come back in a heartbeat
